The 18 Best Restaurants in Cannes, France - Eater

"Mauro Colagreco brought a taste of his hillside, Michelin-starred spot in Menton over to the coast of Cannes at Plage Barrière Le Majestic. At BFire by Mauro Colagreco, a seasonally rotating menu pays homage to the chef’s Argentinian roots through plates like sea bream ceviche and wood-fired fish du jour. Sure, you can choose an haute version of a pan bagnat (a salade niçoise-stuffed sandwich), but that’s not why the chic crowd comes here for lunch or sunset cocktails. Skip the upscale beach bites and go for the chef’s signatures, like the roasted macadamia nut-sprinkled Mediterranean prawns or seared sirloin steak. [$$$]" - Lane Nieset, Alexander Lobrano

Family of four there Aug 12 2024. We are Asian. Booked table and seated by table close to beach and sand area. Ordered a truffle pizza at 50€ to share and each of drink from 8 € to 16 €. Food not even arrived. A female hostess Black came and said “This table is reserved. You ordered a truffle pizza to share “ and almost gesturing as if we did not spend enough for that seat when all seat around almost empty. Stopped her right there and stated clear that we also reserved a table and that we are not moving until we done eating. “Continue to gesture we can use the lounges after” as if we need to rush for the food. Does not understand why she has to do that and made the experience unpleasant? Not sure what in her head regarding providing standard customer services. If not, please do not ask your customers to leave a table until you see them leaving on their wishes. Your restaurant charged a 20% service fee. So please live up to it and do not treat Asian disrespectfully. The male staffs at the lounge beach area are nicer and smiling face and willingness to help with photos and pride to show their place are better experience than the restaurant .

The service was excellent they went above and beyond to accommodate us as we had a toddler and a baby and we were a big group with different food requests and allergies. The food was nice however nothing extraordinary, but overall it was great. Parking was a challenge as during the high season it was nearly impossible to find a spot near the restaurant. The toilets need more attention as we did not find them clean. The atmosphere was nice as they had a DJ playing music and cooling mist and air conditioning.

Lovely place on the corner of Cannes. Not so easy to find. Very nice vibe to the place. They also have DJ. Outdoor and indoor seating available. The burrata for 2 people is not as big as I thought. Also, it isn’t the best burrata I’ve tasted. I would give it a 7/10. They forgot to get us our drink. 😔 We had sea bream and sea bass for main course. It was cooked well but the dressing was fruity which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. The green salad was soaking in olive oil which I noticed once I reached the middle of the salad. The pasta with truffle and roasted almond was nice. It was a large portion for a starter to be honest. Cappuccino was huge and watery. It just looked good lol. The bowl of fruits was huge. Caster sugar was sprinkled on fruits that were so sweet and fresh. Espresso and macchiato both not good. But it’s a nice place to hangout.

If you are in Cannes and want to have a great time on the beach, definitely this is the right place! Hgh service, excellent cuisine, friendly staff, guests are provided with towels, and there are shower rooms. I look at the photo and want to go back. we were on June 15, 2023

Best customer service ever. The food and the drinks were really good and tasty but the customer service was the cherry on the top to make this experience unforgettable. Thanks to Christopher.

Don’t go. Don’t waste your money. We ordered the chefs signature dish which arrived tepid and over cooked.with no hint of being wood fired. It arrived on a grill with no heat or coals We also ordered the “half “ cooked swordfish which arrived fully cooked and dry and room temperature. We complained and they apologized and brought the bill. We left 3/4 of our meal. Too bad because I was really excited to eat here. I felt we received food that had been sitting around the kitchen since the lunch rush. Don’t waste your time.

We had a great time mainly due to the friendly service and generous portions. There’s no show and the music is tuned down etc, it’s very “hotellish” and private - so if you are like me, you’ll enjoy that peace and quiet whilst still being on the Croisette. The food was great! Just missing that Argentine food like humitas, dulce de leche based desserts, other meats like fillet steak.

Came to have lunch on my cruise after a tour. The hostess seated everyone but myself as I was alone, and in regular clothes. Just because today I didn’t look like I come from money doesn’t mean I don’t, and I tip well for service too. Absolutely a disgrace, I wouldn’t give them a euro due to the prejudice I received here.

Yelp
Aeporal spritz 8.32/10- refreshing, not really strong. Quite fruity. It took them around 30 minutes though to make and serve this to us when there was only one other customer which was pretty upsetting

Yelp
Very trendy Riviera casual. Tables on the beach and get served in your speedo. Or polos and khaki shorts on the terrace. Classic Mediterranean dishes with ambient edm music and "The beautiful people." Service is French. But so is the kitchen!Pack your good wallet!
