Big Brother's Burgers

Hands down one of the best burger spots I’ve ever been to! Big Brothers Burgers blew me away from the moment I walked in. The staff greeted me like family—super friendly, warm, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I ordered the pastrami burger and it was a beast—huge, juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection. Even better, it was ready in under five minutes! What really stood out was the service. Not only did they check in to make sure I was enjoying everything, but they also surprised me with a complimentary drink—just because. It’s rare to find a place that nails both quality and hospitality like this. Big Brothers Burgers is the real deal. Can’t wait to come back!

Update(4/16/2025): still the best burgers I've had in the bay area. Tried that mama mia burger they had. High quality meat and the best burger I've had in the area. Definitely worth a visit and at a decent price.

Best Burger on the Peninsula. No table available when we first arrived. But the manager made room for us quickly and we were seated. Affable Father and son team. The burgers are outstanding. Tried the Lamb burger this time. Very tender with a slight outdoor grill taste. Don't know what the sauce is. They put it on the lamb burger and it was outstanding. Sad day for me. No onion rings they were sold out. Suppose that shows how good they are. So I went with the fries instead. They were nice and crunchy outside, tender inside... And oh so Tasty! No milk shakes so had a smoothie instead.

When you walk into this restaurant and tell the woman behind the counter that you would like to place a to-go order and need the food to fit into your backpack while pointing to the backpack on your back, she will completely ignore you and your food will be packaged in a to-go container that's way too big. When you then remind the woman of what you asked for when placing your order, she'll rudely tell you that she cannot help you and instructs you to move your food into a new to-go container yourself. She'll then hand you a smaller to-go container and walk away. You then have to use your dirty hands to pick up and move an unassembled cheeseburger, getting grease and cheese all over your hands. There are no napkins in sight, and the woman is gone, so you're stuck there with dirty hands dripping with grease looking like an absolute fool. This experience has not just happened once, it's happened twice. After the second time, I sent a detailed complaint to this business' email address. Did I get an apology? No. Did I even get a reply? Nope. Big Brothers Burgers makes decent food, but the people working in the restaurant are wholly incompetent. They are rude and lack the ability to think with any degree of intelligence. It is not difficult to put a simple classic cheeseburger in the smaller of the two to-go containers that the restaurant stocks. The fact that Big Brothers Burgers not only refuses this request, but then forces me to transfer my food myself to a new to-go container is completely unacceptable. I will never be visiting this business again for as long as it exists.

Nice little burger joint in Redwood City. I had the Western Steak Sandwich + Onion Rings... they were both great! Sweet Potato Fries were good, they have 3 T.V.'s. The burgers looked fire, I'll go back to try those. Excellent service, they checked up on us a few times.

Great classic burger! My kid enjoyed the grilled cheese and the onion rings and fries were fresh and crispy. Good and friendly service.

Great spot with awesome food and great service. The burger is so good and portions are great for the price. The owners are very friendly and the service is great. Great atmosphere as well. Definitely coming back.
