Exceptional customer service by the lady and her daughter! They explained the menu to us since it was our first time in. The food is DELICIOUS; everything is made to order by the lady & her husband, but worth every minute of waiting! The wings we had were SO good and we tried the Original Hot (which is homemade) & their BBQ sauce was the bomb! Definitely coming back to try some catfish & shrimp. Oh and we can't forget about the desserts! The daughter makes them all homemade; we tried the peach cobbler & a blueberry cheesecake and was completely blown away! You'll be seeing us again Big Mama's!

for just .30¢ over $10, you can get 3 juicy, delicious chicken tenders, fries, and a drink. the I got my tenders in mild sauce and you can tell they make their food with love. Thank you Big Mama! Will be coming back for more soon!

I was excited to support a Black Owned Business especially when it was recommended. The food was good and the lemonade was super, but the customer service was meh. The cashier that took my order was cold and not friendly at all. Not sure if I will return.

We had a softball tournament in Vegas this past weekend and searched for a wing place nearby and came across Big Mamas. They were so sweet and let us know in advance that it would take a few minutes to get all of our orders out since it was just the parents and daughter. I've been living in Las Vegas for 7 years and last week was my first having catfish that cooked RIGHT. IT WAS HELLA GOOD!! GET ON DOWN TO BIG MAMA'S

The food is amazing here at Big Mama's Wings and Things hands down the best wings I have had in my life, if you enjoy spicy wings get the Lemon Pepper Hot, it will knock your socks off. The restaurant has a nice vibe to it making you feel like you're at home enjoying a great meal. Also the service was great no complaints.

Disgusting customer service. That thang Samantha is a nasty leprech@un! Was nasty when I called. Was nasty when I arrived to get my food aaaaaaaand to add insult to injury laid my food on a table while I stood for about 3 minutes waiting on my food before I walked over and asked "is this MINE"? "Oh (keke, leprech@un laugh), I thought you and him were together". 1st - I met the guy in the restaurant. 2nd - what the he!! us being together got to do WITH MY FOOD NOT BEING PLACED IN MY HAND!!!! This spot is near my place and never knew. We went with the chicken fingers, fries and catfish. We were told it'd be about 20 mins...not a big deal and we knew it would be fresh. We just walked around La Bonita next door for a little bit. Everything was hot and crispy and had great flavor including the fries. The chicken fingers had the perfect breading amount that I like and you have the option for other flavors with the breading. I just like mine plain. You can eat inside as there were plenty of tables available and the lady that helped us was nice to interact with. We'd absolutely come back for more.

Wings are good. A little salty but better than other wing places out here. Lately a lot of wings have been jumbo size & dont taste right but this place had normal size wings. I got the mild wings & it's really mild couldn't taste the heat . Lol but, than again I did get mild . Only bad thing I can say is that when I called to put in an order the cashier or whoever answered came out very harsh . I don't know if she had a strong personality but it was negative. Very impolite. Not so welcoming .

I've been looking for a place in Henderson with good wings. I seen this place on yelp and had mixed reviews so I decided to check it out for myself. I saw many ppl say customer service here was terrible but that's not was I experienced. The ppl were very nice and friendly. Secondly, I order lemon pepper buffalo wing meal. The sauce was AMAZING!!! I added a side of cheese sauce which was $2.50 I thought that was a bit pricey but when I tasted the sauce I understood the price. It's not your regular cheese sauce you get from the gas station or movies, it's more of a Cajun style cheese sauce. Overall the food was great. The only thing I would like to see from my people is a little bit more professionalism when running a business. For example both ladies had on slides, instead of real working shoes. Will I come back again? Yes

Lady had an attitude and food is overpriced and not that good ! Wouldn't visit this place again would rather have wingstop felt like I was being rushed to ordered and they had just opened

I'm having a hard time thinking of ways to describe this food. I had to look in a thesaurus to articulate the pure joy the flavor of these wings gave me. When local businesses put their heart and soul into food you get a reward that sometimes can't be put into words. All I know is I wish I could eat this everyday. I've been before but it's been a long time since I've had time to come back, but I was craving the best wings in town. But that wasn't the only thing, the customer service was far better than it's ever been, and I'm not saying it was bad before, but damn I felt like I was at an exclusive restaurant the way they were checking on me to see how the food was. I really wish I could eat 25 wings but if you have a few friends you would be able too. Although, there might be some debate on who gets the last wing lol. I love how clean the restaurant is and the decor on the wall. You can watch the games and I recommend going here for the Super Bowl. This is my second visit. Food is still unique and great tasting. Had the crab and shrimp fries. The portion served was very filling with plenty of shrimp and crab. I will come back!

Worth the drive all the way to Henderson. They also just created their website and they deliver if you are near the restaurant. Delicious wings, not very saucy but amazing flavor. I personally enjoyed the fries without the crab and wish they had more of the sauce on them that was on the bottom. Takeout service took 20ish minutes when I ordered on Yelp.

Rude told me if I can't make it before 15 I can't get food then turn around and said well what you want I can't make cause we turned the grill off like i don't understand how people run a business don't want to take orders I know when I worked in a restaurant we stopped taking order 9 on the dot not 20 mins before just unprofessional

If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed an order through DoorDash & my order was still saying "order placed after the tome for delivery had passed. When I went to try and cancel the order, it stated that this restaurant delivers there own orders. I contacted the number on file a male answered I informed him I wanted to check the status of my order & he immediately hung up on me and blocked my number. I don't recommend anyone to order from them again. It seems as though they are trying to SCAM people out of their money through the Doordash App. Which is truly sad.

I had some catfish and shrimp delivered.... And the texture and taste... yeah, no thanks. The catfish breading turned into a sort of pita shaped outer shell separate from the catfish in the middle. The shrimp was better, but not good enough that I'll be back. That is all, humans.

Cashier was unprofessional and should probably work in the back or just not work around people. Customer service was below average, energy was very low. Food was decent sauces had great flavor. Ambiance was clean. I would like to come back but honestly the cashier left a bad taste in my mouth.

Call before driving here. It's 1pm on a Saturday (6/24) and it's closed, dark, nobody inside. Thank God it wasn't out of the way for us. Very disappointing. Perhaps the rude girl I've read about in the comments was their demise.

It's such a shame when people are out here struggling to make ends meet and is scammed to get food that you payed for luckily I received my funds back for such a waste of time. I ordered the oxtails meal whatever placed my order through Doordash I received the regular your food is being processed blah blah I noticed that it still stated order placed after almost 45 minutes I decided to call and whoever the bald headed worthless worker who answered the phone but he answered the phone then hung up ‼‼ y'all so trifling I immediately cancelled order I seen a few other comments stating that they won't complete order if you don't tip them I don't tip on doordash when I order when I receive my order in complete satisfaction I will then tip for I have tipped in advance and never received my order ‍ Fool me once shame on me or whatever they say will not be trying again tomatoes tomatoes tomatoes

Don't order from this place. I used DoorDash waited over an hour just for them to mark it as delivered when they never even attempted to deliver. DoorDash said this restaurant uses their own drivers which had I known I would've never ordered. Called the restaurant a CLOWN answered yelled hello multiple times while I was speaking and then hung up the phone. Apparently they are a "new restaurant" maybe just new to DoorDash but they won't ever make a dime from me. Apparently they determine if they want to deliver your food based on the tip you put into the app. Newsflash I've never tried the food and I always update the tip after I do. It's giving "we don't want to make money"

We ordered our food. The wait was 20 minutes but we had to leave the restaurant and wait outside because it smelled like weed so bad. I'm not against 420 but it leaves a smell that isn't pleasant. The smell was mostly coming from the kitchen!!! For this reason alone we will not be back. There was no one in the restaurant other those working there. The chicken tenders were okay. The fries were gross! Not even ranch could help it. I give customer service a D. The cashier had a slight 'I don't care' attitude, didn't really want to provide explanation as to what the different flavors were ie Obama etc. but she did anyway.

Absolutely delicious. Everything made fresh. Yes there is a little wait and it was so worth it. Had the Honey bbq wing combo! I ate in & the place was clean. I do notice details and i was Not disappointed! I would definitely recommend Big Mama's! Already have! They were so attentive and checked in to make sure that we were enjoying our meal. Definitely customer focused. Also tried the peach cobbler and actually bought another one to take home!!! Can't to try the pound cakes. Thank u so much! I be back!

I ordered from here after reading good reviews. It was decent but nothing to rave about. I ordered the crab fries and of course they were super soggy due to the crab and sitting in the container. I really advise they serve the fries separately from the topping for delivery or pick up. The fries were super super soggy even the ones on bottom. The wings were ok I ordered the Obama sauce and another one ( it was supposed to taste like mango habanero). The wings were good, the sauces were sweeter more than anything. The heat level was very very low.

This little gem of a restaurant is one of the best soul food in Las Vegas. The crab and shrimp fries is so amazingly delicious. I cannot wait to go back.

As much as I like to support black owned businesses, this was a difficult review to compose... The food was exceptional, however, Natasha is VERY rude. I placed an order online through Postmates (first time) & it didn't give me the option to have my wings "naked" w/sauce on the side. I decided to call the establishment & I proceeded to ask questions, she immediately gave me an attitude, was not very helpful, & acted as if I was bothering her. She was so rude & unwelcoming I tried to cancel my order. My bf talked me into keeping the order, it took over an hour for our wings/tenders/fries. I would like to give this place another chance but I will not tolerate bad customer service . I am not writing this to be evil but to express my dissatisfaction & bring light to an area of opportunity that can be improved. In conclusion, if you want decent food & don't mind a long wait & attitude then this is the place for you.

Food is pretty good. Only thing i didn't like was that i ordered a catfish meal for my gran dad and they gave him swai. I feel like u should tell people that ur out of catfish before just swapping it out. To top it off swai isn't even on the menu.

I went to this place many years ago. After a basketball tournament. I saw one of the owners on a break. I told it was my first time, she said with confidence, ILL BE BACK! Well here we are. I'm writing a yelp to let the people know, if you ever try their food, you will be back! The customer service and food are all 10s across the board. The chicken bites and catfish is what I normally order and the shrimp. All GOOD!

Food is fye I've been twice ordered 5 or 6 piece wing combo hot & both times wings were crispy and fries were delish Pretty small inside but like a hole in the wall I'll take it over wingstop or bww Good food give them a try you won't regret it

Super cute set up. I was looking for suggestions on what to order or what people order often and she assured me everything was delicious. I was skeptical at first. But she told no lies!! I got the Hot Lemon Pepper wings and a lemonade . It's better than wing stop. The sauce was the perfect blend and it's made in house. I came in with a group; The Obama, the Sweet Chili and the original Hot were all ordered and all loved. Even the first shrimp was good. Husband and Wife duo and it's working!!

I was not pleased. I ordered on postmates. It doesn't state if the combo comes with fries and ask you to select a side: fries were not listed so I made sure to put it in my side note to ask them to make sure my side was fries. Well, the fries do come with the combo and you get a side. So they charged me to another side of fries! Wet and soggy due to the heat. If I wanted a other side I would of fries just added to the cart not put it in a side note. The catfish was subpar at best and fried in old grease. Edible but nothing to rave home about. Unsure of I'll order again.

I'm not from around here but was in the area for the weekend. I love to support small businesses so throw in the fact that they are a black business and I'm down to give it a try. I love that on their menu there is a rolling deck for other small businesses. What a great way to support the community. Now for the food review The lemon pepper wings are a sauce so prepare for that if you're accustomed to a dry rub. When she handed me the food I could smell the flavors and really enjoyed them even though it was a sauce. Now this may be due to the wing shortage but the wings aren't very big so if you have a large appetite you may want to order more. The fish had great presentation. The texture was crispy and looked well breaded. The filets are a little smaller than what we are usually served snd the overall flavor was mild. To enhance your flavor I recommend adding hot sauce. Ordered some plain chicken tenders for the kids who stated they were good and juicy. Lastly we ordered the crab fries. From the pictures you can see there's not a large amount of crab so be aware that you will not have crab throughout. The service was good Staff was friendly and the food came out fresh If they can enhance their flavors and add more to the crab fries I can really see this place becoming a 5/5 venue

The coleslaw, fried shrimp and fried fish were extremely salty. However Big Mama's wings and things provide excellent customer service. Maybe I'll try the wings next time.

Food was Luke warm when delivered and was extremely salty , the fries were really soggy as well. We couldn't even finish the meal.

First off let's talk about how rude and unprofessional the cashier is! My husband and I walked in and we spoke to the young lady and it was a instant attitude,,, no hello,welcome nothing.... she looked highly irritated that we decided to come in and give them any kind of business. My husband was asking about the different flavors they have for the wings and she seemed irritated because he asked. The food is average nothing to brag about or send anyone over there. This is one blk owned business I will not support or advise anyone to go to. They should absolutely be shut down and trained on how to provide customer service and etiquette to a business.

Spent damn near $23 on crab & shrimp fries, just to get undercooked, soggy fries with 5 shrimp and a measley 3oz portion of crab. Highly disappointed is an understatement. Wasn't going to harp on this place but the service and food just isn't there. Not quite sure where they're getting their prices from.

I came here a couple of weeks ago. It was amazing. The service was amazing. The Ambiance was great. And these were the best wings I've had in forever. The place was also very clean. We liked the wings so much we decided to get dessert. We had some peach cobbler that we absolutely adored. This will be a go to place next time I'm in Vegas!

First and LAST time eating here! I try to support urban businesses, but this kind of Nonsense is what turns my stomach! I was basically charged $13 for a Tablespoon of crab!!! Fries don't cost Anything really! Give ppl what you would want to eat and stop serving anything just to get ppl's money. I'm so disappointed with this I refuse to eat it... Update; OMG, my guy came and tried the fries just to find a reddish brown curly Hair in the Fries!!! URG!!!! Run as Fast as you can from this place!!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST WINGS EVER EVER! I'm not one to want wings often. But these wings I could eat Atleast 2-3 times a week. Lol. The lady that helped us out was nice. But I think she had too much on her mind at the time cause she wasn't paying attention to anything I was saying when placing my order. But after much confusion, I finally got my order in. The tables are close together cause the dining room was a bit small. Paper towels at each table. And a lot of sanitizer dispensers available near every table. One bad thing about this place is that there are No bathrooms available. They will tell you to go next door to the barbershop. Ordered the #6 combo. 10 piece wings Original Hot. Yummy. Came with a drink ( 1 free refill ) and fries. There was a perfect amount of sauce. And it was spicylicious. NEW WORD ALERT lmao. Even the ranch was the best. All around goodness. Love the colorful dining room. And the pics on the walls. The lady at front cleans and sanitizes after every customer. Great job!!! I recommend this business to everyone. Better than any wing spot I have tried or even reviewed on Yelp so far.

The young cashier there is so rude! Didn't want to explain anything when asked questions about the menu and had an attitude. Felt very unwelcoming. The crab was so little, felt like a tablespoon of it was added, and the fries with it tasted plain. Was looking forward to trying something new but won't be returning there again.

This is a order in - take out place in all seriousness. There are maybe 12 tables seating 2 each. If you go in don't expect much EXCEPT for good food. The fried catfish / shrimp combo is great and is a lot of food. The crab fries were very unique but very tasty. I will go again but order in and take out I only tried the catfish shrimp combo but will probably reorder it

Ok if you havent found this place yet.....let me tell you your not looking hard enough. This place is smakin. The wings are on point delicious and flavorful. There is no flavor yet I have not been happy with. So check them out.

We looked for Black Owned and we conquered. Clean and bright. Top notch Customer service from the entry to the exit. Delicious homemade seasoned to perfection chicken, fish, fries, sides, cakes, drinks all made fresh and served steamy!

So I was doing laundry next door and decided to give Mama's Wings a try for lunch. I ordered a deluxe burger, from the very nice lady taking my order. The deluxe has lettuce, tomato, onion and fries. I added Jalapeños and pickles for .75 cents. Bottled water for $1.25... all good! 20 minutes to deliver. Win! This means the food will be freshly made. I came back in 20 and though I ordered to eat in the cafe it was packed to go. The sweet lady was going plate it for me but not necessary. I sat down and mowed my fresh burger with crispy lettuce and onion and juicy tomato. The fries were crispy and hot, without salt, allowing you to add your own. I like that. Overall the food was good and satisfying. What I want to highlight is the exemplary service I witnessed while dining. The young lady was on her own running the operations. She delivered food to patrons with the hospitality of kin folks. Everyone is family. The gent seated behind me casually stated, without expecting anything, that he was surprised that the sauce was not what he was expected. Not sure exactly what transpired but the doting lady made him a new batch of wings without charge to make the customer satisfied.... His friend asked what do they do to make their wings taste so good... best wings he's ever and she said ,have a nice day, with a big pretty smile, on my way out the door. Support you local small businesses. This is a good one.

3.5 Stars Although I was in search for a Big Mama, I wasn't disappointed to get their Catfish instead. Hi. My name is Remy the Rat, famously known as the main actor in Ratatouille. I have scoured the earth to find the perfect meal. This is not the place, neither has any other place other than my restaurant. In all seriousness, Big Mamas was not a disappointment. My real rating is 3.5 stars. The catfish was cooked perfectly with great flavors coming from the fried batter. My only issue with Big Mamas is the lack of sides that come with a combo. I received two pieces of white bread toast, fries, and coleslaw. Yes, the fries were decent. Yes, the toast was just toast. And the slaw was decent. But I need a couple options. Mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, or even potato salad. Either way, their fish is pretty damn good. Lastly, I will say I believe it is a bit over priced. Do I recommend it? Give it a try, why not? Although, I will be waiting for some more side options. Until then, farewell Big Mamas. As for now, I will continue my journey to find a big mama. Remy Out!

My order was taken by a pleasant woman, who later returned to ask if I wanted a refill; no service issues for me. Ordered a lemon pepper medium (bone-in). Hot ,tasty fries, blue cheese, and celery sticks accompanied my wings, which were nicely sauced, crispy underneath, and made to order. Enjoyed, will return.
