BGR Burgers Grilled Right

This was a very good hamburger. Though I asked for medium, it was medium well. Of course, degree of doneness is a challenge for any hamburger joint. Even so, the meat was flavorful. There was quite a bit of bacon on my bacon cheeseburger. The onion rings were also quite good. The shortfall was Pepsi products, which I do not prefer. I think the shock for me was one burger, order of onion rings, and fountain drink was $25.00.

BGR grills a pretty good burger, and offers a variety of specialty burgers to livin' things up... currently they're prepping a Korean style burger, complete with Kimchi and Sriracha. The struggle is with the cleanliness of the dining room and soda areas. We were there during an off-hour. There was only one other diner and three staff members. Food debris was scattered throughout the dining room, and the soda/utensil area was grungy and sticky. A cleaner common area would go along way to making this eatery part of our regular rotation.

The burgers are magnificent, just the way you order them. The fries and sweet potato fries are superb👌. I take my family and friends who visit me from abroad, and they always want to come back. I'm gluten-free, and almost no other restaurant has that option. The people who serve you are always attentive and smiling.

I ended up getting a combo. Why was it so greasy and the fries were damn near back in the bag before it hits the fryer. I went in to order that food before work so there was no excuse for cold fries. I think it was a truffle wagu burger because I never used that screen before so I got what I got but please put a turkey burger on the menu. All those hard pieces and one piece I couldn't even chew which was a turn off. Just do better

My first and last time eating from this place. My order was wrong, I got a regular burger not Waygu with no bacon and as you can see it is not well done which make it inedible for me. Also the fries were still hard in the middle. Suggestion dont order pick up or delivery since they dont make sure that the order is right. The food shouldn’t be so expensive if the quality and service dont match.

My wife and I usually have positive experiences with BGR, which makes writing this review unfortunate. We had placed a delivery order through the BGR app. Everything seemed to be fine with the food, although there was a missing item. We had asked the driver, who said that he was only given one shake (the driver also mentioned trying to contact us regarding the delivery, but we had received no messages). We reached out to the store, and spoke to the manager that said that they had given the driver the correct items and that "there was nothing they could do." I guess BGR uses Door Dash through their app, as they recommended we reach out to them, but we had no way or means of doing so because the app did not give us the option. The food that we did receive was delicious, although still a frustrating experience overall. The app could use a more efficient system that bridges the communication gap between the customer, store, and driver.

I went to myn1st BGR is Ft. Lauderdale on vacation with my family. We ate there a couple of times and we were saying, we wish we had in near us. Get home and there's one near us. Love the burgers and charred hot dogs. I like how they have seasonal sandwiches too. Great service as well.

Food is still decent, nice juicy burgers and good fries. However, the service has gotten so bad. The person who took my order was more interested in his phone than customer service, so my order came out wrong naturally. I ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries, 1 garlic fries, and 3 drunks. The manager was so defensive before I even said anything to her. She said, "You didn't even pay for 3rd fries. See, it's your receipt doesn't have 3rd fries. " At which point I just had to walk away because she's rude and loud for no reason. I'm disappointed, I definitely won't be coming here again 😒

What a surprise. This one shocked my wife and. Good price. Wish they had beer. Not fast food, eat slowly. The veggies were fresh. The Mojo Sauce got kind of lost in the noise but the burger was great. Really good fries. This place needs a beer but the sodas were fine. Have to recommend.

Juicy burgers! So many unique choices. I love the burgers of the month! This is my go to burger place in Columbia for a fast burger. I would love it if they brought back the Wild Boar burger for their burger of the month! That was delicious!

Love the food here. Just basic burgers with a bit of flair. I usually dine in because it's never too crowded plus it's a stopping point while running errands. The staff have been very helpful and pleasant when making suggestions and taking orders. My only complaint is the floor is always looking and feeling dirty. I went over the weekend around noon, and the entire floor was sticky and looked like it has residue. Idk how often they have to mop the floor but my guess would be either the mop and water is dirty or they're only cleaning every few days. The bathroom is usually decent so idk why there's a disconnect. Not enough to make me stop coming but I cringe sometimes when I walk in the door.

I ordered the western burger and it was delicious. The crispy onions were the highlight of the burger, I will definitely be back. I love the music decor. They have pictures of records and several musicians.

New burger spot for me. Glad I tried it. Was nearby shopping and got hungry. Looked around and saw this place. It was after the lunch rush, so it wasn't too busy. Katrina was very personable and helpful as I mentioned it was my first time and I wasn't familiar with the menu. I went with the create your own burger - wagyu truffle and a side of parmesan fries to go. It was delicious. I would say a bit on the pricier side, but it was tasty and filling. I plan to be back to try one of their shakes!

2 stars here might be a little brutal, but for the price of a burger fries and a drink ($20+), I expect better. My burger was fine, but really depressing given the price. The fries were very mid. I honestly can't say that this was twice as good as a Big Mac meal, and that's more than what it cost. McDonald's fries are better though. Otherwise, the staff was good but the floor was sticky. Will not return.

It's been more than 4 yrs since I've eaten from this location and my family and I were pleasantly surprised by how good the burgers still are. After Covid, many restaurants food prep has gone down, but not BGR. We ordered 4 burgers and 4 boxes of fries in advance so that they would be ready when I arrived. Everything tasted great and I feel like our burgers were worth the money. Yes, they were costly but worth it.

Very friendly customer service. My kids and I love the burgers they are the best around the area.

I ordered a cheeseburger medium well with additional toppings. It was sooo good. Very fresh, cooked perfectly. The staff was pleasant, they weren't aimlessly standing around, they were proactive, saw that I was waiting to order and helped me quickly. Way better than BurgerFi (local competition) when it comes to the food and attentiveness of the staff.

Service was friendly and quick. I ordered a Beyond Burger and made it a combo by adding fries and a drink. Some sticker shock as this burger/fries/drink meal added up to more than $23. (The $12.50 burger comes with no sides, nor cheese which is a buck more; fries and a drink amount to $6.75, and then there's the prompted tip and tax.) That said, the burger was excellent - juicy, with fresh toppings, and a delicious bun. The portion of the thick-cut fries was generous. The fries were relatively plain and tasteless but improved when I added salt and pepper. If you can get past the price (and this is true of most food places nowadays), you might get a very good lunch here.

These were the driest burgers I've ever had in my life. It's hard to go wrong with a burger, but these were like brown hockey pucks with pink in the middle. It looked like there was sauce, but we didn't taste any. Tater tots soggy. Onion rings tasteless. We didn't finish the food. Very very disappointing especially considering the price. Milkshake was good though!

What happened to this place? Used to be juicy burgers cooked to order piled with fresh toppings. Tonight we did 2 burger meals and they were disgusting. Dry, gray, thin, hard, cold, burnt patties. I was confused when picking them up from the counter as it looked like there were no toppings and there basically weren't. One sad piece of lettuce, sauces forgotten, two mini strips of onion on the western burger. Dry, cold bun. There want even ice for drinks. $40. Nope. Not again. Gross.

Great food honestly. For fast food that burger quality is amazing, one of the juiciest I've had. The fries are so crunchy and crispy I haven't had anything in Maryland like it yet, and the tater tots are to die for they are so well crisped. The flavor of the burger is good, I defiantly got a pretty plain one just getting the works so I'd have to try another. Cons: the hygiene is PRETTY bad here. The soda machine had gross goopy stuff hanging out of it from the Pepsi so that kind of turned off my appetite, looked like gunk build up just hanging from the spout so gross. I also got a hair in my fries which isn't nearly as bad, but a little gross to pick out the minute I got my order, luckily hair isn't really that unhygienic so I still ate fine with no issue but the pickles also tasted a little off, like a bitter aftertaste kind of like bad breath. Regardless would recommend if hygiene was a little better, maybe another location, but this one was pretty good.

This is Burgers Grilled Right (BGR) and it competes with BurgerFi which is located across the street in the other shopping plaza. I like the pretzel bun here and the burgers are indeed grilled to the correct temperature way more often than not. There isn't a ton of seating in here so it feels like they do a lot of takeout business. There isn't much more to say about this place other than good burgers and fries/sides. They have an impossible burger option and wagyu. You can go all out and customize a burger or try a signature. They have a couple options if you are trying to be green but this wouldn't be your first choice as a non meat eater. I think this place is a little less expensive than BurgerFi. Come in and find your favorite burger.

Had a cheeseburger and onion rings. It was delicious! Great flavor, cooked perfectly and the the toppings were fresh. Onion rings sweet and crispy - perfect!

I ordered a few burgers through grub hub on a Friday night and surprisingly got my order within 45mins. You can order your burger any way you like it - rare, medium, etc. However, I ordered a medium, a medium well, and a medium rare burger and all 3 were cooked to well done. They also forgot my toppings of mushrooms and mojo sauce. Wagyu burger: Eating this burger definitely made me feel healthier compared to other greasy ones. The wagyu burger is less greasy but the patty is smaller compared to the beef. Regular beef patty: this burger actually tasted better than the wagyu in my opinion. It was bigger and definitely juicer. Garlic Parmesan fries & tater tots: both were good but I still needed to air fry them at home to add that extra bit of crunch!

BGR never fails! Love the burgers and they're always cooked right. Customer service is always great and my food is always hot :)

Great burgers, great service! The lady ringing us up was new and learning, but the manager was there walking her through it and they were both very friendly. I had the wagyu truffle burger, it was pretty greasy and tasty which is exactly what I want. This place is a good combination of casual and high quality with a really good variety of burgers. Would go again!

My Beyond burger was the best! It had a good smoky flavor and fresh toppings. It was on time too!

2 beyond meat burgers with a side of asparagus and tater tots. Pretty simple meal. The wait can possibly get a bit long as a line begins to form and people carefully choose their toppings, but not too bad. The gluten free bun practically crumbled every time I took a bite (maybe the brand or was it stale?). I didn't feel like these were restaurant quality prepared burgers, but more in common with fast food. However, the total was $32 which doesn't quite align with what I ate.

This is my "GO TO" burger in the area. I know that everyone's got their favorite burger places around here . . . . and there are some really good ones, but you can't beat the signature Wellington for flavor. Be sure to grab some napkins though! They also offer limited time burgers which are pretty tasty. (But its difficult passing up on the chance to enjoy another Wellington.) Enjoy!

I often buy burgers and fries at BRG. I go the store in Columbia Maryland. They are delicious. Excellent service there and the people are very friendly.

These are just mediocre burgers, it shouldn't be called the burger joint. We ordered two turkey burgers, one with fries and the other with onion rings. We waited for about 10 minutes, not sure why, because our burgers were far from hot. The cheese was not melted, we asked for extra mayo, extra pickles, and extra fried onions, and barely received any additional toppings that we requested, not sure if they're on a budget. The receipt clearly stated extra condiments but somehow we ended up with dry burgers. Not only were the burgers on the cool side, the fries, and onion rings were lukewarm. As far as with the cleanliness of the place it's lacking. The tables were dirty, I had to use sanitizer to wipe down our table. Luckily, I carry a small bottle of Lysol, I sprayed down our table after we wiped it down. Unfortunately, I had to use the bathroom, the floors were sticky and disgusting, and it smelled horrible. I will stick with Five Guys, the burger joint is a no go for me.

This burger felt like it CHANGED my life. I couldn't be more serious when I say this is a place you absolutely have to try at least once. They have amazing prices and the quality will make you think you're robbing the place. Anyways, bless yourself today and go get a burger.

Teriyaki tuna is excellently prepared here. Combo of flavors is wonderful. My wife loves it. My burger great as well.

So much enjoyed this visit. We ordered 2 turkey burgers and they were incredible. Very nice juicy patties that were seasoned proper and very fresh. Love all the topping options and the crispy french fries and tots. Thanks so much. Stay awesome we'll be back.

First let me say that the staff here were very friendly and efficient. That said the experience was less than par. The burger is obviously a frozen paddy of low quality . The first one came out well done when I ordered rare. The second one came our uncooked and cold in the center. If you use frozen patties don't offer a temp option that can't be met. For more than $12 plus the price of fries the quality should at least match that of lower priced burger houses. The fries were good at least but one bite and I'm done with the burger. They will not get any of my business and I will not recommend them for anyone.

Deliciously flavored hefty burgers and tasty fries. Food is served hot and fresh. We order the pretzel, bacon cheeseburgers...yum, yum. I also tried a burger with just cheese and onion...no xtra seasoning needed.

Burgers and toppings were delicious. Topped with a real ripe tomato--I almost forget how good they taste. Everything on the order was correct. Ordered for carry out online and order completed quickly and accurately.

The triple D burger was made to perfection! Bacon was the best, egg was perfect, and the beef patty was tasty. Service was awesome and very friendly.

The burger I got at BGR was one of the best burgers I've had in a very long time. Maybe it had something to do with being cooked over an open flame. I chose to create my own burger. They ask how you want the burger cooked, so know that as you're ordering. My burger came out just as I ordered with all the toppings I requested. The bun was soft and the burger was really juicy and delicious. I also ordered the garlic parm fries. They were awesome!!! I highly recommend them. They weren't overcooked and were seasoned just right. I noticed they have sweet potato fries. Maybe I'll give them a try next time. The menu on the wall was a little "busy." It was hard to find the toppings because there were the standard as well as speciality toppings. So give yourself time to view the menu. I give kudos to the staff working this afternoon. They greeted me when I approached the window. There were only three people I could see and they were masked. One of the staff told me that he would "be right with me." I could clearly see that they were busy and told him to take their time. He replied, "Thank you ma'am. I appreciate it." He was so polite. He then came to the register and took my order. I'm sorry that I didn't get his name for this review. The restaurant itself was quiet when I came in. There was only one table being used indoors. Both tables outside were in use. There were three other parties that came in after I placed my order. Because the food is made to order, it will take a few extra minutes. Mine was ready in less than 10 minutes. This is not McDonald's nor Burger King I'll definitely be going back. If you want a juicy burger just as you like it, give BGR a try!

Juicy and rich burger with caramelized onions, lots of bacon, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and condiments. I am not even a burger person but this was delicious. Price was reasonable. Food was ready in a few minutes.

I was looking for a place to have a vegetarian meal and didn't want a salad. Stopped in here and was very happy that they had Beyond burgers. I did a Box Set with fries and a drink. The burger with cheddar, bbq sauce and grilled onions was delicious. The service was courteous and fast.

Love this place. The Wellington is my favorite but all the burgers are great. Best onion rings, too!

****2/1/2020**** 2.5 stars Let me start by saying I'm not a big fan of eating burgers when l go out however a friend told me they have really good burgers. Ordered takeout. My burger was meh. I expected more flavor. It was bland and the bottom bun was soggy. Maybe the soggy bun was because it was a to go order.

Quality food for the price! The Burgers are big, hot, and juicy! And the fries are cut thick and fried just right! The carry out option and online ordering is also a breeze! If you are looking for a great burger fast, you can't go wrong with BGR!

The burger was AMAZING!! The service was decent. The atmosphere was chill. The prices are unnecessarily HIGH!! For 3 burgers, fries and drinks my bill was nearly $50. When I showed the person my Yelp "thanks for checking in" coupon, he was 100% lost and had to ask for help. He told me he refunded the $6. I was charged full price. He claimed that he refunded me and that it would go back on my card. As of 8 days after the visit, no credit has been received?!?!

Good food for a good value! Ordered on the app and the meal was ready when I arrived.

My favorite burger place. Service is good. Burgers are obviously made to order so there will always be a wait but it's worth it. I really only care about the burgers themselves so I'm not rating anything else on their menu. For context, I also enjoy Red Robin and Five Guys but the latter was great before they doubled their prices and I don't always want to go to a sit-down restaurant for a burger.

Well we are always up for something new so we tried BGR in Columbia for the first time and unfortunately there will likely not be a repeat Bottom line: the value for the $$$ isn't there, there is nothing remarkable about the food, the restaurant, atmosphere or the service. I ordered the Wellington deluxe with garlic fries. My wife had pretzel burger deluxe with the garlic fries. Burgers alone were like $10. For the $4.99 deluxe upcharge you get a side and the soda fountain drink. So $30 altogether. Thank goodness I saw a $6 coupon on yelp for checking in. The buns were cold, the way they fry the fries makes them a little hard on the outside and the food itself was just bland. Service: no greeting or assistance. We said it was our first time there and they offered no advice and made no effort to do anything but charge us. Place seemed fairly clean but it was also not very busy even at lunch on a Saturday. Sorry guys, you are missing the mark. Red Robin, Shake shack, five guys has you beat in all categories at the moment. Not sure what you can do. Good luck.

I went on a Target run, and on my way home from Target, I saw a restaurant sign and my eyes lit up. BGR The Burger Joint. I had never eaten at BGR. But this is as good a time as any I thought, so I went in. I ordered what I normally order at burger places, the bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce. At BGR, this is the Western BBQ burger, a burger with bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, applewood bacon, and crips onion rings. I ordered my pattie medium well. Now, this was a GOOD burger. I asked for the crisp onion rings on the side. I'm glad I did. It was difficult enough to get one bite of the whole burger without the onion rings. Side note: the onion rings are really big wide onion rings. My burger was so tasty. The beef tastes fresh. The ingredients are high quality. The cheese was melted perfectly. The lettuce looked like the lettuce looks on a commercial. It was curly, and crisp. I had fresh tomatoes that covered the entire burger. I was so satisfied. The grill master's name is Evan. After I finished my burger, I told him that it was great. It really was. This burger made my day. It turned my frown into a smile. I look forward to returning for another burger. If you are looking for a great hamburger and see a BGR sign, be sure to stop. You will be satisfied too!
