"You’ll receive a warm welcome at this sumptuous restaurant, run by the third generation of a family who settled here from India 50 years ago. The menu is mostly southern Indian with some BBQ dishes from the tandoor representing the north. Save room for the indulgent chocolate samosa." - Michelin Inspector

Good Kerala food. We came a little late , but the staff were kind enough to find a table for us. Personally I liked Appam with stew-nice flavours and idly sambar was also good. Staff were pleasant and warm. Nearby street parking or paid parking.

I recently started ordering from here and I love the snacks. The samosa and idlis are the best I've had in UK. Premium packaging and prices are decent esp if there's a deliveroo offer. Wish the portion was bigger though.

Great visit to Bhoomi! Will definitely return when we come back to Oxford. Very reasonably priced, amazing flavours and large portions. We liked the music too and the service was perfect. We had a birthday in our party and they brought out a desert with a candle too which was a nice touch. Couldn't fault anything with Bhoomi and I'm not surprised at all about the good reviews I've seen. Looking forward to coming back

Excellent chef, the best Indian food I have had in Oxford. Flavours are fantastic, well balanced and with the right amount of spice and heat (but not too much). Service is gentle understated and attentive. Atmosphere is relaxed and conducive to conversation (no loud music or interruptions). I can't rate highly enough - this is a hidden gem.

This place is truly premium. A potential inclusion for the Michelin guide? We’ve been twice now & had the chicken stew and appam both times, and I have previously had the eggplant. Bhoomi Kitchen is attentive to every detail, down to the poppadom basket. The food is excellent & the service is wonderful. I have recommended to lots of my friends.

The food was incredible.....The depth of flavour in each and every dish was immense. The breads were home made and cooked fresh to perfection. Be prepared for a taste explosion. Service was very good too. Overall experience was superb. Would definitely recommend. Certainly not your average Indian Restaurant. Papu's attention to detail and customer engagement was also excellent. Try the King Cobras too, they accompany the culinary masterpieces admirably. Well Done Bhoomi 10/10

Beautifully crafted plates! Amazing staff and service. Although butter chicken needs a bit more flavour but still a 7 out of 10.

This is a great place for some genuine, well-made Indian food. Went for the Banquette set-menu which covers all the basis very well and definitely won’t leave you hungry for a long time. Friendly staff, and welcoming environment makes it a place definitely worth a visit if you’re in Oxford and fancy Indian food. - Value for money? Yes - Worth a detour? No - Best for (occasion)? An inexpensive feast - Would I go back? Yes
