Biff Buzby's Burgers

Unbelievable flavor. A friend from this area told me this is where we're eating. This was such a great burger, the meat was perfect, the bread was perfect, the veggies were perfect. The sweet potato fries were also great. I will come here regularly, one is the best burgers I've ever had honestly I can't say that enough.

5 stars isn’t enough! I ordered the 8 wet lemon pepper wings with fries and it was delicious!! The wings were perfectly crunchy, flavor was amazing, the service was excellent! They are super clean !! Also one last note I love that they give you a good amount of sauce !!!

Ordered to go on the website, it said would be ready in 30 min. Got to the restaurant 15 minutes early, food was already done and waiting. We ate in the parking lot, so food should still be hot and fresh. Old fashioned burger was dry and tasted overcooked. The chicken fried steak was oily with the breading falling apart and the meat itself was dry and tough. And there was a really off putting after taste, which I'm assuming was from the oil. The gravy had a gel like consistency, not creamy. The onion rings were soggy and cool already. Fries were ok. The brisket egg rolls that some people recommended were very hot in the inside but not crispy at all on the outside. The brisket was tough and the flavor is mid at best. We had ordered the peach cobbler but was told they were out, so we got apricot instead. It was probably the best thing of the meal. Large drink was supposed to be 32oz (says it on the receipt) and we were given 20 oz cups. The restaurant seemed really clean and a nice place to sit, but the food makes it not worth the visit. Food is always good here! I got brisket egrolls and The Melt and tots and sweet potato fries. Service is fast and today not so friendly 😕, not rude but no smile.

One of the best burger spots in San Antonio! My burger was extremely tasty, the customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was inviting. I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tasty burger! 🍔

Food is delicious they have specials during the week. I got the mushroom burger. The meat patty was good and juicy lots of flavor, the mushrooms carmelized, lettuce and pickles fresh and crunchy the way they should be, mozzarella cheese to top it off. The onion rings light and crunchy. Price is definitely fair. I went during a car show, nice inside quiet and easy going family friendly. Outside on Fridays enjoyable music being played by an awesome friendly DJ. while you can see the unique cars. Flash back to the old days vibe. Display of Antique cars with music like “rock around the clock” playing. Overall such a great experience clean fun to have on a Friday night.

My first time here and what an AWESOME PLACE!!! I was looking online for a car show/club in San Antonio and saw this Friday Night Car Club so I came over here and I am really glad I am.here! The burger is really good and a good size. Ice cold beer at a very good price and they have Yuengling. The staff is super friendly and super helpful. Shakia helped me, I told her it was my first time here and she explained everything to me, answered my questions, was patient and on top of all that great help she has a beautiful smile, personality that made me feel appreciated. Shakia is the best gem in this super fun experience here! Also, the restaurant is clean. The car show is a lot of fun, lots of good people, nice cars and bikes.

The food here is amazing. You can tell everything is fresh and made to order. Their fried foods are incredible with super crisp outsides and well cooked inside that isn’t dry. We tried the wings (half lemon pepper and half sweet Thai chili), fried pickles, catfish, and the melt burger. They also give complementary pinto beans. Everything was super tasty. They are very clean inside, the staff are friendly, and the food came out pretty quickly. I definitely recommend this place.

Biff Buzby's is burger heaven with serious personality. Juicy patties, toasted buns, and all the classic fixings done just right. The kind of burger that makes you pause mid-bite like, "Okay... this is it." Fun, laid-back vibe with great service to match. Come hungry, leave happy (and maybe in need of a nap).

This places burgers and sides are good. However, the manager, Tana, is the rudest employee I've ever met. I got chicken tenders and they were super rubbery and dry. We went to get a refund because they were uneatable, and the manger Tana said "they don't do refunds" there is NO sign that says that. I don't buy from places that don't accept refunds so I wouldn't have gotten them if I knew that ahead of time. She argued with us, was super passive aggressive, she said "it's not too tough, I could bite through that chicken tender" just arguing with us about what the issue was instead of making it right. After much arguing she grabbed her wallet passive aggressively and handed us $3 out of her wallet to shut us up. By far the WORST service I've ever had. So unprofessional. The food (besides the tenders) was good, I was planning on coming back but as long as Tana is there I will not be giving this company money. The owners of this restaurant should be embarrassed to have her represent their company, it's a really bad look. If you don't offer refunds you have to say that, you can't say that after the purchase.

New Wings Flavors * Sweet Thai Chili * Kickin' Bourbon * Mango Habanero I had a chance to try six each of the first two flavors and I loved both! Each sauce had a fabulous balance of sweet and heat. I'm sure every flavor slap but I'm glad I got to try these two out. What stood out the most was the crunch and size of these beauties. These fried wings were perfectly prepared packing a super crispy exterior with juicy jumbo bites of moist chicken. Wednesday night is Wing Night where you can get 12 wings for $8.75! Yep, you read that right. And when you taste them, you'll realize just how good of a deal this really is! Best wings in San Antonio? ‍I haven't had them all so I can't say that. But these are definitely in the conversation for me. Which wings are your favorite in SATX?

This place lived up to the hype! The flavors were great and the service was quick without sacrificing quality.

Biff Buzby's is great! The team made me feel like family right away. It felt like I knew them. I love this about Buzby's. The interior has really fun decorations and a cool vibe to it. Also very clean! I ordered a chicken sandwhich, a burger, and a corn dog. It was all super fresh and full of flavor. If i lived in Texas, I would def be a regular at Biff Buzby's.

Best hamburgers ever! Very clean service was amazing but highly recommend this place to everybody.

Full disclosure... the only reason I chose this restaurant was the name. When I was a teenager, my nickname was Bif. I was meeting 2 of my childhood best friends for lunch in San Antonio and this place popped up. It slayed. Totally unassuming corner restaurant in a strip center. I walked in and 2 folks were looking at the menu and said I could jump ahead. So I chatted up the cashier and found out what her favorites were. She said the Brunch Burger (topped with a fried egg) was the first thing she had when she started two years ago and it was still her favorite... but the entire menu was good. I saw fried pickles... so I ordered those for the table. They were the slices not spears which is always preferable. Think enough to be crispy & they gave us 2 ramekins of Ranch. She pointed out the $10 combo - 1/4 lb w/ drink & fries. $11 for the 1/2lb. So.. I went with that and she recommended the fresh onion rings... The food is delicious, y'all. The burger was perfectly cooked... and had a nice char on the edges. The onion rings were spot on and I got to sample my friends fries as well... which were seasoned well and the perfect consistency. I'm looking forward to making my way back down to San Antonio to try their Chicken Fries Steak. The staff was great and we chatted a little bit. I asked if I could buy a shirt... and they ended up giving me a hat. Yeah... I'm their new #1 fan.

The chicken strips are so overcooked its rubber and can not even bite thru them. The manager on duty is the worst she's mean and loves to cut you off while talking and talking down to you. The place it self is ok on the inside super loud almost need to yell to talk to anyone at your table. Over all I don't think we will be back the manager Tana was so mean disrespectful.

Another fantastic family meal. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was hot and perfect. Best wings and fries around!

You can't get a better experience than this place. It's a great experience and has great food. Please check it for yourself and enjoy the experience. Now there's 2 locations to enjoy wonderful food.

The atmosphere was that of a military base greasy spoon. It felt like I took a step back in time when I served. The food was amazing!!! It was a long wait because they cook to order & it's worth the wait. Now the service is what's in question. The workers are nice to the usual/regular customers, however being a newbie, it left me wondering if I'd return. They delivered the wrong food to the table, then just handed it to who it belonged to after sitting on the table for 5min. The expeditor wasn't wearing gloves and literary touches every burger that hit the window, and it's a bit pricey.....not worth it, and you pay for the vibe a throwback to Al's diner from happy days.

Sorry, but this place must've gotten a new owner. Food just really wasn't all that great. Overpriced. The guy was nice enough, but I definitely won't be back..

Always a tasty burger, regardless of what you order. The fries are really good, and the fried pickles too. The staff is always friendly too.

Shout out to Biff Buzzby @Brain Brew. Food is consistently good and trivia is fun on Sundays at 6pm at the Topperwein spot!

Inconsistent Experience--Great First Visit, but Disappointing Return We visited twice in one week, and the experiences couldn't have been more different. Our first visit was easily 4/5 stars--the burger and fries were , perfectly cooked, and super satisfying. Unfortunately, our second visit was a major letdown. The multiple appetizers we ordered were soaked and soggy with grease, making them hard to enjoy. The fries, which were amazing the first time, were SUPER salty this time around--a complete 180 from what we had before. And the brisket egg rolls? Honestly, they shouldn't be a thing. The flavors just didn't work at all. It's a shame because we had high hopes after our first visit, but the inconsistency really stood out on the second trip.

I love this place. I've been a regular for over 15 years. They have Cruzin night every Friday evening from April through October, usually with a band or DJ playing music and folks bring their hot rods out for all to see. The burgers are some of the best in San Antonio. I highly recommend

This place is always a pleasure to visit. The cashier was very welcoming and helpful. Clean environment music is a little loud for me but that's because my ears are very sensitive. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich my sister and great nephew ordered burgers. Everything was delicious.

The food was great and the service was even better. The restaurant was bright and cheerful, and spotless to boot. The chili-dog was the best I have had in at least 10 years, and the buns on their burgers have GOT to be made from scratch!!! I almost fought my husband when he wanted to take a bite of my dog.... We were greeted by the Lovely and very informative Shakia and she even told us about all of the wonderful events that they do to gather the community weekly. What a great surprise tonight! We are definitely bringing back the rest of the family to try out more of the menu.

My family and I came here because Red Robin up the street said it would be a minimum 45 mins to seat us. So, we found Biffs on Yelp. We were all so happy that we went here instead. They were finishing up trivia. And more importantly, the selection of food and the flavors were delicious. The atmosphere was a bit of a lunchroom atmosphere, but clean. The manager came and checked on us. Overall very happy we went here over Red Robin.

i've been going here for a long time and recently i heard owners changed so idk if that had anything to with what happen but i paid 13$ for this and that DOSNT come with frys which i had to buy separately which is normal but for my chicken sandwhich to have this small of a piece of chicken is wild.... ive gotten this sandwich for years and i was beyond disappointed with what i was given.

First time at this live oak staple. You place your order at the counter and then they bring it to you. The biffinator came with fries and their seasoned beans. We are trying to get our rounds in for SA BURGER WEEK! This combo was $10 a great deal! On Saturdays they have a car show at night definitely something to see.

Kind of hidden away in an office strip center and does not look like a restaurant from the outside. Once inside you see a very large seating area with a counter where you place your order. I expected more of a crowd for Friday at noon. The cashier told me they get a crowd Friday night as they host a car show in the parking lot. Lots of large model planes hanging from the ceiling. A lot of airplane art on the walls. I ordered the Old Fashioned Burger with cheddar cheese and an upgrade to sweet potato fries. I used my coupon from San Antonio restaurants Gold App to get $5 off the burger. The burger was hot and juicy and the use of leaf lettuce instead of tired old iceberg was nice. Still not sure about the big sourdough bun, but it held up to the burger and condiments. Sweet potato fries are so crispy. They are almost like the fries at Bill Millers, more like planks. Beans are cooked with bacon. I don't like beans, but the "juice" surround them was very flavorful. Someone's review said the food was very greasy. I have to differ. A burger will have a little grease because a good burger CONTAINS FAT. If you opt for fat free burgers maybe you should eat at an Earth Burger.

My husband and I stopped by on 3/7/2025 for a good juicy burger. When the burger arrived the meat patty was smaller than normal. I commented on it and my husband agreed. I but into the burger and almost cooked on the bite. The patty was dry, overcooked and no seasoning. My husband's was the same. We removed our patties and they brought us 2 others. They weren't much better, small, overcooked, bland and not even a pinch of salt. The patties were either pressed on the grill during cooking or cooked until medium then cooked some more. The fries were amazing. The burgers... not the same.

First off, the service is horrible! The women who work there look miserable and have 0 personality! They also took more than 10 minutes to just get me a cheeseburger and there were less than 3 families in the entire place. My husband and I ordered 2 burgers with fries and they were mediocre, at best, and our bill came out to be more than $30!!! No dessert and I ordered a fountain drink!!! If you want a decent burger, DO NOT come here! Go anywhere else; Burger Boy, Whataburger, anywhere else! Not worth it!

Greeted with enthusiasm and greet service as soon as we walked through the door. The young lady at the register was patient and offered and answers and recommendations for menu items since it was our first time visiting. The place seems like it could be lively spot, but it was pretty chill for the midday. Being that I've never dined here before I figured I'd try the Biffinator. If it has the establishment name in it, it has to be a flagship item. The burger patties were seasoned well and juicy. The additional items (lettuce, tomato, pickles) all tasted fresh. My only knock would be the bun. It seems that the bun didn't hold up well with all the ingredients of the burger. Mushroom and Swiss burger was great. Just the right amount of Swiss cheese and chunky mushrooms. The complimentary beans were legit. I would definitely order those the next time I stop, because for as good as the food and service was; there will be a next time.

A few months ago, I bought a Groupon for @biffbuzbys. We went for dinner today since it expires this week. It's another Daddy-Daughter dinner time. The traffic moved along to Live Oak so it didn't feel far. Tana was at the counter and I told her it was our first time there. I was a little disappointed when she told me they're out of onion rings which are supposed to be very good. I ordered the Buzby Dog Basket with tater tots for Dad. I had the Fish Basket with sweet potato fries. I know we didn't get burgers, maybe next time. For the dog, Dad still prefers the American Hotdog at Sonic but he ate it all. The fish was very good and lots of tartar sauce. Dad had Pink Lemonade and I had the Pacifico Clara. We shared the Cobbler with ice cream. It took a couple of bites before I bit into some peach. Tana was exceptional and even served us. We did feel welcome and cared for! If you're in the Live Oak area, check them out!

Came on a lark with my son. Restaurant was clean and spacey. Air Force decor with model planes from World War I and II yes hanging from the ceiling. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered jalapeño bombers and wings. Bombers were fantastic... try them! Wings were also delicious and reminding me of what wings were like back in the day. Lemon pepper!!!! You know, sometimes one encounters things that just strike you the right way! This was one of them.

We love coming here to eat as a family! Brain Brew Trivia makes it even better!!! They have the best cheese sticks and juicy chicken sandwiches!

Food was great I had the catfish basket fish was fresh and the sweet potato fries were amazing. Most of the staff friendly However the lady that took our order was not in a mood and made that obvious. No smile just mean mugging Ms Trenchpull vibes

This hidden place has some of the juiciest burgers and other sandwiches! They have a spacious, family friendly setting, have good prices (also lookout for Groupons) and a short wait. My kids and I have been there a few times and planning to go back soon again.

This place is the best burger I've found yet. Their buns are a touch sweet and so soft and fresh. I don't remember what the name of my burger was, but it had Swiss and caramelized onions. It was so good! 10/10 will be back

Update, Update, Update.... New owner(s) and it shows in a bad way! This is not the same Biff Buzby's Burgers. They changed the menu and seems like the recipes too. I went for my original burger that I always order and it was gone so I ordered a different burger and was disappointed. Even the jalapeño bread that was a huge hit was gone from the menu. My burger was ok but came with a cold bun that seem like they threw in on the grill to get grill marks. The meat patty had no flavor and was a bit dry. Sad to say another great restaurant ruined by new owners. A favorite of mine is no longer on my list to take people to or recommend. I don't understand why you buy a great restaurant only to change and remove what made it great! Oh well on to the next spot(s). The images that are uploaded were from the old owner(original) when it was good. This option is gone! I no longer recommend this spot!

So, admittedly it's been a few months since I've been here so I don't know if they changed owners, managers or what, but the usually friendly service, accurate orders and good food apparently flew out the window today I bought lunch for my staff so there were 7 of us. We tried to order online but despite trying 4 times, it just would not work so we had to call it in (fortunately they answered the phone which as you'll read later appears to be an anomaly). When I picked up the order the staff wasn't pleasant like usual - figured it was just a bad day - no big deal. When I asked for ketchup and mustard someone said they put mustard, catsup and all the dressings/sauces in the bag. Good deal. Get back to the office. My 'Q burger' (burger, bacon, grilled onions cheddar cheese and bbq sauce (also asked for jalapeños and American cheese instead of cheddar) end up being a burger with cheddar cheese and a tomato and slice of lettuce - clearly not a 'Q Burger'. The Battered Buffalo Chicken salad that was ordered ended up as a battered chicken breast (no Buffalo sauce or blue cheese) When I called the number (7 times over the next hour - clicking on their number in their web page) I immediately got a message saying their voicemail had not been set up - that was it. Also, the bag with condiments had mustard and 6 packs of ketchup for 2 burgers and 3 orders of fries. The food we got that was correct was decent, but if this order was any indication of new management or ownership or the new 'norm' - count me out.

You don't get much better than this. I went in with a Groupon, but a mistake on Groupon's end made it unusable. However, decided to give it a try anyway, and so glad I did. From food to customer service, the new ownership is invested in your experience. I'd dined on a Friday, and the staff came by our table to ask if we'd be staying for the car show. Apparently, Friday is car show day outside of the restaurant. I love classic cars! As to the food, it's got that elevated dinner vibe that hits all the right notes. Kudos for the beer battered mushroom appetizer. Great seasoning and not overt greasy. The chicken fried steak was everything you expect in Texas. The burger and friends with delicious and plentiful. And the cobbler takes you back to childhood delight. I can't celebrate the staff and owners enough. What was initially a bummer because of the Groupon snafu ended up being a delicious meal and people who made you feel at home. Plus, we managed to get some work done and see a car show in the parking lot. Vote with your dollars by dining here. You'll feel like you've gone home for a weekend visit!

Burgers were good and big portions. Food came out hot and fresh. This is a casual place nothing fancy. I would go back to try another one their Burgers. The jalapeno bacon popper appetizer we got was goof, but I think there was too cheese. Yes I'm actually complaining about having too much cheese. Lol they were huge.

Came to the Friday evening car show at Biffs and we stopped in to get some burgers. We ordered the Bacon Jam burger with onion rings and the Q burger with beer battered fries. There was a good crowd, but the food came out in a decent amount of time. The staff there was friendly and joked around with us, which was nice. As for the food, these were good burgers! Perfectly cooked, lots of flavor, and the patties were thick n juicy! They also have some of the best onion rings I've had. It's definitely worth coming by and grabbing a burger here.

First time here and it was quick service and great burgers and drinks. The tables are spread out and clean environment. I know on Friday nights they have a nice classic car and truck hangout in the parking lot.

i was a loyal custoner that was going every wednesday tim now. terrible service its a shame. i pmaced my order and watwhed a dozen people after me get there food. When i mzntioned it anf asked for a refund Kevin said none of them had wings. That was a lie. Yhen not 2 minutes later someone that ordered there food 25 minutes later with 40 plus wings was placed on there table while mine were not even started. once i saw that i demanded a refund and got out of there. I asked for the owner name and was told Francis. I asked Kevin why and he said I have no excuse. With that servoce ots a shame I will npt be back.

Friendly people excellent food & fun atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Oh yeah, they do have alcohol too! (I don't drink but some people may need a cold one!)

Been going to Biffs for years! Great burgers and the chicken sandwiches are the best with tater tots.

This Biff Busby's in Nacogdoches rd. gets packed in the outside areas by the play equipment especially on the weekends the wait staff told me,and we saw first hand also.We went in October and the flies were bad outside they have a few fans under the roof overlay sections but they were all taken with birthday parties.We had one of the few tables out in the open.The wait staff I spoke with about the flies said they haven't come up with a way to stop the flies.We will be taking OFF spray from now on.The food was good.No live band on the Friday night we went.Also the manager might want to put age limit and play equipment RULES in plain view for unruly children and their parents to abide by,we saw kids climbing on the outside of a tall slide and big big kids sliding down and walking up the slides.

I started favoring Biff Buzby's during Covid lockdown. I've still never actually eaten IN the store. But their burgers (and fries, taters, and onion rings) are delicious, even when Favored. Great burgers!

The gal at the counter was very welcoming and sweet. Went with the old fashion. Wanted to see what your basic burger taste like. Bun had a touch of sweet. Onions were to big to fit under the bun. Lettuce was wilting from the heat I guess but the burger itself was not hot. It was thin and lacked flavor. The crinkle fries were just hot enough but cooled quickly. Place is clean and pleasant enough but overall I doubt I'll be back. One last thing, the beans were not hot and undercooked.

Great food and staff my only complaint is that after complaining about beard hair in my sweet potato fries 3x they discontinued large orders of those and now you can only buy it as a small side. I was told by one of the staff members it is new management who made that decision to no longer allow large sweet potato fries as a menu item. I really find it not respectable to choose that over a different solution so that's why I'm putting one star. (Edited for higher score since they used to be better and food isn't too bad) And just because you still use the same potatoes for the fries and non frozen beef does not mean your cook is doing a good job like it was before your new management! Stop shutting down people's complaints with a half assed comment
