"Bibigo Kitchen arrives Friday, May 24 at the Fashion Valley Mall, ushering in a first-of-its-kind eatery for a global food brand that’s already a household name. Bibigo, which is known worldwide for its Korean dumplings, sauces, and other prepared foods, operates several fast-casual food court outposts throughout Southern California, including one at Westfield UTC; this new Fashion Valley location will mark the debut of its next-generation, sit-down restaurant featuring an expanded menu and a bar serving beer, wine, and Korean liquor. The stand-alone eatery, which includes a 50-seat dining room and 20-seat patio, is located in the River Plaza section of the mall below the AMC Theatres. Bringing customizable counter-style service to the tradition of Korean barbecue, Bibigo Kitchen offers plates of beef bulgogi, crispy pork belly, octopus, and more paired with your choice of sides including seaweed rice, noodles, seasonal fruit kimchi, and grill root vegetables. An open kitchen gives diners a peek at the preparation of the eatery’s fresh dumplings, or mandu, which include steamed dumplings stuffed with tofu and vegetables and pan-fried dumplings filled with beef, pork, and shrimp. Created by veteran chef In Jun Hwang, the diverse menu includes modernized versions of classic dishes, including hot stone bowls sizzling with steak kimchi fried rice and gojuchang aioli chicken, as well as octopus kimchi soup, honey-soy fried chicken, and even tiramisu made with roasted Korean bean powder. There a variety of tea plus La Colombe Coffee, draft beer, wine, and an array of Korean alcoholic beverages including soju and makgeolli, a lightly sparkling rice wine. Bibigo Kitchen is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; during the restaurant’s opening week, it will be giving away free beef or vegetable mandu appetizers to every guest." - Candice Woo

A nice example of modern Korean/California style restaurant. Lots of flavour (including spicy choices!); plenty of healthy options; big, well-lit and clean setting; polite and quick service; reasonable pricing. Bonus: nearby AMC movie theater and Tesla supercharger.

The service was good we were greeted immediately when entering. We ordered the hot stone bulgolgi and the bibimbap. The food was delicious and the serving size was good. Definitely will be back.

Google
What an amazing korean food! I love their crispy pork belly. Service was so great! Will be back again.

Tried Bibigo for lunch on a whim. Restaurant is nice, ample selection of menu items, though pricey for what you get. Noticed that everyone around me, including myself, had to inquire where their bar drinks were as they never arrived. I ordered the steak kimchi fried rice bowl, good flavor but very little steak. Definitely a better option than the food court, but that's about all.

Google
Korean restaurant with a modern twist, I love the decor, and the food is delicious, very clean plate presentation, best mini chicken dumplings, and seaweed rice!

Mike Phan

Google
I would say the food is very good and the atomsphere/decor is great as well. Just seems a little ridiculous for a 3 dollar side of rice when it's so small. Less than one cup of rice.

Google
just eat and enjoy the simplicty. aioli sauce is there. jus enough, not slathered on to take away from the real meal, chicken. when they say stone is hot, oooh! it tis! do not forget to add the sous-vide egg x2. basically its uh, sunny-side up egg(s); jus break them yolks up, and let em dance with seaweed enfused rice. that side plate, its the refresher: cucumber kimchi. jus try it to say u did it, shoot, i did, and i enjoyed as the appetizer/palate cleanser. finished watching Star Wars, and brought the good mood to enjoy good food.

Polite staff, clean tables, quick food, great taste, and delicious pork belly

Yelp
My food was good, being the Naruto's classic ramen. It's just the Classic ramen they have on their regular menu, but with two Naruto fishcakes added to it. It has a really big portion size for me so I think I got my money's worth. The karaage chicken was okay. Not really crispy but at least it was somewhat juicy. Ambiance is also really nice, being pairly clean and having modernized decor that I personally enjoy. I tried my girlfriend's truffle oil ramen and I thought it was really good on the first bite, but she thought it was a little too much to eat the whole thing. To that point, after trying another bite made me realize that I wouldn't be able to eat the whole thing either. The flavor is pretty overwhelming and for that, it's kind of a shame that's what it came to. However service was kind of lacking. Server forgot my diet coke that came with the combo and then when the check finally came, I mentioned that and all she said was she'll take it off the tab. However, it already came with the price of the combo, so I still just never got the soda and paid the same price. We were also never offered refills on water. I'd feel bad bringing my review down to 3 stars cause they don't deserve that rating as a whole, but that's what the service felt like. Food was good to kind of counterbalance that fact.

Yelp
Every time I go to the mall always walk by Silverlake. I've wanted to try it ,and tonight I did. We had a short wait when we got there but, not too long. The place was packed so I knew it would be fire. Vibes were pretty good after getting seated and looking around. A few TV's, cool signs, and art on the back wall. We ordered a couple combos, Chicken shoyu and karaage, and Veggie ramen and edamame. Im so sorry to say they were both terrible. I mean, the Karaage was good ... loved the sauce it came with but the Chicken ramen was rather bland and I wasn't feeling the noodles. As for the veggie ramen, my gf didn't even want to eat it. The broth so was miso forward it just tainted the entire bowl. She didn't not want to eat any of it... only thing she ate was the avocado she fished out before mixing the bowl up to eat. They actually had some good lemonade tho. Service was good, but Im pretty sure I will never return. I really like ramen but this spot wasn't it for me. Thanks anyways guys.

Yelp
Nice decent spot. I wouldn't say it competes with Underbelly or Tajima. What it is is some nice home cooked food with an extra touch of flave. All we ordered was the chicken appetizer and broccoli. Both hit a 7 out of 10. What brought it up to an 8 were the sauces. They add some nice spice, some nice seasoning. Service was efficient as well. I wouldn't say this is a destination spot, but it is a decent spot to go to if you're shopping at The Valley. I'd definitely take the other restaurants over this one but this is worth trying out. Decor is nice, it wasn't too crowded, the bathrooms? Slightly weird. Good spot though.

Yelp
Nice people good food! We've been here 4 times already. We love the ramen- super tasty. We're in love with the fried gyoza. The servers work as a team! We were so pleased with this Filipino server that we gave him a personal tip. Instead of keeping it, he put it in the tip jar. Aren't they allowed to keep it?? We added a tip to the bill. We just wanted him to get more for the good service. We keep coming back here.

Chyanne A.

Yelp
The only complaint was that the meat wasn't cut up. amazingly delicious bathroom is creepy, table area is cute and well spaced

Tawnia S.

Yelp
We had high hopes for this place, and sadly, it was just ok. The waiter was very nice but unorganized and struggled to get our orders correct. Several things had to be sent back because they were wrong (pork, instead of chicken. Egg, when we asked for no egg, etc). It wasn't horrible, just not worth the money.

Jessica C.

Yelp
We usually come in for a quick meal before or after a movie upstairs. The service is quick and you cannot beat the timing. The space is cute and though it doesn't feel huge they are able to get you in and out quickly! The food is always solid. I usually pick the tonkotsu. I've had every protein over my many visits. I love the tofu. The pork and chicken are also good but sometimes I am craving something meatless (with the meaty broth). The broccolini is yummy but the serving felt huge. I've had the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It is very spicy!!! Today I have the impossible bun. Holy heck that was SPICY. Very good though. The impossible Mapo tofu was my first foray with this dish. It was LESS spicy than the mapo! Which wasn't expected. I totally didn't realize how much rice would be in the bowl. Even a reg portion was very filling.

Jessica D.

Yelp
What I ordered | classic tonkatsu ramen with pork + chicken karage Taste | broth was solid. a bit surprised it just came with one chashu piece. karage was soft and crispy and stayed warm longer than I expected. Service | our server was good. there were a few folks who had checked up on us and when I requested additional add on items for the order, it came out pretty quick. Parking | fashion valley mall garages Notes | they have a waitlist option. came here during lunch on new year's day and no wait.

Yelp
This location is better than the one at UTC, everything was just so bland over there, but anyway.. back to the Fashion Valley location: Been here a few times, husband loves it. Idk what he gets exactly, but he gets pork and he's always impressed at the size of his pork slice. I get the veg broth ramen and add a spice bomb. It could be way better with more salt to take it over the edge. I always forget to ask for no spring mix because it throws me off -- salad mix that's wilted in hot ramen? The broccolini is AMAZING. It's probably my favorite thing on the menu. The sesame dressing that's drizzled on top is just to die for. My son is pretty picky, but he'll eat tf out of the chicken karaage. The last time we dined here (3/3/24), it was pretty busy -- Sunday lunch time -- so it was understandable. We needed something to eat while we waited for our Genius Bar appt, so we figured to eat here. It was just a bit off-putting to see the female server wear gloves.. the same gloves to bus tables/grab ice and make drinks for new tables -- totally NOT sanitary and just gross to see. I know for a fact that she didn't change gloves because I watched her do everything except for changing gloves or washing her hands. Washing your hands a billion times during a shift is cleaner than wearing one pair of gloves to do everything. I'm just glad the male server was the one who dropped off a box/bag for us.

Yelp
had high expectations for this place but disappointed myself by ordering tsukemen instead of ramen. I've been on the hunt for a good tsukemen in san diego so when I saw it on the menu, I thought it'd be as good as what I heard about their ramen. the tsukemen dipping broth was way too salty. I know it's supposed to be salty, but wow this was overpowering. and although it was salty, it was also so bland...and had a weird miso taste? not sure. the noodles were all stuck together, and raw bean sprouts piled into the bowl. the chicken was probably the worst part. it looked and tasted like prefrozen Tyson grilled chicken breast. the only positive thing was how great the server was. he was very attentive, chatty, and sassy with us. we had fun talking to him. probably wouldn't go again unless I was invited as part of preexisting plans, and I would definitely get the ramen instead.

Jessica S.

Yelp
I was so excited to bring my husband here, because he's been craving tsukemen ramen for a long time now, and it's not easy to find in San Diego. So of course, the first chance we got, we stopped in for lunch. They weren't super busy but it took a hot minute for them to take us to a table. The first girl who met us at the door told us it'd be just a second while she went to clear a table for us, then a different girl took us in a totally different direction, all those minutes later. It wasn't a terrible wait but did seem a lot longer than necessary. And you know - I suggested this so my husband could scratch his tsukemen itch, so of course he went with something completely different. Of course. We both decided to try their lunch combo, which offered a ramen and an appetizer. I went with the Blaze Tonkotsu with the fried gyoza; my husband got the Blaze Tonkotsu (super extra spicy) and the karaage. Each combo was $19. I also ordered a hot green tea ($2) and my husband got a Coke ($2.50 for a can). It didn't take very long for the food to come out, but when they delivered the ramen, we asked the guy which one was the extra spicy version (because there is no world in which I want to experience the spiciness that my husband thrives off of.) He didn't know. He first pointed to the one in front of me. Then paused, kind of tilted his head, then pointed to the one in front of my husband. We were both staring at him like, really? He finally just kind of shrugged and walked away, leaving us to poke through the bowls for signs as to which belonged to whom. The ramen was okay - certainly not the best bowl I've ever had, but neither was it the worst. It was just a bit...uninspired? Not exactly flavorless, but not flavorful, either. I'm not doing a good job at 'splaining why I didn't make yummy noises over this bowl of ramen, am I? The gyoza was deep-fried, which I hadn't expected. It also wasn't warm all the way through, which for something deep-fried was quite confusing. They served it with a mayo-based dipping sauce - again, unexpected - that did nothing to add flavor to the semi-warm gyoza. My husband didn't walk away singing the praises of this restaurant, either, but he's at least willing to give it another go. I think he wants to try the tsukemen next time, and maybe if we do go back, that's what we'll both order.

Jessica L.

Yelp
I will say initially walking in right at opening, I was seated right away. Modern take on a typical ramen joint. I ordered the shoyu ramen with chicken and gyoza combo. While waiting for the food, I noticed how filthy everything was. The wall my table was pressed up against, the empty plastic container and the soy sauce was clogged and dried up, had to ask for a new one, gross/worn out cups that did not look clean. As far as the food goes, it was fine; I ate it but it was no better than an instant ramen I can make at home. The chicken was not fresh and looked to just be the heated and sliced. The egg was the best of everything I had that day. The only ramen options are shoyu and tonkotsu. So if either of those aren't your jam, would pass on this place.

Nikki M.

Yelp
Service was awful right off the bat. The lady taking our order was very snarky and rude. They brought the majority of our party's food out and then took another 15 mins to bring out 2 people's food. The pork was undercooked, the broth tasted weird, the noodles were very large and overcooked. The restaurant workers were deliberately ignoring my friend asking for the restroom. The ambiance was very commercial and not genuine. Everyone who worked there seemed like they wished they didn't. The bathrooms were very weirdly designed.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Best ramen! The noodles had a silky consistency and the broth was bursting with flavor. The tenderness of the chashu sliced pork was perfection!

Bri B.

Yelp
Always made perfect, fresh ingredients! Honestly one of the best spots in SD ! Our waitress was so sweet

James P.

Yelp
The star of the show Black Truffle Ramen. I added an egg and some chili paste because I'm a fan of the spicy broths. This broth had a great balance of garlic truffle and umami flavors and the chili paste kicked it up a notch. The portion size was pretty hefty so you're definitely not leaving hungry. My partner got the dipping noodles since she's not the biggest ramen broth fan and she was very excited to tell me how good they were with the lime squeezed over. Only negative would have to be the grilled potstickers that ended up being pretty flavorless even with the dipping sauce. Overall if you're looking for a quick ramen fix Silverlake Ramen is a solid stop with it's conveniently located in the Silverlake shopping center next to the Pressed Juicery and California Pizza Kitchen.

Yelp
Don't order Uber eats from here. They won't send half your order and still charge you for the items you don't receive :) loved spending my holiday on the phone with Uber support trying to get my money back. Don't just scribble items out on the receipt and not send them??

Tai N.

Yelp
Stopped by with my wife and two small kids and was pleasantly surprised. Typically go to Tajima and raki raki. Found this place to be close/on par. They have a ramen and app combo for $20. Got the spicy tonkatsu with chisu(sorry I butchered the spelling). Broth was thick, flavorful with the perfect kick of heat. Meat was tender and juicy. The chicken karage was amazing and my kids loved it. We got a side of extra noodles for 3$ and it came in a large bowl which we split for the kids. It was perfect. Only complaint is the matcha green tea was watery and bland. Other than that, great overall experience and highly recommend a try.

Yelp
Met up with some family friends at Fashion Valley and it was dinner time. We were a group of 8 and I was surprised they let us sit when only half of us were present at check-in. I was even more surprised when we didn't get flack when the other half was 30 minutes late. There was a steady stream of turnover and I noticed that the wait never really built up even for a Saturday night. So kudos to our server for being patient. While we waited we put in for some appetizers and I got as Sapporo. The chicken karaage was really good. Crisp breading over juicy chunks of thigh meat. We got one Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. Tasted good but felt the tuna portion was wee small. Apparently their gyoza is really good because they were sold out and it was only around 6pm????? I opted for the Garlic Truffle Ramen. You could definitely taste the truffle in the broth which I found pleasant. I was surprised at how much noodles came with the bowl. They had a good snap to them. The kale in the bowl, while different, wasn't offsetting. I wasn't a big fan of the pork sadly. It was more like a pork chop piece sans the bone. No fat, a bit thick, and despite sitting in the broth felt dry. My wife and one daughter got the classic and opted for chicken. They didn't complain but didn't rave either. My other daughter tried the tsukemen instead of the ramen. She liked the dipping broth. Ambiance leans towards the hip side with several TV's and lots of Neon. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Convenient when you're spending time at the mall. Overall-3.5 stars.

Yelp
Been to this new location twice now and was excited it is in a convenient location when running errands since it is located in Fashion Valley Mall. My first time here the food tasted the same as the Irvine Spectrum Silverlake location: creamy tonkotsu with average ramen noodles and one chunk of pork chasiu. The ramen is tasty and I don't leave hungry or unsatisfied. The price is okay, $20 for the combo ramen and a small app. The ambiance is fine, it is less cozy and a little more harshly lit and less cute as other locations. The service is where I had a below average experience. Both times I've dined here our servers have not been attentive (a stark contrast to the irvine location) and even borderline rude. The first time I came it was empty and the second it was busier than usual. The first time: empty but server seemed to avoid us and did not check in with us. The ramens both were missing their eggs. The second visit: There is no host and even when you are prompted to check in with the host there was no one even making eye contact with the front. After 15 minutes of staff walking by and avoiding acknowledging anyone, a dozen people had accumulated in the front, 4 people hanging in the doorway halfway inside. I get the automation of people's jobs has its perks to the bottom line but at some point it will turn customers away. Only one server was kind to us and started to take care of everyone. Food was super fast and tasted great!

Rick D.

Yelp
Went in for lunch. Ordered these menu items, served in a timley matter: Chicken Karaage, which was crispy soft and thigh meat which was good; ghost pepper Kimchi (fermented umami with the smokiness and heat of the ghost pepper) - addictive; grilled gyoza, average taste not too crisp, not bad. Classic Ramen, Veggie Ramen, as for the ramen soup, it was Japanese fast food style (probably prepackaged) needed more depth and flavor and less creamy. Noodles were great! Also the ramen needs red ginger garnish so I took some from the Soboro Bowl, which reminded me of Yoshinoya Japanese fast food, just average good. Japanese fast food style and taste ! The service from the waiter was quick and polite. The background music was hip hop and played louder than normal, I assume for a young crowd or to make the place seem hip. Didn't like it.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
Some of the best ramen I've had in a long while. Since moving down here, it's hard to try to many new places. I had a favorite ramen place in Temecula and now I've found mine here in San Diego. The Truffle Ramen was 10/10 amazing! The flavor is out of this world, and the broth just soaked right in to the thick noodles they have. The seasoned egg is probably my favorite part of the whole dish. Will absolutely keep coming back to this place!

Ru P.

Yelp
Nice quick ramen option in a busy mall. Was visiting from out of town on a colder day and was happy to see a familiar ramen spot nearby. Service was good, got seated right away. Interior is clean and modern. We ordered the classic ramen and the garlic truffle. I would give the classic a 5/5 and the garlic 4/5. The garlic flavor unfortunately drowns the truffle so all you really taste is garlic. This isn't necessarily a bad thing if you like garlic but I wish I knew that prior as there was no truffle flavor. The classic was a good option with a nice broth and thinner noodles. The pork pieces were some of the best I've had with ramen so I'd highly recommend getting any of the ramen with pork. Overall a good safe ramen option that didn't have a long wait and is clean on the inside. Plenty of mall marking nearby and a great option on a cold day!

Eunice H.

Yelp
This location is very clean, spacious, and bright. The staff is attentive and kind and efficient. We ordered the spicy shoyu and regular shoyu ramen. The noodles were perfectly al dente and the broth was rich and flavorful. The chicken was perfectly moist and tender. The gyoza was super flavorful and the spicy Mayo it came with complimented the gyoza well. This is a great place to stop by after shopping at fashion valley mall. Love that it's close to parking and pro tip: stop by pinkberry afterwards for a refreshing palate cleanser!

Nicole D.

Yelp
Restaurant looked very clean, and I loved the decorations. I got the classic ramen w/ tofu with extra noodles and an extra egg; it tasted fantastic! The broth was nice and creamy, and not overwhelming. Would love to come back again someday.

Einna S.

Yelp
Sis had to pick up something at the mall but we were also hungry therefore she recommended this ramen spot. Ramen + the mall, how amazing is that?! The eatery was nice + quite spacious inside . I ordered a pork bun which my sis suggested. It was tasty! I do wish it came with two or three per order. Also, I had the spicy ramen which was flavorful. I'm only reviewing from what I ordered. I did try the karaage chicken which was yummy as well. I didn't realize it until I recently checked my statements that I was double charged. But, service was friendly and the overall experience was great!

Gem R.

Yelp
Service was good! Got seated quickly even though there were several couples ahead of us when we arrived, as well as a large gaggle of college students. After reading other reviews, I was worried that food would take forever after ordering but the appetizer came out very quickly after we ordered, and the soups not long after that, so they get points for that. Wait staff was also kind, attentive, and kept our water glasses filled up. Ambiance is fine, trendy fast casual I guess? Food is decent, but my hubs said the silverlake ramen he had in OC had much better broth. Even though I got the truffle ramen and still tasted the truffle, the flavor didn't seem as rich as other broths I've had at Tajima or Santouka or Menya Ultra. Noodles had a good chew and the egg had good texture. So...I'd say come here if you're already shopping at fashion valley and need something to eat while you're here. Otherwise if you're hankering to get ramen and don't mind driving out a little farther I'd recommend going to Convoy.

Ginger H.

Yelp
Flavorful yumminess. Every one of the 5 people at our table loved our food. Four had ramen (2 tonkatsu and 2 shoyu) and one had a chicken karaage bowl. We all agreed that the broth was the best broth we ever had. So savory and with depth of flavor. I added the truffle oil on the side and it was pretty good. The ginger was weird but good. It wasn't sweet at all... it was like a spicy pickle... and I think that might be better for you than the sweet version. I would absolutely go here again.

Sophia H.

Yelp
My partner and I visited Silverlake on 4/22/2024. We were seated very quickly, probably within 5-10 minutes. We both ordered Shoyu ramen. The chicken was cooked perfectly. My critique would be that the broth was not super flavorful. It was still very satiating and hearty. I also noticed we only got half an egg per bowl. I would have liked getting a whole egg. In addition to this, we ordered fried gyoza with pork. It was crispy and tasty and came with a side of spicy mayo. The servers were friendly and speedy which I appreciated as well. The interior design was modern and sleek. I think next time I will order a different plate.

Vanessa N.

Yelp
The ramen here is pretty consistent and always tastes delicious. It's conveniently placed inside Fashion Valley mall and there's two large parking structures near it. There's a few variations of ramens you can choose from and you can make them regular, mild, spicy, and extra spicy. You also choose if you want chicken, pork, or tofu. I always opt for the pork because it's nice and tender and compliments the other ingredients well. Overall, a great ramen spot to check out!

Danielle S.

Yelp
For tasty, quick ramen to enjoy after a day of shopping - look no further than Silverlake! The food was incredibly tasty- we tried the blaze ramen as well as the spicy tuna rice bowl, both will have me coming back again. The restaurant itself is located on the outer portion of the mall, so a little less foot traffic and has cute/modern decor. The service is the only reason I took off a star, we literally had to wave down a waitress to have her set her phone down long enough to take our order. The food came out incredibly quick (ramen faster than the rice) and when our initial server went on break a new one took over who was much more attentive. Overall it was tasty food, fast (once we finally got to order), and convenient so will be back.

Audrey C.

Yelp
Good place for ramen with consistent service each time I've come. I've only tried ramen here each time and it's good. I typically go for the creamy ramen here. My two faves are the garlic truffle ramen (perfect amount of garlic taste) and the blaze shoyu ramen (spicy, but not crazy). They give you lots of noodles, but not *enough* dressings. Their broths are super creamy, which is good. Staff here are friendly, but they don't come by enough to refill your water, yet they're always coming around to see if you left your card to pay the bill.

Leilani M.

Yelp
One of my favorite ramen spots in Socal has to be Silverlake ramen! They are consistently good throughout their different locations which is amazing! This vegan ramen was ohh soo good! I've also tried their other ramens and all the varying broths are rich in flavor! This vegan broth in particular is a creamy mushroom soup that was the perfect consistency to coat the noodles with every bite. I dream about this ramen. Also look at the amount of toppings in this bowl, truly fantastic! Side note for all my vegan friends out there, this ramen is vegan and I ordered an egg on it side.

Jayden P.

Yelp
I'm a regular at this place, and the food is consistently amazing. The ambiance is as inviting as ever. However, my recent experience was slightly dampened when I asked for extra sauces - the server's attitude left something to be desired. Despite that, I'll still be back for the delicious dishes and charming atmosphere.

Emily M.

Yelp
We ordered via DoorDash and apparently they were out of spicy tuna which was the whole point of the appetizer called 'Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna'. We had placed two orders of this appetizer among some other items. Well, all we received was crispy rice with an avocado slice and slice of pepper. It was written on the to go box 'ran out of spicy tuna'. No one notified us, tried to contact us or REFUND us for this. I called the location where the order was placed to see how we could resolve the situation. The young woman I spoke with was very polite and apologetic and said she would relay my information to the manager. No one ever called back and we were never refunded. It's wild to me how this is a service industry sans service and in this case, stealing money for something we never received.

Crystal A.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place with my husband & friends on a Friday evening. As soon as we entered we were greeted and seated fairly quickly. Our server was super chill and let us wait for the rest of our party to arrive. I am not a big fan of ramen so I got the soboro bowl which was pretty small but filling. The bowl was tasty but a little dry so I decided to ask for a side of black garlic with soy sauce and let me tell you it was a game changer and added just enough sauciness for my liking. My husband got the Shoyu on Fire and asked for the spiciest level but unfortunately was let down. It wasn't spicy but it sure was very tasty. The broth was to die for and the noods were perfect for him. Our friends got the ramen combo which came with an appetizer and the ramen for 20 bucks. They opted for sticky buns and The Blaze Ramen which definitely was spicy. 8/10 recommend. One thing I would go back for is the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna. Let me tell you that this appetizer made the whole experience worth it. Overall I liked it! I'd visit again

Yelp
Food lovers will find where's great food are! We wish we had known Silverlake Ramen earlier. We ordered: - Pork Bun Pork was tender and it's sauce was tasty. Kinda messy to eat because the bun soaks the sauce but I don't mind because it was that good. - Chicken Karaage Bowl Karaage chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. The balance of the spicy aioli and the red ginger was the highlight of the dish. Compliments well together. Best Karaage bowl that we've had so far. - The Classic Ramen (Pork) It's loaded of flavor. Deliciously rich creamy pork broth with fresh bean sprouts and green onions. Then with Ramen egg, egg yolk is creamy soft with umami flavor. Noodles was just right, not overcooked. Rating should had been 5 stars if server did not forgot/delivered our Sprite to the other table and it was on our receipt. Strongly recommended Ramen spot and would definitely coming back.

Yelp
Always a go to place when I'm the area. I've tried many different ramen combinations but this has to be my favorite one. Three simple words to describe my experience: Cozy, Delicious, and Consistent.

Yelp
Great ramens and services. Their soups are creamy and the noodle is soft and chewy. I like the variety items on the menu. Will come back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
While this place is a chain, I have to say it's the best ramen in San Diego. Located in the mission valley mall, it's a most stop during your shopping outing. Lines can be a bit long, so plan accordingly. I ordered the chicken ramen and it did not disappoint. The quality of the food is so great here and there's nothing really like it. Overall great experience and I will be back!

Yelp
Ordered take out of their tsukemen dipping noodles with extra egg. it was delicious. Online order and pick up was a breeze, it was lunch hours on a Friday. The ajitama is just perfectly cooked and the thick noodles are chewy. The broth is quite yummy that's is a blend of benito/tonkotsu. I would totally come back here again

Yelp
Soup tasted like water with no flavor. I've had ramen all over the world and this has to be last on the list. Poured half the bottle of soy sauce in the bowl to try to enhance the flavor to no avail. I told my waiter who offered to replace it and I refused because you can't change the flavor in a few minutes. I didn't eat it and they made me pay for it which is horrible customer service.

Yelp
NEVER EVER WILL I ALLOW MY FAMILY TO EAT HERE AND ANYONE ELSE THAT ASK ME I called this business requesting after my entire family feeling ill and having stomach pains throughout the night to refund my bill as I refuse to pay for food that caused my family to become sick. I called them 18 times and they picked up twice. First time they picked up the phone then hung it directly up Second time I spoke to a female employee who told me there was no manager in the restaurant when I asked for MOD manager on duty she said hold on then hung up on me. I will be going in there personally tomorrow and addressing this issue with them. There is a massive concern when a business operates like this.

Yelp
Solid option for ramen at the mall! Though the restaurant wasn't crowded, I'd say the service could be improved. The servers were friendly but forgot our beverages and never refilled our waters. The ramen itself came out piping hot and the portion was large! Noodles were a great texture and the egg was flavorful. The broth was light and balanced. Medium spice was a solid level, surprising considering how not-red the broth appeared haha Wouldn't go out of my way to return, but definitely wouldn't mind coming back if in the mall. I'd try the shoyu next time!

Yelp
Absolutely incredible water experience. The water comes in a tall glass with sufficient ice. I recommend the water here.

Yelp
Was excited to try Silverlake Ramen and found it to be a decent. In a very competitive field of San Diego ramen restaurants that has cropped up in the past 10 years, it's good. Certainly if I'm at the mall I would stop in but, I don't believe it's a destination that I'd seek out. A more extensive menu could help, its clean and service was good. I'm hoping on a future visit, something stands out.

Yelp
The food was delicious!!! We got the dine in only deal where you can get ramen and an appetizer for $20.50. We got the Blaze Ramen, The Shoyu Ramen, Crispy Chicken Karaage and Fried Gyoza. Everything came out so fast. The reman bowls are really big and filling! 10/10 would recommend! The ambiance was amazing. The lighting, vibes and atmosphere was great! They had a UFC fight playing when i went. Great meal and entertainment!

Yelp
We went to Fashion Valley again today 'coz my son and his Friends wanted to shop together for their new shoes. I remember that yesterday, when I was here at Fashion Valley, we spotted a place called "SILVERLAKE RAMEN." We couldn't come yesterday to dine in 'coz I was next door at "DEVIL and ANGEL DESSERTS " eating. But today it was perfect, I brought my son's friends here at SILVERLAKE RAMEN " after shopping , and I only paid less than $20 each kid. SOUPS that we got: * 2 GARLIC TRUFFLE RAMENS * THE CLASSIC (Tonkotsu) * THE BLAZE mild spicy * THE CLASSIC with TOFU Everyone got Pork for their meats and one boy got Tofu. I wish that my son learned from him to eat Veggies ;) . But anyways, this place is good, it's something for a change of taste on soups. I really like my Classic soup w/ pork. And the pork in each of our Bowls is only 1 piece, but a very Thick and soft slice and very flavorful . And the Noodles were so good ! Great place to stop by for Soups before or after shopping at the FASHION VALLEY MALL, especially with this Cold weather.

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a party of 5. Sat without a wait. Ordered Cajun mazemen, chicken karaage bowl, and shoyu bowl. Food came out pretty quickly and tasted great. Not sure about why a can of Coke is $3. Price isn't too bad. Located on a corner of the mall so easy access is a plus. Overall not a horrible spot. Would eat hear again eventually.
