Bi-Rite Cafe Review - Civic Center - San Francisco - The Infatuation
"If you work around Civic Center and really need a break from staring at the same email for the fourth read-over, take a half hour and go to Bi-Rite Cafe right in front of City Hall. This small outpost has a bunch of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice and a menu of things like sandwiches and salads to get you through the rest of the day. We like the barbecue chicken sandwich on a dutch crunch roll, and if it’s been an especially long day, they have soft serve that you can eat while you wait for your lunch." - Will Kamensky
My favorite little stop at civic center! The have a big menu. The desserts are my favorite especially the banana split. Beer and wine coming soon. Hopefully they have a big tap selection not just bottled beer.

The coffee prices have increased, and you can find more reasonably priced coffee nearby. Also, they now have 2 people that walk around and ensure people sitting at the tables outside are only customers. The people that were there when I went made me feel uncomfortable, and the welcoming vibe that the cafe once had was lost.

Amazing cafe and food. You can't beat the view of city hall and the warm Bi-Rite spirit!
Only feedback: I was disappointed you can hardly see the person at the register through the window screen. Bi-Rite has always done a great job of connecting shoppers and customers, but the bank teller style experience here misses the mark.

This place is absolutely amazing. I get the veggie sandwich and the ice cream every time. For the soft-serve ice cream, they have vanilla bean as well as a rotating seasonal flavor.

I had the vegan hippie sandwich and the green tea it was truly delicious. The view is really pretty it provides a lot of tables to sit and eat wich are cleaned regularly. Would go there again.

It’s so nice to have another food option in the civic center area. Their salad and sandwich options are affordable. The line does get long at lunch, but they’re pretty efficient. Plus SOFT SERVE!!!

Speedy service and tasty food. Also creates a lovely new cafe atmosphere for the Civic Center that it hasn't had before. Very excited for this in the neighborhood.

Nothing particularly noteworthy here
Service was probably about average. The brisket sandwich was acceptable, the brownie was terrible.
Note that their guest team followed up on this review... And did not get my name correct.
