Got the elk and buffalo burgers. Buffalo was much juicier , but we enjoyed both.

We were really looking forward to trying the Elk burger. It was a total disappointment. It was a really really dry almost pressed like patty. It didn't taste like Elk at all. It was more like a really gamey deer meat. We couldn't put enough mayonnaise and mustard on it to just get it down. They my have other items that are good but the Elk burger was a total disappointment.

This bar is so fun. You can drink, gamble and watch your favorite sport all at the same time. BUT, if they're busy they're rude and rush you. They also let people sit at the gambling machines at the bar even though they're not gambling which I think is unfair for those who actually want to gamble. Food is good but watch out for the wings, if they're big they may not be cooked all the way through which is what happened to me.

Bartender male with a beard. walked away after asking for ID. We are 4 people ready to order .Did like 5 orders before I flagged him down again I asked if he was going to take our order. He almost said no. Very rude and unprofessional . Would not come back here.

Horrible service from waitresses

This is one of five places to eat and/or enjoy a cold beverage while spending time at Inn of The Mountain Gods. It's the closest one to the gambling area and there's a courtyard type seating area in the front where one can observe all the action - or just people watch. They have a bar with electronic card games, and additional seating is provided by way of low style as well as high top tables. These are found behind the bar and also in a large adjoining room. There are large screen TVs along all the walls with various sports games in progress. I sat in the large room at a high top table on a Saturday afternoon. It was fairly busy and it appeared there was only one employee working this area. She arrived in a few minutes and pleasantly greeted me, took my drink order and, since I had time to review the menu before she arrived, also took my entree order - the Cheese Quesadillas. I enjoyed watching the College World Series baseball in progress on one of the TVs while waiting. My entree arrived within a reasonable time and it was obvious she had just gotten it from the cook as it was hot. It was very good - a lot of cheese, onion, and hatch green chile which all created a very good taste. It came with guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. My drink, Michelob Ultra, was ice cold. She came by a couple of times to check on me and if everything was good. I thought she did a very good job especially since she was covering quite a few tables. This is a good alternative for someone wanting good, basic bar food at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back and recommend you check them out. It can get really busy later in the evenings and they might have a waiting line so plan accordingly.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We were left unattended the whole time. We were ignored by the servers when we called them. Never going again...

I am ALWAYS surprised at how good the food is at this sports bar - in the casino! It's shocking. The service can be a little gruff but the food... ITS SO SHOCKINGLY GOOD. This time I had the prime rib quesadilla and a side of chips and hot sauce. It was fantastic . The quesadilla is served with hot sauce, sour cream and guacamole. The guac is SO GOOD TOO! The portion is huge... a regular appetite would only need half of if. It has green chilies and is not overly cheesy -- and not one bit greasy. The chips are worth mentioning too. They are dusted with some kind of chili powder salt and taste freshly made. I forgot to ask if they were made on-site. I also had a hamburger the next night via room service and it was very good. Fresh bun, vegetables etc. The bartenders are pretty grumpy, but they are fast and efficient. They definitely don't want to chit chat. It's kind of hard to get the sports game you want on any screen because so many people meet up there and commandeer the screens. Pittsburgh and Buffalo were the main games. I thought it was odd that I couldn't find a Texas team (baseball or football) on any of the screens. Maybe if you get there super early. Pittsburgh? Buffalo? Odd. Well, I guess it's better than watching Dallas. Overall, I really can count on this place for a quick bite if I'm having a good night on the slots. I'm amazed that a sports bar in the casino can serve such great food. But they really do!

I want to give this no stars we sat there for 30 minutes at the bar no service even after waving the bar tender down . One guy had to yell at the bartender to get him to do his job and then i leached of that attention to get a drink. Once I had my drink I was then ignored for 30 more minutes had many people who looked like they were working but just ignored me when I waved for service again.. eventually got the bill no tip for you there wasent even more than 20 people maybe 6 tabs in total.. just garbage service they'd rather stand by the register and break eye contact when you make it to get service . So bad never going to that bar here . IOTMG got trash working here

Big game sports bar is certainly not big value. Annoying law that no drinks allowed on casino floor. So, order a cocktail at the bar. Weakest drink in the history of distillation. Order beer only.

We came here for a UFC fight a few weeks ago and I can't stop thinking about how fun this place is to watch an event. The server was really nice and the food was great. The beer list could be better but I know their other restaurants have extensive beer lists. We'll certainly come back for more events.

Food is good. Service is a bit slow during weekends. The only thing that's shitty is they allow customers to smoke at the bar and it creates a big loss for customers that don't smoke, end up losing their appetite; therefore, you can't enjoy your food. The whole time your inhaling cigarette smoke into your lungs while trying to ingest some good burgers and trying to enjoy your time.

We appreciate this place for what it is, and we understand staff shortages, and having new employees who may not be well trained. However, there really isn't any excuse for ignoring customers. If you can't get to them right away, you can at least acknowledge them and let them know that they're on your radar. The food and drinks are fine for this type of restaurant and the prices are fair-- that is if you ever get that far.

We eat here every time we go to the casino. Their basic burger (the Big Game) is very tasty and the fries are always fresh. The price is very reasonable (two of us eat for under $25). I just wish they would bring Bingo back.

Big game sports bar very disappointed. Restaurant is already at half capacity, and on top of that there are 3 servers served an empty restaurant. One older server (ours) seemed to rush us and have an attitude at any little request I had. Being front he restaurant industry, if I were to do this, I would be immediately fired. SoMy family and I were so excited to finally rest after a 10 hour car ride from Texas just to receive this poor service. Seriously would never recommend this place to my worst enemy... that's how bad it is. Everyone's soda was also very flat and prepared poorly. When asked to have another drink our server, Maria, replied with a remarkable amount of attitude "Well I can't control that do you want another drink or do you want coke huh?" Sorry service sorry food.

We tried to eat here on August 3rd. We were seated promptly. The waitress took our drink order. When she came back she asked if we were ready to order. We said we were still looking over the menu. She said she would come back in a couple of minutes. She never came back to take our order and never checked on us. She did pass by once and said she was checking on our order. I said what order? She just went on to another table to take their order. We waited for 40 minutes and watched her take care of other customers. She never checked on us. We gave up and left. I was disappointed because we have ate there before and enjoyed the food.

Its Lent. Decided on the "Calamari Sticks," & Fish & Chips - Calamari was like cheap onion rings Fish was mostly batter with a slight soap taste. Fries under done - Service...well it is the Inn...won't be back

This is one of our "go-to" places to grab a nice bite while in Ruidoso. We aware that when there are big events, you likely will have to wait in line. Staff is always nice and the food is a good value for the money.

Service was bad and the lady was moody and rude , and the steak sandwich false advertising and did not cook how I wanted it, over all bad

Had the chile lime quesadilla: it came with guacamole, salsa & sour creme. It was delicious and fresh!! The green Chile's and grilled onion were yumm!!! And had fries on the side. It was all delicious. Will come back my next visit. Service was good too.

So one of the casinos allows kids to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant. So I call ahead to make sure, and the incompetent buffoon at the front desk gives a resounding "oh yeah!" When I ask. We get there only to be told this is not true. Still not giving up on these idiots I ask for a way to get the elk burgers we came for. The fools I spoke to gave me "deer in headlights look". So I ask to speak to someone. They give me the head buffoon. Her idea??? Leave the kids in the hall, go order to go, come back to the hall and wait until I THINK it might be ready and go back to get it... wow. This, and a couple of other experiences show they only care about getting your money. They obviously take advantage of being the only casino in town... horrible customer service PERIOD.

Big Game Sports Bar doesn't live up to the big game name. Honestly, service was great, but the food inspired me to download this app before the check was delivered. We started with the potato skins for an appetizer. When the waiter arrived with the dish and handed me styrofoam plates I knew the buffalo burger I ordered was going to be rough. Upon arrival of the buffalo burger, it looked like a sorry microwaveable patty with a slice of kraft pepper jack cheese. It was bone dry, and chewy. The Patty's tasted and resembled a precooked, frozen patty you'd find in the frozen food section of you local supermarket. The bun was dry and hard. The whole meal resembled a burger you'd by from a concession stand at a little league baseball game but at the price of $46.00 dollars. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Long story short, if you want a better burger, go to your local McDonald's.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2018 for a weekend. Very crowded restaurant on a Friday night as expected. We decided to eat lunch here on Sunday as well and watch football before our drive back home on Sunday afternoon. Bartender said they open at 11. Perfect. We staked out the entrance for 11. Met a Rams and a Chiefs fan as 11 got closer. There were 5 of us on our party. Waitress let us in a few minutes after 11. We picked a table near 2 tvs. I told her we wanted to watch the Steelers and Packers games, Holy cow she gave me the remotes. I have cband but know how to work a directv remote. Found both games. She took the remotes and then a few minutes later a waiter put games on other tvs as others came in. We watched the games, had some drinks and food too. All was good. If you are stuck at the hotel on a football weekend then the waiters and waitresses are really cool to watch what you want.

Some of the better eating at the Inn, if you order the chili, chicken avocado bacon sandwich, buffalo tacos, chili or nachos. Unfortunately, gluten sensitive and can't sub corn for the flower tortillas, so just eat the insides. The battered and fried apps are a miss for me but that's probably personal preference
