BevMo!

BevMo is a great place to pick up liquor of all sorts with a broad selection of just about every category of alcohol product and mixes. The aisles are clean and well organized. I needed to pick up some Everclear for my homemade limoncello. I asked the friendly staff for assistance, and they led me right to the shelf. After my purchase I had an informative conversation about alcohol proofs of various products and learned about California restrictions. BevMo's prices are competitive and is a great store to visit if you need variety and depth in your selection.

Great place to find your liquor - there's a lot of selection, especialyl if you're out of town. Recommend looking online before travelling in to make sure they have what you want, but they're typically fully stocked on wines and liquors.

Always great deals for holiday. They got lot of variety and staff is knowledgeable. I asked help with pear brandy and staff was helpful in telling me which one is better and which to buy.

Clean store. Nothing special or different looking from the other Bevmos'. Staff was very helpful. The soju that I was looking for they don't carry, but the staff was friendly enough to speak on the spju they do have and what their thoughts on it was. Ultimately, the staff steered me towards other big box sellers to find my soju. I ended up buying another bottle of soju that I wanted to take a chance on.

The staff are very unfriendly and clearly hate working there. They are so OVERPRICED I will never shop there again...too many better places to get beverages

Nice Bevmo store here. Picked up some liquor for a small party, and it was awesome. I like Bevmo stores. My first time at this location. Nice owners and clerks too. It's a bigger store.

I don't come here for alcohol, but cookies instead! Yes, it's strange that some specialty cookies are sold here and nowhere else. There are lots of locations and pretty easy to get to, so therefore easy for me to get my desserts. The cookies are pretty pricey, so it's definitely just a once in a while type of thing. Who knew this place sold such specialized items?

I have to say that I have been here several times and I have personally always had a good experience here. Not sure why the ratings are not higher for this place. I usually go to TW as it is closer to my home and they are much, much larger. But if you are getting any of the standard brands and items, BevMo! is great if you are nearby. Kind of like the difference between Home Depot and Ace Hardware. Do I really need 3000 choices in kitchen cabinet handles at Home Depot if Ace Hardware carries 300 including the ones that I want? I was in the shopping center anyway picking up something from the local bakery, so it was easy to go here for the beer that I needed. I was greeted as I walked in and told to let them know if I needed any help. I went looking for the Abita beers for our Mardi Gras dinner. At first I could not find them, so I asked for some help. The gentleman who helped me took me right to the area and pointed out what they had available. Although they did not have the Abita Mardi Gras beer in stock (they had ordered it, but they hadn't received the delivery), they did have 2-3 other Abita beers. One was the Strawberry lager; one was the Purple Haze raspberry lager, and one other. Grabbed a 6 of the Purple Haze and headed to the counter. The gentleman at the register was also very nice, had a pleasant Mardi Gras discussion. I found the store to be in great shape visually, being very clean and tidy. Shelves were stocked and faced correctly; cold area was also done nicely. Staff was friendly and very helpful. If I lived closer to here than TW, I would definitely go more often, they have the majority of what I get on a normal basis anyway. And they can special order if you need to. Hope this helps.

Don't know what chicanery is going on here, but apparently you can get a bottle that is still on the delivery truck. Called earlier to see if a bottle was available, lady employee mentions that she doesn't seem to see it on the floor but sees it on order. She then mentions that the truck is still being unloaded and she'll see if she could get the bottle if I were to be walking in. She places me on hold and after a while she follows up with all three bottles have been sold and that they were purchased online. Feels bad that bottles can be purchased here and never even allow the locals to see it.

Good selection of wine, spirits, and beers. Was able to find a wider selection of sparkling wines not sold at grocery stores or mass merchandisers. Pricing was competitive especially if you sign up for their free in store club card. They seem to run specials all the time and it's clearly written on the pricing labels. Have been able to take advantage of in store sales just by walking down the aisles. No coupons needed. Overall, a great place to stop by for drinks for the home or to take to a gathering.

The holidays are here & what a At to start our your shopping at BevMo in Orange. I was greeted by Rene who was lukewarm my personal assistant!! He walked me to the 3 locations in the store where I needed specific alcohols . He was so helpfully & had great energy!! Then I was greeted at the checkout counter by Steve who assisted me as well. It didn't stop there, I received even more help by Isaac & Devn who helped me carry my purchases . All these fine gentleman are assets to BevMo . Very helpful, professional & great energy! They truly went " Above & Beyond " for me . I wish all stores had this

Curbside pickup is lame. I waited nearly 20 minutes. A disabled person should not have to go inside to pickup a large order when curbside has been selected. This also happened on my first visit. I called the store the responding Team Member said that their phone system went down Shouldn't an SUV with an open back door parked in the curbside area be a clue that a pick up customer is waiting.

Best day brewing makes great nonalcoholic beer, but are hard to find by me, and BevMo has it. I placed an order online, which was filled quickly, so quickly I couldn't get down there until 7:45 or so. The parking lot is a mess, but I got a decent spot by sheer luck. I walk in and the only cashier gives me the stink eye like I'm a nuisance. Ok, maybe he's having a bad day. I'm here to pick up an online order, I tell him. He tells me to go over to the other (empty) register where the sign is they are still working on my order, right on the border if sarcastic and rude, like I'm the asshole for not knowing the layout of his workplace and have the gall to ask the clearly available company representative for assistance. I say it should have been filled I say, as I walk toward the empty register with the overhead sign. There is another lady waiting ahead of me. The cashier is gruff to the other customers, except the young woman he seemed to be trying to flirt with. But hey, retail is a hard job. So I wait... and wait... and wait some more. I keep waiting and end up texting my wife I'll be longer than anticipated, because I'm stuck here. I had time to play a game on my phone before deciding to ask for a manager. Then I see the manager, on the far side of the store. She sees me, and ignores me. Ok. I'll just keep waiting. I contemplate cancelling my order, but I think the cashier would love it if I left without my order. Which I can actually see on the shelf with some sliding doors stuck to the front. The manager walks by me and goes behind a closed off area, while occasionally glancing at me, either making sure I don't leave or just wanting to glare at me. I look around wondering at their selection and I notice how ghetto the place feels. I know BevMo is being strangled by its larger competitor, total wine, and I see why. Another employee comes by with a cart full of bottles, likely restocking, and seems surprised I'm standing there. A few minutes later he comes back with another employee to finally let me out of the place. He had a hard time with the tablet to get me going, but I could see what he was doing, and the tablet was not going to cooperate with him. Poor guy. He finally gets the thing to work, and I get out the door. When I go to a total wine I am greeted pleasantly, not the case at BevMo. When I place an online order with total wine, the employees have it to me in 5 minutes, and I never have to leave my car. I understand the parking lot at this BevMo does not make that a possibility but the parking and waiting combination put a real damper on an otherwise lovely evening. I'll try and find best day elsewhere.

The service here really sucks. Last three times we've come in, no one acknowledges you and there's only ever one cashier, even though you see at least 3 or four ppl walking around stocking shelves. Today, there were four of us waiting to check out and there were two other employees, in the main aisle, who saw how many ppl were waiting and continued to ignore us and have a conversation. Also, the online inventory never matches. Like ever. Like not even close. Two stars for having the beer we like.

Bought some things for a party and didn't end up using all of it , came in to make a return and ED had a gross attitude , he was so inconvenienced by needing to make a return . Isn't that your job ? You process transactions? He was so frustrated and sassy over me literally having some bottles to return, he calls over the manager ISAAC and it was the same energy from him too. He wasn't very friendly and was also annoyed with having to process a return . Guys it's ok , people return stuff sometimes . Maybe yall should apply at a job you like working at .

Steve and his team have come through once again! They were able to procure for me, for a very important event, some very hard-to-find wine and spirits in plentiful quantities - and with a level of service that's nearly impossible to match. BevMo associates and managers are excellent when it comes to service, but Steve's team really sets the bar. The atmosphere there is lively and friendly and the staff is genuinely concerned about helping their customers. Still, it's not only their service that's exceptional - their expertise on various spirits is what set them apart. In fact, when I'm looking to make some big purchases, I'll make the two-hour drive from San Diego where I live, instead of a nearby BevMo or Total Wine, to get their informed suggestions and make purchases. March 2020- They are only accepting buy online pick up in stores orders! With that being said, signage is posted at the entrance & tape every six feet( keep your distance!). You can order online, on the BevMo app & I believe over the phone. You have to receive an email saying your order is ready for pick up! You stand right by the door and provide your last name. They will grab your order & bring you in to verify ID & form of payment. No one other than yourself can pick up order. Please! Show up with what you need and take it easy on the associates!

1st time here, employees are friendly and helpful. We signed up to the free membership and we saved about $23 dollars, plus if you get the app and show them, you get an additional $5.00 off your purchase. They have all the favorites in one place, some not even available in most super stores. Amazing selection. However, if you cannot control your alcohol taste, this store is not a good place to go it's like a candy store for diabetic sufferers . You've been warned

Who ever fulfills door dash / Uber eats request lacks brain cells. I Uber eat alcohol on a Saturday night and they sent a bunch of hot beer... nothing cold ... they literally found the hottest beer to send... if people weren't planning to enjoy it the moment it arrived and needed it for later they would just drive to the store a dif day.....if your looking to Uber eats drinks to enjoy just pay the local liquor store !!!! Ruined get together !!!!! I cannot believe how such huge establishment lacks common sense

Be very careful when ordering from Go Puff. Very deceptive advertising with many hidden fees. Also no help from management when alerting with order issues. Very disappointing. Next time, it's Total Wine & More for me.

The smallest BevMo location I have ever been too. The refrigerated beer sections were also limited to the very common beers, such as Budweiser, Bud light etc. However, no refrigerated Modelos.

First time at this location. We had some time to kill while awaiting dinner. Walked in to browse around the whisky section. Bumped into a real whisky expert. He gave us some much good information. I end up buying a glenmorangie for my pops. Fair price for the bottle.

BOOZE! Maybe they should call it BoozeMo? So this place sells alcohol. And some chips and candy, but not that much. I think a local 7-11 might have more options in that category cause this place is all about the giddy juice. Their selection is actually pretty decent, however a bit expensive. Check their sales, especially if it's buy one, get one for a nickel. Once the sales price is applied, it's about the same per bottle as elsewhere. The people have always been really nice when we go there but can be hit and miss on how knowledgable they are. It's clean, albeit warehouse looking. Parking is OK. Join the frequent flyers program for a little extra some'em some'em savings wise.

BevMo came to my rescue recently when I had a cocktail contest for a work social hour via zoom. I ordered all my ingredients online and picked it up the next morning at 11 a.m. This is the closest location to me but beware this is a busy street as it's close to the Orange Mall, 55 fwy., Trader Joe's, etc. I recommend turning in where the stoplight is at. Thank you BevMo! for being the supplier of my newly found profession of at-home bartender during quarantine. Cheers!

Well it's 910 AM the window says they open at 9 AM ... Lights are on but doors are locked ... Please let people know you have adjusted your hours.. False advertising!

I give the 1 star solely based on Ed the cashiers excuse when I asked if he could check another store for a product that was out of stock at his store. He told me I don't have the numbers in front of me and I could just go online and check myself. Granted I just drove from another store to pick up an item that was out of stock there, but they didn't have that flavor at that location. Jim on the other hand was nice, knew his products and held an item for me and then had a great choice of Malbec wine to try.

Last night I chose to pick up an affordable whiskey at Bevmo. I wanted something unique, and it was on a Pizza night pick up. Boy, has this place and vibe changed since the pandemic. I was greeted by a young blonde haired guy. Found what I was looking for.. However, the young man asked me for my ID, and since my Costco card had one I showed him the picture on the other side of the VISA. Easy enough, right? Nah, he wanted me to take my mask off so that he could more clearly identify me. I had to take pause and make sure the man understood that I didn't like this, and he told me this was the policy here at Bevmo. If that really is the policy, and I have to take my mask off "because I look under 40," well then I probably will not shop here again, bud. This location doesn't have a very strong selection of anything. The staff for the most part isn't very helpful and the store isn't as clean and kept up as it should be.

I only came here for the Japanese Soda but I saw more, I also saw American soda. The beautiful packaging continues to draw my attention. But then again, so much from Japan catches my attention. How much beer and wine does a person really need? oh that much, well better take some snacks to go with it. They have all kinds of nuts, popcorn, candy, chips and variations along with fine chocolates. Where was the shopping cart? I had a little basket, parking was ok because its in a sprawled striplet area. The people were ok on the level of being freindly and efficient. the ambience is cool, the place well stocked, and the ease of access is superb (except for some cramp areas where you fear knocking stuff down). Catch this place on Tustin off the 91 or 55 in Orange.

Oh, lookie, here it is, under BEVERAGES AND MORE. Shouldn't it be under BEV MO? I almost gave up. No wonder I didn't write my review of this place three years ago, and the years before that. maybe because I couldn't find it in Yelp. I had to scroll until I found this address. I was tempted to make a duplicate review just so it could be found....hmmm... This review is for BevMo in October. We always come to this BevMo because its close to Trader Joes and Michael's Crafts and for local (Hawaii) people, all those places are fun places to shop since Hawaii has 1) no cool booze places 2) no Traders 3) No Michaels. I am a wine loving, organic food-eating crafter!! Take heed, BevMo and Trader's and Michaels!! I once begged Bath and Body works to open a store in Hawaii and they said No. I even begged them to sell online to Hawaii and they said No. Now, millions of dollars of online sales to Hawaii and two stores later, they are raking in the dough...in Hawaii! The workers in the aisles can be as cold as the refrigerated beer, or as warm as the sodas on the shelves. You just gotta get lucky. Prices - of course you'll pay a lot more!! But look at it this way, where else can you do a Halloween one-stop drive-by and find your Blavod Black Vodka with Pumpkin Head, Fright Bites chips, Rocket P!$$ soda that glows under UV light and Bacony soda??? No where!! No sir. They put together a nice grouping of holiday-themed stuff throughout the store. I've never been to BevMo other than the month of October, so I am not sure if they go crazy around Christmas too.

Today I stopped in to make a purchase and their new store policy is to scan your ID? I responded that I'm happy to show my ID, but, i'm not in favor of my data being given away. The quick response was then sorry you cannot shop here then. So it begins. He daid that it's better for him if we didn't even accept cash. A sign of things to come?

I order a keg earlier today, pay for it online, to be picked up the next day. I recieved a confirmation. At 10:30 p.m., I receive an email the order has been cancelled. What the hell is that? I hope it is a mistake of some sort and they'll make it right tomorrow. If so, I'll update this post. If not, Bevmo is dead to me. Very, very crappy customer service.

Wow. Just saw the new store design. If you're into kambucha, seltzers, frozen pizza and toilet paper, this place is for you! Apparently Bevmo's idea of if its broke, break it more is in full effect. What a great job ruining a place that was barely tolerable in the 1st place.

I've been coming to this BevMo for a few years now and I've always had a positive experience here. The cashiers are friendly and floor staff are always knowledgeable of whatever you're looking for. A few months ago I was looking to try some new seltzers for the summer and they had Cacti and even Happy Dad almost a month early out on shelves. Needless to say I was stoked and got a case of each. I enjoyed my purchases and would recommend this store to all my friends.

Poor customer service. Checkout line is very slow and long. Management should add employees to speed up line.

I like BevMo!s because they all tend to have the same products across each store. Gotta love consistency when it comes to chains. Parking can be kind of crappy on a busy weekend, but much better towards evening. Lots of businesses in the shopping center, but you should be able to find a parking spot, whether it's close or a little further. Staff here has always been nice. Haven't had issues with them at all. Their inventory has been pretty good. I find, though, that if one BevMo! doesn't have a product, it's likely that the other BevMo! stores don't have it, either. Darn. One thing to note is that although you might see the alcohol displayed in front of you, sometimes there are other alcohols that aren't displayed, and you'll just have to ask if they have it. One of our favorite brands of sweet and sour disappeared for months, and then I looked up, saw a case, made sure it wasn't some B.S. lite version, asked one of the employees if they could bring it down and, lo and behold, it's what we were wanting for the last several months. So, if you don't see something, just ask! Prices are fine. Best to always have a BevMo! card just in case.

I love the BOGO five cent wine deals, especially during the holidays! You can get some pretty great bottles for a fraction of the price - especially if you plan on keeping one for yourself to imbibe on later. The store is organized and easy to navigate and they have staff walking around to give some honest recommendations if you're unsure on what you're buying. Big fan of their beer selections and they do a good job of separating it by worldy regions. The whiskey/bourbon selection isn't half bad either, but the pricier stuff is under lock and key. You press a button to summon someone, and there's an old timey song that plays before you're called out on the loudspeaker throughout the store. Check-out is usually pretty painless, but make sure you have their rewards card cause you can get some pretty sweet offers from time to time.

Great wine selection but I'm giving it a 1 star because of the customer service. I guess now that they are really busy with online orders they don't have time to be friendly with their customers. This location is only a few minutes away from me but if I need to drive a few more miles to get awesome customer service that we all deserve then I will.

I'm new to Bourbon and was unsure on what to choose. That's when Grant asked whether I had any questions or needed assistance. After asking him for his recommendation, he proceeded to educate me on bourbon and recommended Basil Hadens based on my pallet. I must say that Grant was dead on as I LOVE the bottle that he recommended. I'll certainly ask for his recommendations going forward. Truly a great location with knowledgeable staff. Yes, they are more expensive than most other places. Yes, the parking is confusing. Yes, it's sometimes difficult to find help...... ...but damn it if they aren't the only place that carries alcohol in the shape of human skulls! Hey - we've all got our hobbies. P.S. I love going to this BevMo! It is very easy to find the alcohol that I am looking for. They have a great selection of craft beers. I love coming here after a vacation and getting the imported alcohols from the places I just traveled to. The staff here has probably the best customer service and was super helpful during my visit. They can give your some great suggestion based on your needs and are very knowledgeable. Parking was easy to find in the large shopping center. The younger man that was helping me at the check out stand was the best! He threw out some great jokes while we're were checking out and danced along with me to the tunes playing in the store. I wish I could remember his name, but I am so horrible at remembering! He had short blondish hair and was tall and skinny. Shout out to that guy! He made our visit extra memorable! I will be back and I highly suggested going to this location!

First off, this BevMo location with Jim, Steve, and the rest of the staff being so helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to spirits that have nothing to do with the paranormal is nothing short of extraordinary. And no, they didn't bribe me with my favorite tequila. The selection here is pretty impressive, whether it's beer, wine, vodka, or tequila. They have friggen "Don Julio Real" heah!!! Holy crap! How can I NOT love this place???? I digress. Let me explain. During my college years I was a poor a$$ Mexican't. So where could I go for some good deals when my friends and I needed to get faded? BEVMO came to my rescue. The sales, the knowledgeable associates, and their weekend wine tastings for 2 bucks made this guy a quick fan. I started from the bottom here when I could barely afford anything; I was your typical college student that was barely scraping by since all my funds went to school. Then after a few years and my first corporate job I was able to buy some of the finer things in life, namely spirits that didn't start with the word "Mad" or came in a cardboard box. I'm a big fan of red wine and this location has a guy named Joe who knows a lot about wines. He recommended many wines, but so far my fav has been a Cab from Dry Valley Creek. If you like a well-balanced Cabernet, this will suit your needs. Bevmo allows you to be YOURSELF; regardless if you're a lush like me or an occasional drinker. You like beer? They got quite the selection. Wine? Vodka? Burg? Gin? They have quite the eclectic collection here and the staff with the knowledge to answer your questions. Fridays bring you wine tastings......Saturdays have beer tastings.....all for 2 bucks. Like, how can this can any better? Yes, this Bevmo is the best the one I've been to so far. But let's be frank; any place with this kind of variety in alcohol can't be any less than 4 stars awright???/

What's not to love? Lots of selection, some great deals, coupons in the mail to entice you to buy more, and what not. I'm usually here to pick up something to contribute to a get together because I don't cook. I just supply alcohol. And there's a great selection here to appease almost every kind of drinker so it's good. Store is clean but what really bugs me is the customer service. I usually stop here on my way out to the party that I'm being invited to so I need whatever I need quick and if I can't find it, I need customer service to be able to quickly locate it for me. That hasn't been the case for the last few visits and I'm left scrambling around the store, in a pinch, to find what I need. Not fun. Other than that, I think the store is great. Plenty of parking, etc.
