Really nice place, they had a mini course that was $10 per person and a huge drink option, had a nice chill vibe. would definitely come back. the prices are affordable and the atmosphere is very nice.

Really nice space but we showed up Saturday evening, was about half full. Golf? 1.5 hour wait. Pizza? Too busy to accept orders right now, come back in 15 minutes. Had a drink came back in 15 minutes, got told off for trying to order. Not sure what’s going on with this place. Website says: “On the weekend, during peak hours, there may be a short wait, but the beauty of our space is that there's so many FREE games to explore while you're with us: bags, shuffleboard, video games, giant jenga, and more. And of course, while you're there, feel free to enjoy a tasty DRINK or two and some of our delicious FOOD!” Work to be done to live up to it…. We left and went elsewhere. Edit: Just re comments from the place below, why I wrote the review - it wasn’t that busy…. There was tons of open seating in the bar/restaurant space. Was at most half full.

Seems cool. Wish I had an opportunity to enjoy. Came at 8pm on a Saturday and the wait was over 1.5 hours to play golf. This would suck but be understandable if they didn’t go out of their way on their website to say that walk-in only at the Lakeview location is super chill and there is barely a wait even at peak times. Would strongly suggest going back to reservations or taking that misleading language out of their website.

Friendly staff, decent food, and mini-golf, which is both challenging and fun make this place the place to be! The nachos were the best; signature drinks are intoxicating. It's a great place to relax in our busy city!

I would have gave a 5 however the bartender on Feb 12 after 7pm was not a vibe. It was my 1st there and did not want to run go over drunk or food menu at the bar. I don’t know if I was with a woman and being masc presenting had to deal with it. Made it very uncomfortable to approach the bar. (He seemed not to care and only cares for his food he was eating) I will say who I was with we had a good time mini golf and the host was amazing. Seems like the bartender does not like same sex couples was the vibe he gave. As well being Hispanic.i will continue to go to Wicker Park location.

Big Mini has quickly turned into one of my favorite places in the lakeview area. We went to play mini golf and were pleasantly surprised by how much they have to offer. From active games to bar games, this location has some of everything and I will be coming back often to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere that most bars seem to be lacking these days. Friendly staff, clean, well thought out floor plan, and great entertainment - 5/5 stars!

Big Mini Lakeview is so fun! As someone who has been to their Wicker Park location, I was pretty familiar with the concept, but was truly surprised by how well the team did with building this location out. Whether you are coming to for a drink, play a few games in the back, or for mini golf, there is plenty of space. The mini golf course is a lot of fun and has a few challenging holes that make you stop and think about the game. The bar service was great, so I would encourage everyone who lives in the neighborhood to try it out.

Disappointing Decline in Quality I used to love this place a couple of months ago! the pizza and food was fantastic—fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, recent visits have been disappointing. The pizza now tastes off, and tastes like frozen pizza. It seems like they've changed their recipes or ingredients, resulting in a significant decline in quality. I hope they can return to their former excellence, but for now, I will be going across the street to Panino’s.

From out of town, came with my son and dil So fun for all ages! Grabbed a fun drink from the bar, not only do they have beer, wine, but super fun cocktails and cocktails that are soooo good Then it was on, putt putt inside with ac on a hot humid summer day, got a couple hole in ones, and they also have tables to sit at and hang, large jenga or connect four, also have cornhole and a couple arcade games This place is super fun, and pretty reasonably priced Doesn't have a lot of fun but some pizza and some pretty amazing smelling snacks Definitely will be back

A great place to have a drink and play some mini golf. The course itself doesn't change often, but it's fun to come back every few months just for a change of pace. In the back are a few arcade games and off the entrance is a TV with a Nintendo. The last time we tried to use the Photo Booth I am pretty sure it ended up eating a few bucks and never produced any photos, hopefully that is fixed now. The ambiance is nice, the setup has you feeling like you're outdoors with picnic tables and lights strung up. I haven't tried the food yet, but am happy they ended up getting a small kitchen. The drinks themselves are great and the bartender was chill.

This is my favorite neighborhood spot. Great for gatherings of new and old friends. Special shout out to the bartending staff and Lucky who makes the pizza. Lucky is amazing!

Fun indoor mini golf course! There are also some arcade games, darts, and video games. Lots of drink options, I appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic options, there was a whole menu for those in addition to non-alcoholic beers. Our group was also able to bring in outside food, but for those interested I believe they do have an option to purchase pizza.

Super fun spot! A friend of mine had a birthday party at Big Mini Putt and we had a really good time. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the space is awesome. I love big open concept, so even if you aren't the ones playing putt putt, you can still watch and be part of the action. As for the putt putt, there are 9 holes. They're pretty close together, but I never felt like the people behind us were pushing us along or impatient, I think because the environment is so laid back and relax. The courses are really fun and clever! I think it took us about a half hour to make our way through, and at the end there's a chance to win a free drink! I believe Big Mini Putt is drinks only (I didn't see a food menu or anyone eating). I can't speak on the cocktail menu, but I did have a really great mule mocktail! I had a fun time here! Great rainy day or date night activity. I'm sure I'll be back.

This establishment is chill and super clean. The gold is fun and the bar is nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have great hours and were even open until 10:30 on Easter. Ferguson was jive and Corey the bartender is even nicer! These guys are friendly and smiley!

The place is a great time! We went to celebrate a coworker's last day at work and it was a blast! Also, happy hour $5 draft beers? Really great! I had both of their IPAs and I'm pretty sure I bought 4 in the hour of happy hour I had access. Also, it's a full bar so I had to buy at least one shot of Malort for the guy leaving right? But anyway, a great place to go with friends, coworkers, etc. They have group packages online so definitely register there first. Also although the courses are pretty tightly close together, they were still a good time with cool designs too! But, note that only groups of 4 can putt together, so we had our groups split in 4 but you can still interact in the same space. Also, you can bring your drink on the course, so even better! I'll definitely be recommending others to go. Great experience, their staff was really cool too!

Came here on a Saturday night for date night and we had a BLAST!! (Mostly bc I kicked my bf's butt!) It took us about 30 min to go thru all 9 holes so it's a pretty quick game. The drinks were tasty and the course was super whimsical! (See Sasquatch.) The two guys manning the desk were friendly. Definitely would come back again... or maybe we'll have a rematch at the Wicker Park location :p. They don't have serve food unfortunately but there's no shortage of good eats nearby.

Summary: a great option if you're seeking a chill bar (with lots on tap / cocktail menu) with mini golf. The mini golf course is a fast game play at 9 holes- approx 30 mins depending on crowd and group size. It's a fun course but I wish on non-busy days they would let you keep playing rounds instead of limiting to one. I feel like they'd sell more drinks this way. The bar is large, bartenders are friendly, and there are a handful of arcade games as well. They allow you to bring or order your own food which is cool. All in all, I would compare this to the miniature golf version of replay. It's more of a chill bar- come here to drink, catchup with friends, and chill. The mini golf feels more of an accoutrement than the reason to come back but it's fun. All and all a cool place, nice vibes, and glad it's in the neighborhood. A huge upgrade from what this store front use to be

We didn't eat. Was a little disappointed in the food selection, so we faded eating here and slid to the bistro. Update later on how that goes. Mini golf was fun, but fo sho some cap that someone scored a 16. They could use some more holes tbh. Still fun though. The workers were chill and all pretty nice. Ambiance is def insta worthy. Pizza maker guy does need to hurry his operation up cause wowww that took a hot sec. Lowkey got ignored at the bar trying to get a refill, yall gotta be getting more observant ong.

I had such a fun time at Big Mini with my friends last month, it's a perfect addition to the neighborhood! We were looking to do something other than sit at a bar and this was a blast! We enjoyed playing 9 holes of mini golf and the drinks were great. Service was friendly, everything was clean and the ambiance was fun. I can't wait to return with friends and think this would also make a great outing for a company holiday or team-building event.

Was stoked to check this place out as they recently opened in East Lakeview / Boystown, and I'd heard great things about their other location but my initial reaction is, meh. The bar is big and spacious but they were missing a few items from their online menu...nbd. The service was super slow (but super friendly!) as they only had a single bartender working. He was totally overwhelmed as people arrived in groups for their tee times, as we did, so he never had a chance to catch up. It was a warm and humid day, and they had their front windows open...it was so hot my drink ice melted quick and I couldn't get back to the bar for a cold one due to reasons above. The course is 9 holes, cramped, plays pretty quick and frankly...lacking creativity. I've had more fun playing at the chicago park district course on Diversey (and they have a bar, too!). Also, other patrons left their drinks on the tables and ledges throughout the course, which is just rude of them, but maybe having a busser and/or server on the course would help. Our group likes to drink, but literally had only a single adult beverage each and went to a local (air conditioned) bar immediately after we finished our round. I'm also bitter I lost the game by two strokes...but that's my problem. Haha All in all not a bad experience per se, just meh. Could be better with some improvements, but probably a one-and-done for me and my group.

The vibes at Big Mini on Halsted are pure fun. High ceilings, large windows, including two that roll up like a bay doors to allow for fresh air, all lend itself to a clean, fun environment that has space for friends. Some of us come in weekly for the mini-golf and it is always a stellar time. The staff is warm, welcoming, and the course never gets old! The cocktail menu has a wide selection from fruity to boozy and the beer menu is expansive. There are numerous NA options for those so inclined as well. Big Mini now serves pizza and let me tell you it rocks! The crust is perfectly thin, crispy, and the ratios are spot on. I highly recommend checking them out!!!

This was a very fun and young place in the heart of Wrigley! The prices for drinks were decent for the taste and size. All staff was nice and accommodating when needed. Only thing was that the groups were not really regulated and you seemed to always be waiting behind other guests.

This is the second location in Chicago and has such a great atmosphere! It's also nearly double the size of the Wicker Park spot, making it a really great place to come even if you're not playing mini golf. The full size bar has plenty of seating and TVs, plus they've got a big beer list at decent prices. You can't beat the unique, custom murals that depict various areas around the city, too! There are only 9 holes which can be played pretty quickly, but if you score a hole in one on the last one, you can win a free round of golf and play again!

We had a birthday party at Big Mini Putt Club and it was perfect. The staff was great and made some outstanding cocktails. The mini golf course was great fun. What a fun way to spend an afternoon! We will be back.

Second time coming here and two for two bad experiences with staff. Bartender was making it apparent he was trying to close even though there were four groups actively playing mini golf, and it was 8pm. As a service industry worker, I completely understand a volume centric business but I really felt like the bartender wanted to make it clear everyone here was unwelcome. Would love to recommend the drinks but the service ultimately left a bad taste in my mouth. The absolute highlight was the wonderful guy working at the booth, believe his name was Eli. SO sweet and accommodating and made us feel so welcome! We stayed and spent money entirely because of him.

Visited this spot on New Year's Eve with some good friends. Great vibes and fun mini golfing! Good way to stay active on your night out. Also some games scattered around the place. Very friendly staff. We had an amazing night there. Highly recommend!

Such a fun place for date night! They have 9 holes of mini golf, a great bar with fun cocktails, and a variety of games to play (giant connect 4, free video games, and giant jenga). It seems like a popular spot with a pretty young crowd. All the employees were nice and friendly. Id definitely return!

Crazy holes the courses problem with wasted two stars that's a lot is that they don't 18 holes common guys do a better job.

Big shot out to big mini putt and especially Ferg. Recently in town visiting with my wife and kids. Drove down from Sheboygan and oh don't you know. Fantastic atmosphere. Was greeted by Ferg and his staff who took great care of myself and the munchkins. We had a dandy of a time. Kids had a blast playing mini golf and the wife and I got to enjoy a couple of stiff cocktails. We're a competitive family so we had a few friendly bets on the line. I was lucky enough to win the bets and that when Ferg again took care of us at the bar. What a fella. I cannot wait to visit again soon.

Drinks are great, music is poppin, and Gabby is my favorite bartender! I often come in just to have a drink for the good vibes.

Came on a Friday night, we had great service with an attentive bar tender and the course was a blast. Highly recommend this experience, after going to Puttery this place was above and beyond our experience there.

Such a great bar! The mini putt course is fun, challenging, and really plays into the Chicago theme. My friends and I really enjoyed the drinks (shoutout to Bartender Ferg for the great cocktails and service!). We will definitely be coming back to set the course record.
