Farm‑minded pitmaster Kevin Wyatt smokes wagyu burgers, pulled pork, and scratch sides, fueling Omaha’s scene from the Trucks & Taps patio. Praised by Restaurant Hoppen and profiled alongside fellow local trucks by the Omaha World‑Herald, it’s a cornerstone of the city’s BBQ on wheels.

Big Green Q has really great bbq - all locally sourced meats and veggies. They have a few vegetarian options as well. Pictured: chicken wings, pork belly, ribs, and their tater tots (which are very unique!)

Stopped by for the first time today. And I'm kicking myself for not trying it earlier. I got the pulled pork sandwich with slaw, tater tots, and two sauces (Carolina Gold and the Habanero). Everything was delicious! The tater tots aren't your traditional tots - these are like balls of perfectly cooked hashbrowns. Tha habanero sauce had just the right amount of heat and *all of the flavor.* The sandwich was fresh and filling. And the Carolina Gold sauce is addictive. I can't wait to go back!

I tried to pop into this place while I was visiting Omaha because I saw on a few lists that their tots were worth trying out, but I guess they closed during their already brief hours to finish a catering order so I didn’t have the chance. 2* because the menu looks good and the ice cream place in the same building we stumbled upon is amazing

1/2 lb of burnt ends were expensive at $14. They were solidly 75% fat, to the point where you just couldn’t chew them enough to swallow them. Felt bad using so many napkins to spit them in. Flavor was good, char was nice, but would not order again.

Big Green Q has been my favorite food truck for a while so I'm glad they moved into Ted and Wally's for a permanent home. Best Q around, get the home made tots!

I’m… not sure how this is a Philly. A smoked chicken sandwich would be a better name. It’s basically a hot dog bun with peppers, where’s the cheese?

Pulled pork was not well pulled, very bland, not well cooked to start with, and bore no indication of actually having been smoked. Sauce was underwhelming and “slaw” came right out of a bag, raw onto my sandwich. Food was expensive for the portion size, and truck seemed extremely overstaffed—which is probably why the food is more expensive than it should be. Quite honestly, 90% of home cooks would be capable of making as good, if not a better pulled pork sandwich. Tots were well seasoned and cooked appropriately. Service was fast and amicable.

Awesome atmosphere at Trucks and Taps overall. Good food, the Mac n cheese was great and they had a special pork sandwich with a basil chutney that was terrific. Probably the best tator tots I've ever had, even if the portion was a little small. Very fast, and quality service.
