"Staged in August on the Cotswolds farm of Blur bassist-turned-cheesemaker Alex James, this weekend event pairs musicians with high-profile chefs and is supported by street-food vendors, a producers' market and a "collaboration kitchen." The lineup mixes culinary heavyweights such as Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Pierre Koffmann with contemporary figures including Andi Oliver, Gizzi Erskine, 2017 MasterChef winner Saliha Mahmood Ahmed, Merlin Labron-Johnson and Ashley Palmer-Watts, producing a somewhat nostalgic emphasis on established names even as the event validates the idea of chefs as artists. Lack of mobile reception was an issue. Paid for posh toilets but this doesn't include any showering extras so would say its not worth it. Free showers were good but had massive ques until about 12.00 midday. The main stage music was drowned out by the music coming from other bars when watching towards the rear of the venue, that was annoy.Those were the bad points. Good points , good range of bands. Good kids activities. Huge array of food available. Probably say the ticket price is expensive considering the quality of bands playing. Only really one top band per day. Faithless on Saturday and Travis on Sunday. Would come back.

We’ve been 5 times. It’s a safe, family friendly festival. Not too big, The toilets are clean and plentiful, showers available (big queues in the morning). Electric hook up available for camper vans and caravans. Expect to pay around £6.80 a pint. Good selection of food outlets.

This was our 2nd trip, after having such a wonderful time last year. The atmosphere is amazing, the site feels safe it is very family friendly, but that doesn't mean there are children running around the site as there's so much for them to do. There are always good acts, some you'll know & others to discover. The food is good, really good. The location is fabulous, especially in the Sundown stage area. This is now a regular date on our calendar.

What a wonderful festival! Small enough to do in a day if pressed for time, but big enough to have loads of choice of food (we tried as much as we could eat - all really good), and music - from its multiple stages and tents. Plenty of choice of drinks too from a good range of ale to more gin than you could count. The atmosphere was busy but friendly and there were lots of families with kids of all ages in tow. We just did a day (first time visitors) without our kids, and we'll undoubtedly return to the Big Feastival in future years with the kids as well.
