A New Generation of Candy Shops Arrives in New York With Lil Sweet Treat | Eater NY
"Sammy Levin's anachronistic Biggie's Bodega in Chinatown blends vintage smoking goods and antiques with candy and odd sodas; inspired by Rhode Island antique shops, the store sells items like Stuckey's nuts and candies, Bonomo Turkish Taffy, vintage-wrapped Hershey's bars (the top seller), and Choward's violet gum, and draws both cool-kid teenagers and older locals—Levin values the community and the stories customers share." - Bettina Makalintal
Loved the breakfast sammies on buttermilk biscuits, iced coffee, kind service. Recommend. No photo but chill shop. Also a general store NYC bodega style with convenience store needs.

Friendly customer service. Wide selection of food for a quick bite if you don’t want to sit down. A little pricey, but so is everything else on the island.

The cheapest and best quality grocery store on the island 🏝️ 👏

Top notch egg sandwiches and really good coffee make Bodega a very welcome new addition to the island in my book!
There’s also any/every snack food you could dream up here, too, and super friendly staff.
Highly recommended!

What a joy - a classic convenience store that is open very late! Can't even count the number of times I've noticed that I forgot to pack toothpaste or pick up bottled water or maybe even some Pepcid AC, and they carry it all and so much more. And I can grab and go at 11:30pm. Staff could be a little friendlier I suppose but I'm not complaining.

It would be a sin to call it the 7-11 of Block Island but it is a great convenience store with breakfast sandwiches, Jamaican Pies which I would say are akin to an Empanada.

Only stocks the island’s most racist and disrespectful people. Nothing worth buying there just go to the grocery store.

Convenient but could have a better selection of items.
