Always have a great selection and fresh stock of the latest releases. They let you take singles from beer on the shelves in case you don't want to commit to a full pack. Oh and every once in a while they get Pliney the Elder. Can't beat that! Good, friendly service. Staff doesn't bug you or follow you around but they're always there if you need assistance. Definitely my favorite place to buy beer. By far.

If you're looking for a beverage to strike your fancy, you've come to the right place. Not only does Bier Cellar West have a great selection, they're knowledgeable and friendly as well! My husband is a bit of a bier connoisseur. They have provided excellent advice in finding unique biers. Also, we did the advent bier calendar this year and it was a great way to try a bunch of new beverages. If bier is not your bevy of choice, they have an excellent selection of wine, hard seltzer, and hard cider. Stop in and check it out!

This place is easy to find, access, and exit. It's located right next door to Dunkin & ATT. They have a very, helpful and knowledgeable staff at all their locations. Outstanding selection of local and New England craft beers, most with easy to read information cards. Virtually any beers on the shelves can be sold individually. I didn't find any price deals here, but I didn't go with that in mind. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up 👍

This beer store offers the finest craft selection the state has to offer. You won't find domestic beer here, so if that's what you seek, keep driving. They also offer a decent selection of wine, cider and mead. What separates this place from many others? You can order beer online and pick it up when you arrive. A pretty big plus for the craft enthusiast that fears they may miss out on a release. Did I mention there is also a rewards program, as well as merch? Sweetness!

Interesting store. A good assortment of craft/small brewery products. Most are warm and sold in singles. Prices are average for the quality. Staff is nice and parking is decent (it is in a strip mall).

The selection is a proud representation of Maine craft beer. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Visited Bier Cellar West last weekend with my husband to pickup some local brews recently released. The store is in a stripmall between an AT&T store and a Dunkin. Lots of parking makes it easy to load your haul. The store is setup exactly like the Portland location in terms of how the beer is presented and what information is provided to customers about each. I personally wanted cans I knew the Portland location had and was bummed to see the West location didn't have them. We're generally spoiled when it comes to beer in Maine and its got to be such a challenge always being stocked with every new beer so props for doing as well as they do to keep up with changing inventory. Ultimately I got a 12 pack of Aslin hard Seltzer and was disappointed in the flavor. My husband got a few bottles of Belgian sours that are hard to come by so from that perspective we won. End of the day, check their IG account to see what they have in stock. Know they may not have everything but they definitely have something good for everyone (beer, wine, cider, Seltzer).

Yelp
I stopped in today for the first time looking for a local ipa for my husband. The place is clean and very fresh smelling. They sort the beers by breweries not by category, which I guess attracts people to try new things, however I spend more time looking than I had intended. I purchased a few single cans and two four packs, it's certainly not cheap, $41 for ten beers. Ultimately the lady that helped me was knowledgeable about beer, gave me good suggestions but next time I won't buy singles as they quickly added up.

Yelp
The one stop spot for beer/cider/wine to go to while avoid going into Portland. They have a huge selection from near (including areas all over Maine) and far (all over the US and other countries). The store is clean and set up nicely with every product having a printed description of it that also shows the price. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and will help you find new beers or wines based off your tastes. Also the best part, you can buy singles of any of the drinks (with a few exceptions of small drops) for a slightly higher cost for getting a single. Buying a lot of singles can raise the price pretty quickly but for those looking to try a nice variety it's the best option. Also with how often they get new releases/beers coming in you can always find something new.
