Pretty good. Fried pickles good. Ribs were great. Chicken a bit overcooked. Brisket awesome. Didn’t get that great smoke smell you expect when walking in to a bbq joint. Great service. Cool atmosphere.

We got here at the right time! Ten minutes after we walked in the place got packed! The waiters checked on us often and the food was outstanding. Would highly recommend the Mac and cheese! Never had one like it before. Would definitely come again.

The service was the best part about this restaurant, and the place was very clean! However, I wasn't too pleased with the food. I got the brisket, ribs, fries, and coleslaw. Burnt ends for an appetizer. My brisket was not the best texture, and the flavor just was not there. The ribs were okay, and the fries were average fries. If you are used to Texas Style brisket, I fear you would leave here disappointed. The burnt ends weren't traditional burnt ends that I'm used to from the south, but they were the best part of my meal. They also don't have any kids sized dishes or a kids menu, so you have to pay full price for anything you get for your children. We were able to split the chicken tenders for two kids though! Definitely recommend the Cole slaw though, I was impressed with it!

Great decor, extremely attentive, fast and efficient staff, good beers, what more can you ask for. On to the food, burger, ribs, chicken, and wings were phenomenal, special shout out to the house seasoned wings. I don't know when I'll be back in Idaho but this is a must if you're in town. We found the quantities were generous and the prices were fair. Thanks for the hospitality!

This was really good. I had ribs and barbecued chicken. Ribs were juicy. They have outdoor seating. Great service kept the Diet Coke refills coming. Definitely going back. They had some great gluten free options for my coworker. She ordered a green salad and it was huge!

Came in to get dinner with our family. Lots of seating both indoors and outdoors. Our server friendly and attentive. My husband got the mahi mahi fish tacos and would love loved to have 3 in his order, but liked his meal. My nephew got his burger and fries and his potion size was good. My daughter loved the wings and said they were bussing. I had the salad which was a well size portion and ordered mahi mahi on top. It was served blacked but very well done. Overall dinner was very good.

My first time through Victor and this was a good find! The staff was chatty and welcoming, quick to serve and checked in at just the right times. The brisket sandwich was stuffed with thick slices and the spicy BBQ sauce was fabulous. My husband had the rib and brisket combo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him debate taking home leftovers, but he was full and praising the meat. - Oh, the onion rings were perfectly done in beer batter and fried just right. We were both really pleased with the stop and wish we had a reason to come through town again soon. Eat here!

The food is Incredible! Moist, Tender, and Delicious! We ate the Brisket sandwich, and Burnt Ends. It was Incredible. The Burnt Ends just Melt in your mouth, with the right amount of seasoning! The Ribs are Moist, Tender, and Oh So Delicious! How do I know? There was one on my Bloody Mary! Alexis is The Best Waitress Ever, she can Read a table! Attentive! Awesome Customer Service! We will be coming back tonight, after touring this afternoon, to pick up Dinner to take home.

Great portions, ribs were very well made and it seems like they use a vinegar style BBQ sauce. The mini burger with the Snake River Wagyu was incredible! I would highly recommend this if you are in the area!

Can't go wrong with any options here! Portions are generous food is fantastic! Highly recommend the Big Hole Fries so much brisket and the best fries ever!

Best smoked chicken wings I've ever had - and I normally don't even like smoked wings! Ordered the 1/2 dozen with original bbq and they were so perfectly coated with sauce and juicy with each bite! If I knew they were so good I would have just eaten a dozen for dinner. I also had the burger which hit the spot and ribs. Ribs were good but a little on the sweet side for me. Mac n cheese was banging and the beans were solid. Honestly better than majority of the over priced restaurants in the neighboring Jackson Hole area. So glad to have tried this place. Staff was super nice and it had a very relaxing chill vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating was also great in good weather days. Dessert was also good. Had the in house bread pudding which was great and the moose chocolate cake was also good. Highly recommend!

Brisket was dry. Waiter talked us out of an appetizer because the kitchen was backed up. Weds at 7 pm they were out of wings, chicken tenders and potatoes. They substituted my side order of a baked potato to something else without asking. There was an automatic gratuity added to our party of 6 automatically. Mac and cheese was good though.

We stopped by here for dinner, and it was delicious! I was very happy to see Fried Okra on the menu, my favorite and it hit the spot. Our waiter was nice he seemed to be handling phone orders, bar service and table service which seemed excessive, we were not in any rush so we took our time being on vacation we had nowhere to be just enjoying the time. It was a cool little place. My family enjoyed the fried okra, chips and dip, tacos chicken, bbq ribs, and brisket sandwich. All of which were melt in the mouth bbq delicious. Wish we didn't live across the US so we could visit again, but if we are out in Idaho again we will be sure to stop in.

We ordered the ribs and chicken combo. The smoked chicken was great and moist. The ribs were over-seasoned with too much rub. The slaw was good. Service was good and fast. The place has a local ambiance and feel to it.

Brisket sliders eaten by my friends and I had grilled shrimp tacos with firecracker sauce on the slaw....all delicious! Great outdoor service and looked like many other good items on the menu.

Anna our server was so friendly & helpful on what to order!! Always appreciate informed & kind employees. She brought the order out so fast that we couldn't believe how fast the service was!!! Complements to the kitchen staff!!! You are speedy!!! We had the pulled pork sandwich & fries which was moist & tasty. The southwest salads cilantro lime vinaigrette dressing was refreshing & lite on a hot summer day. Great combination. Thanks!

Great food, great service. Vacationing and wanted to try local restaurants. Had tried Nig Hole Bbq a few days ago (their bacon chicken wrap is the best I've ever had). Was going to try the brakeman burger place but it was dirty and out of a ton of items.

Everything was perfect at Big Hole! I always look forward to eating at Big Hole anytime I come to Idaho! We started with fried okra and then for main course got the burnt ends, ribs and brisket sandwich. Everything was so dang good! My favorite is always the burnt ends but this was my first time having the ribs and they were perfectly tender and Smokey! The okra might have been the best I've ever had. The food was all so good that we decided to try the desserts. We got the bread pudding (recommended by our server), the chocolate cake and the lemon Italian cream cake. The two cakes were devoured ! Both so good! The bread pudding was good but may have been a little old or overcooked but it was pretty hard and chewy. Our server was great and helped a lot even with a full house during the rush. It was nice to sit in and watch college football.

Excellent chicken and rib combo! The chicken was cooked perfectly and was a good size. Sweet potato fries, Beans and coleslaw were all also wonderful. Highly recommend.

This place is FANTASTIC. It's an adorable BBQ place. You must get the burnt ends, I recommend the dry rub! They are 10/10! The pork ribs were great too, soft & cooked to perfection. 9.5/10 For side I got the Mac&cheese / onion rings. The onion rings were amazing, the mac&cheese was okay. Overall great place, I highly recommend.

Food: the pretzels here are HUGE and the fries are good so is the ketchup and the lemonade is nice and refreshing and for the pretzels side it came fast Service: the food came pretty fast and the employees are friendly and there happy to help with anything Ambiance: the tables were clean and had ketchup napkins and other sauces like bbq and hot sauce we sat outside which had a umbrella and was shady the inside looked good but it was pretty crowded but that's not there fault so overall 4 stars

The service was good. The inside is just a small little cafe type place so nothing fun or impressive. But the food was quite good (especially the pretzel...best I've ever had). The burnt ends had a good flavor but were more than half actual fat so I wouldn't recommend them for the price. The prices overall were pretty steep but kind-of what you expect in the area. My husband liked his ribs and my pork was good. The Mac and cheese was good too but the baked beans were mid at best. We will definitely come back here next time we pass through.

Tuesday evening in Victor, ID has limited options for dining out, especially with outdoor seating options. We're so glad we read the Yelp! reviews and headed to Big Hole BBQ for dinner! Sat ourselves at one of 7 tables along the side of the restaurant (there are also 2 in front of the restaurant and, it looks like, during busier times seating on a third-floor deck) and were treated to prompt, friendly service. Started with the fried pickles, which were terrific, and wound up sharing the B-Melt sandwich (chopped beef brisket topped with melted pepper jack cheese on a soft hoagie* roll) served with slaw (added some pickled jalapeños), the Big Hole Burger (1/3 pound hamburger patty topped with chopped brisket, crispy fried onions, Big Hole's original BBQ sauce, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and pepper jack cheese on a toasted brioche bun) served with fries, and a side of onion rings. The sandwiches were both terrific, the fries were solid--thin and crispy, and the onion rings were on the larger, thinner side and generally well-seasoned and crisp. Would definitely return if in the area again. *Love the nod to Philadelphia!

We came in based on the great reviews. I had called ahead and asked some questions about the menu. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and helpful. This is not a big place. There are eight tables for four. The center area has had tables removed and the tables there are well spread apart. The center area is where they have a long table set up for take out orders. They seemed to do a very brisk take out business. People could just come in and pick up their paid for orders and have it be totally contactless. It seemed to be very fast and efficient. There were four of us. Our daughter ordered the tacos and loved them. The rest of us ordered the bbq combo plates. I had the pork and brisket. The portion size was large. I thought the brisket was very moist and tender. I got the fries and paid the extra to get a side salad. The fries are the very thin and crunchy kind. And the salad was amazing. Great greens in it and super fresh. My husband had the ribs and said they were really good. We would definitely return here. Great food and great service.

A beautiful afternoon sitting in their outside area was quite nice! Hubs had the lb. of burnt ends- really good! I had a slider or beef and a slider of pork, both with Cole slaw on top-good. The service was on top of everything, and did a great job of working together! We delayed our lunch from Jackson and found this spot in Victor. WORTH THE WAIT! Price was reasonable considering the quality & area.

Yum!!! The burnt ends were so flavorful and tender. And the portion size was huge I split it with my husband. The mac and cheese was delicious and flavorful as well. Service was great!

One of the few places in Victor open for lunch. It is good and a lot of food. Service was good even though they were very busy.

The B Melt, y'all, the B Melt. I've been a lot of places, and seen a lot of things. The B Melt is one of the tastiest sandwiches ever. I questioned putting cheese on that bad boy prior to trying it, but I have to admit I was wrong. Way wrong. One hundred and eighty degrees wrong. Get the B Melt. My regret is that the wife got the B Melt, and I got the combo. The combo with brisket and ribs was good. The brisket bested the ribs by a decent margin. I'd go with something other than the ribs next time. The mac n cheese side is an excellent option, while the fries were just ok. Just get the B Melt. My son went with the mini sliders. I didn't get to try them but he said they were good, only they were drowning in cole slaw. It did seem as if they were a tad overzealous with the slaw. Get the B Melt. If I made the B Melt, it would be the only thing I'd sell. That's probably why I'm not a business owner. But, if I ever get back to Victor, Idaho, I'm going with the B Melt. While I've written B Melt an unreasonable amount of times, I would be remiss if I didn't mention how great the service was here. Top notch. Great waitress. I just wish she had forced us all to get that B Melt.

The BBQ combo plate was perfect after a long day exploring. We sat outside in the shade while we shoveled in the brisket & ribs which we slathered in their original BBQ. Great list of beers to hit the spot. Parking was plentiful and there's a ramp into the restaurant for those with disabilities. I saw the Mac & cheese go to a different table and wish I had substituted for the baked beans!

Everything about our experience at Big Hole BBQ was incredible. The service from Jessie was top notch; friendly and helpful suggestions. The food was AMAZING. I've been to my fair share of BBQ joints and I don't remember anything as delicious as the burnt ends at Big Hole. The B-melt (brisket) sandwich and Mac & Cheese was also fantastic. You've gotta give this spot a try.

This place was hopping Monday before 4th of July around lunch time. It was great to see what appears to be a real family run business. Kids - helping ru. Food to the tables. When I say kids, some in elementary and middle school. Hopping made it slow to receive food but that has to be expected. We ordered ... pulled pork sandwich with slaw, Brisket sandwich with beans and brisket with chips., burnt ends for starter. Couldn't get ribs because it was before 5pm. Well now for the food. Best BBQ in a very long time. The smoke on the pork and brisket were perfect. Beef was lean and had great flavor. Pork was moist and smoke was on point. Surprise - the Chips instead of fries was the right call. Best house made potato chips!!! I preferred the original sauce while my wife liked the spicy. I also got some of the original bbq sauce to take home. Hand made BBQ sauce was exceptional.

My family and I went to the restaurant with high expectations. When we sat down, our table was still dirty. After getting our food, we were very disappointed. The pulled pork sandwich I ordered was completely flavorless, dry, and at room temperature. The supposed "brioche bun" was a cold, stale hamburger bun. I smothered the sandwich with their "Original BBQ" sauce, but it was still flavorless. The mac and cheese I ordered as a side had very little flavor. My parents got the ribs and said they were pretty flavorless too. The only upside was that our server was very nice and knowledgeable. I work in a restaurant that has incredible food and an amazing atmosphere but only has 3.2 stars. The fact that this place has 4.1 stars is insane to me, as from what I can tell, the food is terrible. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Brisket for the strong at heart! you best be ready for the onslaught to your taste buds, as this is old school, out on the range, barbeque. We had the brisket on the bog hole burger, and the big hole original BBQ sauce. And of course the onion rings... and chased it with Burnt ends,,, so delicious. You may have to wait for a table, but in nicer weather there are 6 or so on the side and some upstairs, all outdoor.

Amazing Barbecue !! You have to try the Burnt Ends. They melt in your mouth. The Ribs were very good and I loved the coleslaw. Misty gave us great recommendations and service. Friendly relaxed Atmosphere!! Highly recommend !!

We have been eating here for years and although we usually have a decent experience and there have only been a few times it's lacked, this order, on Mother's Day, is terrible. I tried to call and speak to them directly but their phone is off the hook. Not a single item of our order is correct. Normally I wouldn't go this route but it was $75 with a 20% tip. -My giant burgers which I did not order are dripping blood. (We ordered two mini burgers) -My ceasar has no croutons or cheese. It's just very rusty lettuce and dressing. -Ordered big hole fries, we didn't get them. -Ordered a small side of mac n cheese, received a full size. To add insult to injury, even if we could call and get through to have this corrected, it's a 16 mile drive round trip.

We had an amazing BBQ dinner at Big Hole BBQ! The Prime rib was good with a nice smokey flavor, but the wings, okra and especially the Burnt Tips were outstanding!  The Burnt tips fell apart when you picked them up, but had a nice crunchy layer. Sooooo good! Heidi, our waitress, was super nice and friendly as well as the rest of the waitstaff. The food was so good, I only got a picture of desert!! We would highly recommend coming here and using them for catering

Fantastic ribs, kind people, quick service. Took to go and was very pleased. Don't recommend the beans as a side; very vinegary.

Can't give it a rating because it's not open - guess they had a fire a few months ago - wish they had updated their social media and phone message to let people know before they drive all the way out here

Good food and great service from Elio! We especially enjoyed the Burnt Ends, Prime Rib Sammy, onion rings, and local brews. The Mac and Cheese bowl was huge. We will be returning the next time we are in town.

I saw this place on my way to Jackson Hole and just felt like I must eat there so we stopped for a late dinner on the way home. Due to our lateness they were out of the brisket I was dying to try. Instead we got the burnt ends, macaroni and cheese, dry rubbed wings and beet salad. Everything was amazing! Including the service:) The beet salad could of had a few more beets but I wouldn't dock a star for that.

Ended up here on a Monday for lunch since most of the restaurants in town were closed or did not open until later. Was able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and got a beer on tap. For food I got a brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese and I must say they piled on the brisket which was good since you only get one side included. My other guests enjoyed their meals as well so I would recommend this spot for good bbq! Not my favorite but it was tasty.

Someone there couldn't stand the heat from my review, and instead of learning from it and figuring out how they could improve like any respectable business would do, they decided to send a message about how I don't know good food because I left a 1 star review of a Carl's Jr, and 5 stars for great service at a McDonald's, diarrhea or not. Oh, and being from California was noted to be humorous, which, yea this state is a joke so can't complain there.

So Guys! Wassup! Hit this place every time We come into town! Last year it was so so... thought possibly bad night... Brought my whole Family to Victor... service was amazing but what is up with the food? It was so bad I was embarrassed we made such as to do about the Big Hole. Big zero! Bummed...

Slightly immoderate prices. Nice atmosphere. Great sauce. However, great barbecue does not require sauce.

Great food and service. If you are coming with a big group they do not allow anyone under 21 upstairs even if its late afternoon. We had 17 people (2 teenagers) so finding enough tables was an issue but we worked it out.

A party of 10 at 2pm on a Monday had no wait! We had phenomenally quick service. Our food was out in 20 minutes. Brisket, sweet potato fries and onion rings were a big hit! Beautiful outdoor seating. Around $200 after tip for 10!
