Beyti Turkish Kebab

This Turkish restaurant offers an amazing dining experience. Their mix grill ( familly size) is incredibly delicious and perfectly prepared. Additionally, the variety of appetizers is impressive. The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding a warm and inviting atmosphere to the place. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of Turkish cuisine!

I visited this place the day before, and overall, it was nice. The server was attentive. However, the food was quite oily, especially the beef doner. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the pide; it was quite good. When we asked about the service charge that was included on the check, the server acted like she didn’t know what it was, which made it feel like she was trying to scam us. But anyway, the food was fine.

This is a great neighborhood spot. Ordered the meat platter (shish kebab[chicken and lamb], lamb gyro, adana kebab & lamb chops) and the large Mediterranean salad, it was perfect for two. This is the third time here and we keep coming back when in the neighborhood.

Had great experience here while in the area. The portions were very generous in size and the food came out super quick. We enjoyed a couple of different dishes and I must say the chicken kabob was very good. I’m glad they had an option of fries since I typically do not like rice with my meals. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good meal.

I just spent $48 for 2 plates and look at their portions, rice is visible, they didn’t it try cover rice with meat, cheapskates how much is the cost of each plater maybe $3 or $4? Why don’t make it full? I called to the store and guess what .. instead of trying to make it right/apologizing one of the owners of this place insisted that this is full portion and I am probably trying to get free food. Unbelievable. l’ll never recommend anybody to go this place because there are a lot of Turkish restaurants in a neighborhood, not worth it.

a medium-sized eatery. It's not an outstanding shawarma. I would rate my chicken shawarma at 3*. A very strange filling, in addition to cucumbers and tomatoes, there is also pink cabbage, which is out of place there. The toilet is just awful. you can evaluate it in the photo. + collapsing doors that no one has cared about for a very long time. I hope someone reads these reviews and will take action

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Turkish restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel like I was transported straight to Istanbul. The decor was beautiful, with traditional touches that added to the authenticity of the place.

Brighton Beach is definitely not in any shortage of good shawarma/gyro or kebab places and Beyti Turkish Kebab is no exception. It's as good if not better than what you would get at Tashkent or Samarkand Bazaar. But unlike those places, there is a place to sit and eat as Beyti Turkish Kebab is a restaurant. They also have a better selection of kebabs and rice. The restaurant itself is fairly small and has a pretty low key vibe. It's a place you go for the food, not necessarily the ambiance. I've been there a couple of times to order food to go. They were fairly quick to process my order. I think I waited around 5-10 minutes each time. I mostly ordered the chicken gyro. It's very tasty. Gyro/shawarma/kebab is definitely one of the foods you have to try when you're in Brighton because of the authenticity.

I walked in yesterday and did a take out order. I've eaten at or done take out with Beyti many times in the past. Their pides are some of the best in the area. I also love their cold appetizers. I will say the bread is denser (not as fluffy) as some of the other turkish restaurants. Their kebabs are ok. I especially like the chicken chops. A huge disappointment for me is when I went to Turkey last year, I learned what beyti kebabs are. It's a kebab rolled in a dough and baked and topped with a white sauce drizzle. It's delicious! And unfortunately, it's not on the menu for a restaurant called BEYTI Kebab! Please serve your namesake!

This place is it!!!! I had just experience a meeting full of screaming matches- and said to myself"you need a treat"!!! Lol!! - I was just in the perfect area for a GEEERRO!!! I researched - and analyzed options - but once I saw te reviews. Menu - I was STRUCK!!!! I called and ordered Baba Ghanoush. Chicken Doner. Humus. Lamb Gyro. - nice phone attendant - was pleasant. Cordial and thorough!! When I entered / it was so welcoming - great area- clean and well organized dining area - clean Al bathrooms and when I peaked into the kitchens - happy cooks and clean working areas!!! 100!!!! A++!! As if that wasn't enough the food was on point- I also order lentil soups and almond pudding!!!! Recommended!! Highly!!! Go and try it - doubt you'll disagree!

Beyti Turkish Kebab bills itself as a Turkish kebab joint in Brighton Beach to feed the masses and immerse itself into the new Brighton Beach. One that is different from the Brighton Beach you knew from the 1970's and 1980's. The food is okay, albeit expensive. To not give out free water is sad to me. This is salty meat. To ask people to keep paying for drinks is a tacky way to make an extra buck. That alone knocks a star. I got the chicken shish kebab and lamb shish kebab. It comes with no sauces, which is also a shame. The chicken is flavorful and juicy. The lamb is tough, lacks in flavor, and is a little bit dry. It also comes with chickpea rice and a salad and ONE piece of bread. The rice is fluffy and the chickpeas are decent, but the salad goes overboard on the dressing and the bread is dry and bland. That knocks off another star. The portion is a nice size, but you have to be careful eating this. Later on after I left it my stomach began to turn and barely made it home. I have said before and will say it again, if the food does not stay down, my rating goes down. That knocks off another star. So what I am left with is a 2/5 star review. It is disappointing because I really had high hopes considering I like kebab and I liked the friendly waiter who served me. Oh well, at least Opera Cafe, a Turkish restaurant that offers similar offerings, is only one subway stop away from this restaurant. That restaurant gets most of the stars.

Awesome Turkish food at this spot. Definitely need to stop in on your way to the beach at Brighton. Right near the Q subway stop too. Lamb adana was unbelievable. Well done.

Disappoint experience everything is change for this restaurant... it wasn't like this before waiters are so rude and they are charging service price but you are taking your soda from refrigerator:)) utensils in papers anyway I will not gonna there again ...but there is a another issue with them it's very dangerous if you adding gratuity on customer bill you should let them now if not this is robbery just in case ...

I used to ordered here twice a week (especially on work days) Their lamb gyro was so tasty, always juicy, packed with flavor. In recent times, they changed their lamb and it's HORRIBLE. It's super dry, no flavor - not shaved slices, it's more like chopped up pieces of dry beef. I am even questioning if it's even lamb at all. It's truly so disgusting. Do not order the lamb: you'll be so disappointed. Wish they would go back to their original lamb. I definitely cut back on how much I order from them now.

Wow, I think I just ate one of the worst gyro sandwiches ever. It was so dry and so salty. The pita bread was falling apart. I think that meat was sitting out for a while. It's like someone ordered it yesterday and didn't pick it up and I ended up with it. Sheesh. $16 to boot with a drink.

Ten of us came following a group walk. Tables were moved and pushed together to accommodate us. I ordered the lamb Shiska Bob . The lamb was tender and nicely spiced. I ordered the large which means I had two skewers of lamb for $22 . The service was friendly. The food is very good tasted very fresh. Everyone in our group liked their food . One member said in the summer she comes gets a takeout and sits on the beach. I will be back !

Okay, so now I'm back and we decide to eat in. And probably best decision we made. Service is fast, they invite you to sit anywhere. Everyone is friendly and welcoming with smiles on their face. The restaurant is not the biggest but you easily get transported to Turkey with the aroma and of course people watching. We ordered the lamb & chicken Adana combo. And the lamb & chicken shish combo. These were easily the best dishes I've had in a while. I can't explain the seasoning and the perfect proportion they serve but I haven't felt this satisfied by a meal in a while. They ticked every box in execution, style and taste. Oh and the bread. Oh my God. I would return just for that.

Open on Thanksgiving! That's right, we didn't eat turkey, but we did eat... Turkish. There's quite a lot of seating in the back, and a restroom. Quick friendly service, pay cash or card. You can also order to go (that's what most people do). I like that the tv volume is off, so you can ignore it if you want to have a conversation. The $7 vegetarian lentil soup is delicious and quite a large portion. The bread is soft and fresh. Wow! My dining companions say that the meat is reasonably priced for the location. The lamb is lean and tender, and the chicken is cooked to perfection. We all drank cherry juice, which is quite concentrated (maybe water it down if you're looking for something milder). The house black tea is okay. Wide selection of desserts. We'll definitely come back!

Best Turkish food!!!!!!!!! I got the salmon shish meal! The salmon was cooked to perfection! So tender Love that the rice wasn't dry either! The food came out in a timely manner also! My server ksenia was so so helpful, so polite. She was very punctual and made sure i was tended to! Will definitely be coming back for the food and her!

We came here for the first and last time today & only because my daughter wanted chicken or beef kebabs. I usually read YELP and Google reviews before going to a restaurant but my daughter wanted kebabs and this was the only place that we could find in the area.....BIG/HUGE Mistake. This place has a lot of bad reviews The restaurant was hot and stuffy. The only cool spot was by the door and counter when you first walk in. We decided to take the food to go because I can't eat in a hot restaurant. S ordered chicken adana (39) which is chopped chicken grilled on skewers flavored with red bell peppers, paprika & garlic. There was a generous portion of white rice with chick peas, a salad, homemade round bread and a container of marinara sauce and a container of watery white sauce The rice/chick peas was good, the salad was edible, the bread was good but the meat was flavorless and the runny white sauce was nasty I ordered the lamb gyro on homemade bread (#58). I hope the kitchen/cook was having an "off day" because this was not good at all......,well the homemade round bread was good. The meat was burned and had no flavor at all. I should have ordered a gyro at another local restaurant but they had the frozen gyro meat...,...honestly the frozen meat would have had more flavor. There was a sliced red cabbage, a few tiny pieces of romaine lettuce, a few slivers of red onion and 2 overly ripe (almost rotten tomato slices) on the gyro. I was also given a small container of marinara sauce and a container of inedible runny white sauce. We had no idea what we were supposed to do with the red marinara sauce. I assume the white sauce was for the gyro but I had to throw that runny concoction away. I also ordered the baklava, that was decent but not worth 7.00 for 4 small pieces. I took a picture of the baklava but not the chicken Adana or the lamb gyro. They were both looked messy in the to-go containers. I dislike writing bad reviews because I absolutely love trying new dishes at new restaurants that I haven't been to before. But I can NOT recommend this restaurant at all. The food was burned, flavorless and poorly constructed. I truly hope the cook/kitchen staff was having an off day and the food we received is not indicative of what they serve on a daily basis

Let's start with the spinning fire pit as soon as you walk in, it's hot inside and smells like grilled meat ughhh great sign! We were greeted by the grill chefs and waitress who then seated us. Ordered the chicken doner and the chicken adana and it comes with a small salad and bread. The food was reasonably priced and tasted amazing! My chicken doner was so good that a day later I ended up ordering delivery because I was dreaming about those flavorful, tender, chicken thighs that have been spinning for hours then shaved off while all the juices are still running down that huge chunk of spinning chicken. The bread the give you with your meal is so good, it's like a thick pita like bun. Ripped pieces of bread with meat and some salad. Their sauces are made in house, you can taste the dill in their white sauce. Great food, the chicken adana was really good, order the large so you can have 2 skewers and not one. Their hot sauce is pretty mild but adds another layer of flavor when added. I will most definitely be eating here again whether I order online or physically go there and eat. Check them out!

My friend stopped and picked up some food for us before a walk on the beach and I loved it. The grilled chicken was great and the lamb was even better. It was tender and the bread was great. I would love to try it again and sit down next time! But it was a perfect beach meal.

I have been eating here for years . I usually get the mixed gyro , chicken gyro or falafel. They are all very tasty and a nice size portion . As far as service it's pretty quick. The place is clean just a little stuffy.

Entering this unassuming, casual turkish joint, I felt a pang of distrust, as I looked upon the counters serving fast food. I never buy food from such places, but we were in a rush and decided to give this place a try based on all the positive reviews. Service was courteous. Got two lamb gyros, one as a wrap $7.95 and one in homemade bread $7.50 and large fries $6.50. The food was prepared quickly. Got traditional herb tomato sauce and sour cream as complementary side sauces [plus ketchup for the fries, of course]. Fries were surprisingly crispy and light. Not oily at all, but rather bland, with barely any salt. The gyros had a good proportion of vegetables to the meat, ensuring their juiciness. The meat was too salty for my liking. The wrap was delicate and a better alternative to home bread [which was not the best I've ever had, but decent enough] for those aiming to limit their carb consumption. The portions were filling, so you won't feel starved. Unfortunately, my stomach did not enjoy the food as much as I thought I did. At 3am that night, I awoke with debilitating indigestion, causing me to spend several hours on the toilet. Excuse TMI, but it was a night from hell. I was so nauseous, everything was swimming before my eyes. While wanting to throw up like there was no tomorrow, my digestive system simultaneously purged itself from the back end as well. What a ride that was! I handle all kinds of food well, so I was definitely shocked at such violent reaction to the innocent looking gyros and fries. Don't think I'll ever want to repeat the experience.

I've been in this restaurant many times over the summer as the food is great, the service is fast, and the price is reasonable. I've had their lamb gyro, their chicken gyro, the yogurtlu doner, and the chicken platter. It comes packed well and you can pick up quickly and head back to the beach. I've also ordered their food for delivery and it always comes quickly, still nice and warm.

Big upside is that they are open late and have a walk-up window. Table service is average, but everyone is pretty friendly. Hummus is really good. The falafel and chicken gyro are just alright, haven't tried much else. Fairly priced, but there are many other Turkish options in the area. Decor is a bit outdated, but not ugly. Worth a try, but not my all time favorite.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. I loved the lamb chops they were flavorful and juicy. The pita was fresh as well. The sides were good! The portions are great as well! The waiter is so kind, welcoming, and caring. Everyone that works in this restaurant was so nice and they care about their customers. I went in earlier to buy a sandwich and they took the time to answer my question and ensured I had everything I needed. I will be returning to this restaurant in the future. If you are near the Beach or in the area stop by you won't regret it. The sitting area is comfortable and it's very cool inside.

I work in the neighborhood and was craving a gyro sandwich so ordered from here. First of all, the gyro meat is SO salty that it is inedible. Secondly, no sauce in the wrap or on the side. Never in my life had I eaten Turkish food without red and white sauce provided. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This spot is ok. Not bad, just average. There are so much choices and I would I travel all the way here again; nope! The workers aren't friendly either. Pay in cash to save, they charge about 3% on credit cards.

First time here, trying it out per my mom's suggestion - super disappointed. My experience with the woman over the phone was terrible. It just didn't make sense - I asked for a small platter of adana kebab and she said it comes with one piece, I just wanted 2 pieces, with the same amount of rice. I was willing to pay for the extra piece of meat and she just told me it's not possible. Other turkish spots are far more flexible in that sense, especially when a hungry customer is ready to pay. But even that's understandable, perhaps they have a strict policy on such things. When I got there, I made the payment, got my change, stood there to wait for my food, the woman turned to talk to her coworkers and so I had a seat. I thought my food was still being made. After sitting down, I glanced up, there was a bag of food on the shelf for a while and I asked her if that's mine and she said "yes of course!" like I'm crazy. How the fuck am I supposed to know?! I wasn't told my food was ready, I wasn't gestured to grab it from the shelf and no one gave it to me. That is terrible communication on her part. The food was mediocre, I've had better Turkish food and I may suggest this to my friends who like blander foods. My mom said the chicken chops weren't juicy compared to the first time she had them. For the prices, I'd test my luck somewhere else.

If you want good, inexpensive Turkish food this is the place to go in Brighton Beach. It is not fancy by any stretch so it's not a date night place. If you are hungry, want a good size portion and selection of appetizers, main courses, gyros, kabobs, deserts then this is it. The decor was getting run down and they gave it a face lift which helps. Service is ok, the owners are very nice. They get swamped on a Friday night so it can get very noisy. It is located under the elevated train tracks so that does not help. It is BYOB so that is a good thing. I would recommend that you try them and it is supported well by people in the neighborhood.

Mixed grill was generous with doner, lamb chop, chicken and beef kebabs and shredded chicken. But the real star is the calves liver with shredded onion parsley with sumac. With a side of rice Pilaf w chickpeas and bread... this was a filling yummy meal. Generous yogurt and mild red cuminy red sauce over everything.

Food was amazing place has decent amount of room to sit relax and enjoy a meal. Service was great. Only 4 stars cause the area is hard to find parking. Also the prices were good

I'm so glad I found this place , I've been ordering from them for a long time and I've been going to their place once a week Everything is fresh , tasty and yummy and I never get sick of anything . I love their babaganush They deliver the food earlier always and they are so professional , Cicek is a great delivery guy Thank you for making my food so yummy and my days easier when I don't want to cook at home You guys deserve the best Thank youuuu

This used to be my favorite restaurant. Maybe there's a new cook or under new management because my food order was entirely inedible. The only reason I gave 2 stars was delivery was prompt, & now I know why. The cold platter was obviously pre-packed, there was a crust on the hummus that I actually had to scrape off, three babaganoush was soo rancid my wife took one bite, gagged & spit it out& she loves babaganoush. The lentil soup was yellow lentil water with no lentils say all and the Kazandibi was flavorless- the flavor mostly comes from baking so it gets a burnt crust on top, this was not cooked very well. Please replace your cook or manager the food quality head gone done significantly.if it weren't so late and I want so hungry, I definitely would've sent this back.

Food here is excellent! I order from this place a lot because not only is it delicious but it's also consistent every single time. They give an ample amount of bread and sauces (free with order). Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

My visit to Beyti was pleasant. I had questions and was unsure about certain dishes, but the staff were all really nice and helpful. I ordered the small cold appetizer mixed plate and Kasarli Pide to go. When I settled down a half hour later in Sheepshead Bay to sample these goodies, I was surprised by how much was in "small" platter. I could have definitely shared it with four people! First, I tried the cheese bread a.k.a. Kasarli Pide. It was delicious, but the mixed appetizer plate was calling me. I was given a choice of five appetizers. I selected hummus, babaganoush (double), eggplant salad, and haydari. The only thing that was new to me was the eggplant salad, but everything was so delicious! I've had all but the eggplant salad before but they always seem to have a weird aftertaste. Beyti's appetizers were absent of the after taste. Everything was fresh and excitingly delicious. Experiencing Turkish appetizers without the aftertaste was great! I now have a go to place for lunch when I am in Brighton Beach. Although this with you should have yielded five stars, I have one tiny complaint. You only get one piece of Turkish bread with the appetizer plate. There is no way you could possibly eat one please with all of the different appetizers. I bought an extra piece of Turkish bread, but even that was not enough. Nevertheless, buying extra bread is so worth it.

the food was the reason i got gastro. never ordering food from them ever again. this is the second time. the first time i ordered from uber eats they gave me fungus tiramisu. BEWARE. I used to love their food but not anymore.

Beware The food was great and I love this place but they charged me double tax. This happened once before and this time I took a picture of the receipt. The staff acted confused but this happened twice so they should not be confused. They removed it and I didn't pay it but I want people to check their receipts before you pay for anything

The best pide and lahmacun in town. We ordered different kind of pide, lahmacun, mix desserts and mix appetizers for takeout. All of them packed neatly. Utensils and napkins provided. Everything was sooo delicious. My family and our guests loved it. Definitely will order again, again and again.

While I imagine the doner would be a good choice here, the mixed appetizer plate was an action-packed stunner that could turn me vegetarian(ish). I didn't specify large or small and wound up with the $10 small version, a great deal that probably qualifies as medium at last. The spicy ezme was a knockout and the soslu patlicon is highly recommended.

I really hate leaving bad reviews, like really hate it, but I feel like it's extremely important to pay attention to order details. Today I ordered from here and made sure to put in the notes that I don't want tomato on my order. I'm highly allergic to raw tomato so I have to be careful when I order from a place that uses them. I bit into my sandwich and immediately felt that itching burning feeling on my lips, gums, and tongue. I opened the sandwich to see, and as I expected, a wad of tomatoes. This is really dangerous and you really need to pay better attention to the orders people place. Thankfully I always have an antihistamine at home.

I just want to say we ordered Chicken wings and told them Medium Well. Don't burn it. Cooker Guys even doesn't Speak English, chicken was not cook even I didn't ate and put them on the table and waiter didn't ask about what's happened. If there is a 0 point I'll give.

Wonderful! Four of us has take-out from Beyti Turkish Kebab. We enjoyed a mix of dishes, which were very well prepared and reminded us of our time in Istanbul. Meat is cut directly off the spit. The young woman who took our order was friendly, patient and helpful. Our food was prepared quickly. Prices were reasonable. My only regret? That I don't live closer to this gem!

Since COVID-19 took over our lives and literally everything thing that's good in the world I've been craving good gyros and this place is it. I love their gyros it's delicious I personally prefer lamb gyros but my brother says the chicken is better and we both agree their rice is absolutely amazing it's so soft and oily and has chickpeas inside which is soft as well. Would totally recommend their gyros and salads!!!

The food was so tasty. The kebob was so tender and not chewy. The salad was fresh and tasty. I enjoyed all the food. The place was easy to get to from the beach and we took our food to the beach. I will definitely recommend this place.

This place is great. The food is exceptional and truly authentic. The Iskender kebab is awesome. The baklava is also very tasty.

90% of the meat was missing. Ordered 2 most expensive meat dishes on the menu. Received a box full of wet bread, covered by very few thin slices of meat. Nothing what a kebab plate should be. They even cut kebab pieces into slices, who does that?

Had the chicken gyro perfectly seasoned and had the shepherds salad, that was just OK, a little overpriced for what it is, probably wouldn't get it again.

They sent me a "gift card" in the mail to try their food for $50, no stipulations or conditions in the letter or card, when I arrived I suddenly needed to make a $150 purchase to use the card. Massive waste of time and bait and switch tactics. Do not trust these types of businesses.

Disappointing take out experience given how many positive yelp reviews this place has. I knew it was a bad omen when the guy ahead of us stormed out of this place without his food. We ordered to go and got our food pretty quickly so no issues there. I got the falafel plate which comes with falafel hummus and a salad. Nice sized portion but the falafel was terrible. Dense, and hard as a rock it was way over fried and over salted. Hubby got the chicken gyro with pita. Chicken was fatty but flavorless. I also ordered an extra side of hummus and it was decent. Only other redeeming quality was the fresh baked Turkish bread they give you with the hummus. I can't even imagine eating in at this place it was so hot inside. Service was also not friendly. Location is right by the Brighton beach train station so pretty convenient but there are so many other great places to eat in the area that I won't bother to come here again.

I have dine here a few times, the food is very good and I have no complaints about it BUT what I do find very offensive is that they have decide not to allow any patrons to use their restroom during the present pandemic, I mean like why?? Covid 19 infections do not happen from using a properly clean bathroom!! If one wears a mask and even gloves, where is the issue?? If washing your hands frequently is the advice given, then why not allow your patrons to do so in the restrooms?? Furthermore, restaurant restrooms should be clean frequently and properly whether under a pandemic or not, and to top it off this is not the restroom the employees use!!! so I find it very offensive that they would not allow us (buying customers) to use the restroom. BTW after I left this restaurant I went to their competitor's a block away and they let us use the restroom, goodbye Beyti!!

I would rate Beyti Turkish Kebab three and a half stars. The food was very good. We started off with a Shepard's salad with cheese. It was delicious! It was well seasoned with just the right amount of sumac. Next, we had the fried liver cubes. These were fried without breading so the liver flavor was quite potent. The sauces balanced this dish out for me. For our main course, we shared the chicken gyro platter which was delicious! All together, the food was tasteful and a great value. I wish the service was a bit more attentive and careful. They didn't check on us and we always had to wave over the staff if we needed something. Our server didn't put in one of the items that we ordered. I'd definitely return for takeout.
