I am a regular customer here at Bianco Nero Gelato. They have a variety of flavors that you would definitely enjoy. Me and my friends always hangs out in Englewood NJ location and it’s the best place to go to in all occasions. From the taste to it’s packaging is an absolute beauty!! They also have gelatos for your fur babies, one of my favorite! And the staff are very welcoming and always make you feel like family!! Pls pay a visit if you’re in the area, you would loveeeeeeeee it!!!

Good place to get gelato around for the Palisade area, I really enjoy their Dubai chocolate which is something I feel not many other places have. Overall, while it was not the best gelato I’ve ever had, but my experience here was pretty good, the places great for dining or even outdoor seating. Good neighborhood to walk around too. I’d come back.

My friend recommended here and I was surprised with their Gelato flavors. We had Dubai chocolate, hazelnut chocolate, and melon sorbet. I'm definitely coming back 🥰

This is probably my go-to gelato place in town. I don’t know too many other options around here, but what they serve is always very tasty. The shop has a clean, modern interior design and the gelatos always look fresh and pretty. This time I got the mint chocolate and peanut butter chocolate, and my wife had the passionfruit and chocolate raspberry flavor—everything we tried was delicious. Solid spot for gelato, definitely worth coming back to!

While the folks behind the counter doled out generous samples, I felt like I was in the Wonka factory, trying edible wallpaper and exclaiming,“Strawberries really taste like strawberries, and the snozzberries really taste like snozzberries!” To wit, my husband's choice of Biscoff gelato tasted exactly like the buttery tea biscuits, down to the crumbly texture (thanks to the bits of actual Biscoff cookies in it). Dubai chocolate has been everywhere, and I chose to take its virality by the horns by getting it in gelato form. This, too, was close to the real thing in taste and texture, down to the kadayif shreds. To top things off, presentation is sweet. Our two scoops came with a whole Biscoff cookie (as if we really needed an extra reminder of what we were having!) and a teeny tiny cone. We took great glee in making ourselves a doll-sized ice cream cone which somehow tasted even better. Small touches such as these can make such a fun difference. When it comes to dessert spots, I believe ambiance is everything. With a decorative gelato cart, happy mood lighting, and charming wickered seats in both indoor and outdoor spaces, Bianco Nero screams 'date night' in spades.

This gelato place is absolutely amazing!!! A great variety of flavors, all of them so creamy and delicious. My favorites are dulce de leche and the coconut, but honestly every time I came love to try new flavors. The atmosphere it’s beautiful and the service of the employee is amazing too. Good portion for the price. Definitely 💯 recommend!

What a gem in the heart of Englewood. The gelato here is on another level, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. You can tell everything's made with care and high-quality ingredients. I had the dark chocolate and pistachio combo, and both were excellent. The vibe is classy but still relaxed, perfect spot for a date night or to bring the family. The place is spotless, beautifully designed, and the display of flavors alone makes you want to try them all. Service was top-notch too, friendly, patient, and welcoming. You really feel like they appreciate every customer. If you're in Bergen County and looking for a spot that delivers great food, great ambiance, and excellent service, Bianco Nero is the move. Highly recommend.

The perfect little ice cream shop! Everything is tasty, creamy, and full of flavor--exactly what you want on a hot day. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and it really hits the spot when you're craving a treat. Just a heads-up: the line can get pretty long in the summer (because it's that good!), but it moves along and is totally worth the wait. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots for ice cream!

Fabulous place with fresh ingredients, friendly servers and indoor and outdoor seating. My son has been asking to try this place but I try to be healthy, therefore. refrained for as long as I could. Finally gave in and oh what a treat!! Now I'm totally hooked!! A must try!

Considering that I've been coming here every weekend since I've discovered this place, I must say that is my favorite gelato spot! Aside from the gelato, the ladies behind the counter always welcoming. They've always helpful me pick out which flavor I want to try and have. I love hearing which ones are their favorites. They have so many flavors- it's so hard to choose which ones to get! My favorite will have to be the Ferrero Rocher - it's creamy, flavorful, very high quality. I have also tried the Dubai chocolate and the Oreo one- both very delicious flavors. If there's one thing about these flavors is that they taste exactly as you expect and even better. They all come with a little waffle that says Bianca Nero on it. For photo purposes, this place knows how to make their location and gelato look cute! You truly can't beat this gelato. It is a bit pricey for small cup but the flavors and quality and definitely worth it!

'Tis the season for cold treats! Bianco Nero Gelato has been a popular dessert destination on Englewood's Palisades Ave since 2021. Every single time that I pass by this store, I see a line out the door. I've been here multiple times and it's definitely worth a visit. There's plenty of street parking nearby. Everything about this gelateria is photo-worthy. From the interior design to the presentation of the gelato itself... get your cameras ready! The interior is reminiscent of European cafes, with a very elegant feel. They have ceramic floor tiles, wicker chairs, marble top tables, a gelato cart, and a golden + black color scheme. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but it can be difficult to snag a seat since they're so busy. As for the gelato... They take pride in serving artisanal and authentic Italian gelato. There are so many flavors here that you'll go insane wanting to try everything. They have your classic flavors as well as a lot of unique and creative combinations. They occasionally add new ones to the rotation. Some of my favorites are the cotton candy, passion fruit sorbet, and s'mores. Everything tastes exactly how they're supposed to taste! The texture is smooth, dense, and creamy with rich, intense flavors. The employees are always friendly and work efficiently while handling a large crowd. You can sample as many flavors as you want. You can choose to have it in a cup or cone (small, medium, large). A small is one scoop and a medium is two scoops. Decorated cones are an extra charge. Additionally, they also serve coffee, shakes, Belgian waffles, and gelato for dogs. The only downside is the price. The smallest cup is already $8... but you have to treat yourself once in awhile ;) This is a must try in the area - bring your date, friends, family... Get some scoops of gelato and eat it fast because it melts quickly!

Bianco Nero is the best gelato place in northern New Jersey. Full stop. Gelato holds a special place in my heart and sadly, there aren't lots of places in New Jersey that do it right. However, Bianco Nero is not one of those places. This gelato place is an absolute must try. The establishment is elegantly set up and it definitely gives a high end sweets vibe. The only negative about the set up is that when there's a line, it can be difficult to see all of the flavors before you arrive at the counter. However, the people there are extremely helpful so it really is a very small hitch. There is a flavor for every taste, and your only disappointment will be that you can't have them all, they are all so delicious. There's also milkshakes and coffee on the menu, but I have not tasted these as I always go specifically for the gelato. My favorite part is that they give you a cone wafer with every gelato in a cup which is great because I usually want a little taste of the cone without fully committing to the whole cone. All in all, you should definitely give this place a try if you're able puns the area. You will not be disappointed.

Can't improve upon perhaps the most delicious gelato or more broadly, chilled dessert, I've ever had. The selection is vast, decor is attractive, staff is efficient too. No wonder lines form out the door on most weekend nights.

Walked in on a Wednesday night around 8, reasonable line. Gave us an opportunity to look at the gleaming case filled with awesome gelato choices. Shop itself is gorgeous, with nice tables inside and out. My friend enjoyed an espresso gelato and I enjoyed an Amerena straciatella gelato. High quality!

After work I needed something sweet and fancy I deserved it !!! Stopped at Bianco Nero for a waffle cone of their exquisite ALMOND COCONUT flavor ...yummmyyy yum If you want to try a flavor, the employees can give you a sample. Today I was helped by Lindsay ( she was so patient with me in any question) and she gave me a sample and said that Pistachio, Pistachio w/ chocolate and Bischoff Butter Cookies are very popular -one cone with one scoop is $8.00dlls I enjoy to have a good time trying a delicious Gelato in a cone or a waffle in A Cool Decorated spot like this Today was so quiet. Low noise (7:30pm); Tuesday in November before Thanksgiving... Bianco Nero has coffee, chocolate , gelato shakes or waffles in its Menu. Always happy to get here! Thank you Guys

I have been here several times and the gelato is pretty good! Always has a texture and never tastes old or like the temperature is off on the freezer. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like the gelato here is sweeter than others I have tried. Not the best gelato I ever had but it's good and worth coming back! My favorite flavor is the hazelnut. I wish they had more of the toppings throughout the gelato and not just on top. I have not tried the coffee, espresso, or hot chocolate yet. Wish they had a white hot chocolate. Lots of fun options not just for gelato but waffles, cones with cookies and other fun toppings. The service good too. The place is nice inside and clean. You can tell it's fairly new. The decor is really nice, fancy. It's also in a great area to walk around or have dinner before or even a show at the Bergen PAC center.

Great gelato place in downtown Englewood. Love to stop by after a show at the Bergen PAC or just for a special treat. Lovely interior with small tables and chairs, good service with samples available to taste the different gelato flavors, and absolutely delicious gelato. Street parking is available. There can be a line for the gelayo, but it is worth it!

One of the best mango sorbet I've ever had. The flavor is so rich. I ordered a small but they hook you up with two scoops so I almost couldn't finish the whole thing. Next time I will come back to try the other chocolate flavors!

A solid gelato place. I've went here a couple times as a treat. The gelato is definitely a few extra bucks but they have a variety of flavors that are all delicious. This time I tried their mocha coffee crisp shake and it was great but it had a thinner consistency then what I expected. Based of past experiences, I would say the cups/cones are better then the shakes but I would have to try more to know for sure. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and the music only adds to it! The service is friendly and patient. It can definitely get busy at times as its in a great location downtown. This is a place I would go back to and recommend but only every once in a while.

This place is amazing!! Everything tastes so good! The chocolate gelato is super rich. I was bummed that they brought out the Italian cookie gelato when we were leaving. It's a bit pricey with a small starting at $9 and you can only get one flavor with a small. There are several tables inside and outside for you to enjoy your gelato at.

Today's Summer heat definitely helped having gelato. We walked into Bianco Nero Gelato, looked through a variety of artisanal gelato. You can try a sample if you're curious. Ordered a medium cup. A medium cup comes with two flavors. In one cup, I had the Mallabi Rosewater and Amalfi Lemon Crunch. The other medium cup had the Blueberry Creme Brùlee and Kalva Pistachio. My cup had a great combination of sweet and sour. The Amalfi Lemon Crunch was delicious with the semi sweet Mallabi Rosewater - I'm glad it worked out the way it did. The prices are expensive. However, I'd come back here once in a while because the flavors were fresh and homemade. I noticed the displays were a little empty when picking flavors. I'm not sure if it's common for the store to have it displayed, I recommend next time to fill in with more flavors. Street parking is available, seating inside and outside, the establishment is fairly large. The decor is beautiful. You feel comfortable and serene having your gelato and having conversation. Staff was friendly, and all forms of payment are accepted. Located by a busy intersection, just be mindful crossing or driving by. Will be back in Englewood soon to try other flavors!

Top gelato place in the area hands down! They have such a wide variety of flavors and its nice that they let you try a few options. Perfect mixture of sweet & creamy. I ordered the biscoff cookie and my wife ordered the expresso stratacella. We went the following day bringing friends! Such a great place!

I should really give 1/2 star I ask for a to go cup . I specifically ask if the cups have secure lids . By the time I got home which was less than 10 minutes . the gelato was all over the bag and the lid completely came off. What a waste of money .

got biscoff and ferrero chocolate flavor gelato and it was GOOD! The flavor matches exactly with its name. The taste is super rich and creamy and the texture is super smooth. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The store has a super cute look, it was a great place to sit and chat with my friends. However, I did find it to be too sweet for my taste and a tad pricey.

Oh my lord! This spot has some delicious stuff! I tasted several different flavors and everyone was so good I can't wait to go back and try some more. I had the pistachio crunch and the blueberry creme brûlée and it was so delicious I almost licked the cup. This place is dangerous for me so I will avoid it as much as possible. However it is on my route every day so it will be difficult. I found the Gelato to be better than what I had in Rome. Who would have thought! Btw the cart outside sells liquor infused gelato in the evenings!

Came in on a Saturday night when I was in the area. My friends and I were in the mood for ice cream, and this spot seemed like it would be a good one to try. Like any weekend, there was a bit of a line. I was fine waiting; the line extended only a little bit outside of the shop's entry door. Even though the line didn't look too long, it seemed to be moving EXTREMELY slow. After finally making it inside the shop, it was clear that they weren't understaffed at all. It seemed that the same people were in the same spot trying tons of flavors and taking ages to order. After finally making it to the counter, I was happy to see an extensive variety of both gelato and cone flavors. Some of the cone flavors were obvious; others seemed to have coatings that weren't obviously familiar. In terms of gelato, there were many flavors that appealed to me. I sampled the Rose Malai, Dulce De Leche, and Pistachio Halva flavors. Aside from those three that I sampled, there were so many other flavors that looked appealing. I had asked the employee serving me about the available cone flavors; his explanation was very unclear. I had communicated wanting a coconut-coated cone, and I somehow ended up being served my gelato in a regular waffle cone. I had waited too king to even try to explain the issue. In terms of gelato, I went for a medium size in a cone. This allows you two flavors. I decided on the Rose Malai and Pistachio Halva. The moment I had tasted my gelato, it made the very irritating wait in line worth it. I've tried fair share of gelato shops, but these flavors and quality blew me out of this world. Everything from quality to flavor intensity was impeccable. Overall, the service here is very much so lacking. The reason I still rate it so highly is that I know very few places, if any, to get better gelato. If I went again, I'd just try to go off peak hours of business. Even if there were a bit of a wait, I'd probably go through it knowing how good the end product is.

Just wanted to give a quick update. Since my last review, prices went up. A small cup is now $8! That's more than twice the price for the same thing in the center of Milan or Rome.

PROS: Their staff is very nice and they have A LOT of flavors to choose from. The variety of things you can order on their menu is great, but the best thing about this place is their atmosphere. This absolutely gave me the vibe that I was in Italy with their music and their design. CONS: The products were overpriced and they were very slow with making the products which caused the line to move slowly. No parking on the street for this place either and minimal seating. Also, they don't have prices on their menu online. OVERALL: I am 100% coming back here. This gelato is too good to pass up, despite being overpriced. Just make sure you understand parking can be an issue.

Let me tell you right now that you will find one of the best gelatos here in Bergen County. If you love and appreciate gelato, this place is a must try. ***In a rush? Skip to the end for my tips.*** Every time I'm nearby, I must stop by. Even after dinner with friends, if they are thinking of dessert, I take them here and everyone I have brought here, has loved it. Everything I've tasted there has been good. My go to flavors are the pistachio, anything hazelnut, and anything coffee. The gelato is so creamy and doesn't have the artificial flavor that you taste sometimes in other gelatos. They are always nice and patient if you want to try flavors. Also, their servings are pretty generous, so if you are too full, I suggest getting the small size. Also, when you're standing in line, you will see the different cones they have and they all look so good. And, sometimes, I do get the chocolate cone covered with some kind of nut, and it's so good! Makes me more full, but it's worth it if I'm up for the challenge. So, if you like cones, get it! And, the interior is so cute, giving it a European feel. It's actually a really cute place to bring a date to and score brownie points. So, if you are thinking about checking this place out, you definitely should. I'm already thinking about when I can go again. :) Tips: - It's meter parking in Englewood from 9:00am-6:00pm. No need to feed the meter on Sundays and legal holidays. Don't forget to double check the signs, just in case certain days are not allowed. There's also a parking garage down the block. - It's always going to be busy there, so if you are planning to stop in and you see a huge line, it's worth the wait. - If you get the smallest cup, you can only get one flavor. And the next cup up allows you to choose two flavors, but it's a lot of gelato. - They also sell gelato for dogs. - Weird tip, but when I get a cone here, I usually ask for it on the side because I don't want it to get soggy or feel rushed to devour the whole thing quickly because the gelato is melting too fast. With the cone on the side, I could take bites of it whenever I want or put in the perfect amount of gelato I want in it without everything dripping everywhere. Weird, but it works for me. :)

THE BISCOTTINO COOKIES AND CREME! JUST DO IT! This gelato spot is beautiful and chic. They offer gelato, sorbets, chocolate bars, and even frozen treats for your pup! Bianco Nero offers so many flavors including vegan, kosher, and gluten free options. I did notice however they treat to go orders differently than if you were to eat it right away. If you decide to eat it right away, they decorate the ice cream with a baton cookie but don't include it if you take it to go (I assume because the lid wouldn't close if they did).

Bianco Nero Gelato was very much enjoyed. This eatery is perfectly situated, on the corner of S. Dean & E. Palisade Avenue, which gives it a lot of exposure for anyone not familiar with this gelateria. There is a good amount of options to choose from and each serving is large and overflowing. They also add a baton cookie to each order, which is a nice touch. The servers are very cordial, are accommodating when potential customers would like to try a flavor, and give everyone large portions. The seating area is clean and has a good amount of tables, in order to accommodate eat-in customers. The gelato is one of the best I've ever had. The gelato is very creamy, there is no after taste, and even the smallest cup is sufficient for an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this gelateria and am certain that it will become a go-to establishment for dessert or a sweet craving.

One of the best spots for gelato in the area. Not only do they have delicious gelato, but their sorbets are great as well. Super creamy, light, and refreshing. The flavors are unique and change often, with new flavors being added every season. The decor is cute and there are many seats inside to enjoy your gelato. It can be crowded at certain times and the line can get a bit chaotic. There was a time the person in line behind me got served first because the employee thought I was with the party in front of me in line. I feel like they could be a little more organized when it comes to service, especially when long lines form. There are so many delicious options of gelato and sorbets. They also make waffles and offer artisanal cones, and a wide variety of toppings. They also make dog friendly gelato. This is a great spot if you're looking for a sweet treat, especially after dining at any of the local restaurants.

Another affogato find!!! I have had many affogatos over the past few months and I would say that this one was the most extravagant. The serving comes with a huge amount of gelato, a full serving of espresso and a cone on top!!! Honestly it was too much but was totally worth the price! Great indoor seating and staff are always nice.

I have been to a few gelato spots and this by far is one of my top 3. I recommend getting a medium cup with at least two flavors. They also let you try the flavors before ordering.

I can see why this place always has a long line every night. I came here on a Friday night after dinner nearby with my family. The line looked long but it moves fast. There's also a lot of seating both inside and outside. I ordered a small sugar cone with crunchy Sicilian pistachio gelato. I tried a bunch of flavors but this one wasn't that sweet and there was a lot of nuts. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely come back and try their other interesting flavors like rosewater and halva.

I loveee ice cream and this location definitely satisfied my craving for delicious ice cream. The interior is beautiful & the options are endless! I'm so glad they let you taste as many flavors as you want because I always have a hard time choosing based on looking at the ice cream. I tasted a few but went with a lemon flavor which was outstanding! This seems to be a popular location as there was a line out the door when I arrived & when I left! It's also on a very cute street with other stores, bars, and restaurants if you are interested in sticking around. They also have an indoor & outdoor seating area. Well let's see how to start. They run out of everything ALL the time. And besides that they turn business away. Have you heard they don't take 100 dollar bills, is this a third world country we live now? Perhaps they should invest in systems that can verify if a bill is fake or not, a 5 dollar bill can be fake ! Anyways this establishment is run poorly!!!! What's a disgrace !

The gelato was great! If I was basing my rating solely off the gelato, it would be a five start review! I had the dulce de leche. Highly recommend. The service left more to be desired. The person who helped my husband was great. They offered my husband a few samples and immediately came back to him to take his final order. The person who helped me was not as attentive. I asked them for a sample of the banana biscoff, ended up not liking it, and was hoping to try another sample. However, they immediately went to the next person behind me, gave her a sample, and went on to take her final order without checking back in with me for my final order first. As to not hold up the line I ordered the dulce de leche without trying it first. It ended up being a good gamble nonetheless.

Such a great place in a PRIME location. I have been saying it for some time now that it is about time this area got some quality gelato. Tried it this weekend, was excited and they didn't let me down. European ambiance, many flavors and cup / cone options. Super excited to have a new weekend spot.
