We had Big Burrito cater our wedding (120 guests) and they were wonderful to work with! The food was amazing and the staff was top-notch. Highly recommend them for a large event.

We had Big Burrito cater our wedding and they did an amazing job. The food was super delicious - many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (we agreed!). The staff was super attentive, organized, and professional throughout the night. Our venue didn't have a kitchen/oven/refrigerator, etc. available, and Big Burrito was able to set up an entire mobile kitchen and cook the food perfectly. We worked closely with Danielle and she was very organized and responsive. She also helped us coordinate with other rental vendors and provided helpful guidance on our selections. We'd highly recommend Big Burrito Catering for your wedding or event, they were awesome!!

WOW. The best catering experience I've had. We used Big Catering for our wedding (05/27/2022) at Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens. We chose dinner stations of pastas, meats, perogies, desserts, you name it. The first thing people talk about our wedding is the food. It was to DIE for. Guests were so thrilled with the unique offerings and the set up. Big Catering staff was absolutely incredible. From the chefs to the bartenders, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. From day 1 they were so easy to work with, flexible with menu options, amazing tasting sessions, and just fun to be around. We know we will be talking about this food for many years to come and just so thankful we had such a great group there for us. I will recommend this group to anyone and everything, they are truly the best in the biz

We recently used big Burrito to cater a major lifecycle event dinner celebration. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the service throughout the evening. Several people remarked that they couldn’t believe the appetizer servers were trailed by another person who was collecting their toothpicks and napkins. Our dinner menu relied on a station configuration with cuisine from multiple big Burrito restaurants. The staff were friendly and well-trained. The big Burrito team made sure that our guests enjoyed delicious food and exceptional service. Big Burrito catered our wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. The food was excellent and unique, we had so many comments on how good it was. Danielle and Robin were wonderful to work with and the service staff was top notch: professional, attentive, and kind. Big catering was absolutely amazing. They were so easy and accommodating to work with. They allowed us to make a custom late night snack and helped to have all fo the ingredients for our signature drinks. The food was absolutely incredible and cooked perfectly. Some of the best and most flavorful wedding food we have ever had. Beyond that, the service was OUTSTANDING! The servers were folding napkins when people got up, taking drink orders so people didn’t have to get up and go the bar. Honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect, but they exceeded all of our expectations. They truly went above and beyond and we cannot recommend them enough!

Big Catering provided the food for my wedding reception a few weeks ago, and they were wonderful! We couldn't have been happier with the catering. The food was delicious, the servers were friendly and efficient, and the entire team did a great job taking care of our guests. We got tons of compliments on the food! One brave server even came outside in the freezing cold (single digit temperatures and windy!) to offer hors d'oeuvres to the wedding party while we took photos and was kind and helpful the entire time.

So I have been supporting and enjoying all big burritos concepts since day one but I was enraged when I heard the other day that there employs have been told that if they are feeling sick or under the weather to just get some rest and power through. I'm not sure if this is a corporate policy, but with this being flu season, I would think a they would take every and any step to keep not only their entire staff but their customers safe from being exposed. I have been a corporate manager in the same industry in the past and this type of management enrages me. I have also heard that are told if they are having mental or hormonal issues they should deal with them on their day off. Im not sure corporately who manages the managers but they really need to do a better job at appreciating their employees and customers and the city that has made them a possibility.

Big Burrito aka Big Catering did a superlative job for a reception I organized this spring. The food came from Alta Via in Fox Chapel, and it was delicious. Robin at Big Catering helped me select menu items, understand quantities and prices, and confirm all details. I asked for the food to be delivered and set up (we did not need servers during the reception). The delivery arrived exactly on time, and setup was perfect. The guests enjoyed the sight and aroma of the beautiful buffet. The delicious selections encouraged people to sit and chat, and then wander back to the buffet for another helping. We received many compliments about the wonderful food. Everything was packaged sturdily. Our family was able to take very tasty leftovers home and enjoy them. I highly recommend Big Burrito for catering, and Alta Via for menu selections.

We had Big Burrito Cater our wedding celebration party in the summer at everything was excellent. You can choose from any of the menus from their restaurants - Casbah, Mad Mex, Eleven, Kaya, Alta Via, Soba - and there are so many options for food and if you want full service or just drop off. The cookie table was a hit!

Our guests raved about the food at our wedding. So many people said it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and we 100% agree. It's a difficult feat to serve filet mignon and crab cakes to almost 200 guests and have it come out perfectly, but Big Burrito is the best in the business. Not only that, but they also brought in a mobile kitchen as well. Danielle was fantastic to work with, and coordinated with our other vendors to make the day perfect. If you want your guests to be so impressed, you can trust Big Burrito to execute on the very difficult feat of serving so many to absolute perfection. Thank you Big Burrito and Danielle!! I've used Big Burrito for drop-off lunch catering a few times for 150-200 guests over the past few years. They've been extremely reliable and the food was well received by my guests. I've mostly stuck with the entrees from Mad Mex. Setting up the orders and billing and communication have been very good. The deliveries have always been on time. My orders have been burritos, salad, and chips and salsa. The burritos have been well built and the salads fresh. I've also attended a few Big Burrito catered events with items from Kaya and Casbah as well. I've enjoyed the food they've provided. The cheese tables from Casbah are amazing.

We used Big Burrito for our wedding of about 120 people at MuseumLab and Danielle Cain was amazing to work with - professional, quick to respond, and executed an amazing wedding from appetizers to bar tending to the plated dinner. Our tasting was such a fun experience and planning up until the wedding was simple. On the day of the wedding, the staff was so kind, professional, and on top of every detail. Danielle could not have run a more flawless evening and our guests cannot stop talking about how amazing the food and service was. I love Big Burrito. They catered my wedding and were fantastic. Caroline was our main contact. She really listened to what we wanted, worked within our price range, and had great ideas. She returned phone calls promptly and communicated well with all of our vendors. The wait staff provided impeccable service. The food looked and tasted great. Need I say more? We still stay in touch even after my wedding is over!

Danielle Cain was such an amazing professional to work with from beginning to end. Amazing communication, follow up, and promptness during our back and forth planning my Engagement Party. Staff was on time, professional, and made it look like there was never a party by the time they left (house was spotless). Danielle stayed until the very end and even put on a chef's coat and was helping in the kitchen, which, as a coordinator, is totally above and beyond the call of duty. Food was fantastic. Would hire them again and work with Danielle again in a heartbeat!

They catered our wedding, and the food was exceptional--an uncommonly well executed catered meal, and they worked with us extensively to create a seasonal menu in Pittsburgh in the winter, no small feat. The service at the event was terrific as well. Some of the communication leading up to the event left a bit more to be desired. There was a fair bit of unnecessary back and forth, extra work for us in the final days because they missed things or told us one thing and told the venue another, having to ask the same question several times to get an answer, small details that were off at the event... Still five stars, however; the food and the day-of service were that good.

Big Catering took care of our wedding in an exceptional way. They handled all the details including food, table/chair rental, linens, silverware, etc. And they also gave us sage advice regarding the musician and floral arrangements. After the event, the guests took great pains to tell us how much they loved the food and service. This is a terrific company to work with.
