The seafood pot was delicious! Seafood was cooked well and the crab was stand out! The white wine cream sauce was a particular winner. Would avoid the chicken wings again as they were tiny and not whole wings. The hot sauce also just tasted like Franks. I’d be sure to try the bigger BBQ plates next time! Live music was good and the cocktails were yummy. Service was friendly and knowledgeable!

Stopped by Big Easy for lunch and had a pleasant overall experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was impressively fast. Definitely a plus if you’re looking for a quick and smooth dining experience. The food was okay. I tried the voodoo wings, which were a bit disappointing, there were a lot of small wings, which made it feel less satisfying. That said, the rest of the menu had some solid options, and I’d be willing to try something else next time. The atmosphere is lovely, and the location is fantastic, it’s in a great area, perfect for a relaxed lunch or casual outing. Despite the wings, I’d still recommend Big Easy for the good vibes, friendly service, and overall enjoyable setting.

I’ve been a regular customer at Big Easy in Chelsea for a long time, and I can confidently say the place and the staff are exceptional. The team has consistently provided a warm, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service, which is why I keep coming back. However, I’m writing this review out of concern. I’ve recently heard that several staff members are leaving due to issues with the management. This is deeply disappointing, as it’s the people who make this place special. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way—if the team that built this experience leaves, many loyal customers like myself may stop coming too. Management should take this seriously, because great staff are the heart of a great business.

Value for money and really generous portion of meals. They have daily deals- we got the monday unlimited barbeque, pulled pork and chicken with drink only 27pp. Staff were also attentive and warm despite busy evening. Would definitely come back

Tried Big Easy in London and absolutely loved it — especially their combo of half ribs and half lobster. It’s basically the best of both worlds on one plate. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, smoky, and slathered in a rich BBQ sauce that was finger-licking good. And the lobster? Perfectly cooked, buttery, and so fresh. Paired with a squeeze of lemon and a bit of that tangy sauce on the side — just heaven. The plate looked incredible when it landed on the table (couldn’t resist snapping a photo), and it tasted even better. I also appreciated the fresh greens to cut through all the richness. Add to that Big Easy’s fun, laid-back vibe, friendly staff, and solid drinks menu, and it makes for a great night out. If you’re a fan of surf & turf or just love treating yourself to something a bit indulgent, this is 100% the place to go. Can’t wait to come back!

Weekday deluxe lunch special - £19.50 Met my friend here for lunch during the week. We went for there weekday deluxe lunch special. For starters we had the southern fried chicken tenders and for our main we had the original half lobster, chips and green salad. We the had the frozen margaritas for drinks. The chicken tenders were nice and so was the sauce that came with them. The lobster tail hardly had any lobster init. Would not go for this option again as it was not worth the money and never filled me up. Wish I went for the steak lol The margarita barely had any alcohol init, just tasted like ice and sugar. Should have gone for the Prosecco lol Venue is cool and staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit here again but would not go the lobster.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant with our family! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was very fast. We ordered chicken wings and a burger – both were absolutely delicious. The chicken wings, in particular, were incredibly tasty; probably some of the best we’ve ever had.The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and the portions were generous and filling. We were also pleasantly surprised that, thanks to a special promotion, there was no charge for the kids – a big plus for families! Our waiter, OM, was extremely helpful, kind, attentive, and friendly. He took our orders carefully and fulfilled all our requests with great care. Overall, we highly recommend this place for its food, prices, and excellent service. Thank you to everyone who made our visit so enjoyable!

Went for a birthday meal, recieved a nice warm welcome from a male staff member. Food was absolutely amazing. I'm new to steak and the waiter advised me how to have my steak cooked and let me tell you it taste amazing🤤🤤🤤I told them it was my partners birthday and they brought out ice cream and sang happy birthday....even the kitchen staff got involved and where banging pans which really made my partners day. It was such a great touch to the meal. I would definitely be returning.

Yelp
Join the queue in this spectacular venue where diners are made to keep up with the best of the best restaurants. This restaurant is the backdrop to my weekend pinnacle back and at the moment it remains West London's most infamous hotspot. Big Easy is placed on King's Road in Chelsea World End, although I only get excited about getting there once a wider audience has quietened down. I am impressed by its vastly and deep southern charm, not necessarily scene among the many restaurants embracing legendary areas to embrace their clients. Get familiar with this restaurant because it's close by and is proactively working in ways that signify this type of menu is sharply on the rise providing the supply and interest in events that keep people living their barbecue and deep fried marketing management. I am still a little bit taken aback by the extensive price increase but overall the beautiful medieval backdrop and dining once your food has arrived is quite naturally compensating.

Yelp
Bbq and lobster?! Yes please!! The pork ribs here were seriously the biggest and most delicious I've ever had, and I've been to some of the best bbq places in America! They have some amazing daily specials like the half lobster and Prosecco for 15£. The lobsters are beautiful! Also ordered the chicken wings in the hot sauce, so good. The hot sauce is the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The interior of this spot is also really well done, such a vibe. And the music was fun too. Service was on point as well to really round off an amazing experience!

Yelp
We came here on New Year's Day for a recovery dinner and it was definitely average. We ordered an assortment of barbecue and lobster, the barbecue was very dry and needed to be covered in the table sauce that was hard to come by. The service was very poor, after we finished eating the waitress asked if those who ordered lobster needed seafood crackers. We had to beg for her to bring water and then at the end she tried to take a 40 pound tip.

Yelp
We were heading to the Chelsea vs Man City game tonight, where we stopped in to Big Easy Chelsea for dinner for some BBQ food! I haven't had good BBQ food in a while, so I was craving it! I decided to go for the blow out and a pint of there house beer! The Blow out comes with a rib, pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and a sausage link! Everything was super delicious, the meat was super tender and flavorful, and the sides accompanied everything perfectly! It was served with coleslaw, baked beans, and corn bread. The really nice thing about this meal was that even though it seems like a lot of food from the listing, but the UK has really good portion sizes compared to America! My dad ordered the BBQ baby back ribs, which had a really nice smokiness to them. I wish the meat on the blow out platter had that same smokiness, which is the only thing keeping me from giving Big Easy a 5 star rating! I loved it here, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some good BBQ in the area!

Yelp
Everyone knows that even when you're traveling internationally, sometimes you miss the normalcy of being home. That's why we were so excited to see the Big Easy. When we walked in, a wave of Americanism crashed over us. It felt like we were back in the states. We came in and were sat down promptly, they did give us a time limit because apparently they had a big party coming in later. No worries we thought, we should be in and out. We ordered a couple different drinks and they came out pretty quick. We got a Mojito, Pina Colada, and a Long Island Ice Tea. They were pretty stronger and we were definitely feeling it after. It was good that they were strong because It took a little bit longer to get our food. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the sandwich was great. It was different than the American style which is usually slathered in buffalo sauce. One thing that we got that was AMAZING was the lobster and shrimp bake. A Huge dish that literally had EVERYTHING on it. We enjoyed this place because it was a different twist on something you don't see abroad... American food. Only setback was the time of service but definitely would be back.

Yelp
Delicious BBQ and a really nice ambiance. I chose an item which included some ribs, chicken and pork. I also added a sausage and chips. Wait staff were friendly. Food was a little spicy, but otherwise outstanding.

Jan L.

Yelp
Pork ribs and lobster rolls were so good. Great flavor and nicely presented. Fantastic spot to get a great meal.

Allison T.

Yelp
Fantastic place for bbq. The flavour of the food is unmatched. They also have lobster which makes this an amazing place for surf and turf.

Stefania L.

Yelp
Yikes. I ordered a lobster roll for £29 and it was basically a Mayo and lettuce sandwich. without exaggeration, the amount of lobster meat in the roll was less than one claw's worth from a 1 lb lobster. My husband got the brisket and felt sick after. I would skip this one.

Yelp
Second time at the Kings Road branch. Massive amount of people. Be sure to book your seats before coming! Had the grand appetiser which was starters for two. Absolutely huge and tasty too. For mains, we had lobster bake and the lobster mac and cheese. My lobster bake was really worth the price. At £26, you will get a half lobster with its pincer, crab pincer, a huge prawn and mussels! As for the mac and cheese, I didn't like the chunky fries that came with it. Mac and cheese was done well though! Tip: do not order the root beer shake. It was disappointing when I saw my drink. Looked nothing like the root beer floats I used to have.

Yelp
The best place for American Food outside the US I have been so far! Burger and Steaks are awesome and the fries legendary! Very good selection of beer! Also the lobster looked delicious but did not try it yet. There was very good live music and service was fast! This was my second time here and I will definitely be back on my next trip to London! You should make a reservation in advance, the place is really packed!

Yelp
Don't let the name fool you...the Big Easy has nothing to do with New Orleans cuisine. However, it does offer some of the better American style food you can find in Chelsea if not all of London. Although vinyl red and white checkered tablecloths scream TGIFridays....this is actually a fun boisterous environment for a meal and many drinks. The menu is a mixed of grilled bbq ribs, chicken, and assorted meats as well as traditional coastal fare like lobster and crab. And yes they do have actually quite tasty chicken fingers served with honey mustard dipping sauce. I went here for the 4th of July festivities (be sure to book in advance), and they had a special---all you can eat ribs and chicken for about 15 pounds/head....score! On the main menu of the restaurant they have a margarita bar --- with a wide selection of pre-made slushy style margaritas. We should have gone with the slushies as I asked the bar tender to make a margarita on the rocks and it was vile. It was just tequila (he forgot the lime and triple sec), upon mentioning that my drink was colourless and foul he added a splash of triple-sec. Really? Come on..Big Easy you need to train your bartenders...anyone working behind a margarita bar should know how to make margaritas!?! That said, I was pleased with the BBQ fare and the overall party atmosphere definitely reminded me of the states. Just stick with the pre-made drinks and you'll have a ball.

Yelp
It is exactly that...Easy! I have been here a few times in the winter and the summer and it is just a great place to go with friends and family, chill out order some yummy food and relax. The food is American but not greasy and fatty. We usually order the BBQ choices of chicken, lamb ribs, coleslaw, and of course lobster!! The lobster is fantastic! Fresh, tasty and a healthy size. The steak is also delicious, cooked just how you like it...rear, medium rear, medium or well done. The decor is simple, relaxed, you feel like you are walking into a ranch, horses tied up outside, cowboy boots on the table and the smell of sizzling meat, random sayings dotted around...'gone fishing'. Just a great place. They also have big screens so you can watch big American sports games. They often have live music on a Friday and Saturday, good beat really setting the scene!

Yelp
I came here last night with the lads to celebrate one of my friends birthday. I was glad to find out that the group organised a group booking for Big Easy as I had heard about the place and I wanted to visit the place for myself. Their was 9 of us in total for a group booking for 17:00 at the kings road Big Easy. Each person in our group had their preferences for what they wanted to as some came with large appetites. I know I was hungry a whole day before our booking for this food! The food options was a little bit confusing at first as we had to choose from the set menu which was an option out of 3 which were the BBQ blow out at £25pp, the surf & turf at £30 person and finally the seafood deluxe at £35pp. The set menu has a variety of starters and mains including a selection of desserts at an additional £5.50. At first I initially thought this place was on the pricey side as I believe you get to choose one starter and main from the selection but I was well and truly wrong, you get everything I mean you get a range of starters and mains like a kings banquet being served out on huge silver trays. The disappointing thing was I couldn't get my seafood deluxe order as their needed to be a minimum of 2 people ordering any of the set menu and as there was 9 of us the maths didn't add up to my expense. However, I had the chance to Oder from the regular menu which now seemed more pricey especially once you witnessed the size of the platter that came out for the set menus. I was actually lucky enough to try everyone else's starter as their was more than enough to go around meaning that I only had to purchase just a main course. Now after we went through mussels with shrimp in a white wine sauce and a course of buffalo wings, Nacho crisps with dips and a delicious tasting garlic bread I think we all knew desserts were out of the window. In fact I was a little worried I would finish my sirloin steak with deep fried battered shrimp and creamy mashed potatoes, but nevertheless we all pursue to finish of our food and to be honest I was the only one that did. I just didn't understand why my mashed looked like vanilla ice cream? The hospitality and service were really good as our waiter and host made us all to feel welcomed so much so we all remembered their names, crystal, Tim and halo we can only say thanks for a great evening to remember. So would I go back again, yes. It's a great spot to go after work, with your partner, family and friends.

Yelp
I do not like sea food but this place is extremely good. Lobsters, crab claws, prawns are absolutely delicious. Local beer is a simple lager but it is very good and quite cheap. I like it andI will come back here as soon as I can.

Yelp
Quick glance: + daily special deals + happy hour until 7pm + pitcher of cocktail + takes reservation - jam packed seating Full review: A group of five of us visited on a Thursday night. Although we have pre-booked, we were (craftily) directed to wait at the bar. There really isn't much room in the venue, so we tucked ourselves against the bar, absent mindedly dancing around other patrons and the staff, to order and recieve our cocktails before being seated downstairs. Happy hour goes on till 7pm though, which is a plus. The venue is sizeable, partly because they have stacked the tables and chairs very close to each other so that once you are seated, you feel cacooned by the decor and other diners. There was a band literally sat on top of another set of diners; on the evening we visited, the sound system wasn't working so the live band couldn't play. In some way we were a little glad that we weren't deafened at the "front row" to the small stage. The food is great and portion size incredible - a piece of Americana in Chealsea. Being from the states, I have had my fair share of incredulous steak and ribs and BBQ food, but this comes pretty close, if not on taste than certainly on portion size. The two of us had the sharing platter - ribs, chicken, coleslaw, beans, cornbread muffin and fries. More than enough food to feed a small family!

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me so long to get round to reviewing this place The Big Easy has to be one of the funniest places in London! Live bands, upbeat & friend waiters and there's usually a birthday party or two going on. The food comes is large American-Style portionsall of it delicious! I love it hear an am always recommending my friends to come.

Yelp
YOU MUST GO HERE. I came with my boyfriend on a Thursday night when they had a deal - 25 pounds for steak, lobster, a drink (either prosecco or a blended cocktail), and fries. DELICIOUS!!! I had dreams about this place and that meal for days after, and wanted to go back for more. Unfortunately, we weren't able to fit in into our itinerary. I HIGHLY recommend this place. We were able to walk in at about 9:30 without reservations, but I recommend you make them because it was BUSY!

Sebastian S.

Yelp
Had such a good time with family. Enjoyed the BBQ ribs and the service was spot on, our waitress robin made our 10 year old daughters birthday a memorable one. Would definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Wow, I used to love this place. I just had one of the worst delivery experiences concerning a lobster roll. £20 and aside from not giving me my fries with it, I cannot describe how little of a lobster roll this was. This was a coleslaw roll with FOUR small pieces of lobster stuck in the middle of the roll. To charge £20 for that was nothing short of shameful. I called the restaurant which gets you through to a booking line. They don't allow you to speak to the restaurant under any circumstances. And then they told me to ask delivery about the fries they didn't put in the container! Avoid this place at all costs, since expanding they care nothing about the quality of the food and have no accountability. Sad.

Yelp
We went to the Big Easy for my wife's birthday, as she was craving some American Style food. We were early for our reservation so we had drinks at the bar. It was happy hour so there were lots of 2 for 1 deals on drinks and specials on pitchers as well. My wife said her frozen Margaritas were tasty. They were from a machine, but for a frozen margarita this isn't uncommon. The atmosphere was fun, noisy, but not too loud to talk. The bar had ESPN on showing baseball. We were seated on the ground floor, but it sounded like there was live music in the basement. Typically American appetizers were on the menu, and we split an order of Potato skins with bacon (American style crispy bacon) which were the best we've had in London. I also had a bowl of the New England Clam Chowder they had that day, which was very good, but much larger than I was expecting (It's a good thing I came hungry). We both ordered one of the special offers for the day for our main course. Prices on the regular menu looked to be a little expensive, but the portions described were pretty large, so overall not too bad. Our special included a 200g (7oz for the Americans reading this) steak topped with a couple onion rings, a skewer of three large shrimp, french fries, and half a bottle of red wine for £14.95. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and was very tender. The shrimp was also delicious. Overall, we will definitely go back when we are craving an American style meal. We left absolutely stuffed and very happy .

Yelp
4 for the overall experience. Big easy is noisy, it's crowded, the food is average but there's something very comforting about it. It could be the dim lighting or the friendly staff or just the smell of BBQ. I've been there with big groups, small groups and just by myself and it's always nice experience. Like yesterday, I was having a bad day and I just wanted to wallow in a bowl of messy saucy wings. So I went to Big Easy and did just that. The place was packed, so I stood by the bar and devoured my wings quietly. The bartender was very nice and attentive. He didn't judge my caveman style eating at the bar, instead he brought me a bunch of wet wipes with a smile. Anyway so I went home feeling satiated and slightly drunk (yes I always chugged 2 glasses of wine caveman-style with the wings). There's no bad day a bowl of wings and a glass of wine (or 2) can't fix!

Yelp
Avoid. Like the Plague. The owner doesn't want you there anyway. I am not a nitpicker, as my rather generous reviews of other establishments would show. This establishment must have committed some gross error of mistaken identities when they asked my boyfriend and his friend, both of whom were sharing a civilised bottle of champagne to celebrate Chelsea's win that afternoon, to leave. With nary an explanation or reason to support his demand that they leave. Even so, it's a mistake that is somewhat hard to forgive. Not cool, sir, not cool at all.

Yelp
Not sure how to go about rating this place... As an American, well, lol smh. Just no. I don't trust places that call themselves bbq anything but don't serve beef ribs, among other things. As an American who has come to realize that while in London I will not get the type, and portions, of food I am used to (and love)... the place isn't too bad. Went on a Monday evening. There was quite a wait for a table so we, party of 3 plus a kid, took a smaller bar table. I'd recommend reservations. We ordered all you can eat big pig, king crab legs, St. Louis spareribs, voodoo wings, mac & cheese, and kid's ribs. The portions are damn good compared to what I have seen since being here (except the crab, more on that later). However, the meat is not seasoned, at all. It's cooked plain, THEN they throw some bbq sauce on it. That's not how you do it, guys. All you can eat was fine. Chicken was pretty good. Bbq baked beans. Ahhh. Canned, but, I haven't had any in months, so it seemed like heaven. *cue images of the 'Bush's baked beans' dog trying to sell me the recipe* The crab legs? Don't bother, it was about 2 king crab legs, cut up and scattered on a plate to make it appear to be more than it was. 22 pounds for that? Negative. It was sent back for crab shack combo, except there weren't any crab claws or mussels left. Crab shack combo then became the shrimp basket. The shrimp were pretty big, typical battered deal. Zero taste though. Tarter sauce helped a bit, but, well, no. St.. Louis ribs are supposed to be meatier than regular ribs, but, *whispers* they lie. Bottom of the slab didn't even have sauce on it. The kids ribs came with sauce on the side? Como? Que? No bueno. My son, a bbq monster, was not happy lol. I wish I had a picture of the look of sheer confusion on his face. He dug in anyway but only ate 2 ribs then filled up on fries. The idea of having to dip the ribs in sauce is just wrong; It's not a chicken finger. Voodoo wings were decent, you only get 5 though. I was pretty shocked by that. The mac & cheese was ok too. The vibe was nice though. Laid back. I'd go back for drinks with friends and maybe have something to eat, but definitely won't be returning just for food.

Yelp
If you are an American living in London and you want a little taste of home, this is a great place to go. The food isn't wonderful but the combination of sports on TV, the lobster vests, live band and checkered table clothes, just cries out 'welcome home' to me. =) It is usually a bit of a wait for a table, but there is a bar area to wait in and the margarita's are pretty good. There is seating upstairs and downstairs. If you want to be able to easily hear your dinner companions it is best to get a table upstairs. Downstairs, when the band is playing, you will have to strain to hear, or yell. During the summer there are a few tables outside which are great. Although, I love any sort of outdoor seating in London!

Yelp
If this was the states, we'd call it TGIFridays and then be done with it. But it's London and it's novel, so it's the Big Easy. First, you do not go here for the food. Anything my friends ordered fried was delicious...like the fried shrimp inexplicably covered in hot wing sauce. Salads - don't even go there. My friend had some rendition with packaged shredded cheese, canned vegetables and a few artfully placed pieces of lettuce. I had the shrimp fajitas...the tortilla's tasted like Old El Paso, there was nary a mexican spice on it, and guacamole was definitely the kind which comes from a plastic tub made by Kraft. However, with the amount of tequila I consumed, I could care less which brings me to... Second point - you do go here for the Frozen Margheritas. If only for the glory of watching the ice whirl around in the multiple jugs behind the bar. It brings me back to my college days when the bar down the street had Margherita Mondays (only $1!). You can get any flavour (I prefer passion fruit) but ask for salt, not sugar on the rim of the glass. Third, you absolutely, positively go here for the live music. On a Sunday night, they had a great cover band downstairs playing every top 40 hit from the 80's to today...we found ourselves singing along with Kenny Loggins, Britney, and Robbie Williams. Cheesy pop sounds better when sung wholeheartedly...with drunken accompaniment.

Yelp
Lets keep it simple for this one- GOOD: BBQ restaurant, large portions, inexpensively priced, lots of beers :) Hmm...beer. NOT SO GOOD: bit cramped and the time I went, this band was blasting the hell out of my ears. if youre likely to go with a bunch of mates, then the pros above are probably all you need to hear!! Come hungry, leave full and battered.

Yelp
Small and difficult, not big and easy. If you are a Brit looking for a slice of Americana with a lot of noise then you will likely like this place a lot. If you have spent much time living or working in the South or the Midwest then you'll find this place cramped, with pretty poor service and a bit run down. Don't get me wrong, the staff are actually pretty good for London but they are sorely lacking compared to the service in even the average US diner. Hard to get the attention of the wait staff. All of them really rushed, don't really have the time to engage with you--let alone give you a big smile and welcome you. Difficult to have them check a bag (they actually don't have anywhere). In fact every surface in the room is actually eating or walking, it is really a tight fit in there. Our table was really cramped, barely enough room to get everyone seated and I felt as though I was constantly being brushed up against by the wait staff, our chairs were right up against the gangway. There was a loose floorboard under my chair so that every time someone went past my chair jiggled up and down. The food and drinks are mostly good and the drinks are authentic enough. I'd give them 3.5 stars there maybe as many as 4 for the lobster. The kids had ribs and wolfed them down--didn't even get to try them. Son the younger didn't like his mac and cheese. I didn't like the side of it that we ordered either. You get a timed booking and then two hours for your slot. I'm not sure what happens after that time but I suspect it would be neither big nor easy. I feel bad comparing this to an American diner but there you have it. We travelled quite a way across London to get our US fix (we used to live there) and Big Easy was a bit of a let down. There is no way we would bother taking a special group all the way over there again. The experience just isn't that great. But if you are in the area and fancy some good ribs or lobster, and like a hustly atmosphere, then you'll probably like it far more than I did. Sorry Big Easy!

Yelp
Love this place. Great food, drinks and atmosphere although sometimes the service can be a bit slow. Perfect for a late Sunday lunch but be prepared to be extremely full afterwards. Also, if you're going to get a sharing platter as a starter the platter for two is plenty for four.

Yelp
I recommend this place for Americans, those who like big portions, sea food, steak and overall American food! This is a restaurant on our list for sure. - atmosphere : country, small tables through, need improvement. VERY busy! So make sure you book a table in advance and don't be late because waiting time could be 1-2 hours or more. - FOOD: amazing! Big portions, delicious and good for the price, remember, you're in the UK. Pricing and portion is reasonable. - SERVICE: okay. Since its very busy, ordering or needing something after the waiter gives you your first order will take time. * NOT a date night restaurant lol, it's a get down and dirty type! Improvement on tables is why I gave 4 star.

Yelp
I had a big craving for fattening american food and my friend thomas and I had seen the big easy when we walked past it on a most recent shopping spree. The food was good, and the portions were big, and I was glad that we decided to go once we got there. I was a little late so my friends ordered marg's while they were waiting for me and they said that they were a little disappointed by them b/c they were from a machine. I got a chicken sandwich with avocado, and my friend got this meal that included a beer, chicken wings, fries and a burger for £9.95. It was a pretty big meal. but they were out of a lot of other items on the menu. By the end of the meal I was beyond stuffed to the point of needing a nap. oh Also they had my favorite hef Blue Moon, it was £5 but it was totally worth it just for one delicious walk down memory lane.

Yelp
We went to Big Easy last Sunday (great live music) and were delighted. The new chef, Kevin (only a few weeks) came out to talk to us when we asked if lobster rolls were on the menu, which was much appreciated. As for people who say the food wasn't great, I'd urge a return -- we found the food wonderful, no doubt thanks to Kevin's new leadership. We had the lobster & it was wonderful. This is a fun American restaurant, food quality was excellent. Worth the trip, especially with the new chef. My only comments: they need to add lobster rolls, corn on the cob and beer on tap to the menu.

Yelp
This place is the best spot for american food in London without a doubt. There is always a nightly special, my favourite is the all you can eat big pig gig, which is all you can eat Ribs and Chicken for £15 inc a beer. This is mondays only but a total steal. Please note you might need a taxi home as the ribs are falling off the bone delicious and walking can be a problem after! Wednesday night is all you can eat fajitas for £15 They also have wings, burger and fries plus a beer for £9.95 Mon - Thursday which is excellent. I currently have one of these in my gut from last night The interior is exactly what you would expect from a placed call Big Easy! Its cheesy americana but so what. Live music in the basement is an excellent but can be quite loud, if you want peace ask to be seated upstairs. Always book.

Yelp
The Big Easy is a fun and festive restaurant, with red checkered table cloths and knick knacks on the walls,. it is a cool place to grab a drink with friends and chill out. I saw people with buckets of Corona and I noticed Budweiser on the menu, which is rare for London. For such a place, I was surprised by its extensive wine list. I had the wings, which were pretty good and my brother went with the all you can eat shrimp. He liked them but they were fried in batter and the portion was so huge that the all you can eat factor is a bit of a rip off. I haven't been back, but it seems like a nice place to chill out with some buddies and split some appetizers.

Yelp
My GF and I had been looking forward to this place for a while and wanted to try out the lobster and something a little different hence choosing this place. We booked in for Sunday and arrived about 10 minutes early, was told to wait at the bar whilst they sorted the table. I was driving so had a coke and she fancied a chocolate milkshake, although really busy the barman came over pretty quick, we ordered and was told they had just run out of chocolate ice cream!?? so we both opt'd for Coke. Now I know what Coke tastes like and I have no idea what this was, it was a combination of flat KFC Pepsi or some random no name brand cola but hey ho it's only a drink. After about a 5 minute wait we were shown to our table which was already empty as I noticed it when I walked in so I assume the bar trip was to get us to buy drinks, cutlery wise the table had only a knife on each on there as people were taking forks from other tables due to the person that brings the food out forgetting to bring the forks (I think they have dedicated waiters and food servers) To start we had the Lobster Cocktails which were really nice, we then asked for the 1 1/4 Lobster but was informed that they had run out so she had the ribs and I had the burger (that did not include fries), the ribs were nice however the burger was grim. It was just bland and chewy and the bread just dried it all out and it had that cooked at the same time as the starters and left under the lights warmth to it. The fries (£3.60) were just over salted over cooked fries and the coleslaw was just coleslaw. The bill for 3 so called Cokes (not inc bar drinks) and food came to £58 which included the 12% tip in there so you have no option but to just pay this, don't get me wrong I do pay tips where warranted but to have it forced upon you is just wrong! The place was in a good location, the decor was good and don't get me wrong it must be popular as the days we wanted to go were fully booked and it was full when we arrived but on this occasion the food didn't pop or wow us, it was just food. Would I try it again, maybe as I think it could be nice if the right item was chosen.

Yelp
Food is great.. But we struggled with service on a Friday! One hour wait for the food was ridiculous. Also when asked for spare plates - we got 4 when there were 5 of us! Also not enough utensils to eat the lobsters with! Shitty service till no end!

Yelp
GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY!!! You simply can't beat the price! Lobster, fries, salad and a drink for £14.95!!!!! Can be abit hard to book a table for when you want so advance bookings are always advisable. Great location, good service, can get abit noisy when they've got a live band playing (you can't hear yourself talk). quick service. definitely worth a visit or 10.

Yelp
This place was big, but the service was far from easy. The only thing that went down well was my pickle "jack" shot, after I waited 20+ min for the first one. Or ribs were nice and smoked, with more than just char, if you like dry ribs and conversation with your server, this is place to come. Decent drinks, slutty service.

Yelp
There are often £15 specials on lobster dinners, which are not bad at all. Interesting decor, the business cards tacked to the walls are at times quite entertaining. Great cocktail selection, quick and easy, haven't left disappointed yet.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Big Easy for a while now and finally went last night. Gotta say, the atmosphere is fantastic. We were seated downstairs and around 7:45/8pm a live, 2-man band started playing some great tunes. My boyfriend and I both had the steak & lobster Thursday deal. What a great value! 1/2 lobster, steak, chips and a margarita for £19.95. Everything was delicious and we were rightfully stuffed after the meal. My only complaint about this place is that they pretty much pack in the tables so there's very little room for the waiters to maneuver about. Everytime someone passed by me, they knocked into my chair which gets annoying after a few times. Other than that, all was good and will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.

Yelp
I used to love Big Easy, what's gone wrong?? Went last night and everything started out great...then got our food and were left to fend for ourselves the rest of the night! Food was ok, perhaps not as good as in the past, but the service was the big let down. No one checked to see how our meals were, no one bothered to see if wanted to order more drinks (I could barely talk by the end of the meal as i was so parched!) and even trying to pay was a big mission...Good the place is busy, but please sort out the staff to customer ratio! I always tip for good service, but was less than impressed with the 12% gratuity added to the bill and then to get asked if I wanted to add a tip to the credit card on top of that. You can only get away with adding service when you're positive it's always great!

Yelp
This is my idea of hell. Crammed tables, bibs, nearly everything is fried, bread crumbed and served with cheesy creamy dips. How much fat can you cram into one meal? Ugh. You don't get a plate, but trays of food. Everyone is overeating, and when you reach your fill, there's no escape. The smell of gluttony pervades every corner. Clearly though, I am in the minority on this one. The place was heaving on a Tuesday night, with well groomed Londoners, tying back their hair, to facilitate their binge.

Yelp
Surfed and Turfed here, 4 stars! we came here in a huge group for a friend's birthday and all ordered the surf and turf.. Thursday special only £20! the surf went well, juicy and slightly above average lobster, i killed it first. the turf was just okay.. i did just recently have the l'entrecote steak though, so those are high standards to live up to. the decor is extreme and cheesy, decked with american license plates and star spangled banners and even a live 2-man "band" crooning sweet home alabama in the background. we made it to desserts and the waffles were actually really good. reminiscent of bubba gump restaurant at home!

Yelp
Had the ribs/chicken combo, portion was big enough for me to be full after the main. It was good but probably not up to Bodean's standard. Had some scorpion 'bowl' cocktails which tasted great but came in pitchers and seemed a bit of a rip off. Desserts were delicious but I was cramming it in on top of the main course (my greed's fault not the big easy's). Where it excelled was atmosphere, our waiter was cool and the place was busy but didn't feel like you were right on top of people. The live music from 9 was entertaining without being obtrusive. Really want to go back in the week cause it seems like they have some great all you can eat deals.

Yelp
How have I not been here since I moved to London 2 years ago!? Whole lobster, fries, side salad AND a margarita for 14.95 pounds, I'm going back there every chance I get!! Went on a Sunday at 3pm and had to wait 30 min for a table for 2, not so bad with the frozen margaritas on TAP....a dream. Jalapenos poppers, mac 'n' cheese, buffalo wings, king crab legs, bbq chicken, ribs, bud light, coors, you name it American and it's there. A classic. I love the decor, the red/white checkered table cloths, the dark wood panelling and the ridiculous specials they have everyday of the week. If I lived in the area I would be here regularly (read: daily), if I could cope with being a fatty. All you need to know is: America, fuck yeah!

Yelp
I have been eating here for at least 5/6 years and managed to squeeze a long overdue trip back. It's a shame because big easy really felt like a moms and pops place but now feels like a chain. The food is very average and the quality has dropped. The steak pretty tastey but very fatty. The shrimp cocktail was awfully dry.The same for there crab claws. Even the onions rings where bad! Dry cold and tasted refried. Also nearly £8 for a small frozen margarita and not even premium alcohol - dead The staff are amazing but the food and the price isn't.... Oh and stop serving food on boards with paper sheets. it sticks to the steak/ food and is very unpleasant. Another thing to cut corners I'm guessing.... Sorry big easy but you need to concentrate on the quality not quantity.

Yelp
The place to go for a messy feast of a meal. The restaurant is a casual American crab shack but not sloppy. The place is always packed, the margarita jugs are always flowing, the enormous platters of pulled pork and ribs, or giant lobsters are always passing over your head. The lobsters are nothing special (how many different ways can you cook a lobster?) but it's the challenge of dissecting it whilst still looking decent with a bib over your front. It can be a bit noisy with the live band downstairs, but it is so much fun and time flies. A great evening out with mates in a central location.

Yelp
I went to the Big Easy specifically for the Lobster Special which included a Margarita. I was happy to land a table outside on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. The service was average and the margarita was so-so. The lobster was well cooked but nothing special. If you are looking for a laid back spot with good specials the Big Easy is worth checking out if you are in the area but I wouldn't go out of your way to try it.

Yelp
Nothing at all like New Orleans, but the service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices weren't outlandish. This cannot be said for most places in Chelsea. I had the catch of the day: a 2lb. Nova Scotia lobster and the fiance had a surf and turf selection of a small steak and 1/2 a smaller lobster. We both enjoyed them. Having never had a whole lobster before, I expressed my concerns to my waiter who assured me I'd be fine. The lobster arrived cleaved down the center, which was great for a first-time lobster conquerer. While my fiance's half lobster was fine, mine did seem like it could have used a touch longer in the pot as the tomalley was a bit gooey (not that I was going anywhere near it, but I do know it should be firm). Still fine, though. Drawn butter was extra, but only 50p. Fair enough. The wait on a busy Sunday night (without a reservation) was about 20-25 minutes, which was quite reasonable considering it's not a big place. There was live music being played downstairs and piped through the whole place. A fun atmosphere. A bit loud, but nothing terrible. Definitely a place to return to!
