"A beloved Revere Beach pizzeria that closed its original location in 2018, relocated and reopened, and then closed again in 2020, is reopening yet again, this time on a permanent basis. Bianchi’s Pizza will reopen sometime this spring at 381 Revere Beach Blvd., in the space formerly occupied by Renzo Pizzeria (and, for a time, Bianchi’s Pizza itself)." - Terrence Doyle

"Bianchi’s Pizza, a decades-old beachside pizzeria owned by the Bianchi family since the early 1950s, has temporarily closed. The pizzeria may move to a new permanent location on the ground floor of a future apartment complex at 320-327 Revere Beach Blvd. Meanwhile, Bianchi’s plans to operate temporarily at Renzo’s Pizzeria (381 Revere Beach Blvd.)." - Terrence Doyle

"Bianchi’s Pizza is known for its New York-style pizza with massive slices. One slice equals a quarter of a pizza, priced at about $3. The cheese is bubbly and slightly burnt, distinguishing it from decent pizzas. It's a cash-only establishment." - Terrence Doyle

Google
Very good cheese pizza. Only cheese available by the slice. Wish they had other options. Slices are large 1/4 pie

We had a large cheese pizza - it was a decent pizza but nothing to go out of the way for. They have a somewhat weird set up with the next door restaurant - you can sit at their tables you just have to buy a drink or food from them. Not a big deal - servers were very nice.

I have never been so appalled by the treatment my family and I experienced tonight by the African American server at the sand bar. I've been there a few times and normally have been treated with friendly faces and a wonderful experience. Today, after waiting 20 min for him to come to our table we ordered sodas for the kids and were cut off saying "I only have Pepsi and water and that is it!" So then I calmly asked for a Pepsi and water at which I was told "no! What else do you want to order!" At that point my sister and I decided to leave where we were yelled at "we dont need your service!" Other people in the restaurant were mumbling how rude he was. As we were leaving he was chasing us out of the restaurant yelling profanities. I cant understand how he can possibly have a job in customer service. It was truly ridiculous and everyone should know how bad the treatment was.

Stopped in for a few drinks while we were walking back to the train and had a great time. We didn't have any food, but everything looked/smelled delicious, and the vibe was super fun and laid back. Our bartender stephanie took awesome care of us and made us the best green tea shots since we've been here (and also knew what a daiquiri was lol). If you wanna chill, have some drinks and look at the ocean, this place is great!

Google
Tried the pizza got cheese pizza and it was so good! Crunchy and hot, a bit of oil dripping down, just like I like it. Great taste to the crust, excellent pizza will definitely make the drive to get again!!! It’s right on the beach, so a very busy spot and the bar attached had a live band. Fun atmosphere!

My sister and I brought our 4 children for dinner. It took the waiter 20 minutes to greet us. He came to the table (didn’t introduce himself so I don’t know his name, but was an African American man) and said what do yall want to drink. We gave our order of a seltzer (and he shook his head) and asked for a soda for one child. He then said all I have is Pepsi for sodas and that is IT!! So we said okay. That works. I ordered 2 waters for my children and he cut me off and said I told you we only have Pepsi!!!! And I said okay kiddos let’s go (because he was so mean). We were leaving and he screamed at us all the way out of the restaurant. I gave him a thumbs up and he said real classy for giving me the finger!!!! This guy is off the hinges. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone especially anyone with young children to witness this behavior. STAY AWAY!

Google
AWESOME food but lousy service. We went there May 1st. THE GREAT…the food was amazing. We got chicken parm and it was incredible! The views were excellent! THE BAD…the service. We sat down at 4pm. There was a female waitress. We waited 15 minutes and the waitress never said hi or acknowledged us so we took off. The restaurant we went to was closed so we came back. We waited another 15 minutes and the waitresses NEVER came to our area. Thankfully the bartender saw we weren’t getting served and came to take our drink order. He said he normally didn’t take food orders but he graciously took ours. The food came out and was delicious! The only time our waitress came to our table was to give us the check. She never refilled my drink, checked on us, or anything. We normally tip 30% but I gave this waitress 15% for bringing me the bill. As horrible as the service was the food and views were amazing and we will come back. Hopefully there will be someone else other than her there to serve us.

I have been going to Bianchis for years and I drive from Danvers but I have to say this was my last time. Their pizza is my favorite but NOT for $20 for a cheese pizza. That is nothing but absolute greed and you should be ashamed of yourself! I might have separation anxiety but so long, it was nice while it lasted!!!

Chris L.

Yelp
The absolute BEST pizza that I have ever had and I have been living in and around Boston for over 30 years, and Boston is known for having some of the best pizza in the world, alongside of NY. Bianchi's beats any Boston or NY pizza that I have ever tasted, hands down! Bianchi's is a must try; I guarantee that you won't be disappointed!!!

Lynne R.

Yelp
Bianchi''s Pizza was always my NUMBER 1 place for pizza. My Birthday is in August and of all the places I could go, I choose here. Today was not my birthday but we went to the beach and popped in. It was a big disappointment. I can't be sure but the pizza appeared to be "reheated" it was dry and super crunchy. Not at all like their usual delicious gooey cheese and soft thin crust dripping in oil. I ordered a margarita no salt, I never requested a top shelf tequila but when the bill came it said ; $10.00 margarita $2.00 -Top Gold tequila 1 Margarita 1 wine 1pepsi Came to $30.00 Not counting the $17.00 cheese pizza. We paid and didn't complain although I really wish I did. Other places will ask what tequila you want. I am not picky. The cheap is ok. I'm only having one and we even tipped 20% I'm bummed and will give them another chance because I hate to think they don't care about quality or customer service anymore.

Yelp
Their pizza is out of this world!!! The restaurant's clean and cozy and on Revere Beach. The service is impeccable. The prices are very reasonable and the Italian food is delicious. :)

Wayne A.

Yelp
When in a ordered a pizza... Was told the price . Paid the price...the person behind the counter. Took my money.... Put it in the register turned his back. Never once offered me my change .pizza was extremely small in size...

YoursTruly B.

Yelp
Workers refused to acknowledge me while Im waving and flashing my phone to simply have them hand me the order I paid for even though its 6 minutes passed closing??? meanwhile theres people chugging down liquor at the bar? This is a place for the withered meaning ugly people. If you want sharp top notch respectable service don't come here all they care about is serving booze. Let them go stupid as they drink so the business can finally crumble with them. A woman that has a white 2010 Chevrolet Malibu be on the look out for that woman because she could have ties with the owner or possibly be the owner. Saw me, gave me a thumbs up and decided to not give me the order I paid for.

Sharon M.

Yelp
Bianchi puts many of the pizzas in my life to shame. MY GOODNESS DELICIOUS! Fun sitting outside on a beautiful fall day. Attention from the crew working tables spot on, and a mean martini in the mix. It's a haul from Norwood to get here but we'll be back!

Eve R.

Yelp
I've been eating Bianchis pizza for years but I've noticed that it's has gone down hill. Last few times I've gone the pizza has been gross, but I always say let's eat it again, maybe it's different this time and it's not. Flavorless, super greasy and the cheese was bland and soupy.

Linda S.

Yelp
Bianchi's Pizza is always great. My first slice of their pizza was probably 50+ years ago. Always my favorite.

Meg B.

Yelp
The pizza is delicious, interesting setup with the bar being a separate establishment with their own kitchen which offers a solid menu. Friendly energetic staff with nice ambiance and good music. Right on the beach with oceanview.

dan w.

Yelp
No longer cheap (7+ bucks for a slice and soda.) But still good and gooey. Better to fold it than eat it end to end. Don't upset the rather surly older gentleman with the stringy gray hair. Even at best, he is incapable of smiling, but may sneer. And please DO NOT ask for pineapple or buffalo chicken toppings. You could get some serious attitude.

Lea L.

Yelp
4 pm on a Sunday, they had a couple customers but not many. We asked if we could be seated outside since we had our dog with us, the lady told us we could and directs us to a specific table far from the doors. Which we were fine with. Even if she had told us no, we would have been fine and gone next door, no pressures on our end. Within 2 minutes of seating down, the server comes by and is about to drop of menus. That's when the lady comes back telling us we have to leave since our dog was misbehaving. The server and both of us were confused as nothing had happened. The server even tried to tell the lady she was in the wrong. She seemed drunk and delusional. I've never experienced this before. Couldn't tell you what the food or drinks are like but based on other reviews, we didn't miss on anything.

TJ N.

Yelp
I haven't been here since they were at the other location, and backdated to maybe the late '80s. That said, I showed up at 11:00 a.m. and got the first pizza out of the oven! I have to say after my first bite it tasted exactly like I remembered, and that is a powerful, long-term flavor memory. The cheese that they use has a certain saltiness, and the sauce is on point. The crust was almost a perfect chew. I like a place that keeps it as basic as possible and they have three different varieties of pizzas all an extension of the same theme. The only slight ding was that my pizza was $17, and my feeling is that if it were $15 it would seem more appropriate. But it was worth that extra $2 for all the memories their pie brought back.

Eric K.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink as it was a crisp sunny day on the beach. Francis was a great bartender. Her attention to detail really resonated with us. We will go back, great place and atmosphere. Live music!! The oysters were fresh and absolutely delicious! Must try the cucumber mignonette sauce.

Jeff B.

Yelp
This is by far the best pizza in revere and one of the best pizzas I have had in a while and that includes Pepe's which I contend is not as good.

Neil P.

Yelp
Pizza three stars. Everything else - NEGATIVE 5 stars. Save your money, do not go to this place. It's a joke. You have to order the pizza next door and serve yourself. If you want something in the restaurant, good luck getting a waiter to serve you in a timely fashion. The guy working on the pizza side actually apologized to me a couple times for the post service on the restaraunt side. The restaraunt workers seem to be , very non-attentive and too busy to follow up. We went on a very quiet night but the service and the attitude of the workers was rude. They didn't want to be bothered serving , hosting or talking to us. Bianchi's should move to a new location and not be stuck with these incompetent people.

Lester W.

Yelp
What a bummer! Food was underwhelming, bar was out of beer on tab, chef had to redo a lot of orders that came out wrong. Also, is it necessary for a bowl of candy on the bar? Meh...meh...meh.

Peter A.

Yelp
I remember come to bianchis when it was its own places as a kid and the pizza was amazing. From the move to renzos and to sand bar idk what happened. Sand bar is its own bad review, but what's going on with bianchis, you have to serve yourself the pizza when it's ready and my god the pizza I got looks like they dumped a whole bottle of olive oil on it. The vide of sand bar also ruins it, rude slow service doesn't help bianchis look.

peter c.

Yelp
pizza is good but 20 dollars for a F pizza. sorry no need for jumping to 20 i'm not going back for that reason it took them forever to give me the bill

Gail S.

Yelp
I have been going to Bianchi's pizza since high school! The pizza isn't the same! The sauce isn't the same and the dough isn't the same! I asked them to make it crispy but not burnt! It was all burnt underneath! The sauce used to be red made with whole plum tomato sauce. Now it's that orange cream sauce. The crust used to be thin but the edge used to be with air pockets and soft! This wasn't what I remember and it was awful!

Becky K.

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid. Back in the late 90's. Before they moved locations. When they were taken in by Renzo's. All the way to yesterday. Their pizza is great, their customer service is the absolute worst. The cook behind the counter is one of the rudest people I've ever met. I went in twice, once to place the order, the second time to pick up. Both times he was incredibly rude, degrading, and flat out mean. I get that it was busy. I understand that people have bad days. But you could see that this person truly was having fun with how rude they were Lifelong customer, but I won't be coming back. I hate to let one bad experience do this. But I truly don't ever want to encounter that man again. Bill Ash is right down the street. Will be taking my business there

Jose B.

Yelp
Finally had a cheese slice from this iconic Pizza Shop on Revere Beach and I must say it lives up to the hype.

Glenn C.

Yelp
So it's a little weird the relationship between the restaurant/Bar side and the Pizza side but here's the the short side of it is if you are going to eat at the restaurant, buy some appetizers and some drinks to make it worth their while, tip well and it's all good- The waitstaff was wonderful, he pizza was as good as ever and the appetizers were better than I expected!

Dean N.

Yelp
No need to do business with an establishment that treats you like you're lucky to spend your money there. Pizza is a 2 - soupy in the middle but edible, everything else is a 1. They used to be great. Oh well.

Mitchell S.

Yelp
Old school Boston pizza what can I say it never disappoints and has been the same since 30 years the new location is pumping out the same pies the old location down the street did a go to slice if your in the area

James P.

Yelp
Best pizza in America Period I'm a pizza connoisseur and have tried many times to see if there was a better one haven't found one yet

Laura L.

Yelp
Great spot for a late night slice. We showed up and the place was HOPPING. People dancing, music playing. Went in the left side and spoke to the pie man, who hooked us up right quick. ready in a flash and delicious. No photo - it was gonein a flash!

John D.

Yelp
Guy taking pizza orders in the front seems like he hates his job but only if he has to attend to non white people. Sassy and Rude. The actual server inside the restaurant however was very helpful and enthusiastic.

Kathleen G.

Yelp
I was visiting in Revere and had been walking by this place every day. Finally decided to stop in and try the pizza. I had the cheese, garlic and olive combination. I guess there was garlic on it. I couldn't tell by taste. It possibly was nuked to death because the cheese had gone past the melt stage and straight into liquification. I took it out to one of the beach pavilions to try to eat it, but the toppings kept slip-sliding off the base. The seagulls, however, liked the crust of the one slice I did manage to eat. After it sat in my refrigerator for a few days, it was somewhat edible.

Claire N.

Yelp
Older bartender with the Karen haircut had us stand in the tiny ass lobby while we waited for takeout Lmao "if you aren't drinking you can't sit" I'm pregnant and my husband has a terrible back. The place was pretty much empty. Thx for nothing lady. Work on your guest service.

Patti B.

Yelp
Nothing like it used to be. Sauce was VERY sweet. Almost too sweet. Cheese had no flavor. Had my dog with me and she loves pizza. Should would not even try it. She kept spitting it out. Soooo bummed.

Frank M.

Yelp
After a 70 year loyalty to this icon on Revere Beach it's time to admit that this pizza really doesn't deserve your patronage. Sauce has no flavor, cheese is like chewing bubble gum. Crust was burnt. Two slices killed a $10.00 bill. The guy running the shop has no personality. Miserable experience. Save your money and go down the street to Nick's Place and enjoy a flavorful meal. Oh yeah, two slices and one and a half went into the trash barrel!

Diane H.

Yelp
The pizza is pretty good here. When you order a whole pizza, you wait about 12 minutes and it's so fresh and piping hot that maybe you, like me will get way too excited to eat it and end up burning the roof of your mouth! I reheated the pizza a few days later and it was just as good and again, burned! I ordered a double thick sausage pizza and the sausage was amazing! I wish they gave more, but if I come again before they close, I'll definitely do pepperoni + sausage so I have enough meat! The bottom is kind of hard, mostly the part towards the crust so I don't end up eating it. The cheese will slide off when you grab a piece so be very careful! I didn't really find any of the workers rude, they were "gruff"? Is that a thing? They are just there to get you the pizza so who cares. Bring cash- ask for napkins and plates if you plan to sit near the beach to eat!

Ian H.

Yelp
I recently moved back to the Northeast from Los Angeles, where I lived for the last 23 years. The whole time in LA I searched for real pizza. This pizza. This is what I wanted. This is what I missed about east coast pizza. This is the best pizza I have had in a long time, and I have been on a pizza eating marathon this last month since my return. And now the bar has been raised even higher.

Chris S.

Yelp
I swear it's not the same as it used to be at the old spot. I feel like they no longer put an emphasis on the slices which made them what they are. The pizza was cold and not good. Service was equally not good. It was edible and the size was ok for the price. But still. Nah.

Janssen M.

Yelp
Inattentive waitstaff ignored party, charged me for a pitcher of beer when we'd ordered a pitcher of soda. Pizza came out of the oven drenched in so much grease the cheese slid right off the first few slices. Layout is convoluted where pizza restaurant is a separate entity from the restaurant itself..

Stephen Z.

Yelp
A MUST DO! 4 & 1/2 Stars. THIS IS CLASSIC OLD SCHOOL ITALIAN BOSTON PIZZA! YOU CAN GET IT BY THE SLICE OR ORDER A WHOLE PIE. Bianchi's Pizza is a family owned business & has been in the same location on Revere Beach since 1953. Cash Only! You order your pizza & you can sit on the wall across the street right on Revere Beach & look out onto the ocean. There is also a pavilion with a roof structure a little ways down with tables & benches as well. It used to be, you had to have mega bucks & be really rich to have the Good Life, not anymore. The Game has changed. You've been Upgraded. Now You Can Live Like a King on a Limited Budget!

Gregory S.

Yelp
Although I really liked the old-school kinds of oily pizza that they make (a little on the expensive side at $19 for a basic pizza), there are some caveats to dining here. Firstly, apparently there is some kind of political war going on between two half's of the restaurant. The pizzaria half can sell you pizza, but not any drinks, if you sit down. But they can sell you drinks if you take out. The other side with a standard restaurant and a bar, well who knows, as we never got the waitress to even look at us, never mind take an order. It's weird and they need to figure it out before I ever plan to return. No pizza is that good, and who knows about the other food. Location on Revere Beach is pleasant.

Andrea G.

Yelp
The set up is not ideal... to sit down and eat at least. You have to order the pizza in the front, like how it used to be before renzo's. When you want drinks or apps you sit down at a table and a server comes to you; only for drinks and apps though, no pizza. Only came here because my boyfriend has never been and wanted to try. Honestly the pizza is overrated; greasy like more average pizza shops Got drinks and they weren't even good. Got a hurricane which didn't taste like any of the juices, just straight up alcohol, which don't get me wrong, I love a heavy handed bartender, but nothing to distract me from the alcohol taste. Also got a vodka/lemonade, which wasn't great. Weird because it's such an easy drink.

Donna D.

Yelp
Best pizza on the East Coast or actually any place in the United States. Whenever I get back to Revere they are always my first stop. The pizza taste the same today as it did when I was a kid. I only wish they delivered cross country. See you next time I'm in town Bianchi's!

Andrew P.

Yelp
Met friends for lunch last week--our server, Donald, was 5 Stars--fabulous, quick, informative, charming, knowledgeable about the menu and gracious. Will return soon!!!

Stephen S.

Yelp
Yep. It ain't the same. I sure do miss the old days , and the original location. Bianchi's was the best around. Very sad

Kathy T.

Yelp
I've been going to Bianchi's since I was a teenager. I love their pizza. I live closer to there now and probably eat it more than I should. It's still the best pizza in town

Dimas L.

Yelp
The food was good like one of the most good pizza I have tried but they also had extremely mean customer service and they took like about 1 hour and 30 minutes and by that point I was so hungry and when I tried it it was cold I waited all that time for just cold pizza

Brenda L.

Yelp
Nothing like to original. The ordering process is infuriating and the dough is old. The workers don't sweep the oven regularly so your pizza will look like it was cooked on charcoal and cornmeal. Don't bother.

Jill N.

Yelp
Idk... past 2 times the pizza hasn't been great. Today it was terrible. Not all the cheese is melted and crust tastes like dough. 2 stars instead of 1 bc 3 pizzas ago was amazing. Idk, inconsistent I guess. The guy was pretty rude to me today. Maybe he's just not in a pizza making mood. Update: actually took the pizza back bc I live nearby. They made it right by giving me a new pie and it was perfect!!! Idk what happened the past 2 times but this time was just like the pie I got there. To me, a basic cheese pizza is a thing of beauty... and this is one delicious, basic pizza. Thanks guys!!!!

Alex O.

Yelp
I'm going to start off by saying the location is right across from the beach with outdoor seating , awesome staff and the food is just out of this world! Price point is just right , not expensive at all. Especially for what you are getting . I ordered pizza, salad and pasta. Everything was great , the only issue I had was parking . Not really the restaurant's problem but thought I mention it .

Maria T.

Yelp
No complaints at all! i'm visiting from Texas with my boyfriend and we were craving some good pizza and we were SO HAPPY we chose this spot! if you're looking for a good brick oven brooklyn style pizza this is your spot! we will definitely be coming back out next visit.

Katie D.

Yelp
Pizza place on the beach. That's the draw. I grabbed a slice here yesterday while visiting the Sandcastle festival. 3 bucks. Cash only which is irritating. They have a sign up that says We need ones and fives. Ok. So your cash only but aren't prepared to give change? I got 1 slice which is 1/4 of a pizza. It wasn't bad. The sauce was a bit too sweet for me though and the crust a little bit bigger than I like too. When I picked it up half of the cheese slid off and dropped into my plate. Boohoo. I wouldn't be opposed to going again but it's definitely not on a list of places I'd run back to.

I P.

Yelp
I'm guessing there are new owners. Not like the old Bianchies. My uncle took us there years ago and it was consistent. Good char...everything was just right. Went the summer of 2021 to new location. I won't say it's terrible pizza, but nothing like the old place. It's a boring pie now. They changed something. I'll give it one more go when I'm in the area.
