Big Daddy's

This place is about location. The corner/ intersection it sits on is "Times Square"/ Brooklyn Bridge between The Marigny n Bywater. Not the greatest bar but the most visited by locals, in that area for a quickie to go cup. Sit there a few hours next door on The Holiday family stoop and enjoy the massive amount of neighborhood superstars u meet in one night. Or stroll thru in daytime at coffee shop across street n witness the Best musicians n artists in the city smoking a Virginia Slim. But please keep popping in on Big DADDY for ya cheap drinks nightly or Bloody Mary mornings. Tell them "Buzzy from ova' n tha 9th ward sentcha' here. " U get the first drink free on my tab!!!!!

The most divebar of divebars. It is so unspecial, that it's kind of special. If you just want a pure New Orleans bar experience, then this is the purest. Staff are also nice! 👍 It's cash only!

Pretty dark and dank and unfriendly. The bar next store who gets food from The Franklin was more upbeat and friendly.

The bartender after Bobby was truly awful. I've bartended 10 years in NY/lower Decatur and she was one of the most unfriendly bartenders I've ever encountered. Giving 5 stars because Bobby is a gem but I could do everything in my power to make sure people never went there if I knew that horrible woman was the server for the night

Good drinks. Good people. Perfect atmosphere. Came for Mardi Gras and ending up spending most of the day posted up outside Big Daddys. The place has a cool dark bar vibe and the cleanest bathrooms I used during the party lol but I am totally serious.

It's a laid back bar in the Marigny. Open 24 hours, a hang out for a lot of service industry folks and cool eccentric locals and transplants. Go holla at my boy Bobby or Christian for strong fairly price drinks!

No food, but Maddie and Bobby were fabulous. Inexpensive drinks and fun, charming, sexy bartenders. I'm a big fan!
