What a wonderful dining experience! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Great service from our waitress, who recommended the perfect wine to accompany my pasta dish. The owner was gracious and conversational. And the food!! We were able to give our compliments to an amazing chef who greeted our table after our meal. But really, the food was fantastic!! We had the pasta and short ribs and cheesecake for desert. All of it was delicious!! If your visiting St Thomas, definitely check out Bibi’s if you want great local dining

Bibi has all of your favourite tapas. Plus some of their own unique creations. We sampled mushroom croquettes, gem salad, devilled eggs and artichoke flatbread. We enjoyed every dish. The pace of delivery was perfect. They will space it out if you ask. The wine selection was creative. Service from behind the bar was professional but not chatty. We liked their musical selection (Joy Division, The Smiths). Lighting is low (you might need your phone to read the menu). We had a very pleasant evening. Everything at Bibi clicked for us.

Google
This place is a perfect date spot or drink with a friend vibe. Great lighting. Cute seating options either at tables or at the bar. Great happy hour till 8! The wine list is 10/10. Food list is fine. Not super creative but a some good options for little snacks to accompany the drinks. Both dishes we ordered were yummy! The best part was the service. They were clearly understaffed that night (it happens!). But the one woman that was working there was killing it. Most efficient, most helpful, nice and fast service. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
A warm, welcoming vibe for a date or catching up with friends here inside and outside. We sat at the bar, where there was attentive, friendly service. It feels like a neighborhood bar. There is a happy hour menu, and we didn't have bites this time. When it was time to leave the restaurant was filled up with couples and friends alike. Enjoy the food, wine and atmosphere!

Google
Enjoyable wine bar with a very nice selection of wines and small (but tasty) bites that go well with the wines. Atmosphere is fun and staff nice and diligent. Very reasonable pricing given the quality of wines. Highly recommended to spend some good time

Google
The best night!! We had incredible service, drinks and food from our server Bobby. we went during happy hour (every day until 8pm) had a bottle of wine and charcuterie board and it was incredible. The atmosphere is lovely and an all round great night, it was our last night in NYC and the waiter gave us a free drink to celebrate 🥹 Will definitely be coming back

Google
We had a wonderful group event at Bibi Wine Bar! The staff were incredibly kind and professional, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The food was delicious, the wine selection was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
Awesome little venue.... hidden gem. Wine list is full of discoveries and not your normal everyday wine shop bottles. Some great choices and very reasonably priced. Best anchovies, tepenade and oil plus awesome kimchi grilled cheese on the best bread in the world. No kidding. Baked by a local Michelin star Lebanese chef it makes the sandwich. Great for a date night or group of friends and the staff are all really friendly too... top pick

Yelp
I went to Bibi on Thursday with a friend and we meet up quickly for a drink. My friend ordered a sangria and I ordered a sweet glass of wine. The ambiance was phenomenal, it was so alive. So many people enjoying the nice weather dining outdoors. My glass of wine tasted delicious especially because the weather was nice and warm out on this day. I would recommend Bibi wine bar as a great location to catch up with friends, a date night, first date location as well. I would definitely be open to coming back to this location to try more wines and their food. My friend had plans afterwards to watch a basketball game so we met up for just one drink each which was perfect for me since it was still just a Thursday night. 10/10 recommendation.

Yelp
I LOVE this spot ! You walk in and it's incredibly cozy. The server was amazing, very attentive and kind. We had the manchego and salami bibi bites and they were all delicious and at a great price. If you haven't been here, you need to go!

Yelp
Cutest wine bar! Great selection of wine, and perfect ambience to catch up with a friend. Their food also really surprised me especially their flatbread. Loved it in here and highly recommend.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday night around 7pm with my friend and they were pretty packed but had space outside which was super cozy and cute. We split a bottle of their Mastroberardino which was on their happy hour menu for $30 and was delicious. We shared the patatas bravas which came in the most delicious sauce and would highly recommend and the cheese board which was also so delicious. Service was incredible and would definitely come back!

Yelp
The cutest wine bar!!! We ordered the chorizo speco charcuterie board and $8 glasses of white wine (happy hour price!) The board was delicious, with a plentiful amount of meats and breads. The atmosphere of Bibi is warm and intimate, and the volume level was at a quiet chatter when we dined around 5pm on a Tuesday night. I love the dim lighting, with each table lit up with a small candle. The window seating was lovely, and outdoor seating was available as well. Our server was extremely friendly, sitting down with us to explain drinks and food in detail. And they brought us extra bread too :) I highly recommend Bibi! It's a lovely place for a drink and a bite at a good price. It's not overly crowded, if you go early/on a weekday!

Yelp
Great place we stopped by for happy hour (on a Sunday) from checking out some fantastic performance art in the East Village. I had a prosecco, and we shared a two-item plate (all plates come with bread). The sidewalk shed was a little dingy, but at least you got the sense they were well used, which you can't say about too many of the sheds in the East Village. Our waiter was a native French speaker, so with their longer history of food service, I relaxed into knowing we were in good hands. And we were: Our small normally indoor pup was coughing from the heat exposure, and our waiter didn't even blink. He also didn't try to upsell us on more drinks: I was the one who asked. Class.

Yelp
My new favorite wine bar. They have a very large selection of all types of wine- red, white, orange- as well as bubbly and seasonal mulled wine. Also a selection of tasty tapas. Personally, I love coming during happy hour as it lasts until 8 pm every day and has multiple different bottles to choose from. A great space for a date or relaxing night with friends.

Yelp
I've since been here a plethora of times to enjoy HH with girlfriends. Such a great ambience, good wine, delicious food, attentive service- you literally can't ask for more! 5/5

Yelp
Happy hour is a cheat code. Alphabet City's best kept secret. $30 for a bottle of wine and $8 a glass?!!? INFLATION BUSTER ALERT!!! I personally love a chilled red wine, but in the past when I have proposed it in a group of people, they look at me like I am Ghidorah. That's the monster that gives Godzilla PROBLEMS for you nerds that don't know. I have since stopped suggesting a chilled red, letting my social anxiety best me yet again. I came here with a newer friend, one of those friends that you feel you will really vibe with, but it is a bit too early to tell as some people lowkey be hella weird. When we were deciding what bottle to split, she looked at me across the 24x24 cherry wood table and asked if I like a chilled red. I felt a lifelong friendship budding right before my dark brown eyes. THANK YOU BIBI'S! ALPHABET CITY STAND UP!

Yelp
My friends and I went during the happy hour from 4pm to 8pm, and it was a fun experience. The wines we tried were delicious, and the small plates we got were really good. I especially enjoyed the potatas bravas and the artichoke flatbread. We were a large group, but the staff was so accommodating and friendly with us. And just generally I just loved the vibe - very laid back and gives you the sense that you're sitting in a nice rustic wine cellar.

Josefina L.

Yelp
Ugh the wine selection is impeccable and the happy hour #rocks my only thing was the size of the cheese board was a bit too gourmet (small) but the fig marmalade ugh dream.
google avatar

Shivani L.

Yelp
Beautiful outdoor patio and great vibes! Enjoyed a few bottles, flatbreads, and charcuterie, with friends

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday! Wine bottles are 30$ and glasses were 8$ when I went. They have devil eggs on the happy hour as well for snacking. My friends and I tried the artichoke flatbread and potatas bravas which were on point. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when the rest of our group game in later. The place gets pretty busy fast so go early to get a table! The vibes are pretty laid back during the day time, but would be a perfect date spot at night.

Yelp
Grabbed a table here for pre dinner drinks, worth checking out. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The happy hour deals on bottles was clutch, so we did this and got a delicious white. Tried the happy hour deviled eggs which was worth the try. The food around us looked interesting so would consider coming back to try more apps.

Yelp
Lord this risotto was drop dead phenomenal I neeed to go back and try other food but for now 5 for this delicious lemon shrimp risotto situation

Yelp
The Wine & ambiance was great! Had a cool menu, perfect appetizers if you're trying something new. Space was quite small tho. Perfect spot if you reserve for a med size party

Yelp
Great happy hour!! Perfect on a beautiful day to sit outside or a cold day to sit inside! Cheese & meat board is a great price & very yummy!

Yelp
I want to gatekeep this place so badly but I'll share! We stopped by right at opening at 4pm on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table, but they were packed by 6pm so get here early. They have Happy Hour until 8pm with great deals, especially the $5 deviled egg dish ($9 outside of HH)! The Happy Hour Chardonnay was absolutely delicious. As for food, every single item was amazing. The risotto ($14) and meatballs ($14) were both hearty and filling, despite being categorized as small plates. There's a great variety of charcuterie options ($13 for 2, $22 for 4, $29 for 6) and the helpings are generous. Service was quick and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Great assortment of tapas style food. Very well prepared served in an appetizing manner. The service was excellent as well, even though we only encountered one waiter. They do offer full bar service and a good assortment of wines. The flames chorizo was excellent , served in a flaming clay pig, with a nice piece of sourdough bread. Patatas bravas, we're also very well prepared, and really all the plates were very tasty! Would revisit again.

Yelp
Cute and small wine bar that gets very packed! We had a reservation for a table at 8:30 for dinner/drinks, but it wasn't ready for about 15-20 mins. Luckily, there were some bar seats towards the back where we could order a few things first before getting seated. There were only 2 people working that night, and while I greatly appreciate their service, it was clear that they needed assistance. He didn't get our cheese plate order OR bottle of wine correct, but at least we ended up liking both. Food prices are very reasonable if you're looking for small plates/tapas. My fave of the night was the patatas bravas and the grilled cheese is very decadent if you're looking for something more hearty and filling.
google avatar

Kate C.

Yelp
Cute wine bar and tapas place with some outdoor seating. Our waiter was incredibly unfriendly, which is why I feel like I can only give this place 3/5 stars. If the service was better, I'd bump it up to 4/5 for food and drinks.
google avatar

Eve B.

Yelp
Our waitress truly made the experience for a friend and I. We came in for just a glass of wine and asked if there was any way we could get some side bread. She came over with this giant platter that just made our experience. We felt like main characters.

Yelp
Bibi Wine Bar in the East Village is a friendly neighborhood wine bar serving a great happy hour with bottles for $28. We went for a Cabernet and some snacks to enjoy alongside with it. We loved the mushroom and goat cheese flatbreads which came out warm and crispy and the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. Bibi Wine Bar is a great spot to enjoy a bottle of wine with some solid small plates with a date.
google avatar

Sarika M.

Yelp
Came in here on a Saturday around 4pm when it was almost empty, and it seemed like we brought the party in because five minutes later the place was packed! Overall great place for their daily happy hour with both wine and snack options, and very cute ambience. I will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here for a couple happy hour drinks while waiting for a restaurant to open up a block north. They had some nice specials including a handful of wines for $8 a glass and a couple beers for $5. I had a couple of the happy hour specials including a brut and a vinho verde. They had a great selection of wines by the glass plus a ton of option by the bottle and half bottle. The outdoor dining section was spacious and kept warm with heaters. The indoor seating was nice a cozy. The bartender was very nice and quick. Great spot for wine and happy hour!

Yelp
I made reservations for bibi via email (Bonny was super responsive!) for a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. The place itself is very cute; they dim the lights and light some candles so it gave off a very intimate vibe (good for a date spot). My boyfriend and I were taken care of by two *wonderful* ladies (I wish I had gotten their names but I'm assuming one was Bonny) who were great at giving us suggestions on wine and super attentive throughout the night. We ended up ordering the Garnacha Blanca, an orange wine that was not too dry and not too sweet, and ended with the Vinho Verde, a white wine that was more of a sweeter, bubblier wine. Both were pretty good! They had also offered us some taste testers to start, which was greatly appreciated. They have food options but we had already eaten dinner beforehand so we opted for the S'mores in a Jar which was such a chocolatey, gooey, beautiful mess that I would absolutely order again and again...and again. Please stop by this lovely gem if you're in the neighborhood!

Yelp
SO INCREDIBLE wine selection, service and Food are all top notch* *friend got married here and let me tell you, the wine was flowing, the bartenders were attentive and the finger foods were delicious! Seriously one of the best parties I've been to!

Yelp
I had heard about this place from a friend a few months ago and never went. Decided to go grab a drink before dinner the other day and was happily surprised to find out we were there during happy hour! $30 bottle of a refreshing rosé and we ordered some snacks to hold us over until dinner as well. The pigs in a blanket are always a hit and we wanted meat and cheese but couldn't decide which to order. We asked our waiter to choose for us and he was absolutely happy to. It was the perfect place to sit outside on a nice summer day and enjoy some good wine with the weather!
google avatar

Chelsea B.

Yelp
Great! Just very loud but service and selection was very good. Only one server/bartender whom seemed to be holding down the entire joint remarkably:) thank you sir:)
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Warm cozy wine spot! Super intimate, but can get pretty loud w all the conversations going on around you. The wine options are great and they have some good happy hour deals until 8
google avatar

Markesha M.

Yelp
It's ok. Must if there wines are Natural. And I discovered that the hard way as I didn't care much for anything they offered by the glass. But they were Extremely kind about it. Letting me try multiple until I was satisfied. I just said yet yo one cause I felt bad. Lol. Not there fault. It's one less star cause I just didn't like the selection. Loved the vibe and everything else.
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
I love this wine bar! This place has an amazing happy hour for wine. It also has really cozy vibes and is great for people watching. The food is also good. I always get their charcuterie boards which pair great with their wines.
google avatar

Lingxiao C.

Yelp
Great happy hour deals till 8pm - $28 per bottle of decent wines. The flatbread with goat cheese was very good! Service was surprisingly attentive even though they were pretty busy. There were assorted games by the restroom - not sure if they were available for rent during the day.
google avatar

Maggie T.

Yelp
Loved Bibi! Such a great wine bar with delicious wine and good vibes. Plus, bottles are only $30 and glasses are $8 during happy hour -- even on weekends! Such a great deal that we felt obligated to get a bottle. Good date spot too!!
google avatar

Luke H.

Yelp
Great spot for first dates or people watching! Knowledgeable staff, yummy snacks, great playlist. Truly my fav spot in the neighborhood to go when I don't have a place in mind (or when I do!). Never had a bad night here.

Yelp
Here's a saying that may sound reminiscent, "Don't worry, Bibi Happy Hour" A pot of gold at the end of the East Village rainbow-- Bibi has perhaps the best happy hour deal for wine that I have had the pleasure of imbibing. Not only that, but it is such a snug and intimate space, with dim lighting and relaxing candles. Happy Hour is EVERY DAY from 5-8 PM: $28/bottle, $8/glass and $5/beer and cider. I have ordered a bottle from their select happy hour menu each time and have ended the night more than happy! If you want to venture off-trail from Happy Hour, their other wines are all under $60. I have yet to try their food, but there are some $5 quick bites on their Happy Hour menu! Their main food menu offers a great selection of cheese & charcuterie amongst other more filling options (chicken pot pie, risotto, etc.) This is such a steal of a deal, it would truly be a crime to not indulge, especially when you have 7 days out of the week to choose from!

Jewel-Ann O.

Yelp
Great happy hour !! Fun vibe recommend!! I got the deviled egg too amazing! They have great Monday deals too for half glasses
google avatar

Abby S.

Yelp
This is such a cute neighborhood gem! Even in the times of COVID, the outdoor seating with the sweet string lights was able to bring some cheer. The service and snacks were great and there were so many happy hour wine options. Such a great neighborhood hangout.

Yelp
Found my favorite wine spot for HH in the east village. It's cute and cozy, and has great deals. I ordered a wine flight and caught up with an old friend. I'll be coming back for sure.
google avatar

Jenn L.

Yelp
Cute wine bar in the East Village. Great Happy Hour deal daily till 8PM. $20 bottle of wine, $7 a glass and $5 small bites. What a steal! Great date spot too!
google avatar

Nivi R.

Yelp
We came to bibi on the most perfect day in NYC (mid 70s weather), and were lucky to snag a table outdoors. Loved the wine selection and the relaxed atmosphere. If I lived on the LES, then I would frequent this place all the time. We just ended up getting drinks here, but I'd love to come back and try their food someday.
google avatar

Raushan M.

Yelp
Cute laidback spot with a great happy hour. We enjoyed our $28 bottle and the service was fantastic. I also believe there were $5 ciders for those who don't drink wine. Our waitress was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. To be honest, I'd skip the charcuterie meats and maybe just do cheeses if you're getting a board. I felt like all of the meats we got (chorizo, prosciutto, and pate) were cheap and not very flavorful. Especially the chorizo... such a weird undertone with no delicious flavors. Maybe I'm being a snob but I don't think I am since I thought the cheeses were good to my knowledge! The waitress also brought me gluten free crackers (from Trader Joe's lol I recognized them... 3 seed and sweet potato) and that was very nice and accommodating! I also got the kale salad but I would skip that too... maybe just do drinks here since it's a great atmosphere and pricing.

Yelp
Skinny man with glasses working tonight 12/10/22 around 7:30pm was very rude to my friend and I. I've visited this wine bar multiple times in the past and received wonderful, friendly service so this was a huge disappointment. We will not be returning.

Katelyn N.

Yelp
So glad we stumbled upon this place for happy hour! Great ambiance and service. Would recommend swinging by for happy hour!
google avatar

Kat T.

Yelp
Loved it! Quaint spot with good wine and yummy bar bites. The meatballs were delish! Will definitely stop by again for happy hour if I'm in the area.
google avatar

Edward W.

Yelp
This is such a chill wine bar. We came here on a Saturday night to find some piece and quiet and this place was perfect. It was really easy to hold a conversation here and better yet, the wine prices were reasonable. We had a group of 5, so we ordered the wine by the bottle since it was a much better deal. Highly recommend it since bottles were only $20-$30!
google avatar

Tamlyn C.

Yelp
Cute little spot in East Village! They have a wine flight for $15 (3 tastings), a (light) food menu, and even a s'mores dessert. I got the sparkling rosé, sauv blanc, and Pinot noir and I enjoyed all of them! The artichoke flatbread was also good, but the s'mores dessert was just so-so for $8 -- wasn't that big either. Overall would definitely come back if I were in the area; unfortunately is a little far from my subway lines but really enjoyed the experience!
google avatar

Camryn P.

Yelp
I love Bibi so much! The employees are knowledgeable, kind, and always give great service! You really cannot beat their happy hour and ambiance. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Celebrated a good friend's birthday here during Happy Hour a couple of days ago. There were 6 of us, 2 bottles of PROSECCO, 1 bottle of RED (can't remember which one, something French), and a pitcher of SANGRIA all $22 per bottle/pitcher during HH. All tasty! We had several types of bruschetta, but our favorite was the bacon & fig with mascarpone & balsamic....drool. My friends had a few orders of the pigs in a blanket. The bruschetta & pigs in a blanket were all $5 during HH! Check in on Yelp and get one free! We also had a few things from the regular menu including the Cheese & Charcuterie board, the potato skins, marinated olives, yellowfin tuna sliders, and the Mac & Cheese. I recommend getting all of the above. There are 5 bite-sized potato skins, but they definitely melt in your mouth. Somehow this came to only $200 before tip which I think was a great deal. The ambiance and décor were typical wine bar style. The only downside were the chairs, they are metal and oddly shaped, not very comfortable, we all kept shifting in our seats. Our server, David, was awesome, very sassy, but he took care of us and gave my friend a big glass of his favorite red wine which was delish. Thanks Bibi for making my friend's birthday awesome, we'll be back!
