Big Chicken

Super delicious!!! Their special sauce is really good, kind of reminds me of Zaxby’s sauce. Wish there was a bit more seasoning overall, but the chicken was really crispy and fresh. Mac & cheese was superrrr cheesy as well, got all this food for about $20!

Hands down the best chicken sandwich I've ever had! I got the Ultimate Shaqed up with bacon and... I feel like it was R rated in here for a moment. The sauces here make the amazing chicken even better and I am adding an updated photo so you have visual representation of which sauces are the best in our opinion 😂

They get a 5 across the board that food was so damn good I'm having second thoughts on Popeyes now....Lol first time ever eaten here and I was very impressed I had that shack burger with the jalapeno slaw and chicken tenders yummy yummy yummy yummy And they have crinkle fries woohoo

I was told Shaq has a chicken place in Renton so I had to go see. I had recently eaten so I couldn't really dig in. I got a Mac and Cheese side and a Salted Caramel Shake. The mac and cheese has a very nice balance of the macaroni and the cheese. The cheese isn't gooey or too thick. You can choose crushed Cheese Its as a crunchy topping, I did. I preferred to kinda stir mine in. Try that! The shake is real ice cream. None of that McDonald's fake ice cream shake that's literally designed to make u more thirsty. Actual caramel and something crunchy in the shake. To summarize... I'm going back several times. Next day: Ok, I've gone back now and bought a regular chicken sandwich and added lettuce, tomato and bacon. The breading on the chicken slice is good and a bit unique. This is nearly a meal on its own! I wish they'd have a senior citizen discount cause I'd come more often. I'm a Shaq fan so this was worth a try but personally I can't afford to eat out very much. A couple bucks makes a huge difference for me. It's sad that it's that way for so many senior citizens. I'll be back but not as often as I'd like.

I love this place! It's the best fast food restaurant in the world. The food is well made and thoughtful. My kids and I have enjoyed everything we have eaten at Big Chicken. It's so good it's hard to pick a favorite! The milk shakes are amazing. The chicken is perfect. The sauces are on point! Try the NC mustard sauce. You won't regret it. The only negatives? We miss the big fries, and I always want to eat more than I can.

I'm going to give 5 stars to this location because it's deserved. The food was good, the service was great and the place was very clean with an inviting atmosphere. My last Big Chicken experience was in Gilbert AZ, and I was NOT impressed. It was newly opened and over staffed, with a lot of the staff standing around... I get it. I need to give new franchise locations a second chance. Here's to second chances, or maybe all locations are not created equal. Enough of my words. Check them out and let me know what you think.

I ordered Shaq attack with crinkle cut fried and a Diet Pepsi. The burger came out beautiful and tasted out of this world. The people are nice , it’s nice cozy fast food place. Highly recommend!

Food: 4/5 I got the popcorn chicken as well as the chicken sandwich. The batter for the chicken was great and flavorful. The chicken, on the other hand, was a bit dried and didn't have enough meat. So it felt like i was only eating the batter. Service: 4/5 The workers were nice and patient. Overall Experience: 4/5. Would reccomend.

Have ordered from here through GrubHub several times over the last year and the food was always consistent, but this week we ate in the restaurant. We were greeted by staff upon entering which was nice. We had ordered via their website; we had no trouble picking up our order from their friendly staff. Interior was reasonable, nothing particularly special other than one of their TVs happened to have cat videos playing on it (from TikTok or Youtube shorts, presumably). We had the classic chicken sandwich (good) and the Shaq Attack (very good) with fries (just fine--reasonably crisp & fresh). Large pieces of chicken in both sandwiches--really feel like the value is there in each sandwich. It's not the best chicken sandwich you can get in the greater Seattle area, but it's fast and consistently good. We'll keep coming back here.

Don't got on a busy day! If there's an event happening at the Landing, wouldn't it make sense to have more workers? Can here after an event and waited at least 15+ minutes and they got my order wrong I ordered 2 items. I didn't get my kids drink or bowl of fruit and the Mac and cheese was filled up half way - maybe a 1/4 cup worth. So basically I paid $6.99 for Mac and cheese that I could have easily made at home. I'll give them one star for the chicken sandwich. At least that order was right. It came with fries. Over $15 for an ultimate combo. Overpriced for a burger and fries and drink. I like their drink selection of sodas and lemonade. There's a kiosk if you wanted to order that way. This was my first time there and not sure if I'd be back. Their desserts look good and I noticed one person doing those and another manning the order counter and one packing the food. There should have been 2 people packing up food. The eating area was rather small too.

Big Chicken - Big Miss Trying to order here is next to impossible. They seem to be out of or the equipment isn't working for most of their items. The menu is limited but a quality selection when they have it. Today - no popcorn chicken (out) - no shakes (machine doesn't work). My advice is call ahead to ensure they have what you want or go someplace that does.

Exactly what you would expect from a fast food place. Chicken was okay. Not great but not bad. My boyfriend and I both agreed we like ezells way better. Would eat here if there were no other options but definitely would try other places before landing back on this

Used to be a fan of the novelty here, but I feel like corporate tampers with the menu every six months and it's a different place each time we visit. The original "flat" fries were a fun texture and now they're crinkle cut. The sandwich I used to get is long gone. Some stuff sticks around but gets renamed. On a recent visit I swear the breading changed but with everything else changing I can't tell if I'm imagining it lol It's fine fast food chicken feel like it's lost a lot of the soul it launched with. On the plus side, kid meal popcorn chicken (sorry... "dunks" now) is a comically large portion so we always have extra food to mooch from our toddler.

The man working in the counter was extremely polite and professional but I was just not impressed with the food. Had heard good things but it's just another fast food chicken joint. Definitely nothing special

First time visiting Big Chicken. Place was poppin. Always a good sign! Sandwich was good. I would use their breaded chicken with onion straws in a sandwich personally. It was still good. Strawberry lemonade was delicious. Mac and cheese was delicious.

Quick service and flavorful popcorn chicken. It's solid good chicken. We actually love the soda selections, it was a fun place to check in with the kids. Lots of shaq's poster and logo around.

We got two Nashville chicken sandwiches take out for lunch. Ordering online was easy and the pick up line was quick. I thought the chicken sandwich was big and tasty and I didn't mind the oiliness of it. It did cost over 11 bucks so while it's not bad but it wasn't too great.

I love their sandwiches! The food is always good here! I always order their grilled cheese and mac & cheese chicken sandwich. The service is fast, they have lots of tables and the restaurant is spacious. There's a massive parking lot.

Big Chicken is probably the best option in the immediate Landing area if you need something good and quick right before going to the movies as everything else pretty requires to be seated by a wait staff and only half of restaurants here is decent. Can't go wrong with fried chicken sandwiches, the perfect order for 2 is each get a sandwich and share a side of fries. The sauces are available next to the drink station with of course the house sauce being mandantory. I got the Shad Attack because it seems most appetizing with the jalapeno slaw, I know we're eating a fried chicken sandwich, but I still want some veggies in it. I've had Big Chicken one other time beforehand, not at this location, but still familiar with the food and menu. This location is located in the Renton Landing area, so parking should not be an issue. A couple of us from work decided to eat out for lunch and let me decide what we should eat today. I choose Big Chicken because who doesn't love Chicken! Plus, I didn't want it to be something that would take too long to eat. One of us weren't familiar with the restaurant or menu, but the staff members working that day were very helpful with providing suggestions on what to order. We each ordered a different Chicken Sandwich Combo Meal and were able to eat it inside the restaurant!

Every time i'm at Renton Landon I stop by Big Chicken. I'm so glad Shaq brought this place to Washington State. Just being able to buy Sweet Tea somewhere in WA is special! I love the their Seasonal Lemonades. Love the season on the chicken WHATEVER it's breaded in is BOMB! Love the jalapeño spicy slaw. The popcorn chicken is my go to but the strips are great as well! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming when you come into the store. I love the way the store is set up it's a great dine-in spot with plenty of seating!

Big Chicken doesn't disappoint. Delicious tenders, extremely sauced sandwich, and love their signature chicken sauce. The theming is fun, and there were a few unique drink options like pineapple cream soda.

Soooooooo much better than that other plAce. The workers there work super hard, please be kind to them.

Today is Labor day, the line was some what decent. They take the order pretty fast, but it took 20min before we got our food. They were quiet bust. We ordered Shaq Attack, Uncle Jerome with upgrade Dirty Fries instead of regular fries for a meal, and A Popcorn Chicken kids meal with sweet potato waffle fries. The crispness of the chicken from the sandwich to popcorn chicken are pretty nice, the flavour is there, not too overpowering. The waffle fries ok, the dirty fries comes with banana pepper, bacon bits, bbq sauce and melted cheese. You can add sauces, they have those near the drink fountains, they have: Shaq sauce, spicy bbq, sweet bbq and I can't read the other one. They have container and cap if you plan to bring them to go. As for beverage selections: they have soda fountains, sweet black yea, unsweetened tea and strawberry lemonade. Bottomless! Plenty of parking. Floor was a bit messy with food here and there. Restroom was yeah...has a fly flying around. Otherwise, it's great. Ps: plenty for parking in the renton landing area. They located across from Nibbana Thai Restaurant and next to Mattress firm.

It's been 3 days since I visited this location and I've been sick ever since. I ordered the "Dunks" and it was the worst mistake of my life. I don't know if it was undercooked or the oil was probably dirty but it gave me the worst food poisoning. I hate it here!!!

3.5/5 stars. Think a fast food chain specializing in fried chicken, then you won't be disappointed by the casual dining experience. I do wish there was some outdoor seating available since we had our dog, and had to eat on a bench somewhere. I came in Memorial Day around lunch time, and it's busy inside. Food was ready about 10 minutes after ordering, and I got my milkshake to sip on while I waited. We got a combo meal (a sandwich, a side + a drink) - M.D.E. (fried chicken with Shaq sauce & pickles, not spicy), sweet potato waffle fries. We also tried Uncle Jerome (like Nashville hot chicken). The fried chicken wasn't alright, not particularly juicy or tasty. I prefer the spicy one a bit more. I did enjoy the milkshake (Big Conductor) and the pineapple cream soda. Strawberry lemonade was another choice. Don't forget to grab some extra sauce located near the soda machine.

Enjoyed my experience with Big Chicken. The food was delicious and the chicken was tender on my chicken sandwich. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Service was excellent as the staff were friendly and helpful. I'm eager to return!

I got the 5 lemon pepper chicken with the chipotle sauce and jalapeño coleslaw on the side, it was very delicious! Carter, the front is really respectful and dependable Ambiance with sound is clean and wonderful

Shaq Attack! Shaquille O'Neal's new chicken spot is in town, and it was a solid place for all things chicken and more. My friend and I had lunch here at The Landing in Renton, and our meals were good. Big Chicken is a casual eatery where you order at the counter, pick your own seat and wait until your order is called out. On a Monday around lunch time, the place quickly filled, with families and those who seemed to work in the area and were on their lunch break. It's a popular spot. The menu specialized in fried chicken sandwiches, but they have tenders, popcorn chicken, salads, sides and desserts. There's even a dessert right at the register that's a cookie the size of a flattened basketball. I'd expect nothing less from the basketball star. I ordered the cobb salad with grilled chicken, which didn't take long to get. The salad was good, with avocado, bleu cheese and a bunch of shredded greens. I would've liked more grilled chicken, especially since it was thinly cut, but it was still a tasty salad. My friend liked her chicken tenders and fries combo, which came out piping hot and fresh. I'd come back to check out more of the menu, including trying one of the famous fried chicken sammies.

This place was a great! On par with Jollibee, my favorite fried chicken establishment. I don't understand the bad reviews but I think folks should give this place a chance as it's a new business in the area. The chicken looks like chicken tenders on a bun but it tastes a lot more flavorful and isn't dry like fast food places. The place is clean and I saw an employee cleaning tables several times during the 30 minutes I was in. Music plays classic rock, your dad's favorite hits like The Eagles so this is a dad-friendly establishment. Definitely recommend the Big & Sloppy. Mac and cheese with chicken on a sandwich is such a good combo!

WOW!! This food was out of this world! This chicken was so amazingly seasoned and the breading was perfect! The strawberry lemonade was an amazing compliment to my meal. And the big chicken sauce, SO GREAT! The fries were perfectly crisp but not too crisp iykyk . The service was great and the food came out rapid as a cheetah lol!!!! The store had an amazing theme of chicken and..... you guessed it, SHAQ!!! Me and my pals had an awesome time and will for sure return if we are in the area. All around an amazing time. Thanks for reading my in depth look into big chicken. So totally amazing!!!!!!! P.S. food was a little spicy and got a bit of the runs after.But that's my only complaint!

Came in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super friendly, place seemed clean. We ordered popcorn chicken and mac and cheese to go for a get together and they were a big hit! Tried the sliders while in the restaurant and they were pretty tasty. We enjoyed trying out all the different sauces offered at the sauce bar. Favorite was the Shaq Sauce. The sliders were the perfect sampling size. Would definitely go back to try more items!

I usually don't hold high hopes for celebrity restaurants but Big Chicken is legit! Uncle Jerome - Nashville hot chicken with lettuce, pickle, mayo. Pretty tasty overall...big portion, juicy chicken. A little greasy and could stand to be a little more spicy but I liked it overall. Wanted ranch on side and employee told me sauces were self serve on the side...which is awesome! But they only had ketchup and bbq sauces at the self serve. Their sauces like the Shaq Sauce are tasty though! Sweet Potato fries were plentiful and crispy. Local beers on tap. Overall decent meal. A little pricey, as my bill was around $27 for sandwich, fries, drink, and IPA? Would recommend trying though either at this location or at Climate Pledge!

We came here for a quick bite as we happened to find ourselves in the area. Since it was prime dinner time, there was a decently long line, but it moved pretty quickly. The popcorn chicken was juicy and pretty tasty. The fries were pretty good too! I do think the size labels "Big" and "bigger" are definitely misleading.. This is not big at all!! I know it's part of the Shaq theme but it was still disappointing :(

The milkshake station looks innocuous but must radiate some level of horror that only the Big Chicken employees are aware of. One lone employee was lost to the task though she fought valiantly to escape its pull. But try as she might, and she did try!, she couldn't find another soul to take her place. The tickets piled higher and higher around her and she evaded by refilling the peanut butter, shaking the milk container over and over and over, re-examining the cups, and then making the shakes completely out of order at a very precise, arduous pace. The line was long and initially fast moving. The cashier quickly input everyone's order as he avoided being sucked into the milkshake station's grasp. At one point it appeared as though the milkshake station would pass to him. The woman hastily peeled off her plastic gloves and dashed to the register. No sooner was she prepped to take orders did the other employee say something quietly to her and she went back where she had to prep again to make milkshakes. Ten minutes after ordering we received our food order. Twelve minutes after receiving the food order the shake emerged - number 82 coming after 96 and 92. Sequential milkshake creations did not exist this day and to be honest 22 minutes for a milkshake and it didn't taste like I envisioned a 22 minute milkshake would taste. Tasted pretty much like a standard fast food shake. We took our order to go. The chicken sandwich was tasty, but also odd as the thickness of the filet varied from quite thin to super thick - the outside edges being the thick part and the inside piece being thin which is probably why it caught my attention since it usually is the opposite. It was juicy and tender. The popcorn chicken was a bit dry and very salty, but my friend enjoyed them. I did not like the fries. They were wide like a steak fry but cut super thin so more like what I envisioned a homemade chip would end up like. I tend to like a more potato French fry than just a crunchy starch stick but that may just be me. I am glad I went, I am glad so see the space being used again. But I doubt I will go again.

First time here- Ordered the Uncle Jerome crispy chicken sandwich and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed it and think it tastes better than chickfila. Sandwich wasn't dry and the sauces were good. Apparently this is the spiciest sandwich on the menu but I really did not taste the spice. Either way, it was good and I'd recommend trying this place!

We were in the area and sheer curiosity got us in the door :) Once inside it has pretty standard fast food joint ambiance (with some expected Shaq touches). The staff were friendly enough, though it did seem there was an imbalance in work load, with one woman at the front seeming to do most of the heavy lifting (and some male staff seeming to have nothing better to do than distract her with images on his phone - I was annoyed on her behalf). All of that acknowledged, the grilled chicken sandwich, fries, and peanut butter milkshake we ordered were all tasty, the milkshake definitely being the star of the show. Overall, we thought this was a good addition to the area, and we'd come back (especially for that milkshake):) Pro-Tip: Eat the fries while they're hot. Pro-Tip 2: Treat yourself to a milkshake! They really are quite fabulous.

Not sure what all the hype is all about! Definitely not anything I would go back for. Not my cup of tea! Pop corn chicken was dry and so salty. Caesar salad left a lot to be desired. Only thing I enjoyed was their French fries and unsweetened black tea. Tried several of their dipping sauces --was not impressed. A little overpriced for what you get Service was friendly

Another decent chain chicken sandwich. It's good, nothing special unless you're really into sauces/dressing, which I'm not. I'll come here for my chicken sandwich fix if I'm in the area, and elsewhere if I'm not. Basically, nothing special to go out of your way for...unless you want the different sauces and dressing options... but good enough to merit your business if you're hankering a chicken sandwich. Staff were super friendly and efficient. I will probably pass on the fries in the future though. Mostly crunchy bits underneath the top layer of larger fries.

Thank you Shaq, very cool! Came here a couple times and tried the big & sloppy and the other time I tried Uncle Jerome's Nashville sandwich. The chicken for the sandwiches are massive and the thin fries are great! Very clean interior with plenty of room to eat in and it is always a joy seeing the staff, very nice people! Will definitely visit again.

So messy, this sandwich is. It's was okay. My fries were cold and I could hardly eat the sandwich it was so messy, I needed a lot of napkins. Was the chicken sandwich nasty? No, it was definitely okay. I had better Nashville hot chicken sandwiches - like from Sisters and Brothers in Seattle - their Nashville hot chicken sandwich is soooo good. Try it, if you haven't. Is it worth the price? I don't know. I'm kind of cheap with fast food. I hate spending money on it. So probably not. I'm a big fan of Shaq and I admire him a ton, but this location was a great disappointment.

Loads of parking and they've got a pretty small menu, not overwhelming at all! Service was fast, we ordered a lot of food and it was quite busy but our food came out pretty fast. We tried pretty much all the sandwiches on the menu and sauces are self serve so we basically "made" some of the sandwiches on the menu ourselves. The diesel milkshake was delish, it's super thick so it's almost like DQ or McFlurry where you're better off eating with a straw, super good. The chicken is more or less the same for everything but I LOVED the shaq sauce and their chicken is insanely fresh and good quality, white meat. My favorite were the sliders, they could probably hold off on the hot sauce next time. The big and sloppy was indeed sloppy, but I think I'd prefer to just get a side of Mac. The chicken patty that was on the sando was INSANE!!! The grilled cheese was a bit salty, I would probs skip next time.

Service is prompt, food comes out relatively quickly and it's good. Honestly, there isn't much else to say. There's a sauce bar where you can pick the ones you want to try, shaq sauce is good and so is the chipotle bbq. Waffle fries were super good, jalapeño slaw wasn't exactly my jam but it wasn't bad, got the shaq sliders and they were the perfect size. Chicken was huge, tender and super flavorful. Overall, it was a smidge salty and smothered in ketchup (next time, I'll ask for no ketchup)!

Food was okay but not really worth the hype. The prices were reasonable ranging from $10-$13. My family and I tried the one with the slaw and jalapeños and bbq which my daughter and I did not like, the one with the Memphis chicken was really good but super spicy. I went on a Sunday and it was crowded of course but most were already dining so we got to order quickly. The sandwiches all had huge chicken parties

I was in the area and suuuper hungry, so decided to finally check out Big Chicken, which has been on my list for a while. I got the big & sloppy chicken sandwich as a basket so it came with a drink and fries. The big & sloppy has fried chicken, as well as mac & cheese and crispy onions, so it was super heavy and can confirm I felt terrible afterwards, but it actually tasted really good. The chicken was fried and flavored well, and the portion size was decent as well. Fries were pretty average, a bit soggy and the shape was also kind of strange. I tried out the shaq sauce but didn't really like it so just ended up opting for bbq sauce & ketchup. Lots of seating inside, and service was pretty friendly. Food comes out pretty fast. Would definitely be back when I'm craving fast food.

Meh I honestly expected a lot more from this restaurant. The chicken sandwich game is fierce so you have to come correct if you're going to have them on your menu. I ordered the standard chicken sandwich and it was OK. Nothing more nothing less. The fries were weird as they seemed hollow inside. There's a bunch of dipping sauces, which is nice. I visited once and won't return because it was honestly a forgettable place and needs to come with better food.

We absolutely love Big Chicken and have no shame in the order sizes we've placed. Food has big flavor, the fry texture is unique (chip-like still crispy with some chew), Mac and cheese is on point, and the sauces are delicious. We've tried almost all of the burgers but my favorite is the Uncle Jerome. The only thing I don't care much for is the slaw. Even leftovers the next day taste great! It has been clean inside when eating in and we have ordered to go.

Four and a half stars but I'll round up. I write my Yelp reviews not based on the fanciest but how something compares to others in its same category. Like of course you're not going to get the same experience as a sit down waiter service upscale pub or something to that nature. So this is compared to other fast casual chicken joints- one of the best I've been to! The place was relatively clean, the line was short, the staff was friendly enough and most importantly the food was super quick to get to us but also fresh/piping hot and clearly made to order with any specifications we asked for. The menu items are unique, the chicken is well spiced/flavorful and nice and juicy/not dried out- my husband hated chicken breast usually and loved this. A full extra star to the fries- they're different/unexpected in their super thin almost chip like texture and super crispy and delicious. Overall, I'll be back when in the area.

Great food with excellent sauces. Not a fan of burgers but the chicken is huge and the special sauce is mouth watering. I will recommend Shaq attack and Uncle Jerome, yum! Wait time was 5 minute or so. This place a must try!

The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was good. The food was excellent and they don't have 50 ingredients in their chicken.

I came here for lunch while in between clients, and watching group after group pass by with bags of chicken that smelled divine. A quick google search and I learned this was Shaq's restaurant! I ordered 3 tenders, with ranch, Carolina BBQ, and shaq sauce for dips. For a side I got the mac and cheese. The only thing I didn't like was the Shaq sauce. It was too sweet, almost tasted like sugar added to some fry sauce. The Carolina BBQ, which is an aioli type, was amazing, and the ranch was really good. A lot of the sauces are self serve, but you have to ask for ranch, Buffalo, etc when you grab your order. The chicken is excellently seasoned, with black pepper and old bay coming through strong, and just the right amount of breading. The mac and cheese was true, stringy, melty mac. It comes with a cheezit topping (crumbs) which I think it could do without honestly. It doesn't add much to the flavor beyond extra salt, but it was still delicious. I would love to come back and try one of the sandwiches, or the Caesar salad. The ice cream sandwiches look delicious too. Staff was really friendly, the place was clean, and I only waited about 5 mins for my order. It's kind of spendy, but may have been cheaper if I ordered a meal. My 3 tenders with a side of mac was $15, which seems kind of steep.

This is the real deal. Ordered a crispy chicken grilled cheese and it instantly put a smile on my face. I even had enough fries to feed a small army. Multiple BBQ sauces to choose from. you can tell the staff here put some love and passion into this product and I am nothing short of impressed. This is no pump and dump chain, this BIG Chicken is here to stay. The quality of the food was so good, and the restaurant was clean and presentable (paper towels on every table!!). Next time I'm near a BIG Chicken, I'll be stopping in. Check this place out!!

Undercooked chicken on a sloppy sandwich. The Shaq special had great flavors though. The mixture of toppings went well together aside from the undercooked chicken breast. The avocado was almost non- existent. Not slices but smushed avocado like a cream consistency that was hard to find. The chicken was forgettable. I did not try the fries. But I did try the wine. It was dusty. I would not try again.

I was skeptical of trying this place because of some of the reviews. My advice is to always try something for yourself. Also, eating at the restaurant will give you the best experience. As with all take out/delivery services from any restaurant your food is going to be cold and possibly soggy by the time you get it. So I don't think it should be given a bad review for that reason. I can tell you eating at the restaurant was a great experience! It's a cute little place with plenty of seating. Our food was very fresh and hot. And it was fast for as busy as it was. Must try the Carolina honey mustard bbq sauce, literally put it on everything! The strawberry lemonade was refreshing also. Can't wait to go back and try other things!
