Highlights

With family ties and culinary traditions that date back nearly a century, BiCE Cucina SoHo brings together the flavors and hospitality of Northern Italy and the chic style of contemporary New York. BiCE Cucina SoHo, relaxed and elegant, classic and contemporary, offers memorable dining along with BiCE’s signature friendly and attentive service. To meet the expectations of 2021 diners, classic BiCE Ristorante menu items are supplemented with a variety of equally delicious vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. Pinsa, a traditional Roman pizza with a light, airy crust, is served all day, and a menu of small dishes is available for late-evening visitors. The décor is stylish and bright, with fresh flowers, green plants, and tables surrounding two huge columns that have been transformed into trees by a local artist. Further enlivened by an exceptional sound system, BiCE Cucina SoHo will have a DJ on hand Friday and Saturday evenings, and live upbeat jazz to accompany Sunday brunch. The newest expression of a century of tradition, BiCE Cucina SoHo is owned by Beatrice’s grandson, Raffaele Ruggeri, and New York partner and long-time friend, Peter Guimaraes. “You come into my restaurant and you come into my home,” Ruggeri says. As the city emerges from an unprecedented year, the flavors of Tuscany should help New Yorkers and visitors feel right at home.

Delicious faire including the burrata mozzarella appetizer, Gnocci and chicken piccata and oh so delicious ! We had the pleasure of dining at Bice Cucina SoHo following a day out on the town in NYC. We had a large party of 9 and we couldn’t be happier with not only the food but the service we received. This place is top notch all around! The owner was on site and came over to greet us and even allowed us to get a picture with him. All the food--from the bread to the apps, to the drinks, to the main courses--was amazing! (We are all Italian, so it is very hard to please us when dining at an Italian restaurant!) To top it off, the service was fantastic, and we were treated like royalty! This is a place I would highly recommend, and I cannot wait to return the next time we visit NYC! Thank you to the Bice Cucina family for an amazing experience!

I posted 2 pics. I messed up the plating on the rack. Amazing atmosphere with great people. Very friendly and attentive to detail. The food is on another level and that was the best rack of lamb I have ever had. Was soft like bread. Oh and their bread is truely something to be desired. Thank You Raffaele for the incredible dinner. We also tried the crab cakes and the tuna tartar. Both were phenomenal. The chocolate souffle was dreamy and perfect. The icecream was strong in flavor. Delicious. Looking forward to returning.

It's only been open a week so im really glad i got such a fresh experience. Definitely let Rafael know i referred you when you go. Any small appetizer you get will be really good but for a main meal I highly recommend BICE signature lobster pasta !! The blueberry rule was a favorite as well as the pink passion for a cocktail

Yelp
The food, the drinks, the ambiance - this gem is spectacular. I got a pulsd voucher for a dinner for two and everything was perfect. The food: we got the seafood risotto, beef carpaccio, rack of lamb, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious - especially the risotto. I'm carving it now The drinks: the voucher came with a bottle of wine. They have a sommelier, so even though it was a house Cabernet, it was superb. Went so well with the dinner that we needed up getting another bottle (not included in voucher but worth it!) The ambiance: white tablecloths, attentive service, and the decor was like bright and airy. The faux trees were such a cool touch. Overall, highly recommend!

Yelp
Bice has long been known for fine dining, first at its original Milan location and for the last several decades in Midtown Manhattan. Bice has now come to Soho with a more casual approach. The food is equally good and the service is also excellent, but the vibe is more fitting given the neighborhood and the crowd. We are delighted to have them in the area. A terrific addition.

Yelp
Dinner for 4 on a Friday night and we really wanted to like this place. The location which is along the route into the Holland tunnel means do NOT drive down this street during high NY-NJ traffic congestion times. Park and walk a few blocks. Bice SOHO has a clubby vibe with beautiful people and a marginal DJ (per our 2 resident DJs who were part of our dinner party on this warm evening). The service was very good and the owner, Rafael, was definitely the best part of the experience. We felt like we were in the Italian fashion capital of Milan. All of the food was acceptable, but there were no standouts here as a foodie destination. The veal cutlet was, unfortunately, the low point as it was thin, over breaded, underseasoned and very, very dry. Perhaps a sauce may have saved it, but unlikely as it was dessicated, almost jerky like. Everything else was inline with most mid-level northern Italian restaurants. The best dishes we had were the Alba pizza with wild mushrooms and the burrata appetizer. The female to male ratio here tonight was 3:1 and a live singer also performed a few of his contemporary, self-written songs. Come for the pizzas, appetizers, wine, glamour and mostly Rafael and you won't be disappointed. Summary is that if you're spending about $500 on dinner for 4 here then come for the nightclub ambiance, confidence is high that you just might get lucky.

Yelp
What an amazing experience we had at Bice Cucina. Inside was so dreamy with beautiful decor. I love how they hit the column and made it into a living tree with beautiful lights. Late at night they have a live DJ and heard that it becomes a nice dance club for a great time. With the Groupon deal, it came with 4 drinks, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 desserts for two people each with an up to value. If you go over, simply pay the difference. I started with a delicious empress gin cocktail while my SO had a blueberry Moscow mule. Both were strong and delicious. Then we ordered an eggplant and fried calamari appetizers. The eggplant parm was the best I ever had. The calamari was lightly battered with fried zucchini's and mushrooms. All was so delicious with huge portion. For the entree; we ordered osobusco and proscuitto pasta which was freshly made. Everything was so huge portion that we had to take it to go. Then, we proceeded with our second drink each which was wine, a great pairing to end the night. For dessert, the SO ordered Nutella cake and I ordered creme brulee. All so delicious and definitely left me tipsy and full. This was such an amazing dining experience and I would go back without the Groupon. Here's the other perk, Monday thru Friday 3 pm - 6 pm 50% off their entire menu.

Yelp
Soho is now the new home for Bice Cucina & I couldn't be happier! Their new location is so sexy & it makes me miss being back in Europe every time I'm there! The owners are always amazing & give star treatment! But let's talk about the food...I LOVE the meatballs and the pastas are so delicious! Ladies, bring your girlfriends for a night out! You won't be disappointed! You can thank me later!

Yelp
Good service but food too salty. I had reasonable expectations for this place, but it fell short on the two dishes we tried. 1. Tagliolini Aragosta the noodles were al dente, but despite it being a lobster base pasta, it was too salty, which made the dish unenjoyable to eat. But the big issue I had with this dish was joe overcooked the lobster claw was. Not sure if this was meant to be this way, but I do not like Maine lobster claws overcooked. 2. Risotto Mare risotto was al dente which was good, but like the other dish, the sauce was salty. I had to drink a lot of water to help with the saltiness. I get both dishes were seafood base, but it didn't have to be this salty.

Yelp
How I love Bice! Felt like calamari and tuna tartar tonight. Got spicy margarita made just perfect! Amazing waitress - Antonella!

Yelp
Joaquin Rafael and Roberto are the most welcoming !! And the literal BEST espresso martini i have ever had. True Italian style. And the MEATBALLS!

Foodie Q.

Yelp
The restaurant is stunning inside. Very upscale - spacious with beautiful decor. Loved those trees inside. The service was also superb. I think our waiter was Roberto. He was present throughout the meal and always checked to make sure we were taken care of with each course. The food itself, though, was a bit overpriced for the quality of what we got. For drinks, I had the pink gin one, and it wasn't great. We started with the tuna tartare and the crab cakes. While the tuna was fresh and tasty, it wasn't anything special. The crab cakes were a miss - couldn't really taste the Alaskan crab. It was lost in all the mush. For the mains, we had the lamb chops and the ossobuco. The lamb chops were just okay - a tad bit over cooked and tough. The sides were forgetful and didn't complement the lamb. It was also the first time I was served lamb chops without mint! The ossobuco was awful. It was paired with a risotto that honestly tasted horrible. The sauce for the ossobuco was just tolerable. I would steer away from ordering that dish period. For dessert, we had what was described as a "soufflé" but was actually a lava cake. It was good, but it wasn't what we had really ordered/expected and not worth the price. It was nice I could change the ice cream it was paired with from vanilla to pistachio, though. Overall, the restaurant and the service were excellent. Unfortunately, the food was not. Therefore, I wouldn't visit again in the future (poor quality with an expensive price tag). Also, as a side note, I got bitten by a pesky mosquito 5 times during dinner.

Yelp
We had the chicken Parm and steak it was beyond our expectations. Meat was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. Cocktails were really good and what a beautiful place.

Yelp
This place just opened and I love it. I've been a few times already. Great vibe, food is amazing, decor is gorgeous. My favorite fish is the octopus carpaccio and the lobster pasta. They even have gluten free options and breadsticks. The bar is fun and there's a DJ on the weekends. Pretty people and a great vibe. I highly recommend.

Yelp
I only write reviews for places I love, and Bice is everything - perfect food, perfect wine, perfect atmosphere. I found them on the pulsd app and got a voucher for a dinner for two with a bottle of wine - after this initial visit, I will be returning a lot, even without the voucher! It's that amazing. The house wine was phenomenal, and was perfectly paired with our starter of extra tasty Crab Cakes. We moved on to mains (Linguine Vongole & Chicken Parm) which were cooked by a pro - it was obvious, as every bit e was incredible - I dint want it to end! We wrapped things up with some Tiramisu which was the best I've ever had - and I'm married to an Italian! Can't wait to come again and will share with friends - a good excuse to try more dishes in the future!

Yelp
We love this place! Came here with my wife and two colleagues from work. Services was great and the food delicious. True Italian hospitality.

Yelp
BiCE SOHO is beyond just delicious cuisine the atmosphere, waiters, host and owner Rafi made us feel like we were a million bucks! It's old school top notch service -The way it should be when you want both a culinary and dinning experience that aims to please your palette and sensory! We started with the burrata then the tuna tartar(best ever!) 2nd plates Risotto and pasta Bolognese celebrating dessert with a tiramisu, apple pie and cheese cake! I could eat here everyday and try the whole - Menu which I wanted to do btw! We'll be back great place meet friends for dinner or Sunday Brunch!

Yelp
After visiting their other location, I knew I had to be at the grand opening of their Soho location. Again, so far from disappointment! There was a more youthful vibe at this location. The food was on point and I loved the decor. One of the owners told us that his little daughter helped with the design herself! This restaurant makes you feel like family and I've been coming back ever since.

Kris V.

Yelp
Wonderful food, atmosphere, waiter and owner. We ate there last night and were treated like we the most important people in the world, by the waiter and owner. They clearly were making the other diners feel the same way. The food was so delicious that I got up in the middle of the night to finish food I brought home! We had a pulsd voucher and they recommended wonderful choices and the owner selected a scrumptious dessert for us. I'm coming back to NYC next weekend and will break my "never go to the same restaurant in NYC twice in a month" rule, and return to Bice Soho. Thanks for a great experience.
