I visited on Saturday night and there was a line going out the store, but the turn around time was quick and it only took 10 minutes to order our ice cream. The ice cream was okay. I had the vanilla ice cream with chocolate dip. I didn't find it much more interesting than other places and it was a bit too pricey to add additional toppings. The ice cream alone was 3.99 and other toppings including chocolate dip was 1.00.

I didn't know what to expect when we went to Big Gay Ice Cream Shoppe. Judging by the name, I knew to expect something awesome and likely involving ice cream. Largely they delivered. The main offering here is flavored soft-serve ice cream covered in a variety of awesome toppings. I treated myself to a Key-Lime Pie Sundae. It was tart and just the right size. I have had better (I once had a Lemon Meringue Pie Sundae at another shop that was incredible), but this was nothing to sneeze at. I suspect the other offerings might be even better.

This place was such a bolt of happiness. The soft serve is delicious—the perfect balance of creamy and thickness. The crew was quick, nice, and fun. A normal soft serve cone will start at about $3.50 and then extras are usually $1 extra per.

The staff were friendly, and the ice cream was very smooth, although a bit too soft, as it melted very quickly even in the air conditioned store. Although there is often a line, it moves very quickly, so we didn't have to wait more than 3 minutes to be served.

Service wasn’t very friendly. Ordered a Rufus sundae - it was okay. My partner ordered a Dorothy ice cream cone he said it was good.

Had to go to say I went. It was quite... underwhelming. I'm not sure if it is this location specifically but... What a bummer. Ice cream is okay, but don't expect a thick, creamy ice cream. Small portions, cone or bowl and even sundae. ...And, of course, pricey. Just to let you know--this is a small location! I do not advise more than a group of 3, especially during peak hours! You will not get a seat! Maybe the other locations are different? I'll have to see...

One of the downsides is the wait for this ice cream. It is a fluffier style ice cream that tastes more like marshmallows than the rich and creamy soft serve you would expect. They have a rewards punch card, but I wouldn’t wait in line so many times to get a free one here.

The line may look long but it is well worth the wait! And they go through people fast! Fantastic ice cream! Definitely an experience to be had!
