Google
First time visiting and had a great time! Good beers with many selections for all pallets, friendly bartender who was helpful, warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of seating and who doesn't love a keg christmas tree?

Had a great first visit. Beer selection has many styles for many tastes. Beer server was very knowledgeable of the types of beers and provided recommendations. Nice layout inside and good outdoor seating options.

The 'LIC' in Big aLICe's name is because the original brewery was in Long Island City, but has since moved here. Told the bartender that reminded me of Albuquerque's Ex Novo Brewery, which spent half its' life in Portland, Oregon, before closing shop and moving operations to New Mexico. Maybe these two heavy-hitting movers & shakers will someday do a collab. Who knows. Meanwhile, it is extremely important to note that their Copper Rye lager is so fantastic. You don't find a lot of breweries making rye lagers, and Big aLICe does a brilliant job.

Best brewery on Seneca Lake! Kyle’s selection of beers are top notch! The four of us are from Pennsylvania and have different types of beer we like, but all the ones we tasted for our liking were fabulous! We were still talking about it the next day. Make this a priority Stop along your way. You won’t be disappointed! 🍻

Google
So the reason we vote 3* for this experience is related to service. The server was rude ... didn't make eye contact made us feel like we weren't worth the time of the day. We had a flight of beers, a glass of wine and a Shirley Temple. We purchased two crowlers....the second server was much more attentive but didn't save the experience for us The beer itself, the Blasket Red was great. It was comparable to Richards Red but bolder and more body. I liked it. The Oktoberfest Beer was a flavourful lager with a slight hint of citrus (not like an IPA ...just a tinge of citrus). The other two beers were not noteworthy...can't remember what they were and have no opinion about them. All in all, I would give the brewery a second chance based on the one server but the other guy was either miserable or having an off day.

Great place a must if you’re in the area, solid beer, fun atmosphere & was lucky to see an amazing one man band!

Google
Great staff, great ambiance, and a good selection of beers! Absolutely love Big aLICe in the Finger Lakes. David is great. The place is a little small in the winter but spring and summer is amazing. Always plenty of beer choices which most are very delicious.

Google
Delicious high quality beer, with strong range in different styles, from lagers, to IPAs, and kettle sours. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing on Sunday night and received a warm welcome from the server, who took the time to explain the differences in the sours and IPAs on offer. He also helped out when there was an unfortunate accident with our flight. The taproom, both in and out, was bright and atmospheric, despite us being the only people there. Top quality all around, definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Home run. Stopped here on our way through. Easy going staff and good drinks. The atmosphere is laidback and I felt comfortable.

Yelp
Just a quick pit stop for a drink. I got the sour slammer...it was actually very good. Wish we would have eaten here instead of the Pete's place. Pizza looked really delicious. Perhaps next time when we are in the area. Great outdoor area and dog friendly.

Yelp
Friendly Service, good selection, tasty beers-I like having the option of doing a flight so that I can have a wide variety to try.

Yelp
4 of us stopped here for a drink before we went to dinner. We were greeted by Kyle who was very nice and gave me a sample of one of the beers I was wondering what it was like. I had the beer flight and so did one of my friends. We both had the same beers and enjoyed all of them. My wife got wine at a brewery and she liked it. My other friend got a Kolsch and he enjoyed it. The building is really cool. They had fire pits outside but we chose to sit inside where there are plenty of glass doors to enjoy the views. I really enjoyed Big Alice brewing.

Yelp
Do not go here. We were trying to enjoy a flight of beer, when out of nowhere the bartender started an unprovoked political rant. When we told him we did not agree with his beliefs he became enraged shouting at us so loudly we could not even have a discussion. He then brought religion into it. I was surprised that an employee representing this place would be so over the top and obnoxious. This is totally unacceptable, but he told me it didn't matter because the owners agree with him. Unless you want to be belittled about your political or religious beliefs, I would suggest you find somewhere else to go, there are plenty of other options with a more welcoming environment. Political views are best kept out of a business as not every customer agrees with their beliefs.

Yelp
A great pub just south of Geneva. It's especially nice in the late afternoon & evening because, being on the west side of the lake, you are in the shade while you enjoy their line up of brews ( & wines from Konstantin Frank ). If it's cooler they have ( real wood burning ) fire pits !

Yelp
Through Facebook I was offered a free beer flight. I was excited to checkout the place and try their beer. It was a Monday afternoon so the place was not busy so my friend and I thought we would sit at the bar and this way the bartender wouldn't have to go far to take care of us. We tried to sit on the left side of the middle and the bartender looked as us and said you can't sit there because I use that space to take care of my customers! Ok there was 4 other people in the place and the whole other end of the bar was open. I could tell right then she had an attitude. My friend sat to the left of me and that seemed acceptable to her. She then ignored us for about 15 minutes. When she came over I said I had a coupon for a free flight. She said I need the bar code and we don't get good service here and without it she couldn't do anything. I fiddled with my phone and was able to get it. We shared the flight because my girlfriend is not a big beer drinker. The bartender never came back and asked us how we liked it or if we needed anything else. She spoke to the other customers but never once looked at us or spoke to us. It was a very uncomfortable situation. I didn't really care for any of the selections that I had but I am a beer snob and love "The Other Half", "Mortalis" and "Fidens". She never came back so we left her a tip (which I didn't want to but my friend insisted). Altogether a very unsettling time. I know the owner must be trying to get new people to come into the brewery with free samples but if you have a bartender that is this rude you're going to turn people off. The place is really cool but I'm not looking to go back after that treatment.

Yelp
Such a lovely visit. Exceptional kind and friendly service and delicious beers. Especially enjoyed the meaty Imperial Red Ale and so fun picking a fresh, aromatic Cascade hop from the bines growing around the patio drop right into my WC IPA for an extra floral-herb hit!

Yelp
Service was great. Bartender had lots of recommendations for wines. Good music on sound system! We only drank there. Fun place.

Yelp
This brewery snuck up on us and I'm happy we stopped. I enjoy beer like other spirits. Upon arrival, the brewery's setting immediately captivates. The outdoor seating area provides nice views of the surrounding area --a perfect backdrop for savoring handcrafted beers. The ambiance effortlessly balances a rustic charm with a touch of modern flair, inviting patrons to unwind and soak in the natural beauty. The inside of the brewery is a small but you go up to the waiting area and choose a beer and or flight. I think they didn't do flights and did small pours but I sampled a couple of beers and then went with something that I thought worked for me. The beer was good. I like the outside area for seating. it's a cool brewery in the Finger Lakes. I wished we had much more time to spend at the brewery. They had Live music event and community gathering are a common occurrence at this brewery, fostering a sense of camaraderie among patrons. It was a good stop, because we've been to a handful of breweries in the area but this was one of my favorite stops.

Yelp
Enjoyed the atmosphere here. Wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. Cool place to hang with friends. They had a few sour beers which are right up my alley.

Yelp
All-around great little brewery tap room, complete with a wide range of brews, excellent service, fun merch, and a cozy venue. When we went, they were packed inside. It's not the largest indoor venue but there was plenty of seating. No food, so standing around to sip is fine. We sat at the beautiful reclaimed-wood bar and sampled from the varied menu, though we could've perhaps stood outside near one of the gas lamps. We were able to easily sample brew after brew because they offer the "small" portion - what looks to be about a 5-ounce goblet that is also used for flights. They had a belgian, a red ale, a few IPAs, ciders, stouts, a pils, and even local wines. Somehow there was ample parking so we weren't feeling crowded out, and it's near the center of Geneva so it's convenient. And the feeling is that it's a fun destination. Highly recommended!

Yelp
What a lovely new addition to the area. This location was a former brewery- newly renovated to perfection. Tons of parking and seating. Beer to go and some local cheeses in the cooler. Do yourself a favor and get a flight. I love the lemongrass kolsch. The breakfast beer is also excellent. They have a robust social media presence- love their IG account. It can be fairly busy on nice weekends and they don't allow busses after a certain time so be sure to call ahead during tourist season especially if you are with a crowd. Bonus points- dog friendly.

Yelp
Nice little place and good craft beers on tap. My wife and enjoyed the service and drinks while on a getaway. Highly recommend

Yelp
We did a u-turn immediately after passing this brewery because "Alice" is a big inside joke within our group. We could not have been more pleased with our stop. Pete was an absolute delight and could not have been more accommodating to our scattered group. The beer was fantastic and the venue was great. I would highly recommend this as a stop around the lakes!

Yelp
I had my eyes on this place since they opened in the spring, and it lived up to my expectations. It's conveniently located along a stretch of road with well-known FLX wineries, making it an easy addition to any boozy tour. The set-up and seating was great. Garage doors open up for an indoor-outdoor feel, and there is a tent with group games, plenty of seating and heat lamps. As for the beer, it also lived up to the hype. The sweet potato farmhouse ale was intriguing and the maple brown ale stole the show.

Yelp
Visiting the finger lakes with my husband - we did a beer tasting. It is a great place and and beautiful, chill location. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating and a huge parking lot. The flights (tastings) are preselected. We chose the classic flight- yum! The service was excellent- the server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. Took lots of pictures. We would love to come back here!!

Yelp
We decided to visit on a Tuesday expecting it to be be fairly quiet and it was. the site was greatly improved and expanded by new owners. Seating has been expanded and the view and atmosphere were great. The beer tender was very friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable of the beers, etc. We were also able to chat with the brewer about building and beer plans, looking forward to come back periodically to check on progress. We had a classic flight and a can of "Things We Don't say" IPA to start. Very nice hazy ipa and 3 of the 4 in the flight were excellent, one just not our favorite flavor. Two pints of Blasket Red were very nice. We couldn't leave without a couple of four packs. Overall a nice experience.

Yelp
Very good beers. Nice variety of beers. Local ciders and wines. Very friendly staff. Small tasting room with big overhead doors open in suitable weather. Canned beer for take out. Easy parking on site. Just south of downtown Geneva. My favorite beer is the Queensbridge IPA. The Vienna Lager was nice as a lighter smoother alternative.

Greg K.

Yelp
Great vibe and beautiful outdoor space gently juxtaposed against Seneca Lake. Two points off for jammin' the Lawrence a little too loud for my taste (unless cheesy nepo-baby PseudoSoul™ music is your jam, then you do you boo). Beers have won a lot of awards. One point restored for replacing the beer I tipped on myself free of charge. Love me some nano breweries that do things right. And this place gets it mostly right.

Greg U.

Yelp
Good beer, great atmosphere! Very friendly staff. Great place to be on a nice day, even a chilly one as they have tons of fire pits!

Yelp
As far as breweries go, you aren't going to fond many better than Big Alice. This is the friendliest bar staff in the Finger Lakes. They always remember our names and our guests. It's amazing the transformation of the building and grounds. You will have a lovely time here, and drink great beers. The ranges of different offerings is vast, from Porters to Sours, so there is something for everyone. Even local wines and spirits for non-beer drinkers.

Yelp
great beer: I had the lemon grass Kolsch so tasty and fresh! My husband had the Galaxy IPA and it was out of this world service : Caitlin's information and guidance helped us choose the perfect beer! Her service was the best! atmosphere : lots of seating outdoors , great landscape, clean bathrooms! location : close to Geneva and centrally located it's truly the best !

Yelp
Props to Caitlin and Big Alice Brewing FLX! Earlier we visited a nearby establishment and were turned off by the lack of hospitality despite being blown away at the breathtaking architecture. I won't name the place but it has real potential if they can figure out a way to play host. We ventured next to Big Alice. Caitlin greeted us warmly and made us feel like locals. It was clean, the beers were solid and the food truck hit the spot. We found the beer selection to be varied and great, something for everyone. There were activities to keep the kids occupied while the adults sat around the fire pit. Simply put, we'll be back. Thanks Caitlin!

Yelp
We visited Big Alice Brewery the other day. The beer was interesting with some tasty varieties. The outdoor seating was pleasant. The service was not friendly - the girl at the register was impatient and short with us, even though the brewery was not busy at all. We were not being indecisive at all. She made some snarky comments that made us feel unwelcome.

Cindy B.

Yelp
Love this place! It's one of our go-to's, whether we are entertaining out of town guest or just want to hang out! Brews are great!

Yelp
Any place that welcomes you with a cheerful "Hello, friends!" Is a place where you'll want to spend some time! Great beers that run from a simple Honey Vit to the punch-packing Blackberry Pomegranate Sour. Don't miss this great location in your travels around the lake!
