In Search of Deep Ellum’s Best Late Night Eats | Eater Dallas

"A halal-cart-style late-night staple serving chicken-and-rice plates, with weekend kitchen hours stretching until 4 a.m., making it a reliable final stop for very late-night diners in the neighborhood." - Amy McCarthy

Our third time here, love it! Food is great, large menu for choices. Prices are decent. Service has always been fantastic-something that seems to have gone downhill most other places. Big Guys, keep those servers happy because you don't want to lose them!

I’ll admit it—I’ve been missing out. First visit to Big Guys Pike Lake and now I get the hype. Thanks to Aimee Habeck for the nudge! We kicked things off with cheese nuggets and Reuben rolls, followed by a JD BBQ Chicken & Bacon pizza and a full burger lineup: Western, Mushroom Swiss, Bang Bang, and classic Cheeseburgers. My Western Burger was spot-on, and the tots deserve a shoutout of their own. The surprise cheesecake bites at the end? Elite move. We’ll be back.

Ordered for take out, was ready in only 10 minutes! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Great prices too. Try the western burger, I think it might be my new favorite burger in town! My wife also REALLY enjoyed the fried green beans!

Even though we live in town, it gives the "up North" relaxing vacation vibe. Patio with Pike Lake's view, pull tabs, slots, and win every time duck games for kids and adults. Food and drinks and staff is amazingly friendly. We had Sam tonight, and Sandy in the past. They make you feel at home. Their genuine personalities and atmosphere make you want to come back for more.

THE MONSTER OF ALL BURGERS! Feeds 4 men, or 1 Viking! Over 2 lbs. of awesome! Duck Ragoon: amazing rustic spin on an American classic. Scenic forest countryside. Specials 7 days a week. Discount if you pay cash.

Fantastic burger and delicious wings. They had a great selection of sauces, of which I highly recommend the sweet heat. The Bloody Mary was a nice level of spice and refreshing tomato juice. Reasonable prices for beer, and very friendly staff. Just a solid bar I do wish they would stop using styrofoam to-go containers though

I called before we went and that was a sign. Melanie was annoyed that we called to see if our group of 4 needed reservations and what the special was? Monotone and indifferent. AYCE Wing Wednesday is a joke! Oily, greasy, breaded, disgusting, overcooked, and cold in the center, frozen wings. The non friendly server named Melanie was the bartender over who over estimates her hotness, and ignores her customers. She has zero personality. She's there to text and get some attention from the male regulars. She never followed up on our food or drinks and would be working harder if she was sleeping. Melanie comes to work to flirt with some dude who's there to watch her work and drinks for free. Staff and bartender were playing on there cell phones, texting and playing pool, while bar patrons waited for drinks and food. This place has gone downhill. Wings are breaded, overcooked.and disgusting and super oily. You can't peel off the breading. Just gross! Wings at Kwik Trip are 10 times better and are pre made. The cook is the only one who is actually working.
