"I note that Bicentennial Park will host the Official Drink of Nashville competition, where eight local bartenders will compete and festivalgoers will vote on the libation that best represents Music City, making it a lively focal point for cocktails tied to local history, ingredients and creative storytelling." - Delia Jo Ramsey

This is a huge park with three separate play grounds. Pretty clean. Accessible bathrooms. Trees for shade and picnic tables. A little brook meanders through it. Disc golf throughout. Paths for walking. Large grassy open areas to play fetch with your dog or throwing ball with your kids.

It's nice to walk and let the children play freely.

A beautiful place where you can take your family, especially kids can enjoy play grounds, spacious area for evening walk and a large area for parking your vehicle.

When my buddy and I arrived, there were multiple family events happening with plenty of space to spare. We played disc golf and enjoyed the technicality and challenge of height change. Bicentennial Park also looked like a fun place to bike, fish, or just be outside. Bring plenty of water.

I took me and my children here and there's a creek that you have to walk a little bit to get to but we enjoyed it we got in it we took our dog it was awesome I loved it there's also a splash pad and a playground I love that there's restrooms right there the park is huge so there's enough space for everyone. We really enjoyed it

This is by far one of my most favorite parks in Northern Texas due to its enormous property that allows everyone to come and escape and relax. Whether it's hiking, disc goal, fishing, out -door flag football, to having picnics, etc.. It is a fantastic place to come and let loose. While I was out today, I notice the police out on bikes patrolling the park which is very comforting for someone who has children, who love going to the park and playing on the swings and the fun friendly equipment provided by the park. I'm understood by some local disc golf players, that the 9th, 3rd and 13th holes are some of the favorites to play on which happens to be located into the back of the park which makes it a nice hike into the woods.

I live down the road for this park. Its on its last legs. A lot of it is broken and vandalized. trash is always scattered around and the Frisbee golf course people 🙄 are always there. this is my closet park and I drive the 20 minutes to a better one for my kid.

I always love coming to this park. We hike out here a lot. Its very family and dog friendly. We went to the haunted hay ride last night. It is always awesome. There are a lot of functions at this park. My family just loves it. Fun for the whole family.

Yelp
This is a huge park and I think they've done the cleanup that Candice mentioned in her review four years ago. The splash pad is closed for the season (it's October 2021 now) but the playgrounds were being used today. Several kids were actively swinging and climbing on the various playground sets. The largest playground is completely enclosed by a low fence and has a rubberized base. There is a large picnic shelter with a few tables underneath that was being used today. An 18 hole disc golf course, walking path and a number of natural areas make this a nice park for accessing some nature. [Review 16041 overall - 226 in Texas - 1546 of 2021.]

Yelp
We had a good time at the park. It would be nice if the swings had some shade, especially when the temps reach over 100 degrees like it was today. The water cuts off every 8 minutes and it takes multiple pushes of the buttons to get it going again and I think one of the buttons (the one nearest the shaded picnic table) is non-functional. Also the water pressure seems weak. I find it sad that there are so many measures in place to hamper water flow. It's water. It's not that expensive. These are kids, I mean, come on. Do better. Fix the issues.

Yelp
This splash pad and playground is good for a couple hours of fun. My chief complaint is that there isn't enough covered space to sit while the kids do their thing and not enough of the playground is covered, making a lot of it useless during summer days due to being too hot. The playground areas are also geared toward older toddler age and up and it would be nice if they had an area for smaller kids to crawl around. I couldn't set my baby down because the playground is on pebbles. There is a big open field on one side of the splash pad as well, so it's conducive to bringing your own activities and the kids running around. Overall it's an ok way to keep the kids cool while burning a bit of energy.
