BGR Grille - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation
"We appreciate a place that isn’t trying to be more than it is. In BRG Grille’s case, that’s a downtown East Point takeout spot where neighborhood folks leave with rice bowls, thick burgers, and containers stuffed to the brim with crispy flats and drums. If you’re going the rice bowl route, choose the grilled shrimp as your protein—they're plump, juicy, and soak up every bit of char-grilled flavor. That, plus a few generously portioned tacos, will always feel like a reliable way to feed a crew.
Food Rundown
All-American Double
The patties on this double burger taste like they were sizzling mere seconds before meeting the two buttery buns. Top it however you like—this is a solid order.
Shrimp Grill Mix
Not life-changing but definitely filling. Plump grilled shrimp come with vegetables like shredded cabbage, mushrooms, broccoli, and bell peppers, along with a garlicky-sweet house sauce on top of a huge portion of rice.
Lemon Pepper Wings
Your standard ATL flats and drums with plenty of citrusy-peppery spice. Just-fine when you want wings.
Smoked Salmon Philly
Between all that fish and the grilled peppers, mushrooms, and onions spilling out of the bread, this is a two-hander. A decent order when you want leftovers.
Chipotle Black Bean Tacos
Get this. Its smoky flavor blends nicely with the kick of heat. The flour tortilla is warm and pillowy with just enough chew, and the black beans are punched up with garlic." - Jacinta Howard
