Never Going Back Again The food was somewhat decent? but the service was shockingly poor — easily the worst I’ve ever experienced at any bar or restaurant.😂 When I ordered wine and champagne, the staff just dropped the glasses on the table without a single explanation. One glass costed even over 20,000 KRW, yet there was no description, no introduction, nothing. Other tables received full explanations and even saw the bottles, which made me wonder why we were treated differently. It didn’t stop there. I ordered four dishes, and not one was explained, while the tables next to and behind us were given detailed descriptions. When I asked about it, the staff blamed it on being scared of a dog at the next table — yet somehow managed to explain everything perfectly to that same table with the dog. As someone working in hospitality, that’s not a valid excuse. If they had skipped explanations for all tables near the dog, I might have understood — but that wasn’t the case, which made it even more frustrating. As someone who values basic respect and professionalism, I found the whole experience unacceptable. I left feeling upset and disrespected. I won’t be returning.

So this is mostly known as an established wine place and rightly so. Of course the atmosphere and the wine selection are A+, but what really stood out to me was the food: fresh seasonal produce and exciting flavour combinations that are still comforting to eat with whatever bottle(s) of wine that ends up on the table. That’s a common weak link with wine bars in Seoul I think. Which brings me to this: I understand they have a bottle order minimum because they’re a wine bar. That’s totally fine and they also let you know on the menu that the next door upstairs wine shop/bar Tetu has the same stuff at a discount. BUT if they provided even a small by the glass rotation, it would be much more affordable and wouldn’t alienate people who’re potentially just looking for a really solid meal… aka take the place to the next level. Nevertheless, before that happens, walk over to Tetu after your dinner, sit down with the owner’s two adorable dogs there, and get a few more glasses in or bring some bottles back home.

If you like natural wine, this is a great place to go

Quite pricey but very good natural wine and food. The burrata cheese on milk bun tastes so good. However it costs 25000KRW. Other dishes were all looked pretty and tasted good. One of the dishes that stood out was pork. Crepe cake looking, thinly sliced potato dish was also good. Other ones were well pared with the wine we selected. The first bottle (ANA) was really good. I would like to go back often but feels quite expensive. — I’ve updated my rating as my recent visit wasn’t as satisfying. The portions are just too small and the prices are too high!

Magnificent wine list and foods. The atomsphere is amazing too. Too bad the wine prices are high.

The food was absolutely delicious. It is a bottle shop, so picking out the bottle is very important but the food was even more so impressive than we expected. The abalone paella is very different than a classic Spanish paella but equally as delicious! Best meal I've had so far in the first two weeks I've been in Korea! We had a natural wine from Italy that was a bit lighter than we were expecting but paired very well with some of the heavier food we ordered.

Excellent food, perfectly cooked. Surprisingly rich wine list. Cool lounge music, too.

The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, a bit on the pricey side, but overall totally worth it. loved their natural wine selection~~ I will definitely bring friends next time~
