On the Grid : The Royal Pig

"The Royal Pig is probably the best-tasting restaurant on Las Olas, because the food is cooked with passion and it shows. Their BLT, uses fried green tomatoes and pork belly instead of you know - everything that normally comes on a BLT. And thanks to the massive bar, the nightlife can always be found there." - Nick Rourke

The 10 Best Restaurants in Downtown Fort Lauderdale | Eater Miami

"There is nothing worse than paying Las Olas Boulevard prices and leaving hungry. That is not a concern at the modern tavern hotspot, be it a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with sriracha mayo served on a griddle bun or its “king size” tavern soft pretzel. You may never see the bottom of one of its bottomless mimosas during its brunch."

The Best Cocktails to Try in Miami and Fort Lauderdale | Eater

"Another Las Olas staple, Big City Tavern in Fort Lauderdale serves up classic American cuisine, craft beer and cocktails in a folksy setting that’s equally as cool. While you’re at Big City Tavern having a good time with friends and people watching, snag a juicy burger or a pan-roasted pork chop. Pair those homestyle flavors with a refreshing cocktail. We recommend the Swimming Pool with GREY GOOSE L’Orange Vodka, muddled strawberries and fresh-squeezed lemon and lime juices. Pool floats not included." - Vox Creative

We stopped in while on vacation and were absolutely blown away—not just by the food and atmosphere, but by the incredible service from Ashley. She was upbeat, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like welcome guests rather than just customers. Ashley had great recommendations, perfect timing, and a kind energy that elevated our entire dining experience. Every detail was taken care of with professionalism and a personal touch. The food was delicious, the ambiance was spot-on, and the overall vibe made us wish we had a place like this back home. Big City Tavern truly left a lasting impression—and Ashley was a huge part of that. If you visit, do yourself a favor and ask for Ashley—you won’t be disappointed. Can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you for making our vacation dinner so memorable!

My mom and I went to Big City Tavern on Father's Day. Although we decided to go on I'm sure one of their busier nights, we were not disappointed. We were seated within 5 minutes of us arriving, the server came over within the same amount of time and the food came out not too long after. We did wait awhile for our drink orders but the servers rectified this immediately. The main course portions were pretty big and the appetizers were also a good size. The price point was average for the neighborhood. The food was delicious and George (our server) was pleasant. I will definitely revisit in the near future. For starters, we had coconut shrimp. For dinner, my mom had the Grilled Chicken BLT and I had the Bolognese with Penne Pasta. We shared their wings with the Asian sauce on the side

This place is so cool!!! The ambiance is awesome! We came on a Sunday & their brunch/lunch was phenomenal! Unlimited mimosa & peach Bellini were great— our server Liz was on top of the refills it was mind blowing! We do not have servers like that where we live! We had the meatball app & 10/10 absolutely incredible, could’ve had that as my meal alone!! I got the fried chicken sandwich & I was more than pleased— my boyfriend got the breakfast burger & said it was great, the manager recommended garlic aoli & sriracha mayo with it & my boyfriend said it did not disappoint!! She also took the time to give us recommendations of things to do during our 2 day stay! She was incredible!! 1000/10 experience would highly recommend!

Brunch at Big City Tavern was delicious this past weekend, and service by Jolie was simply amazing. I was craving a chicken sandwich, and their Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich hit the spot. The Andouille sausage skillet was also delicious.

Google
Ehh food was decent. The shrimp were huge! The desert sucked! Cake was dry as the Sahara even with the ice cream and whipped cream on top. Drinks we pretty good. However my drink literally slid off the table by itself. The server to was like " let me guess, your drink slid off the table" so this is apparently an issue I had the drink smell all over my dress. The table next to me ten mins later, drink did the same thing and glass flew everywhere. The busser cleaned it up quickly though. The server was just ok. I felt very rushed by him. He wasn't mean or rude but I could tell he really didn't want me there. I didn't feel welcomed at all. I prob won't be back because of him.

We originally planned to have dinner at Big City Tavern, but from the moment we stepped inside, it was a total letdown. The hostess didn’t even acknowledge us—too busy watching something on her phone to offer a simple hello. Off to a great start, right? The drinks? Weak, watery, and ridiculously overpriced. The appetizer was just as unimpressive—bland, forgettable, and clearly phoned in. The whole place had the energy of a waiting room: dull, stuffy, and filled with a much older crowd that only added to the lifeless vibe. Service was practically nonexistent, the atmosphere was flat, and the food and drinks were a complete waste. We didn’t stick around long—there was no chance we were giving them another dollar. Major disappointment.

Google
We had planned to dine at Big City Tavern, but after being ignored by a hostess who was too busy watching shows on her phone to acknowledge us, and being served an appetizer and two drinks that tasted like watered-down liquor, and realizing the place felt stuffy and packed with an older crowd, we figured it wasn’t worth our time and left and went to a different restaurant.

Yelp
Been here many times and again it did not disappoint! Sat on the patio on a Friday evening (superb people watching). I had the Lychee Martini, which was delicious, and my husband enjoyed a glass of Italian Chianti, which was excellent. For dinner, we shared the 14 oz. Ribeye Steak, served with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus--plenty for two. It was cooked to the perfect medium temperature. Sides were delicious. Our server, Daniel, took great care of us. We wanted dessert but were stuffed. And later we went next door for gelato . Wonderful evening. Will be back next time we stay at the Riverside!

Yelp
We popped into Big City Tavern for brunch and honestly, the vibes were on point. Chill atmosphere, great spot for people-watching, and you can't go wrong with $19 bottomless mimosas and Bellinis. My fiancé got the waffle (good flavor, but it arrived cold), and I had steak and eggs. Steak was cooked right but tasted like something you'd find in a bargain bin at Publix -- super chewy and low quality. The real star here was the service. Our server was awesome -- friendly, on it, and made sure our drinks stayed full the whole time. That alone bumped it up to a solid 4 stars for me. I'd definitely come back, just maybe skip the steak next time.

Yelp
We came to Big City Tavern for dinner the night before our cruise based on yelp reviews I saw prior to departure. I have never been to Las Olas Blvd before so wanted to do a quick visit. 3.28.25 6:15pm Server: Dan Table 25/1 I started with a Lychee Martini and we shared the Jumbo Crab Cake. Sauce on the side was delicious. We had the Lobster Mac and Red Snapper With Mango Salsa Special for entrees. I had a second martini. I tried the Basil Cucumber this time. I liked this one even more. Dan provided perfect, friendly service. The interior was cozy. We had a curved booth to ourselves and were not far from the open front of the restaurant. This was a great start to an amazing vacation.

Yelp
Went here for Mother's Day brunch. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. Got the bottomless mimosas which were pretty good. Sat out on the patio and it was such a nice day out, breezy and warm. We had the Asian wings for an appetizer. Our group had a burger, two orders of chicken and waffles, Cesar salad, and brioche French toast. Polishes it off with the chocolate ganache and brownie deserts.

Yelp
My favorite brunch place! $19 mimosa , aperols and Bellini food is great and big portions for the price.

Yelp
This beloved restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard doesn't skip a beat. With Chef Ladanna's talents, the new specials will give you a taste of the Caribbean flavors on the hearty dishes this place is known for starting with the Pork Chop Glazed with Charred Pineapple. OMG. To die for. If you need some spice, then the Chef's Jerk Chicken will suffice. Big City also offer daily specials and I highly recommend going on a Thursday for Bourbon BBQ Ribs cause these are fall of the bone goodness! Pair it with the smoked old fashioned and you're in heaven. Love this place and will keep coming back for more!

Yelp
After a shopping spree on Las Olas Boulevard, a friend and I stopped at the Big City Tavern for a snack. Seated outside, we dined on Lamb Kebab and hummus with added veggies, along with Fresh Fried Calamari. Everything tasted great and the service was attentive. Might even go back for a full meal.

Yelp
I came here for brunch and they didn't miss the steak and eggs and the crab cake and the dessert were absolutely amazing it was my first time going to brunch here and won't be my last and the best part is they offer bottomless brunch! The atmosphere is super cool with antiques hanging all over the restaurants walls the hospitality and the food was immaculate overall a 10/10 and would highly recommend brunching here. This is a great place for friends or families to come there's indoor and outdoor seating and seating at the bar.

Yelp
Food was delicious, especially the calamari. If you go, get the calamari for sure it was the BEST!

Yelp
This is a popular place for a great meal. I suggest a reservation for the dinner hour but a weekday lunch is pretty quiet inside. Service was great. The music was a little loud but not too bad. I liked the lunch menu and the specials were great. They have a half sandwich and bowl of soup special as well as a fish of the day and entree of the day. I had the blackened chicken Greek salad which was perfect sized in portion and flavor. Very fresh veggies and the pita bread was nice and warm. My husband ordered the Meatball Smash on a very soft bun and a nice amount of sauce and cheese. The side salad was fresh and the croutons were crunchy yet full of Caesar dressing. Their soup of the day was a white bean in a thick broth. It was creamy and served at the perfect soup temperature.

Yelp
Service was great. Sawyer was our server and he was wonderful. The place is beautiful. The food not. I had the jerk chicken and the rub was good. The plantains were fantastic. The red beans and rice were horrible. My husband had the skirt steak. He hated everything on his plate. I tasted the skirt steak and thought it was just okay. Certainly not worth the $35 price. The Cesar salad was horrible. The service was great but the food was not. We had the Islmorada beer and it was delicious. Sadly we won't be going back because the food was just not good.

Yelp
Food was meh. Ambience was quite loud. First course it look a while to get out appetizer, a charcuterie board which was the best part of the meal. Salad with salmon was tasteless. Choice of dressings was boring. Hamburger was thick and looked better than it tasted. For us as locals, this was a once and done.
google avatar

Yelp
Our visit for lunch was enjoyable. I chose the 10oz house burger with grilled onions and mushrooms as my order. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich was what my wife ordered. The taste of both meals was delicious. Both of us ordered adult beverages, and the Grey Goose Cosmo I ordered was excellent and strong. The service was prompt, and the bartender was approachable and well-informed about the menu items, providing plenty of suggestions. The outdoor seating area at this location is fantastic.

Yelp
This may well have been one of my top 10 Hamburgers ever! We started with amazingly fresh dinner salads and order the Burger and Meatloaf. Both were out of this world good. Fries were just ok. Fresh cut and handmade would have been better. Our server was excellent (Jolie), the atmosphere is classic and comfortable. The place was packed, yet we were seated right away in the high back round booths (which you never see anymore). The table next to us had all appetizers (meatballs, pretzel, humus) and it all looks terrific. You know I don't toss out 5 stars often but I was really feeling it here. Enjoy! Highly recommended.

Yelp
I've lived and worked near Las Olas for years and somehow missed this gem!! Maybe it is the unassuming signage? I found it on Yelp and I'm so happy I did! The ambiance was rustic and warm. The service was flawless. Our server explained the restaurant in general, since we were new, and the specials and what they are famous for. I had a Moscow Mule since they make their own ginger beer. Yum! It was Wednesday and one of the specials is ribs and bourbon. My friend had ribs that fell off the bone and Angels Envy bourbon that is his favorite. I had a chicken dish that was very good! We finished with cappuccinos and the Granny Smith apple and fig bake. Excellent evening from start to finish!

Yelp
We rolled in with a big group, and even though it was busy, the staff at Big City Tavern handled everything like pros. I ordered the burger and an apple pecan waffle, and both were spot on--super tasty and definitely hit the spot. Everyone in our group went for the bottomless mimosas, and the servers made sure our glasses were never empty, coming around often to top us off. We did have a little mix-up with one of the orders, but the staff sorted it out quickly and without any fuss, which was really appreciated. The parking was a breeze too, with an easy lot right behind the restaurant that made everything super convenient. Overall, it was a great time with good food, good drinks, and a laid-back vibe that made for an awesome outing.

Yelp

Yelp
Last week this restaurant bar hosted the Yelp Elite Experience Event and I was waitlisted and sadly could not attend so I wanted to take a look. Big menu with a large wine list and many dishes. The decor resembled big Texas to me. Massive place with tons of tables and an endless bar where we took a seat at the last two stools. The girl next to me ordered the Truffle Parmesan Fries which which was huge and looked and smelled crazy good for $13.50. We met with the manager Alex who informed us about the Sunday Brunch special with the bottomless mimosas for $24.99.

Nicholas M.

Yelp
Food was great! Service was amazing. Our server went up and beyond to take care of us. We sat outside and enjoyed the "people watching" while we ate!

Yelp
Came here late on a Monday night with a friend. We were seated right away in the front area facing the road that had the windows open so we could people watch & enjoy the weather. Decorations for Christmas were fun on top of their already amusing decor. They had a happy hour for mondays, half off martinis so super plus for us. I got the strawberry basil & my friend got the cucumber basil martinis, both equally refreshing & delicious but I like the cucumber one more. We shared the truffle Parmesan fries, big city salad and jerk chicken pizza. Everything was DELICIOUS! The ceasar aioli with the truffle fries was the bomb.com, great pairing. Salad was perfectly dressed and a great size for 2 to share. Now the star of the show was the jerk chicken pizza which I was actually the most adamant about trying due to its interesting combination of toppings but it totally works and is even better the next day IMO. Not spicy at all either, just lots of unique flavors working well together. There is parallel street & lot parking available to pay for as well as some nearby garages. I noticed they also have daily specials with items that are only available on certain days of the week. Besides the martini special on Mondays, they also have half off bottles of wine under $100 on Wednesdays and bottomless drinks for $19 for brunch on the weekends that includes mimosas , bloody Mary's, Bellinis and aperol spritzes. Overall great food, our server was very kind, present and informative as well as the food runners. Our server even boxed up our food at the end which was really nice as well.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite local spots. Great energy every time. We love Alex and Ryan, and they're always working. Alex has been there a long time now and never misses a beat! The food is amazing. Great pizza. I like their crispy chicken sandwich. If you like brunch, definitely a hot spot. Dark, fun and pretty consistently busy place from both locals and visitors.

Yelp
Nice spot to hang out. Indoor and outdoor. The menu has a lot of good options. Best part is you can bring your dog. I tried the soup of the day this time with the hummus dish and skewer. I felt the hummus dish was a bit pricey for one skewer but it was delicious. The pita was warm and soft and perfect. The soup was a black bean asada which was flavorful. They make a tasty watermelon margarita I asked for it to not be spicy and they did and it was worth it. They have a great happy hour and the servers are so nice and on point.
google avatar

Rajiv K.

Yelp
Nicely decorated indoor / outdoor restaurant. Restrooms could have used some love. Our server, while friendly was a little MIA throughout the dinner. We unfortunately waited a long time for the meal to come out too (this was an earlier dinner with not a large restaurant crowd). Not sure what happened. Food wise, I felt my shrimp and mahi curry was flavorful. It was more saucy than I expected, but good nonetheless. Apparently the head chef here is Jamaican, so it's the real deal. Quite a large list of wines, drinks, and craft beer. Tried some pizza crust and felt the dough was really nice. I'd return despite an imperfect experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Very disappointed. The calamari was soggy and they were out of Parmesan cheese. The happy is daily, but only at the bar and has very limited items.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful brunch at Big City Tavern! We had a big party and called ahead to ask a out the wait. They said they just had a large party leave, and would hold the table. We arrived about 10 minutes later and were seated immediately. JC was our server and he was super friendly and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals, which included steak and eggs, fried chicken sandwich and truffle fries, Nutella French toast , and the breakfast burger. A few people got the bottomless mimosas /bellinis, and I got the spicy watermelon marg which was fresh and so good! If you check in on the Yelp app there will be a little discount for your meal!

Yelp
Recently came here to try the pizza, since it was rated in the "top 100". The venue is right on Las Olas, and it's very dim lit, which personally isn't my favorite. I will say however, the service was wonderful! I had a very attentive server, and she made the experience. I tried a sausage pizza, and it was good, nothing to write home about though. I'd say this would be a great place for a late night bite on Las Olas!
google avatar

Yesi M.

Yelp
While everything else was closed on a Sunday, this place was open late. Though they offer a limited late night menu (pizza only), I'm glad they still keep open and provide food and drinks till late. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and serviced. We ordered a half pepperoni and half margarita pizza, which tasted great with fresh ingredients. It was quiet and somewhat of an intimate setting as far as ambiance. Overall a great experience and will be back.

Yelp
Experience: Amazing experience from start to finish. We had a reservation and they had everything ready for us, despite a full house and a busy restaurant. They were prompt and fulfilled our booth request! The service was a 10 out of 10. Very polite, prompt, and personable. I have several dietary issues and the waiter did not get frustrated with my questions once. Furthermore, the chef was extremely accommodating and altered a dish that is typically made with hot spices to an absolutely amazing mouth watering garlic butter sauce (again due to dietary restrictions). Food: I ordered the pasta special: rigatoni, chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, basil. The pasta was cooked al dente. Everything was perfectly balanced, and the chicken was not dry at all. Partner ordered the steak & two beers. The steak was cooked exactly as asked, the side portions were delicious, and the beer/cocktail menus are plentiful. 10/10. Ambiance: the atmosphere was busy, up beat, good music playing, but not so loud that you can't hear each other. It was a perfect balance. There is a large bar and several TVs that you can see from anywhere in the restaurant. Definitely a family friendly pace, but can turn into a fun night out in the later hours. They have an outdoor seating area. That is also excellent, right on the strip and perfect to people watch.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to see the game and have ice cold beer. Nice selection and good food too.
google avatar

Steven I.

Yelp
I had been here a few times before but I never knew they had a happy hour. I discovered they do at the bar, even on weekends. They had $7 dollar vodka drinks so I had a vodka lemonade and then a $10 pretzel for happy hour which was pretty large. It came with mustard and beer cheese which was super tasty. The bartender was very attentive to me and I liked how they had all the different Olympic events on the bar TVs. There weren't many people in the bar area when I got there at the start of the 4pm happy hour but by the time I left 90 mins or so later it was filling up. I would definitely come back!
google avatar

Yelp
This was by far our favorite restaurant to go to on our bachelorette trip. The server recommended a great jalapeño margarita. The burger special was so filling and had good flavor. The salmon and bolognese were also table favorites. There's definitely something for everyone. The place was busy but felt intimate in our booth.
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first visit, and definitely not my last. (I actually attended a Happy Hour event with Yelp since this last visit). At the HH event, I got a chance to try their pizza, but on my 1st visit, my friend and I had the roasted brussel sprouts, which were delicious with walnuts and fig balsamic, so good. For our entrée we shared their amazing seafood linguine, which was a generous portion with shrimp, clams, and scallops. They have a great selection of cocktails, and a pretty solid list of beers. The vibe is casual, but you can dress it up for sure, and the staff is excellent. I definitely recommend a visit.

Yelp
What a great spot. The food is excellent and the bartenders even better. They know their customers, and it shows. I've done their brunch, had a burger, and this time the chicken avocado BLT. TO DIE FOR.

Yelp
Las Olas Boulevard is an quaint neighborhood with interesting boutiques, restaurants, and unique hotels. And Big City Tavern fits right in. The name doesn't do the place justice. I come from a big city and a big city tavern tends to be a restaurant / bar that tends to be kind of cookie cutter, but this location is definitely not cookie cutter. The inside is dark wood and warm lighting. More of a lodge feel than a big city tavern. There's a long dark wood bar on one side of the main room with tabletops and booths throughout. While there isn't a private room per se, there is a long table in the back with four to five booths that can be reserved with the long table that seats 16-20 people. On top of the great interior decor and warmth of the tavern, the service is top notch. Our server(s) were attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful with all of our orders and demands. Everybody seemed to order something different and it seemed that everyone really liked what they ordered. I ordered the grilled skirt steak and replaced the sides with mashed potatoes and plantains. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked to specification (medium), mashed potatoes were perfectly smooth and a little lumpy (how I like them) and the plantains were soft and sweet - a great accompaniment to the skirt steak and mashed potatoes. A few people got dessert, but I opted to try another location on the Las Olas strip for dessert (Gelato & Co - see review) and all I have to say is that I wished I would have ordered dessert at Big City Tavern. The plus is that it is located across the street from the Riverside Hotel which means I will be going back soon. A great place for dates, families, small and large groups and a vibrant bar scene. This is definitely worth a visit or two or three or more.

Yelp
Wow this place was busy. So glad we had reservations. It has a fantastic atmosphere where the restaurant is open. We weren't greeted when we entered and service was average. The food was delicious. I had the Cobb with blackened shrimp. I was impressed with the taste. The bread is also very tasty. We had a good date here. It's a bit noisy inside and the table was wobbling. The server really didn't check on us much but we were lost in conversation so it still was a great experience!

Yelp
The food was a 10 out of 10 Service was great I love our waiter Alex . The theme low light atmosphere is great I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Christina D.

Yelp
I've been here several times and the food and service are always outstanding. Alex the bartender was sweet and did a fantastic job with the drinks and service. I enjoyed my chicken BLT (I added Sriracha mayo!) and hubby enjoyed his sausage pizza. The ambiance is that of a big, trendy wine bar, as they have a huge wine list and a sommelier on staff. I will definitely return, though I took one star off as the food is a bit too expensive.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews, but the experience I had tonight at Big City Tavern was so unbelievable. Eyebrow eyebrows are like huge I feel compelled to share. My friend and I were completely ignored for 25 minutes, while everyone around us was being served. At one point, the gentleman who handed us menus earlier came over, shook hands with the other four bartenders, and then walked away without acknowledging us. We tried to get their attention multiple times--making eye contact and even attempting to speak--but they just looked right through us. It was as if we didn't even exist. When we decided to leave and mentioned it to the host, she was shocked and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I agreed, and after five minutes, she came back to tell me the manager was on the phone. That was it--no apology, no explanation. The whole experience left me with a sense of complete disrespect. This is not how any customer should feel when visiting an establishment. I've been here before, and it's never been this bad. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The lack of service, let alone basic decency, is appalling. It's a disgrace and sad.

Yelp
Ambience is nice for dinner dates me and a girl friend went out to just hang out. Service was very good. The food was very flavorful. My friend got the lobster mac & cheese and she really enjoyed it, but it was very filling and she wasn't able to eat it all. I finished my food. It was a portion size. It was a nice fillet of the mahi-mahi fish few pieces of shrimp. The white rice was soft and cooked to perfection. The plantains were nice and sweet and the peppers helped the curry sauce because it was Little watery, but it had a good flavor, not too spicy. I'm native from the Bahamas so I expect my curry to have a little bit more thickness to it but other than that, it was fine. I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Big City Tavern is an iconic staple on Las Olas that has been around for over 20 years. The kitchen is led by powerhouse Jamaican female chef, Chef Ladanna Lewis. They have a variety of dry aged steaks, burgers, fresh seafood, salads and fresh house-made pasta of the day. There's something for everyone on the menu. This is always a go to spot because you're guaranteed to get a solid dish every time you go. Make sure to check out chefs two signature dishes: 1/2 roasted jerk chicken and Caribbean showdown rice and curry dish. The wings and brussel sprouts are also my favorite!

Yelp
Went here for a friend's bachelorette trip and it was delicious! Jocelyn was our server and super helpful when figuring out how much of each things to order. Drinks are also delicious!

Yelp
My friend (visiting from Brazil) and I were really looking forward to burgers at Big City Tavern, but unfortunately, our experience fell flat. Service: We waited for an hour for two burgers, even though the place was only moderately busy. On top of that, we ordered a bottle of wine and didn't find out it wasn't available until 20-30 minutes later. Our server, Kevin, was friendly and apologetic, but the delays made the evening frustrating. Food: When the burgers finally arrived, they were decent--juicy patties, good melty cheese, and soft brioche buns. Nothing spectacular, but solid. Unfortunately, the taste alone couldn't make up for the lengthy wait and wine mix‑up (we were hungry and getting hangry). Atmosphere & Value: The dining room is dark and cozy, giving the place a warm, intimate tavern vibe, despite how large the space is. Prices are in line with other spots on Las Olas, but with such slow service on basic items, it's hard to feel like you're getting your money's worth. Bottom Line: Big City Tavern has potential, but until they improve kitchen timing and inventory communication, I'd recommend choosing a different spot on Las Olas for a reliably quick burger and drink.

Yelp
We got off the water taxi hungry and thirsty and looking for a brew pub with good food. That is what we found at Big City Tavern. The food, service, ambience, and beer were all excellent.

Yelp
Fun and dog-friendly along Las Olas Boulevard. Received a friendly welcome from the manager who turned us over to Jocelyn who took excellent care of us. We had a table that was open to the patio but nicely in range of the air conditioning. We split the chicken BLT and it was plenty. Slice of chicken breast with bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato and mayo on a tasty whole grain bread. I chased it with a nice not-too-hoppy IPA. Companions split the pulled pork sandwich and proclaimed it excellent as well.
