Pizza's and subs are some of the best I have ever had - I know a thing or two about sandwiches, I used to be part owner in my own sandwich shop. They sell pizza by the slice for lunch, that is so great for busy people.Their staff is very helpful and friendly. The only thing to remember is to call ahead at least 1 hour if you are in a hurry, much more if you have a group to feed. They have only one oven.

They are closed on Saturdays and sundays. They’ve also been closed Monday, Tuesday, and now Wednesday this week. In the past month I’ve been able to get ONE sub sandwich from them. I’m not sure how they’re going to stay in business if they’re never open for orders for pick up.

Undercooked, over cheesed (somehow) pizza. They never even WANT to make the pizza. Constantly “low on dough” that they don’t even make in house. Horrible service for the enormously overpriced pizza.

They have fantastic take and bake pizzas and the staff is great. They are so generous with their toppings you'd better leave it in the oven a few minutes extra to get the center to cook all the way.

It was absolutely delicious! The best pizza I've ever had! The closest humanity will ever get to the krusty krab pizzza!

Best pizza in Kodiak, great service and a wide variety of other foods.

This will probably be one of my shorter updates because I feel so let down. The pizza was awesome here. Crispy crust that stood up the weight of the sauce and toppings. Now, you can't even pick up a slice a pizza. Half the dough is still raw, cheese and topping just fall off... it's not the place it once was. Sad truth.

While shopping in the store we noticed this little gem hiding (we're not locals) in the back of Cost Savers here on Kodiak Island. We were hungry and we just wanted a sandwich or salad and BOOM!!!! These guys had both! We each ordered a lunch special with a half sub and side salad. Each of us ordered the turkey club with a side Greek salad. The sandwich was super! Thick sliced turkey meat on a fresh roll. All of the veggies on the sandwich were fresh. Usually I need mayonnaise on this type of roll, but not this one, didn't need it. The Greek salad was awesome, a lot of feta and olives! We will return while visiting for sure.

Soup pizza, Pizza soup. I'm going out the back door. Pizza was a big puddle of goop and schlop. No refund. I spent 50$ at your sub-par establishment. I hate you, why would you do this to me?

The pizza is great, my kids are always asking to go to big als. Don't forget a side of cheesy breadsticks!

Big Al's has the best tasting, best priced pizza on the island in my opinion. All take-n-bake pizzas come with a coupon for like $1 off your next pizza. This is a great fast dinner option in a pinch. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat

Best pizza in Kodiak, you also need to try their lunches the sub sandwiches are great have a salad or fries with it. If you are heading out on a boat, grab a box lunch. It is a full-days snack pack! Located inside Cost Savers grocery store.

I have been to Al's every time that I have visited Kodiak. The Italian Sandwich is incredible and so is the pizza. The prices are great for Kodiak. I never skip this place while in town.

Big Al's Take & Bake is outstanding. I have eaten here several times and was a regular customer when I lived there. My favorite by far are their calzones. You can feed at least 2 people off one of their calzones, and they're packed to the hilt with toppings. Also you can't beat the price! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Cal zones are excellent - enough food for several people (large size) or leftovers for a few days! Supreme was loaded full of all the classic ingredients - crust was great! Great eats for a Saturday night in Kodiak! Their lunch specials are good too. They now offer to bake your pizza or calzone for you for a small extra fee. Takes about a half hour and you can pick it up. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.

Good pizza, both take and bake AND the ones they bake are good. The salads are super yummy too. They have an awesome lunch deal with sandwich and salads that is tasty and well priced.

Bi Al's Take and Bake has great lunch specials. For $6 you can get a "half sandwich" and salad. The sandwich was enough for lunch and dinner, so I can only imagine what the whole sandwich must be like. I ordered the roast beef, which came with melted cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms. It was AMAZING, and certainly exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back.

This place sucks! Every time I call to order a pizza their oven is always full. Maybe they need a bigger oven or a new system. I wish someone would open a great pizza place in kodiak that delivers!

My favorite is the lunch specials. Whether you get pizza slices or a sandwich, you get a ton of food for the price, and it's tasty.

Best place in town. Their pizza is delicious. Best sauce. And they put a lot of toppings! The pepperoni calzone is really tasty! We also love their sandwiches. Half sandwich is big already and great price!!!!
