What a great choice while looking for healthy eating options while traveling on the road. Wonderful salad with the beef option was the perfect combination of flavors. Could really taste the charred taste on the beef patty which was good. I finished the salad the next day. Which was still tasty. Definitely order from here again when in town .

With all of the amazing food choices in Portland, seriously how is this still open? I went in to buy their Avocado Lime salad. Assuming of course there would be avocado ( like the website photo shows a nice amount of avocado on salad) on it. It had two small slices. You can see my pics. I never complain about foods, but I did. And when I did the two men working, laughed at me. And then said they “had to grab their manager.” The manager came out and authorized them to add more avocado ( thank you) it then actually looked more on par with the advertisement. I had also bought sweet potato fries. I had asked the cashier “ Do they come with any dip or anything?” She said “ no, no dip” No offer of ketchup or anything? Weird. She wasn’t super helpful and frankly seemed grumpy. This is not my first visit, I can say that the first visit I had was almost as lackluster as this one. So I’m done. There’s way too many good choices in Portland region. I will say the restaurant was clean. So that’s something I guess.

Google
I guess I could just start by saying don’t order from here through DoorDash or you’ll get the result of a 2 HOUR WAIT IN THE SAME CITY ON A SUNDAY. Food was absolutely cold and a ketchup bomb that’s everywhere completely soaked…. Diabolical behavior. To top off all this, never received our smoothie. Only gave it a 3 stars because 1 person can’t make a simple burger and another can’t deliver in a timely manner! WHAT A WASTE OF $30

I always had great experiences here since I started going here in 2021. Great food, service and a nice atmosphere.

Google
I ordered the Cobb salad and buffalo cauliflower bites for takeout. For the price I paid which was ridiculous. I received what I consider a small salad which did not contain the extra chicken that I asked for. I tried to eat the salad, but the lettuce is so old and dry, and the cucumbers were the same. The blue cheese dressing had almost no taste. The Buffalo cauliflower bites were tiny in quantity and tasted like they were made yesterday. I am so disappointed and really mad at the crappy meal I received from this place stay far far away because their name is definitely not what you get. Horrible!

sarah G.

Google
I ordered take out so I gave neutral scores in those categories. My Cobb salad was the most disappointing waste of money I’ve ever experienced. The lettuce was wilted. The avocado was brown , mushy, and mixed throughout the salad. Everytime I thought I picked it all out another disgusting mushy piece would find its way to my mouth. The bacon was undercooked so it was fatty and the texture was inedible. The hard boiled eggs were bought and taken out of a bag. They were not freshly cooked eggs. They tasted like preservatives and chemicals. There was not one bad element in this salad. It was all inedible. Every ingredient was lacking. DO NOT waste your money on this inedible mess!!! B Good? Seriously? Your name should be taken away and copyright removed. The sad part is they will not care about the money they took from me or acknowledge this feedback. My guess is they will continue to disappoint and accept money from people for a product that belongs in the garbage. I guarantee this business will slowly burn the bridge with one customer at a time. Instead of taking responsibility for the poor quality they will slowly drive their business into the ground. People are currently struggling to make ends meet. Spending $13 plus tax, tips and other fees will not settle well with consumers. They will not be back and I will encourage everyone not to even try your food because it is inedible.

Lisa-Maye H.

Google
The chicken was excessively dry; the tomato was mushy, and the lettuce included its most bitter and tough portion. This was unacceptable for a $14.55 price point, especially considering the diminutive size of the sandwich.

Google
This is the best burger place I have ever been to. I went to the one in the Old Port when it was there, and I've been coming here. I've followed their evolution through the years. They make burgers that taste fresh and delicious, but they don't make you feel a little queasy when you're done like some of the fast-food burgers do. They use high-quality local ingredients when they can, and have a selection of other nice items on the menu such as acai bowls and loaded quinoa bowls. Their chicken sandwiches are great. Their regular selection of burgers is fun, not to mention the seasonal specials such as maple bacon. Instead of eating at the Maine Mall's truly lousy food court (other than the adjacent Jaffa Mediterranean Grill), and filling up on God-knows-what, you could try doing your shopping and then stopping by this place on the way home. That's what I do. The entrance is literally only 1,200 feet from the Philbrook Avenue entrance to the mall on Gorham Road. You could walk there. (The Maine Mall itself is 1,600 feet long.) Not to mention, it's less than a mile from I-295 and less than 2 miles from Route 1, so convenient on the way back from a day trip. Just keep it in mind. B.Good has a display on the wall that shows the farms where they get their stuff, and what is in season at the time! You are not gonna find that at too many places. As a side order you can get something truly interesting such as buffalo cauliflower bites, eggplant meatballs, or sweet potato fries, but their regular fries are excellent as well. As are their smoothies and milkshakes. They have a kids menu; stuff that kids like, but without all the junk that you might get some other places. It's a nice casual relaxed environment and the staff is friendly. On price they won't compete with McDonald's, but on value for your money they blow McDonald's out of the water, and you're supporting a small regional chain that has struggled since COVID. Some locations including the Old Port location and some others in New England have closed. They are now down to five locations. Let's give this sweet little chain a few of our well-deserved dollars so that it's not just the usual suspects to choose from. I mean, I see the cars packing the parking lot to go to Olive Garden. I don't want to knock the American megachains, and they can be a good time, but these excellent smaller chains deserve our business, and they don't have the marketing oomph to advertise during the Super Bowl or anything. This place has a unique vibe. You can get your stomach-wrecking Whopper in Kalamazoo, Michigan, or your greasy Big Mac mystery meat in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, but you are not going to find a lot of burger joints anywhere that bring it like this badass New England chain does. I don't buy a lot of burgers out because I make a mean burger myself. But B.Good just offers one of those simple pleasures out that is hard to duplicate. I think it's a shame that the Old Port location is gone, especially since Five Guys is gone from downtown too which means a little less competition. B.Good is head-and-shoulders above Elevation Burger, which recently closed (I'm updating my review to reflect this). This place is right in the sweet spot of a current trend of food that's delicious and high-quality while also being not bad for you (or being good for you, depending on what you order). There are a lot of regulars here, but I'd love to see more people find out about this place so that the chain can start growing again like it deserves to. This place absolutely rocks. Check it out.

Yelp
On-line ordering for p/u couldn't be easier! I ordered the Harvest Kale salad with Quinoa instead of chick peas and the Crisp Veggies. The veggies were fantastic! A mix of broccolini, carrots, kale, mushrooms and zucchini. Garlic too. Even though cold (sat in the break room for 30 minutes), I was able to microwave for 90 seconds, plenty hot and still quite crispy. YUM! The salad was just as good! Kale was massaged ahead of time, so it's perfect! Beets, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts and Quinoa. Topped w/ honey vinaigrette! Good variety of textures, healthy eating that tastes great! Have to do take-out from B.Good more often!!

Yelp
Ordered food and was then told 25 min wait after paying for my order. Wish they had told me this ahead of time as I would have left because I had my hungry kids with me. Then we noticed people getting their food who can in after us. No sense of urgency and lots of hungry customers waiting for food. Will not return.

K B.

Yelp
This place has healthy food options and the people are really kind and genuine, a real gem!

Yelp
First I'll say I had a burger, which I do about 3-4 times a year. I like to get them at B. Good because I've never been disappoint with their burgers. I went to B.Good on Sunday night just before 7pm. I was in a hurry to eat & get back on the road. I didn't realize that they closed at 7. I got there just as the manager was locking the door. He let me in. The floor was almost completely washed. The grills were getting the finishing touches on cleaning. The cash register had been reconciled. I said I would leave. The young person washing the floors quickly came to the register. He said no it's fine. We're going to be here for a while. The man cleaning the grill was just as pleasant. He never gave me a sideways glance. He just got what he needed to complete my order and got on with it. Both of the workers couldn't have been more kind! I watched as the cook patiently tended my burger. Checking to be sure it was cooked through...perfectly, I might add. He handed it to the cashier who gave it to me with a smile. The cook also smiled and gave me a thumbs up. I thanked them profusely! I am grateful for their kindness and the delicious burger I enjoyed!

hannah g.

Yelp
terrible service, my food was sitting at their counter for 20 minutes. there was nobody in here they were clearly slacking and not paying attention. we also waited for 15 minutes to even order our food until someone finally came up to us, even though all three workers were looking at us standing there waiting. wouldn't recommend the portland location specifically. food was still decent but not worth the wait. Protein portion sucks as well.

Yelp
I decided to check this place out, because it had some vegan options. Ordering was self-serve at the computers, but there were employees in the kitchen/food prep area in case you had questions. It was an okay atmosphere. Not exciting or super inviting, just a place to sit and eat. It wasn't busy when I went but many of the tables hadn't been wiped down, so maybe they had a rush before I arrived? Food was okay. I got the veggie burger on greens. The chipotle sauce was tasty. My mother got a chicken salad. She said the chicken had some tough chewy pieces and wasn't too exciting of a meal. Also, the kale was supposed to be marinated (that's what my mother said anyway) and it wasn't. So, I'm grateful they had veggie options, and yet, I feel like the food and space is really plain and could use something... More. Plastic to-go cutlery and paper/plastic containers and they did have recycling. I'm used to Hawaii where it's all compostable to-go materials. It would be nice to see that instead of single use thick plastic, but grateful they had recycling. I would suggest making the recycling and trash labels different colors. I'm guessing a lot of people mistake one for the other because they look the same... So the skeptic in me wonders if proper recycling is even happening. I probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
In an area dominated by chain restaurants, B.Good stands out as one of the healthier meal options such as salads and bowls, and they also make good burgers and fries here. We got some of each of these at our visit there. It was a slow evening, with few customers, so I have no idea how busy it might get during the lunch or dinner hours. There's an interesting beverage selection. There's also plenty of seating. It's a little bit away from the "fast food corridor" in South Portland, but it's worth the side trip.

Shania M.

Yelp
Hits the spot everytime! quick, easy, so good and healthy, definitely gets you full fast and is more filling than it looks. As someone who enjoys mixing flavors and doesn't eat "plain" this place is definitely worth a try, ideal lunch spot!

Raychel F.

Yelp
The staff here is absolutely above and beyond amazing. Everybody is so friendly and everyone smiles every time I walk in. I work next door at olive garden, and the staff is always so sweet to me when I come in. The food is also amazing! I come here at least twice a week. They know my orders by heart and always make sure everything is good! They are always playing nice music and the lighting is nice! It's always a nice time when I come into the south portalnd maine location. Thank you for great service!

Yelp
The burger without bun was good, but the sweet potato fries were soggy and almost inedible. For $4, it was a tiny portion, which did not make it any better. Fries should be crispy, at least. Maybe the stoned employee who took my order and couldn't find the salt packets was trying to warn me. She asked me why I was ordering them. For some reason salt is stored behind the counter? Being stingy with salt packets is not a good look. Anyway, the burger was edible, but on the whole, not worth a return trip. Wi-Fi was free, so another star for that.

Yelp
Went tonight (6/24) at 5pm for dinner . Place was absolutely filthy ! Food and rubbish on the floors and the tables were all sticky .. hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile . Our napkins stuck to the table as we tried to clean them with water. There were 4 napkin holders with no napkins .. had to go to the counter and ask ... had a sleeve of napkins and just handed the sleeve to me and said "take some " . Granddaughter and I had the Açaí bowls that were good ... wife had a kale ceasar salad with chicken that was inedible ...kale was bitter and warm .. romaine was browned on the edges .... Wife only ate a very small amount . For $45 for three relatively small items , my expectations were high , although with four people working , it took 35 minutes to get our food .. and we were the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE BUILDING . Only 1 person came in to pick up one item in the entire hour that we spent there . So if you're looking for a clean place to get good food promptly ... BGOOD ISN'T THE PLACE !! We do NOT RECOMMEND !!

Yelp
the vibe: atrocious. depressing, even. that of a community college dining hall at 4pm. the food: immaculate. literally recommend anyone looking for the best burger in town here. also why do you have to go to the counter if you want ice for your fountain drink. like why keep the ice hostage.

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Yum! Lots of gluten free options and so fresh and yummy! Definitely recommend! Wish they had these in California!

Yelp
I LOVE B.Good and everything it has to offer. Locally-sourced ingredients? Quinoa bowls? Rosemary lemonade? Large portions? Sign me up. Having been to other B.Good locations, I was excited to try this South Portland location for a quinoa bowl fix. On a Saturday afternoon, this location was very busy, but the staff made the line go by quickly. I ended up ordering the spicy avocado and lime quinoa bowl, with my friends ordering some salads and burgers. I'm always surprised by the portions of B.Good, and I hope this never changes. My grain bowl was heaping with goodness, however, I found that my friends' salads were not so bountiful. In fact, their salads were solely lettuce with limited fixings on top. On top of that, my friend found a piece of cardboard in her salad. She brushed it off, but then I noticed I had a strange white thing in my quinoa bowl. It was hard and I couldn't figure out what it was. I get one person having something in their meal as a mistake, but two? We were very disappointed. The people who ordered burgers had super dry bread, and the quality of the food at this location just isn't what other B.Good locations have to offer.
google avatar

Bryan R.

Yelp
B Good used to be a go-to for me. I used to go to the old port location all of the time for great food served in under 10 minutes. The South Portland location had held this standard for a long time. Our last two experiences will be our last. We waited over a half hour for a relatively simple order for two which we shared with our young daughter. The food was not as impressive as it used to be. The wait time was ridiculous. This last time, we waited over 25 minutes for 2 burgers, a smoothie and a grilled chicken breast for my daughter. The burgers were lousy at best and the chicken was so overcooked that my young daughter couldn't chew it. The smoothie was pretty good but they didn't offer to serve it before the very long wait. There were two cooks exhibiting no communication about the food in the open kitchen, gossiping the whole time, and not assisted by the other staff present, who weren't even cleaning the dirty tables everywhere. The cooks exhibited no hustle and a very slow pace. They weren't even busy but the few customers that got their food before us all looked unhappy and were apologized to for the wait. We went here because it's "real food, fast" but at this pace we'll be going elsewhere for better food, faster for now on.
google avatar

Yelp
5 stars for service. Came here the other day during lunch hour for a quick bite. The wait was a little long, but I'm not sure if people understand the labor shortage happening in the restaurant industry right now (SO BE PATIENT!) The guy at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. The 3 making food we're going as quickly as possible while on lookers stared at them hoping their laser eyes would some how make them go faster. I watched a women attack the younger girl about something out of her control & she handled it with such poise & patience. Chicken sandwich was nothing special. But this place is efficient and gets the job done for the price point. Thanks to the 4/5 employees that showed up on Wednesday October 9th and did a great job despite the audience
google avatar

Judy A.

Yelp
My daughter had a gift card to B. Good and invited me to go with her to lunch. Lucky me! The burgers, salads and shakes were delicious. Everything is made fresh and you can watch them prepare your meal. The wait staff are friendly, and the line moved very quickly. The seating is okay... It's not the most comfortable seating.
google avatar

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
B. Good is the top lunch spot in SoPo in my opinion. They have healthy, local options unlike most chains in the area. The space is big and does not feel crammed at all. The food comes out quickly and is freaking delicious. I've tried a bunch of the different grain bowls and loved all of them. Local beer on draft too!
google avatar

Gladys M.

Yelp
This place is barely holding on it appears. They only employees are in the kitchen. You have to order yourself at a kiosk and they ask for a tip when paying. Tip for what? I ordered it & went to the counter to pick it up. The quality of the food is subpar. The sweet potato fries were undercooked and limp. The kale salad with chicken for 12.00 had 6 tiny chunks of meat. It was freezing in there. So cold I had to go to my car to warm up. They defiantly didn't have the heat on. Don't waste your time & money going here.
google avatar

Abbey O.

Yelp
So full disclosure I've only done the online order here so I haven't seen what their customer service is like. I will say the online ordering was surprise easy and their estimate for how long my order would take was actually right. I got the south west salad, it came with chicken, avocado, black beans, corn, tomato and red onion. I will say this the presentation of the food was good. It looked close to the photo they had on the website and there was a lot of avocado chunks in there. But the chicken was cold, and the portion seemed small for the price of $11. It was really just average to me it didn't really live up to the hype of this place.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great surprise to walk into this place and find that they fill the void on healthy alternatives around the mall area. The restaurant was clean, well kept and definitely had the feeling of local all over plastered on walls, on drink fountains and all other cracks and crevices you might find here. I had not been to the one in the Old Port so I was unaware of what I was missing but I now will be back .... Numerous times. The employees were super friendly and were there to answer any questions about the local products and the unique mixes for their salad bowls and kale bowls. I had the citrus avocado salad with grilled chicken and let me tell you, I loved every stinking morsel of it .. It was light and refreshing and hit the spot for something that doesn't sit in your belly the rest of the day like a load of bricks. The great part was the ice cream scoop of fresh goat cheese sitting in the middle of the salad CAPITAL YUMMO!! At the table we tried some of the 4 bean chili that was amazing with the black beans stealing the show topped off with sour cream and some fresh grated cheese over the top. My other friend at the table had the turkey burger with a jalapeño slaw on it that he could not stop raving about. He also had a fresh and delicious cup of lemonade with a hint of rosemary in it that he loved also. With this being a replacement for the previous establishment that was here is definitely a step up and the people really seem like they care about giving good food, at good prices, with good service!! I cannot wait to be back for more.

Yelp
After leaving the mall, I thought that the name was interesting and decided to give it a shot. With my first steps in the door, it seemed a little bit overwhelming. They had nice tables, a nice fountain, condiments, and a pretty good menu selection to choose from. They have bowls, salads, burgers & sandwiches, smoothies, milkshakes, and sides. After deliberating for a few minutes, I ended up ordering a spicy avocado & lime bowl with quinoa for my mom with fries, and I got the burger with egg, avocado, and sweet potato fries. While I was waiting for my food, I was trying the different drinks that they had. I have never heard of Maine Root being from the west coast so I tried everything. The drinks had a different taste compared to their commercial equivalent, but I liked it. Their Sir Kensington ketchup also tasted different that other ketchups I have had, but I also liked it. I was impressed even before the food hit the table. The portion sizes were actually pretty decent, especially in the bowl. I was pretty good after eating my sandwich, but my mom didn't want her food, so I had to finish it for her. I was getting full at the very end of the bowl even though it was mostly vegetables and quinoa. The amount of fries that they gave us were enormous. I didn't complain one bit. I love sweet potato fries and they were cooked really well, nice and crispy. I loved my meal in its entirely and would love for a place like this to be in Las Vegas. Although it won't happen, I guess I'm going to have to wait for the next trip to New England.

Yelp
B. Good is a reliable option for locally sourced food. Not only do you know where your food comes from, but you can also find all of the ingredients in their dishes, sides, and dressings in the book by the register. We come here from time to time for a solid option if we are in the SoPo mall area. They are always happy to make any adjustments to any dish that your oder. We had the kale harvest salad and substituted the dressing for an option with no sugar (we knew to do this from reading the book). We also had the Adopted Luke with no bun over lettuce. It comes with BBQ sauce that we opted out of. We did have the mushrooms and caramelized onions on top. Their burgers are always cooked perfectly! One improvement I wish they'd make is their french fries. I love that they bake instead of fry them, but I feel as though each time I get them, they are soggy. And this fry lover does not like soggy fries! How fresh is their food, really? You can see for yourself; they make it right in front of you.

Yelp
Great atmosphere...quick service and the food is pretty awesome! Friendly environment for families.

Sorya S.

Yelp
I have eaten at this place before and it was great but I ordered doordash tonight from them and it was TERRIBLE. I got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and sweet potato fries. BOTH ALMOST INEDIBLE. The chicken in the sandwich was hard and very very dry. The presentation of it looks like a drunk chef made it. The fries were soggy and not crispy at all. No flavor to those either. I'd rather have hospital or prison food. Last time I'm eating there.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the El Guapo burger without the bun. It was just OK. This place strikes me as a wanna-be 5 Guys. I was surprised by how small the beef patty was and a little disappointed in how rare it was cooked. My wife had a Caesar salad that was good. When we finished the meal she needed a to-go box and waited at the counter for the employees to finish the conversation before they acknowledged her. That didn't really impressed either of us. Their bottled cold brew coffee was very good. The store is cool looking, they just need to make the flavors in their food better. Worth a stop, you might find something different than we did. But for now, and for us, it's no Five Guys.
google avatar

Eric G.

Yelp
Used to be great. Today not so much. Portion sizes seem to have gone down, but prices up. $4 for one piece of Avacado toast ?!? Basic burger $7.50 - not that unusual - but then $1.50 more for a slice of cheese. Average for a POUND of cheese at the supermarket is only $2.50. The worse part was only 4 other customers in the restaurant (read: not busy) and my food was served on top of a puddle of pickle juice, making the bun soggy. They made a new bun but didn't even offer an apology. Past experience here seemed like a lot of love went into things. Didn't feel that today.
google avatar

Jaana S.

Yelp
Great concept! While the salads were not necessarily Sweetgreen or Chopt quality, they were still very good for the type of fast food-esque experience you're getting. I ordered the spicy avocado and lime grain bowl and throughly enjoyed it. (It didn't come with a lot of "grain" though, as you can tell by the pic) After adding chicken, it was 13 dollars which is on the pricey side, but I thought it was worth it considering the quality ingredients and amount of food I received.
google avatar

Francine L.

Yelp
B good .... be very bad. Will not be returning. Soogy fries and tater tots and a burger so thin and charred the edges were inedible. Beyond disappointed.
google avatar

Alex S.

Yelp
So, something has changed here. Used to have power bowls and seasonal selections. The menu has changed quite a bit for the worse. The herbs in the garden at the front are all dead. The condiments they used to offer, they don't anymore. The floor was sticky. The fries taste like those served in my high school (undercooked and soggy). I got the vegan spaghetti and meatballs which was decent and worth the $10, but our visit every few months will now come to and end.
google avatar

Kerrie D.

Yelp
First the positives: I LOVE their lemonade selection. The plain is amazing, the rosemary is incredible, and the beet ginger is out of this world! I give them big props for trying to make eggplant meatballs with zucchini zoodles. Yes! They source locally and serve up quality meats and vegetables They have just as many vegetarian options as non. Nice! Now the negatives: Very small servings for not so cheap prices The eggplant meatballs were a BIG disappointment. Eggplant does not taste like ground beef unless you do all kinds of weird things to it. I was ok with eggplant, excited actually, what I got tasted freaky Did I already mention the small portions? I still frequent B.Good for the quality of their salads and that blessed lemonade, but only when I feel like I have the extra money to spare.

Yelp
30mins to get 4 burgers. I could have butchered a cow, ground up the meat, grilled it, grown the veggies faster than this. No hustle in this kitchen. Also got rid of the good hot sauce and replaced it with tabasco. At the table next to us, one person had their food 10mins before the other two - that was awkward hearing them say how awkward it was Catie had her food. This place is already on a downward slope. Burgers were as dry and French fries were dry which means over cooked and sitting around. The only GOOD thing about this place is the lemonades. Although after 2 years it would be nice to see some new flavors. If your a foodie or on a 30min lunch or passing through town AVOID. IF you don't my bleh food. Hit this place up.
google avatar

GF T.

Yelp
We used to love BGood for their local ingredients and clean ingredients but our recent visit was very disappointing. The beef was dry, tough and half the size of the bun. It was so tiny. It only took 4 bite max and the rest are just buns. These are very expensive burger to taste this bad. Won't be going back. Their quality have gone downhill. They need to make changes or they'll be loosing customers for sure.

Cris T.

Yelp
Understanding we are in a post Covid world, short staffed and confusion in the supply chain... however I consider B.goods as a premium burger joint. Today I had the worst experience I have had at any restaurant in a long time. Out of key items, poorly trained staff, ants on countertops. But it was the culmination of all of it that makes me wish I had not placed my order. If you are going to give me a McDonalds experience then I expect a McDonalds price. If you are going to charge me a premium to get the wrong food, deal with unprofessional employees, limited food options (after I place my order and you have my money), and cleanliness issues - then maybe you should get your restaurant in order before you unlock the doors. They lost a long term customer for good today. Be-Better!

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch yesterday after a work retreat with a group of coworkers. We stopped after it was recommended by a coworker who miss understood another when they thought they were being told to Be Good, not try the restaurant. Haha I ordered a green chili burger and was surprised how flavorful it was. Despite being a little slow cooking our burgers my experience was great. I am definitely bringing my wife the next time we are in Portland

Yelp
Really disappointed in this location. I usually go to the one on Exchange Street but this one was on my way into work. I got the Oliver Burger and it was so dry. I ordered it as it comes with the addition of Gouda cheese and mayo/mustard. I didn't get the mayo/mustard which could've helped it be less dry. Regardless of that, the burger was very over cooked and hard. The bun was grilled on top which I thought made it look pretty but when I bit into it it was evident that they left it on the grill too long as it was almost like eating toast. I also got an order of their fries. Never thought I'd have a complaint about French fries, but these were also dry. It was weird. They seemed like they were cooked all the way through but somehow they were dry. Maybe I got an old batch? I did also pick up one of their Black Bean Brownies and it was delicious, as always. That was the only thing I actually finished eating. The rest I only picked at, and wound up just eating the veggies off the burger.

Yelp
For 3 years, my roommate and I (both from the Midwest) were looking for good burgers in Maine. And just our luck, as we finish our studies in Maine and are about to move out of Maine for good, we find this place. This place - even its focus on fresh veggies, healthy food, and local products, has the Best burgers in Maine. The meat is so fresh and juicy, and matches up to the quality of beef we are used to. The fries are also delicious. But even the "healthy" food is amazing. I was able to try a sampling of soups, along with a power bowl and some fruit smoothies, and nothing disappointed. And even their soft drink selection is fantastic! - a fine selection of Maine Root sodas and a few of their own drinks on tap. B.Good is an amazing place for those that want a juicy burger, for those that want to eat clean, and for everyone in between!

Yelp
I was intrigued by the marquee so I stopped thinking B. Good might be fabulous. My experience was simply meh. I ordered their Power Bowl for $10.00 which consists of an egg, some kale, slivered carrots, a brussel sprout and some mixed grains. The meal was healthy for sure yet could have more protein. Wouldn't rule out giving B. Good a try and deciding for yourself.

Yelp
I had the most amazing avocado and lime quinoa bowl here today! This place has something for everyone! My dad and brother got burgers and fries, my mom got spaghetti and meat balls, and I'm on a health kick so I got my quinoa bowl with kale. All of it was delicious!! Also it's incredible to have fast food that's largely sourced locally so you can feel good about what you're eating, especially the meat and bacon! I also had the kale smoothie and they let me order off the kids menu to get a smaller size for $3. The staff was incredibly nice and patient. I left my purse there today at about 4:30 and the staff kept it safe for me until I came back a half hour later to get it and was incredibly understanding. All around this is a very special franchise or a very special and exciting chain. I wish they had more locations in New York!

Yelp
Trying really hard to be both a local spot and a chain - - missing the mark. $10 falafel burger was uninspiring to say the least. Gluten-free bun was tasty though! Korean burger was satisfactory. Restaurant was clean and well organized, the staff was friendly. The piles of wilted dead vegetable matter in the farmhouse sinks combined with no produce from Maine gave the restaurant a chilling feeling of false hope. The "local food"" did not feature a single ingredient from Maine... We have Native Maine + Crown of Maine food distributors IN STATE. They can get you any kind of meat or vegetable sourced organically at the snap of your fingers... Please care for your plants, they look terribly sad. Compared to other fast food chains the food was very high-quality, though getting the price down a few dollars would help a lot. Spend less money on farmhouse sinks and fake distressed tables!

Yelp
I love that b.good has healthy options, and that is the reason I continue to go here. The grain bowls are very good especially the spicy avocado & lime. My issue is the size of the take out portions are very different from the size of the eat in portions. If you eat in you get a much better deal. Also, the consistency is different every time I have been. I had a free side a couple of times I went and chose the avocado, black bean & corn salsa, one time it came with a bunch of sauce and looked like a mess the next completely opposite. The prices can also be on the high side, but you pay for the quality of the products. If you download the app and make an account they upload free items frequently to the app (which helps with the cost).

Yelp
I had no clue that this was a food place until a friend recommended it. It's a super yummy healthy place to it! There fries are delicious and they do smoothies! Super yummy and highly recommend. They also have vegan options for those looking for that.

Yelp
We were passing through Portland around dinner time during a six hour drive and grateful to find this place to feed our family of four (me as a (mostly) vegetarian, and my two kids and my wife who avoids carbs) rather than stopping at Wendy's for the millionth time. I hadn't heard of B.Good before finding them on Yelp, and was excited to see a quick service joint with a wide range of menu options and high quality food. The experience didn't disappoint; my zuccinni bowl was delicious and more than filling; my wife enjoyed her burger, and my kids both enjoyed the burger and hot dog, though they both gave low marks to the fries. I tried a few and thought they looked better than they tasted, though I'd try them again. Other than the indifferent (though quite fast) service (typical hipsters who barely look at you when you're ordering), this will definitely be a place we'll stop at on road trips when passing through Maine and Mass.

Yelp
I love this place! My preference is usually the Exchange Street one in Portland -- it's just cozier and the central location is awesome -- but if I'm out near the mall, this is my go-to for a satisfying, healthy meal. Their rice and grain bowls are amazing (I always add tofu and a fried egg if it doesn't come with them!), their lemonade selection is delicious, they always have excellent sides, and the smoothies are to die for (especially the seasonal Lucy Blue!). So good!

Yelp
One of my favorite lunch spots! If you order from here frequently, make sure to download the app. I usually place an order 15 minutes prior picking it up and it's ready when I get there! Super easy! I also love getting free snacks and treats via the app! The ingredients are fresh and the combinations are tasty. I love the Spicy Avocado & Lime bowl and the Southwest Chicken salad. The burgers are also delicious. Today I tried the black bean brownie - AMAZING! Super rich and fudgy! Totally recommend.

Yelp
I love B.Good. I've only every ordered their veggie burger and fries (both sweet potato and regular), but I am always coming back for more on a regular basis. The facility is very clean, and you can watch your food be prepared. It is on the expensive side, but it is definitely worth the taste and freshness. B.Good makes their pickles homemade, and they are delicious. I'm stoked to try some of their salads and smoothies.

Yelp
Great menu full of Real food ingredients- whole plants- local fruits and veggies. My burger was cooked perfectly. You can taste the freshness of the food. I had the Westside Burger with Real Fries and a side shaved Brussels salad.

Yelp
I really really wanted to give this place more stars!!! But... First of all the staff is awesome! friendly, helpful, professional. I really appreciated their integrity. The atmosphere is fantastic, comfortable, playful, Great open space. Not so happy with the food though. Was totally disappointed with the size of the burger. barely 3 oz i think. But it did have a great flavor! The buns are huge, and maybe that is part of why the burger seemed so small. But it really was small... Here are the two things i have issues with... The speed of getting my food, and the french fries. The food took forever. Not sure why. I saw everyone in the kitchen hustling good, and the place was not that busy at all. I waited 20 minutes for a medium cooked burger. The fries....horrible... undercooked and mostly raw. I had sweet potato fries first and i could not eat them. I asked if I could get regular fries, which they generously did, and they were even worse. I love the idea of oven roasting them after they are fried, but they have to be cooked right, and these are not. They are raw, and some were a bit cold. But the regular fries really had a unpleasant aftertaste. No idea what that is about. I love the concept of this store and can see it spreading across the county, but get the basics down first. I may give this one more try, but for $14 for a burger, fries and drink, that is a hefty price to pay. Will see. Good luck.

Yelp
Squash soup which was a nice orange creamy texture on the website, literally looked like chunky applesauce and tasted awful Iced tea tasted like someone dumped a giant tub of Countrytime iced tea and lemonade mix.. it was completely undrinkable.. one sip actually made me MORE thirsty Kale salad I got was half filled with giant kale stems which should be in the trash. I'm talking sharpie marker size stems. I keep giving this b.good location second chances but they really need to learn how to make food. Edit: Got a salad today and it literally had avocado PEELS in it!!! like 4 BIG peels Edit: Went back today and got a sw chicken salad w tofu, asked if the dressing was already on the salad because they didn't give me any; she said yes, got back to work, no dressing.
