The 12 Most Romantic Restaurants in Palm Beach

"Bice, an outdoor dining gem located in its namesake Via in Palm Beach, offers a romantic setting for enjoying traditional Italian dishes. Whether seated under umbrellas for lunch or beneath the night sky for dinner, it provides a charming ambiance. Be sure to order the steak sandwich, which consists of Philly prime beef steak, caramelized onions, and melted mozzarella on a hoagie roll." - J. Miller

A Memorable Dining Experience with Outstanding Hospitality We recently had an amazing dinner at BiCE Ristorante – Palm Beach, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was elegant yet welcoming—perfect for both adults and kids. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single one was delicious: Calamari Fritti – perfectly crispy and light Melanzane Parmigiana – rich, flavorful, and comforting Penne Arrabbiata – had just the right amount of heat Black Truffle Pasta – absolutely luxurious and indulgent Bruschetta – fresh and flavorful For the kids, we ordered spaghetti and French fries, and they loved it. The portions were generous, and the food was served quickly despite the restaurant being fairly busy. To end the meal, we shared a chocolate mousse for dessert—smooth, decadent, and the perfect finish. What truly elevated our evening was the outstanding service. The staff were professional, warm, and attentive throughout. But one gesture stood out and made this night unforgettable: when we went outside, we discovered the valet accepted cash only, and we only had Apple Pay. Without hesitation, the restaurant manager, Mr. Jason, stepped in and personally paid the $5 valet fee for us. Even when we offered to reimburse him or charge it to our bill, he kindly refused and said, “It’s on us.” That small act of kindness speaks volumes about the hospitality and values of this restaurant. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Palm Beach and looking for authentic Italian cuisine, great service, and a place that truly cares about its guests.

Google
BICE Ristorante is set in rustic alley way in Palm Beach. It makes you feel as if you were in Europe. The people watching is fun! The lobster bisque is top notch and full of lobster meat. It’s a meal! Although the service was slow, the servers were nice.

Google
Top notch restaurant in Palm Beach! We started with the grilled shrimp, eggplant, and tuna tartare for appetizers. All were amazing! I shared with my husband the lasagne bolognese and the spaghetti and clams. All were phenomenal! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!

Google
The atmosphere is definitely fun and lively, but that’s about where the positives end. The service was snobby and inattentive, and the food was a huge letdown. I ordered the chicken and it was SO dry — borderline inedible. I asked for more sauce to help salvage it and was completely brushed off. No effort to fix it, no offer of anything else, just ignored. For the price and reputation, the experience was incredibly disappointing. Will not return.

Google
Great italian food here! I have to say the 4.3 rating on Google is off, this place should be way higher. EVERY dish we had was delicious. Some places you get good apps and okay entrees, but not here. For apps, we had the eggplant (10/10), grilled shrimp and tuna tartre. All were delish. For dinner we had linguine with clams and lasagna, both were great. A friend had the chicken, which she said was very good and looked good too. Beautiful atmosphere with outdoor seating available. Very nice service as well. I've been here before and it's always on point. If you're looking for really good italian this is your spot.

Google
Palm Beach atmosphere! We sit in an outside table - that was great - and had risottos and apple pie with ice cream for dessert. Wine was nicely cold!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bice Ristorante with a friend and had an exceptional experience. We started with the GAMBERONI GRIGLIATI, a delightful appetizer featuring grilled jumbo shrimp, arugula, hearts of palm, mango, and a tangy lemon dressing, all topped with a sweet raspberry coulis. It was absolutely delicious and a must-try! For lunch, I ordered the Salmone Tricolore, a beautifully composed sandwich with smoked salmon, creamy burrata cheese, fresh red tomatoes, and crispy pinsa bread. The combination of flavors and textures was spot on, and the portion was generous. My friend opted for a customized salad with calamari, shrimp, and clams, which the chef kindly prepared without carrots as per her request. The service was top-notch, with our waiting staff being super friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Overall, Bice Ristorante is a must-visit for seafood lovers in the area. The chef's attention to detail and commitment to using high-quality ingredients really shine through in their dishes. We'll definitely be back!

Passion fruit margarita Lychee martini Fancy shaped butter Ice tap water (quite nice, actually) Filet mignon (overcooked), mashed, asparagus Halibut & spinach in a lemon sauce Lemon, mango, & raspberry sorbet Drinks: amazing Food: flavorless & not filling Dessert: very yummy Service: great Atmosphere: nice, dimly lit, romantic, cozy Price: eh. Too much for the food but fair for the area We were 20 minutes late for our reservation due to parking stress, but they held it and seated us immediately.

Yelp
First time dining there last night . Best part, ambiance and service and the bread for the table. Food mediocre at best. The burrata was not burrata. Regular mozzarella. No flavor. 4 little dots of balsamic on plate . We put on our Rez it was our anniversary and no acknowledgment. Girl checking you in when you enter, not one smile to welcome you . Looking at her phone the whole time. Very disappointed. Won't be back .

Yelp
Excellent venue for a birthday celebration. The bar was hopping with a great vibe and the restaurant was packed. Victor our server was very great at tending to our dinner. Our food was served beautifully and our favorite dishes were amazing. We had a great celebration and will return again SUPPORT LOCAL A MUST TRY

Yelp
Have been going here for 30(?)+ years. I have always found the food excellent, authentic Italian cuisine. The service is always good (occasionally a bit rushed) and professional. The ambience is truly Palm Beach chic, outside casual, inside a bit more formal, the bar is fun, see and be seen. Don't come here after the beach, and bring plenty of cash

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with good food and attentive servers. Do not miss the browned butter butternut Squash ravioli if it's on the menu. Homemade pasta cooked to perfection. The seating inside is a bit tight so please reserve seating accordingly. Valet from about 5 pm.

Yelp
I visited BiCE this past weekend and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered the rigatoni and the penne, and both dishes were very tasty--well-cooked pasta with flavorful sauces that hit the spot. The flavors were solid, though nothing particularly extraordinary that would set it apart from other Italian spots. One thing that stood out, however, was the price. The portions were decent, but for what you're getting, it felt a little on the pricier side compared to other Italian restaurants in the area. Service was great, very fast and the atmosphere was welcoming. Despite that, I'd still say BiCE is a good place to visit. It's a solid choice for a nice meal, and I would return.

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants! Food is always top notch. The pasta is delicious! My favorite is the Chicken Milanese, don't miss out on that. You any go wrong with any of their desserts, especially their tiramisu. Staff is helpful and always willing to accommodate seating requests. Beautiful indoor space as well as outdoor. The patio is beautiful.

Yelp
5/5 I love this restaurant. Great food and bar with the best leche martini. Delicious and great location in the heart of palm beach
google avatar

Nelson M.

Yelp
The vibe was super chic but the food and service were not as good as expected. Large groups are a challenge and will give the restaurant another shot next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Yelp
The food gets better and better! I may be a creature of habit but I have to throw out 5 stars for the continously amazing; Eggplant Parmigiana, Pappardelle Al Telefono and Ravioli Zucca. Ask them to make you an Affogato for dessert and you will be off the races lol. I also snack on the multi-typed basket of Bread with Salted Butter throughout the meal which is fabulous. The ambiance is so spectacular in the alley- during lunch pretty models dressed in clothing from local shops walk by your table and offer commentary- The Servers are all such pros, they handle the room (in and out) better than any spot on the island.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
It was a lovely day to sit outside and have lunch. It's a covered courtyard, which is nice being that it's getting hotter out now. The bread basket was a nice touch. The pasta is made fresh. I had the Bolognese pasta and was very delicious. The waited was nice and attentive.

Yelp
Wonderful place place for lunch Our waiter was awesome continuously making sure we were ok. He referred what he liked for appetizers and we loved it. The salad I wanted had carrots which I'm allergic to so I asked for something super close and the made it happen it was delicious! The only thing that really destroyed part of the experience were these people coming in every 10mins to solicit & sell things to you it was nuts. It really killed the vibes

Yelp
For an upscale restaurant - standards of service and an ambiance of hospitality should be present... we didn't experience it when we visited BiCE. It's a beautiful restaurant specially for outdoor seating but the following points of service below could use an improvement to match their upscale dining category.. ** Host was friendly but no menus were provided ** we had to ask servers or food runners around for a menu and who our server was when we were ready ** no greeting from servers whatsoever, no warm welcome, nothing to match the beautiful weather of West Palm Beach. ** A guest needed toilet paper for the restroom and the staff handed the guest rolls of toilet paper and didn't even stock the restroom but had the guest do it herself. It's quite strange and hilarious visiting this upscale restaurant. The lack of hospitality, guest care and the flavorless dishes was definitely a let down. Valet Parking available.

Yelp
BiCE is a lot about the environment The restaurant is super vibrant and attracts an upscale eclectic crowd. The service is very commendable and the food quality is good. My take on BiCE is that if it were not located on Palm Island it would not do as well. When it's all said and done location can influence the diners and though the food is solid it is not of a top tier restaurant quality. I think it is worth a visit but will not be a go to for me.

Yelp
We had a late night dinner at the restaurant Monday Labor Day The service was impeccable and the food outstanding. We shared eggplant layered witg cheese appetizer and pasta bolognese with extra sausage as main They shared for us in the Kichen and all was delicious
google avatar

George S.

Yelp
The food, the service, the crowd and the ambience all rocks! Best of Palm Beach. Johnny the bar tender, Jose and Antonello at the door and Janet the Manager make it happen. Indoors and outdoors ambience the best in PB.
google avatar

Michael A.

Yelp
Delicious northern Italian cuisine with a lovely dining room, lively bar and a beautiful menus. Staff is on point and manager Jose keeps everything popping. Grab your girl ( or guy) and come have a wonderful evening.

Yelp
Excellent service, food and ambience. The maitre , Diego, give us great recommendations. Nos fascinó este restaurante. La comida fue excelente. Para mi, el risotto de mare, lo mejor de lo mejor.
google avatar

Larry K.

Yelp
If you are not part of their clique (sorry to use such a big word, hosts) you are toast. We've been going there for 10 years and have never been acknowledged. Not even a "hello". Total snobbery. But the bartenders are nice. And the food is good. But the "hosts " suck.

Lisa H.

Yelp
From start to finish, Bice on Worth avenue was an outstanding experience. The entrance, the staff, the bread, the butter pats, the food and the manager - all utterly delightful. I had the bolognese. Perfection. We were never pestered and likewise, never had to hunt down our waiter. Will absolutely return.
google avatar

Alex T.

Yelp
Nice place. Great ambiance. Sat outside in a lit courtyard. Service was excellent and efficient. I had the halibut. When I see halibut I usually get it because it's not always available. This was one of the best if not the best halibut I've had. It was cooked perfectly and was very moist. Spinach and mashed potatoes paired well with it. My wife got the taglionini( fancy word for linguini) bolognese. I tried it and it was delicious. The pasta as some of the other pastas are made on the premises. I would recommend this because the food was very good and the ambiance was special.

Yelp
In 1926, Bice Ruggeri opened a restaurant in Milan, Italy. I've had Bice on Worth Ave. on my Yelp collection forever. We made dinner reservations well in advance. We valeted our car & were warmly greeted, service was impeccable. The wine list was extensive and overwhelming. There were so many choices by the glass at all price points, it took time to read. The dinner menu looked very appealing. The seafood salad, stuffed artichoke, eggplant parmigiana, branzino, risotto ... looked wonderful. However, since moving to Florida I haven't been able to purchase fresh home made pasta. The pasta here is fresh & "housemade", so it is a must!. My husband ordered the prix fixe 3 course meal with pasta bolognese & I had the tagliatelle with asparagus & shrimp. We shared the beef carpaccio appetizer & a tirmasu for dessert. Our pasta portions were generous, we each brought food home. We dined with another couple that enjoyed their arugula salad, branzino, pasta & key lime pie. My only issue was that he restaurant was very loud, the group at the table behind us spoke very loudly. Although we were in the back against a wall, at time it was difficult to hear each other.

Clive W.

Yelp
I like BiCE. Had great memories on lunch a New York awhile back. Young feeling, fun and attend waiters, and a great patio that makes for a fun hang with the great choices. Menu was simple, with plenty of good choices. All our food tasted real and authentic, loved the bread, and sipping champagne outdoors. This is a nice stop if you're tired of walking around WPB, for just a refresher, or for a nice dinner or lunch.

Yelp
The Veal Milanese last night was probably one of the worst I've ever had, not to mention it arrived cold. I was going to send it back but our waiter didn't come around again until it was time to pay. There are much better options around town.
google avatar

Maura P.

Yelp
Service was impeccable. The food was amazing! Just know, everyone dresses up, even for lunch. It is upscale, yet again, the service is unbelievable.
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
Off season is the perfect time to go to Bice. The service was stellar! Warm welcome, wonderful server that made suggestions when asked and lovely food. We shared the beautiful and fresh carpaccio that was presented with lightly dressed arugula and shaved Parmesan and the prosciutto and sweet melon. There was an abundance of prosciutto (plenty for 4 of us). I had a special of breaded flounder with a homemade tartar sauce (acidic capers gave it a punch) along with more of that nice arugula. The dish was a classic and certainly an upgrade from the Friday fish fry's of my youth. The table enjoyed homemade pastas including a tagliatelle with shrimp and a veal stuffed ravioli--everything was tasty. Give it a try!

Yelp
Some of the best Italian food I've had in the area! Authentic, delicious, and classy. Went to shop on Worth Ave after and it was a lovely evening!

Yelp
As soon as we went to the hostess stand a customer complained about no service for a while. Then we were sat and found dirty silverware. Then another table complained they had something floating in their glass. When my cocktail came it was terrible. Then the food Came that was terrible too. Then there was a fruit fly in the pasta and we sent it back for a credit and they ended up charging us for it. Overpriced and food is terrible wont be back.

RJ D.

Yelp
First off the food is good solid Italian...but your on Worth avenue so everything is so you need to stand out in other areas. Ambiance is wonderful. Very palm beach, and classy. Definitely a place to see and be seen. But a bit cramped at times. Which brings me to service. Had dinner there last night and we sit outside. the waiter who was nice got jumbled trying to navigate to our table and spilled two martini glasses all over my wife and daughter and the glasses crashed in the floor. After a brief apology and an extra napkin he went on about his business - replaced the drinks he spilled but no overture to us for their stained clothes/ pocketbooks. Fast forward to a big dinner (there were 7 of us) and several more drinks. Upon getting the check, you're expected to swipe your card right there and the waiter is breathing down your neck watching the tip (which is digitally defaulted to a higher number). I was so flustered by the shakedown that I didn't notice that nothing was taken off the bill for the spill. Now my wife and daughter are dealing with the stain and smell (dirty martinis with blue cheese no less !!) on there stuff. The place is nice but the poor service and lack of class will push us to Bricktop or Pizza Al fresco next time. Both of those places have always delivered.

Susan F.

Yelp
We had hoped to celebrate NYE with dinner at Bice as we have for years. Never again! The place was a circus in a cattle car! Too many tables, too many people. Five of us were hastily seated at a 36" round table near the door. Food was average and prices doubled. Never again!

Susan k.

Yelp
Not sure what was going on Sunday Feb 16 but disappointing- the endive salad had no taste no nuts and for $28! Thankfully waiter didn't charge us. They made me a special linguine primavera which was chock full of veggies but again no taste! I asked the waiter was was going on and he said presidents weekend one of the busiest but this was my fav restaurant in pb but not anymore.
google avatar

Arthur G.

Yelp
We had dinner at Bice a few weeks ago, and it was delicious. Having been to Bice in Milan and New York, we expected the best , and the best it was. It was the middle of the week, and the place was humming. Upon arriving, we were seated right away, and if there is one negative, it is the fact that the tables are too close together. That being said, drinks, appetizers, entrees all served with an expertise one is expected to find in a fine dining room. Bravo Bice, we will be back.

Igor V.

Yelp
Amazing experience, from the service to the quality of the food. Everyone is attentive and makes your night really special. Our server Mr. C was an outstanding professional who made everything perfect. I truly recommend The Bolognese and the Branzino- best is town.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
Went here for dinner on a Friday night. Can't beat the ambiance, service and delicious food here! If you are looking for fresh, authentic Italian food with decent portions, this is the place to go! Shared the shrimp mango, heart of palm appetizer (forget the name) which was super fresh and tasty. Bread comes on the table which was very good. Bronzino meal is AMAZING and comes on a bed of delicious, healthy vegetables. My company got the veal and enjoyed his meal as well. Would highly recommend! Super Tuscan red wine was also delish.
google avatar

Wren F.

Yelp
Food -- honestly lacking for price point and caliber expected. Would this survive in the west village? Definitely not ... critics would run it to the upper west side. Service -- a bit disappointing as well given for a table of 6 that ordered most of the menu, the staff felt very pushy rushed. Ambiance -- your standard palm beach scene.

Richard B.

Yelp
Recently, there were a party of six. The restaurant indoors was extremely crowded and very noisy to the point of being unable to carry on a conversation at our table. The service was indifferent and the waitress not very knowledgeable about the menu. Several people got pasta dishes, and were very disappointed. They described the pasta as consistent with Chef Boyardee. Some of the dishes were better. Overall, considering the price, a very negative experience and will not go back there. All members of our party agreed.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Bice. Great food, service by Annaham (hopefully I spelled correctly) and beautiful ambiance. Standout was the pasta bolognese, veal ravioli and the Caesar and poached seafood salads. Nice portions and drink menu.

Jay B.

Yelp
This restaurant will not accommodate allergies. The service however was very good. When asked about their ability to accommodate allergies the answer was a hard no. They couldn't even serve pasta of any kind because it is contaminated with shellfish water.
google avatar

Chloe Y.

Yelp
Food has lack of flavor. I ordered calamari, beef carpaccio and veal. Calamari was good, carpaccio didn't have much meat. It was only a few slices and that's it. Veal didn't even have salt. Everything was fresh but didn't taste good. Service was really good. Our server was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is good. I wouldn't go back there since there are much better restaurants in the area.

Jeff J.

Yelp
Great fun, excellent food and service indoors or out. A bit noisy because it is so busy, but the happy atmosphere and food were wonderful. This place is a must for careful, informed restaurant goers and Northern Italian fans. Dress up! JJ
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Bice is a second rate chain restaurant with inferior food. I've never had a good meal there. However! If you like being put at the worst table near the kitchen, then this is the restaurant for you. When we spoke up and requested another table they said they were all reserved. Antonio along with the other male host are abrupt and far too busy to give their customers any politeness. It was just a very bad and embarrassing experience.
google avatar

Ross S.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for lunch or dinner. The food and the service are magnificent. Special spot on PBI.

Anita K.

Yelp
A bit snooty (got it no biggie ) the service outside very attentive and smiles at least for us . On the other hand, food was can I say terrible & disgusting . I ordered the burger di bice looked and tasted like they warned it up in a microwave . Not grilled on skillet, a grill, even an air fryer would have been great ! No it came pale rubbery and an off flavor . Immediately NO! My husband ordered the smoked salmon panini again off putting smell and taste , he enjoyed the fries ! We asked for the check and paid our check ! They asked us to talk to the manager based on our not finished plates ! We declined really what would that do ? For us that place is a big NO don't know what all the hype pomp and circumstance is for ! Ambiance outside is nice courtyard European feel . Very nice inside is from the early 2000's .
google avatar

Jarumi T.

Yelp
I'll rate it 7/10. Carpaccio was pretty amazing. I also had salmon pasta and it was a 8/10.

Elliot E.

Yelp
Service was very good Food mediocre lamb chops had no flavor Ambiance very crowded and sound was deafening
google avatar

CloudKiller D.

Yelp
Service was amazing! There we're so many people, but they were efficient and attentive. Food was very good. It came with a generous portion of Salmon in the pasta.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
A very over priced Olive Garden. Bucatini Cacio E Pepe, a very simple dish, soaked in olive oil, Beef Carpaccio with packaged arugula from TJ's, Parmesan from Sargent and I had to ask for olive oil, Swordfish Special Putanesca which was probably good 2 days ago. As for service , trying to recreate the Euro flair with the accents seems like an Epcot experience. They are churn and burn for unsuspecting tourists who think the zip code equates to good food. Didn't mean to insult Olive Garden...Bice was a fraud 25 years ago and still holding strong. Oh...as for ambiance the lounge lizards are entertaining

Mary F.

Yelp
Was there last night for dinner. I have been there before, and remembered that we liked it. Last night not so much. Service was good. Food was mediocre and that's not the usual there. Maybe their regular chef was out that evening. Definitely give this place a try. The area is fantastic, a lot of people watching and shopping.

Nancy B.

Yelp
Food was horrible and staff was very rude along with the hostess. Restaurant went downhill and is not up to par with other restaurants on 5th.

Natalie C.

Yelp
Always the best -- whether dine in or take out. I recommend the minestrone soup if you need something healthy, the telefono if anything goes, and the clam pasta for the mood in between!
