Such a great spot! Super cozy and quiet, and everything was really clean. We tried two fish dishes and both of us loved them. Way cheaper than places in Stone Town too. Definitely worth checking out!

Mix between local and restaurant eating. Food and service was great, restaurant was clean and very visually appealing. Giant position size! As two girls from the UK we felt safe despite being the only tourists that evening. Food came quickly. The lady even packed our left over food in boxes to take away. Only downside is location - down a backstreet so was dark and quiet at night.

I had a very disappointing experience at Bibi’s Kitchen. I arrived at 9:30 p.m. to have dinner and waited until 10:20 p.m., but my food never arrived. The waitresses on duty, Grace and her colleague, were not attentive at all. Every time I asked about my order, they just told me “please wait” without any explanation. Even when I showed frustration, they didn’t seem to care. I ended up waiting for more than 50 minutes with no food, so I decided to leave and find dinner elsewhere. No one apologized or tried to explain the delay. If they had told me earlier that they couldn’t prepare the meal on time, I wouldn’t have wasted my evening. What made things worse was the presence of a bouncer inside the restaurant who stood on my right shoulder as someone wants to starb me. I’m not sure what his role is there, but it felt intimidating. A restaurant should be a place of peace and comfort, not somewhere customers feel uneasy or threatened. Overall, it was a disappointing experience — not a place I would recommend for anyone looking for good service and a calm atmosphere.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and a secure environment with an electric fence around the building. It’s just a 1-minute walk from the beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The beef was a bit tough, but everything else was very tasty. Unfortunately, they didn’t have Savannah (cider), but they kindly got it for us from the neighboring place. :)

So we decided to try this restaurant after seeing the great reviews, we had high expectations. Once we get there the staff are welcoming, but once the food arrived, our faces dropped. Nothing looks like the pictures here. We ordered sea food platter which came with 1 prawn.1 calamar piece.1 some sort of fish and a huge amount of fries that look like THIS. We also ordered the spaghetti with prawns which once again, looks nothing like the picture here. The only good thing was the pineapple juice which was excellent. We talked to the manager and informed him about our complain and everything, he said he was sorry but no service recovery however. We work in customer service so we expect at least some compensation for the poor service. Anyway , i don’t know if they had a bad day, but we definitely do not recommend !!!

Beautiful hidden gem just off the main road. The food was really tasty and fresh - just like the best home cooked food you can imagine. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and the service was great too. 5/5

Food is very good-- I recommend the beef pizza (comes with ground beef, green peppers, onions, mushrooms). The staff speaks very good English and the housemade drinks are good 👍🏽. Highly recommend for tourists, though, depending on the day they may give less meat. Directions: Straight road down off main road (there's a tiny sign that shows the turn off). Go straight until you come to a greenish gate that divides the road--take the road on the right. You will see it on the right side as you go down.

Rude stuff, angry waitress. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. At the moment me and my family set a foot, this particular lady who served us, she was angry towards us, poorly served us. Even the food wasn't that great as it used to be.
