After leaving the mall, I thought that the name was interesting and decided to give it a shot. With my first steps in the door, it seemed a little bit overwhelming. They had nice tables, a nice fountain, condiments, and a pretty good menu selection to choose from. They have bowls, salads, burgers & sandwiches, smoothies, milkshakes, and sides. After deliberating for a few minutes, I ended up ordering a spicy avocado & lime bowl with quinoa for my mom with fries, and I got the burger with egg, avocado, and sweet potato fries.
While I was waiting for my food, I was trying the different drinks that they had. I have never heard of Maine Root being from the west coast so I tried everything. The drinks had a different taste compared to their commercial equivalent, but I liked it. Their Sir Kensington ketchup also tasted different that other ketchups I have had, but I also liked it. I was impressed even before the food hit the table.
The portion sizes were actually pretty decent, especially in the bowl. I was pretty good after eating my sandwich, but my mom didn't want her food, so I had to finish it for her. I was getting full at the very end of the bowl even though it was mostly vegetables and quinoa. The amount of fries that they gave us were enormous. I didn't complain one bit. I love sweet potato fries and they were cooked really well, nice and crispy. I loved my meal in its entirely and would love for a place like this to be in Las Vegas. Although it won't happen, I guess I'm going to have to wait for the next trip to New England.
