Interesting spot, I’d recommend aiming for the second level, it was much more comfortable than “the pit” area. However I did go to an EDM show so might be different based on artist/genre. Drinks are what you would expect, wasn’t hard to get them when needed though. I’d try to go to The Royale or Roadrunner instead if you’re looking to catch a GA standing room show, but still had a good time here

**Epic Night at Big Night Live!** My first time at Big Night Live was for G Herbo's show, and it did not disappoint! The energy was insane, and one of the openers, Kuttah, absolutely killed it. The bartenders and security were top-tier—super hospitable and professional, making the experience even better. It was packed to the brim, but the vibes were unbeatable. Definitely returning for more! 🔥😎🙌 #GHerbo #BigNightLive #401Kuttah #DJ4EIGN

Google
Super lit experience! Great staff, super clean bathrooms and the sound was insane! Saw Benny The Butcher, Grafh, OT Tha Real, and a bunch of other sick artists. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Pros: Nice staff, Active Security, Clean Bathroom Cons: Very hot, No ventilation, Weak pat down ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Update: I came back for another event 2 weeks later. I’ve got to say I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or if the owner truly cares about our reviews but the venue was a little chilly ( Loved it ) and the pat down was more thorough, I saw more things being taken ( vapes, pepper spray ) and the pat down itself took longer. Which doesn’t bother me because it’s for safety. I have yet to see a violent interaction. I don’t understand how people are complaining about the split lines for pat downs. Yes it is split by M & F but as the same as law enforcement, to ensure nobody feels uncomfortable they match you up with a security guard of your sex to pat you down. I actually think it makes sense. I wouldn’t want a man patting me down. Bartenders are nice. One drink per person. They don’t let you get 2 drinks and “bring one to your friend that’s holding a spot on the floor” which to some may be annoying but this is how underage drinking becomes an issue at other venues. When I saw a girl unconscious, I grabbed a bartender and he was compassionate and proactive and carried her out immediately. I like this venue and I will from now on check this place before anywhere else for another event! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Google
I am not a sound engineer but something is way off with the sound at Big Night Live. The first band’s vocals were distorted, almost sounded like screeching tires, and not in a fun way. The second band had some sort of weird echo on the drums. Not as distracting as the first band but noticeable. Then the third band sounded way off. The vocals were distorted again and the guitar sounded like it needed to be turned up. I am not sure who is manning the soundboard but they need to do a better job. Will be a while before I try this venue again.

Google
I’ve visited quite a few times. There’s NO RE-entry. However it’s consistently a good turnout and diverse shows that come out!

Google
We saw nora en pure there. The bass was so insanely cranked and echoey, that we couldn't always hear the actual song, just super loud thuds. I'm not sure if it was the setup, or the structure of the place--some spots were better than others, but when going into the 2 mosh pits, it was especially bad. I intially thought it was the dj mixing badly, but nope. I noticed people took a long time to feel the music because of this. Even with ear plugs, you may get a headache. Over time, I did my best to enjoy it for what it was. The artist herself was great. What is pushing me to go with 2 stars instead of 3 were that the drinks were insanely expensive for even simple drinks, I didn't even get a buzz going. They also have like, half the room as a VIP section, hardly anyone used it so it was a giant empty space and it contributed to walkways being a little awkward (you had to enter the dance floors from only one spot). So, while ultimately I enjoyed myself, I can't recommend this place in the state it's in.

Alan Walker at Big Night Live felt like therapy in a hoodie. 🎶✨ The lyrics hit harder than my seasonal depression, and somehow every beat was a warm hug for my overworked soul. 🥹💜 It wasn’t just a concert — it was an emotional reset button with lasers. I came for the music, stayed for the feels, and left feeling a little more human. Big Night Live, thank you for the healing — and Alan, please narrate my life from now on. 🫶

Yelp
I had a good time here, don't get me wrong. It's a nice venue, I like how spacious it is, and there was even some confetti and such dropping from the ceiling during the Gimme Gimme Disco I came here for. Parking around the Garden is expensive, so we parked 10 or so minutes away and walked. ID's were checked right outside, then I proceeded to coat check ($5) as it was wintertime, then you head upstairs where they check your event ticket at the top. Down a hallway it opens up into a big event space, which is L-shaped. There are a couple bars - and they're expensive! Like so expensive! I got a $20 Truly which to be fair was massive, but was definitely a better deal than the $20 cocktails. The dance floor definitely had some room and my whole group was able to get down there whenever we wanted, unlike another club in the Seaport. So, I'd be back for sure. It's a good location, and I had a good time, although maybe that was morsel the event's doing.

Yelp
My wife and I came here recently for a WWE meet and greet that was hosted here for the venue. While I have not done many of these it felt extremely unorganized and a giant disaster. I heard many people share this sentiment as well. The experience was bad enough I would avoid coming to another event if this is the venue. I heard many of the staff not knowing what was going on and saying it was all WWE. I don't believe them though because I trust that WWE does so many meet and greets and events that they know how to operate them. The madness started with the box office opening at 2 and you needed to go there before jumping into the actual line. We got into the normal line sometime around 2:30 pm and were around the front of our line. It was advertised the event would be at 4 but due to multiple people being advertised for meeting I understood seeing the person we bought a ticket for would be a little later. That is an understatement and we got our picture sometime after 7 pm. I know that different members of staff were saying widely different things to different people that lead to so much confusion and many being in the wrong lines or skipping box office. Then despite being in lines they so many times came through and asked for specific groups of people depending on your purchase making the lines pointless in some ways. Then finally once our line moved inside it lead to another line and continued onward to another line and line upon lines. It honestly felt never ending and things seemed to change so many times. Like I said I would avoid this venue for any future events. Mismanaged chaos would be the perfect description.

Yelp
I had a positive experience at Big Night Live. I recently came here for a concert. The space itself is intimate -- I recommend getting there early so you can snag a good spot. I did so, and I think if I was standing anywhere else I definitely would have felt claustrophobic. Before doors open, the line starts downstairs outside. This sucks in the winter, so be sure to dress warm! The coat check fee is $5 which isn't bad -- they take both cash and card. I cannot speak for the bar experience because I didn't order anything.

Yelp
I went here for the winter wonderland pop up and loved it! The decor was stunning, the drinks were beautiful, and there was so much seating. I had some frustration with figuring out which days it was open, but once I figured that out I loved the place. I believe they have started to figure out a calendar system to keep track of which days they are closed for private events

Yelp
Every time I go to Big Night Live it's like going to an ex-situationship's house. Extremely dirty and toxic. Specifically the bouncers. Not sure if the bouncers are part of BNL's staff but they are ALWAYS so rude and disrespectful. One bouncer did not let me or my friends in because they claimed the BNL staff "kick us out for a reason." We literally just got there, most of the population of that night's concert was Asian. He mistaken us for another group of Asian girls and couldn't understand that we were NOT the same people. There was multiple groups standing outside in the snow confused by what is going on because the bouncer was throwing a fit. It was so bad that his fellow bouncer coworker had to tell him to chill out because he was being super immature and inappropriate. Some recommendations I have for BNL is to hire bouncers/staff that are NOT RACIST. My friends and I have never felt so discriminated and seen such abuse of authority from any venue before The bouncer that claimed we were another group of Asian girls is pictured below.

Yelp
Went to the Machine Girl concert here with my 16 yr old daughter. Great venue. Great acoustics. Lots of security. Located right next to the TD Center. Easy to get to. Centrally located in Boston. Definitely recommend for your next concert experience
google avatar

Megan Y.

Yelp
Came here for a Wombats concert and it was a great time! Thankful that they keep it cool in there, as it definitely heats up quickly when you're dancing. I also appreciate that they have two levels so you can easily see the stage even from further back! Can't speak for the drinks, but as far as the concert went, had a lot of fun here :) Pro tip: check if there are also events in TD garden as that heavily impacts traffic!

Matthew S.

Yelp
Fraudulent business practices here. They tell people come before 11 PM for no cover. Then you arrive at 10:30 PM, giant queue and they want people to pay $20 even though they were in queue way earlier. They are fleecing the consumer for their incompetence at moving the queue. They should be boycott.

Yelp
We have hosted two events at BigNight Live-Boston. Service was underwhelming. Security was nonexistent for VIP bottle service. Venue charges hefty and exorbitant prices no only to patrons but for hosting making it one of the expensive venues all the way around. And venue confused bills and tried to overcharge certain patrons for other tabs. The venue is poorly run.
google avatar

Mad A.

Yelp
Crap venue. Tired of my favorite artists booking here when there are several other, nicer venues in Boston. Drinks overpriced in comparison to other venues as well. I will say the staff is wonderful.

Yelp
Learned helplessness is when you've spent so much time being disappointed, even when you have the opportunity to escape disappointment, you end up not doing it. That's my relationship with Boston clubs. I SHOULD know to not even try, save my $40 and spend it on some craft beers or good tacos or flushing it down the toilet, because there's no way a club called Big Night Live in Boston is going to do anything but disappoint. it subscribes to the same pathetic business model of girls in stripper attire carrying sparklers and bottles of nonsense to the unhappy VIPs who happen to have most of the dance floor real estate. How someone at one of those tables doesn't feel shame at the spectacle is beyond me. As beyond me as paying however many thousand it cost them. Two stars because it hasn't been around long enough to be filthy. Give it a couple months.

Benjamin M.

Yelp
I'm not the core demographic here, I get that. It's a club and expensive but if that's how you choose to spend your money, fab.
google avatar

Sophia L.

Yelp
Currently my favorite club in Boston because it is the best venue for enjoying music. Great view of stage from the dance floor, spaced away from the VIP tables (which also have a great view). Overall a solid venue layout. Crowd depends on artist, drinks in Boston anywhere are pricey, and no issues with the staff once inside. Best to take the T or rideshare out, because parking on the street is impossible (and the garage can add up).

Yelp
Last night I went to Bop to the Top at Big Night Live. I debated for days on whether I should take my sister with Down Syndrome. I am so glad I did. It was me, her, and two of my friends (in case I needed backup!). After waiting in line for an hour and dancing, we were greeted by Matt (a manager), who escorted us up the elevator and to a reserved ADA spot (we did not know they had this!). To our surprise, it was next to the stage. This gave my sister the opportunity to dance in front of the stage, while also allowing her to sit when needed (her stamina is not great) and escape the crowd. Had we not had this, we would have had to stand all night, and she would not have lasted the whole night. It also had close-by private bathrooms, allowing her to avoid standing in line and me to assist her more easily. Matt introduced us to three security guards named Ray, Amauris, and Wilmarys. They were some of the most incredible, sincere, and compassionate people I have ever met! They treated her like any other person (not the aww, she has Down Syndrome look), but at the same time, watched out for her like a little sister. No one was going to stand in front of her, crowd her, push her, or anything. They made sure of it! This allowed me to enjoy myself and not be constantly worried, but also for her to be as independent as possible. At one point, the smoke guns went off, and she was startled, covering her ears. I have never seen people jump so fast to check on her. It was truly amazing. We also met another manager that night, Nick, who, with the help of the security guards above, got her on stage! This was such a magical moment for her! I could not thank all of them enough for everything they did to ensure a fantastic night for all of us (especially her). I would not think twice about bringing her to another show here. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Yelp
probably the worst setup for a nightclub. DJ costa is awful, likely in the midst of a midlife crisis, and the music he plays is reminiscent of a high school prom. go here once just to see how awful it is! and please spread the word about how awful this place really is. Boston can do better than this millennial, prepubescent, sterile, boring, and cringe place. do better

Kaleigh C.

Yelp
worst venue ever, tried to get in with our tickets but some egotistical, 4'10 bouncer was feeling brave and told us twice to get out of line and "take a lap for 30 minutes" ??? get a grip bud, i'm sure the power trip was the highlight of your day but maybe do your job the right way. he was just mad that we had the height he wanted, and probably the looks too. also so overcrowded that we couldn't even move anywhere and had to stay standing by the bar where men twice our age thought it'd be fun to not leave us alone the whole time. just a trash venue tbh

Yelp
Process: I booked a table with Andy and everything was fine. They have a map of the tables and you pick which one you want - I did it via text, which I recommend since you will have a written copy of the back and forth so that when you arrive there you can show them the text thread if they mess yo your table (which happened to us). Arrival: We got there on the early side, which worked out for us since they had the wrong table assigned to us. The amount you pay for the ones on the side are all 2k, buy the view of the stage is very different depending on where you are. Some of the seats are blocked by pillars so make sure you pick the right seats if you're going to actually see the DJ. Table: All was good until the people at my next table showed up. We were given a minimum of 10 people. The table next to us, offered at the same price had around 30 people in it. When I asked, it was because it had "two hosts". Not sure what that means. Guess it meant that they were allowed to do whatever they wanted. See the video of the guy just dancing it up on top of the seats in the section we paid for? He was not part of our party. However, he was certainly in our section. Best of all, our server did nothing, security did nothing and all I got was a "sorry, it shouldn't have happened, but he comes here often." So if things like this don't bother you, you'll probably have a better experience than I did. Just make sure you bring a couple of big guys who can be your personal bouncers. Really unfortunate what happened. Wanted to like it, ended up being annoyed. Not worth the 2k I paid. Don't get a table unless you have to or have friends who work here ‍ general floor is honestly good enough to enjoy the experience. Food: pizza was good though, one star for that!

Yelp
We came here for Slander and the experience from the start to end was amazing. The staff are extremely nice and not rude. It was very clean in and out of the building. Before entering the building they will check your IDs. You go through metal detectors and get patted down after. I saw a bunch of vapes being thrown away on the floor so make sure not to bring them. After being patted down, they scan your tickets and you are free to go in. The bar is right at the entrance and the prices are around $15 per drink. We asked the bartender to surprise us with something sweet and did not regret a thing. It was surpsingly a lot bigger than I had expected as the last concert I went to was probably half the size of this location. It was pretty crowded but not to the point where everyone was touching eachothers shoulders.
google avatar

Melinda B.

Yelp
Can someone tell me why the carpet was sticky and wet upon arrival? I brushed against a wall and my pants are now sticky. I probably don't want to know.

Amy N.

Yelp
Whomever the very tall and thin security guy is (has glasses) that was working Sunday night (5/12/24) needs some MAJOR training on how to interact with patrons. Not only was he rude to us, I then watched him have the same attitude with several other people at the show. You would have thought we were doing something super out of line...but he barked in my face while we were simply walking by. That's it...walking. I really wish I knew his name, because he is detrimental to your business. If it was once, I could excuse it. The fact that I witnessed him interact this way with several customers tells me that this is an ongoing issue. Some positives- I had a very pleasant interaction with another security guy while I was waiting at the merch table. He was super nice! The sound at BNL was also great.
google avatar

Adam B.

Yelp
The staff here is rude and obnoxious. There are a bunch of arbitrary rules not present at other Boston venues. They act like TSA workers.

Molly M.

Yelp
I went out with my friends for the Halloween bar crawl this year, and the bouncer (white man, bad buzz cut) who checked our ID's was incredibly rude. I don't know his name but he was very aggressive with me and didn't allow me inside even though I am 24 years old. He checked my ID and for whatever reason believed it was fake, but he did not scan it or anything and just said it was fake even though I had my debit card which obviously had the same name on it. He called the cops who were very nice and understanding and basically said it didn't matter that my ID was real because the bouncer had decided that he didn't want to let me in. All in all it was a super disappointing end to our night and I think that the bouncer was on a power trip and just didn't want to let me in. Probably won't return to Big Night Live in the future. He fucking sucks!
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
Five stars when it's not too crowded, 3 stars when it is. I came for illenium and as expected, it was packed. Expect to get your shoes stepped on 10+ times, elbowed in the head 4+ times if you're short like me, and be left with basically no view of the stage because of being crammed front and back by people. Not the best venue to see an artist, also not the worst. But I don't think I would come back again on a crowded night, even for illenium.
google avatar

Amaziah A.

Yelp
ReggaeFest was dope! The drinks were bussin and the music was lit. Definitely coming back
google avatar

Catherine B.

Yelp
Paid for a table. Watched our server person pour shots for her friends who kept coming by the table (some wearing staff uniforms, some not). After the third set of friends came by I finally said "I see you doing that" and stood by her for the last third of the concert to make sure she didn't steal from us more. So annoying. Venue was great and concert was amazing. But never had to deal with a server like that before. EDIT: she was pouring shots (a couple at a time) then holding them behind her back. Her friends would then walk by the table and grab the shots. They'd come back later and put the shot glasses in the used glass bin. We went through an extra two bottles so she probably did it a bunch of times before I started to catch on.

Thom K.

Yelp
This is by far the worst music venue in Boston for pretty much every reason you can imagine. Poorly staffed, poorly designed, poorly named. I wouldn't go here if an immediate family member was performing and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Dance floor is way smaller than it looks. It seems like it can hold 1/4 the capacity of the venue. It's a horrible layout. During concerts, you can only enter and exit the dance floor from one side (which is partially blocked by massive beams), which traps people on the overcrowded dance floor. This felt like a massive safety issue to me. I saw one woman fall and almost get trampled. I saw another woman pass out and her friends couldn't do anything because they couldn't get off the dance floor. I saw countless small skirmish on the dance floor because the staff lets more and more people on the dance floor which just swishes everyone already on the dance floor with no where to go. There's only 1 bar for GA, but it doesn't matter because you can't move anyway. I've been to 100s of concerts and club nights. You could not pay me to go here again. The whole experience was unpleasant and it seemed like someone could have easily gotten hurt.
google avatar

Garima G.

Yelp
Loved this venue! The lightings and sound system are great. The only thing the bass got a bit heavy at one point. Would like to have them release set times

Samantha S.

Yelp
Not the fault of staff. Management needs to step it up. TSA takes pictures of ID/passports because it can be dangerous to bring your IDs to a club. You're not better than TSA. It's not on your staff- grow up, management. Get into 2024. Pictures count, especially if we're close to 40. Pick a different club, everyone. This one needs to get with the times
google avatar

Dave J.

Yelp
Worst venue in Boston. If this venue stopped trying to pretend it was a rock club (a la The Axis and Avalon that used to be next to Fenway), and stuck to be the bougie nightclub it's trying to be half the time, or only booked bands that tend to play expensive intimate shows (like Death Cab for Cutie or something) it would be one thing. But somehow this venue is booking bands that should never play a club like this and it ruins the experience. No punk fan wants to pay 2x the cost of the ticket to park, nor $17 for a drink. If you're savvy (and lucky) you can find some street parking with a short walk. Otherwise best bet is to park by government center and walk to BNL. I have mixed feelings about the service: It can be chaos at the bar, and bartenders don't pay attention to who's been waiting longer. Which really adds to the sting of the overpriced, under-poured cocktails. There was a really tall guy who kindly informed us it was time to clear out, and I explained I was finishing my drink and he was very nice about it. The guy at the entrance who took my ID was also cool. I definitely would avoid this place as much as possible. Terrible location, high costs and poor viewing angles of the stage make this a hard pass.
google avatar

S D.

Yelp
For the venue... the design is chaotic. To get into the show area, these seems to be only one way in or out. You had to fight and push through a one human walking path to get to any point in the place. Add in tiers and rails... im not sure who designed this... but dont make any more!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
If an unsexy suburban hotel was going to open a music venue, it would be this place. The space itself is designed well enough to see and hear, but overall it's kind of uninspiring, and the sound and light people aren't very good. I saw a show here recently, and the band had to ask the lighting person to turn on some of the stage lights so the audience could see them. Also, one of the mics was so low that nobody could even hear that singer's voice. In fact, everyone kept yelling to turn up the mic, but to no avail. I'm not sure what draws bands to play here when Boston has several other new and better venues that are both more professional, and better organized. Apart from that, show tickets are way overpriced, and, unlike most venues, this place still tacks on an extortionate service fee, even when you buy tickets in person at the box office.

Yelp
True Score: 3.5 Stars Convenient The Music Hall/Concert space, Big Night Live, accommodating up to 2000 guests, almost 1500 of which are in the music hall, the multiple levels offer every guest the best view in the house, fully elevating your nightlife and live music hall experience. First visit was right before the COVID shutdown. My wife and I saw Queensrÿche there. The venue is new and has great sound. It is also setup where you can get out and visit the restaurant on the side to get some air and a drink. Overall, basically right inside a The Garden, easy parking, and a venue with space and good sound. It's a little modern and hokie, but very convenient and from our perspective pretty affordable. Thanks

Yelp
Came here for Marshmello show. First the show started at 9:30 but he did not come out till almost 1 am. NO WHERE DID IT SAY THE MAIN PERFORMER IS A 3 HOUR WAIT. Very disappointed in keeping the details left out. We do not smoke or drink which is fine but by 1 am most people are stupid drunk so that leaves for us to put up with STUPID. It says no vaping or smoking that was going on all over the place.

Yelp
I had a great concert experience at Big Night Live. We were allowed inside the venue and there was a pretty thorough bag and non invasive person check. I watched as people were searched and felt safe entering the venue. Safety is very important so I appreciated the staff's rigor and detail. When we entered the venue we went straight to the bar. I asked for a tequila sunrise but no specialty drinks were being made, they gave me a tequila and soda that I didn't love but that's ok. The drinks for the rest of the night were about the same, pretty subpar but we had them nonetheless. We ordered food from Guy's nearby restaurant. They allowed us to order takeout and they delivered it to the bar inside of Big Night Live. Very convenient. The staff were super nice and stern. They made sure we all remained safe and had a great time. The bathrooms are well stocked (deodorant spray, feminine products, etc) and were looked after diligently. The venue was so nice, big red walls and cute chandeliers, the box or VIP seats we paid extra for were totally worth it over general admission. Had a great time here despite the low rating! I'd definitely go back for a concert!

fine i guess. they have coat check which is nice. getting through the queue (wristband/X, scanning ticket, checking bag) is a little messy because youre doing it partially ON the stairs that lead you upstairs to where the venue is. the bar has a 1 drink limit per person, if you go up by yourself to order for your whole party, they wont let you, so its best to get your drinks as you walk in before you get your spot.

Yelp
Worst place for a dance show!! I been to Philly, Vegas, San Francisco, Red Rocks, juts to name a few comparisons and I must say Boston fans are the rudest and most inconsiderate people I've ever come across. I miss the Roxy days when everyone danced instead of moshing and standing around with their phones out. I'll definitely spend the extra money and travel to another city next time for sure. Tiesto show sucked with throw up on the dance floor, and Deadmau5 sucked with the amount of people just being walls with cameras and people just being bulls on the dance floor. Its too bad Boston fans don't know how to have a good time.

Yelp
Went to see Armin Van Buuren. Nowhere was it clear that he went on at 12:30 AM. Lots of people started lining up at 8:15 for a 9:00 show not realizing that doors opened at 9 but show started at 9:30. Some people only started realizing in line. I saw people trying to sell their tickets, while another couple just fled to do dinner and drinks somewhere else and go home. The opening-opening acts went until 11:30. So the band touring with Armin Van Buuren-- Avira, who was fantastic-- went on at 11:30 or 11:40something. I didn't dream that a show in North Station-- the second biggest train Station in Boston-- would finish after the last train leaves. I had demos the next day at work, so I left at 12:17AM so as not to miss the last train. I missed much of Avira and all of Armin Van Buuren. Nowhere on their site do they make times clear at all. I called them a week later and a person made excuses for how I theoretically could have found out. Read all the other reviews and try your best not to go here. Armin Van Buuren is returning to Boston in January. I could park walking distance from North Station and stay later. But I hope to never go back to this place if I can. I'm instead seriously looking at tickets in Montreal for the same Armin Van Buuren tour. The show there ends at 12:30AM, the same exact time he went on in Boston. And it starts at the much more normal time of 7:30. Not sure we can make a Montreal trip happen in January. Would rather go all the way to Montreal to see him at a normal event than go to this venue which is literally 4 miles from where I live.

Yelp
First time here for game 4 of the NBA finals 2022. It was pretty good overall. Security was quick and Efficient. Bathrooms were clean. Drinks were good. And overall it was an amazing atmosphere to watch a great game. Not too sure what the other events here are like but I had fun!

Yelp
went to Black Coffee 10/26/23; security was so abrasive and off-putting. I get it, y'all prob have to deal with folks who are inebriated and rude, but folks are also showing up to have a good time and decompress...not to be abused, demeaned and treated like crap. train your staff in humanizing practices. there is a better way to facilitate. such a gross energy in that space.

Yelp
This place was my first time EVER going to a club or concert of any kind. However, 5 mins after arriving, (which is around 100 a ticket) got thrown out. (Fine, I'm an understandable person who never really gets mad.) The thing is, I wasn't even able to get my phone from my friend, or my bag that i literally checked in 5 minutes earler. That night was freezing outside and windy. So I literally had no way to get home and had to wait outside. They didn't fking care, they just threatened to call the police. I'm not even a club person, but this right here ruined my club experience, forever. If I could rate lower, I would. I'm actually so angry. Ty for giving me and my friend a hard time on her birthday.

Yelp
We had reserved two large seating areas at Big Night Live, which cost us $3,500. Everything was going smoothly until around 1 am, when one of our friends had a bit too much to drink and was escorted out by the security staff. Two of our friends went to check on her and were informed by security that she couldn't re-enter the venue and needed someone to escort her home. When the rest of our sober friends were notified, they left the seating area to care for the inebriated friend. We weren't given any indication or warning that leaving the venue would prevent us from re-entry. In fact, we had witnessed our friends step out and come back earlier, leading us to believe re-entry was allowed. As we were discussing the situation outside, staff members rudely expelled us, shutting the doors on our faces, declaring that none of us could return. We tried explaining that the majority of us were sober and just concerned for our friend, but they dismissed us, treating us as if we were all intoxicated. We weren't even offered a chance to clarify; just bluntly told there was a "no re-entry" policy. This incident happened just a few minutes after the special guest DJ, whom we had paid to see, had started their set. I find this behavior not only an unethical business practice but fraudulent. During our attempts to communicate, a female staff member even mocked us from behind the glass door, making faces with clear intent to ridicule. As Asians, we felt singled out. Throughout the incident, they treated us as if we couldn't speak or understand English, blatantly refusing to engage in a conversation. I can't help but question if our treatment was influenced by racial bias. It's unfortunate that such a high-end venue would resort to such unprofessional behavior.

Yelp
They let too many people into the venue. It's fine, sound quality is fine, place seems clean, but someone made the decision to oversell tickets. We're packed in like sardines, dozens of people have no conceivable angle on the stage. The woman on my right is pushing me to move over, give her a little space, and there's no room.

Yelp
I'm not that hip. I think I might've been at some point, but those days are long gone. I used to get down in the pit at places like Big Night Live. I've certainly aggressively fist-pumped and knocked over some drinks or punched a boob on accident. I've definitely danced like I thought nobody was watching (but then i glance around and realize no ones watching my ridiculously bad dance moves), I've fought to the front row of an EDM show (along with 10 other Asians because we only travel in hordes) and I've gotten wildly drunk at inappropriate times.* Nowadays though, an exciting evening is when I go for a run by the Charles and I see a golden retriever change course to come get a head pat; good boy. But when I heard BNL was giving out free DVBBS tickets on a Thursday night, I muttered to myself, "you son of a *****, I'm in." Was this my redemption? Could it be that I still had what it took to "JUMP" when the DJ asked me to or was I a relic of who I used to be? The thought of being on the dance floor, packed like a can of sardines with aromas of sweat and spilled liquor emanating from teeny boppers gave me second thoughts as I drove my beamer to the show. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how roomy it was that night. Could be the fact that it was 20 degrees and all the Chads, Kevin Nguyens, and Beckys didn't make it past the pre-game. There was a second level (similar to The Grand), where you can observe the show (and s*** show) before you. I stood above the dirty, poor, plebes and had easy access to the bathroom for when I needed a rest from throwing up my X's, pyramids, triangles, or other gang signs. The view of the act on elevated stage is unobstructed and amazing. If you're anything like my old, tired ass, this is how you should go to concerts at Big Night Live. This is how we grownups still throw down. You know what grownups don't do, though? They don't go to Royale and throw our middle fingers in the air while sipping $15 watered down well drinks. So maybe I'm not a grownup just yet. ______________ *Actually, I still do that.

Yelp
This was my first experience at Big Night Live and I truly never want to go back again. The bands were great, the music was awesome. The venue was horrific. I require ADA seating and was told I was lying. I had email confirmation that we had 3 seats, then I was told I couldn't have three people with me even though two of us needed seating. This woman who directed me where to sit then looked me in the eye an hour later and told me she never said I could sit and that we weren't disabled. The place was so packed it was definitely a fire hazard. If you're disabled beware for sure. ADA did not have access to the bathroom either.

Yelp
Saw the Pixies here last night. Got in very "early", given the opening act started 45 minutes after the start time, got excellent standing room in the front GA section. Awesome show. Had to go to the bathroom half way through the main act (Pixies kicked ass, btw). Turned around to find the GA areas so packed that I was literally stepping on people's feet left and right to get through to the bar/bathroom area. Easier paths through largely empty VIP sections were blocked by security everywhere, whose one job was to keep the GA riff-raff separate from the VIPs. They had absolutely no concern for keeping pathways clear. Given my age, I wondered about fire safety as well as being personally very irritated. I decided I wouldn't even try to get back to my friend near the stage. I didn't feel like climbing over people again, and also figured I'd be asking for a fight if I bumped into or stepped in front of the wrong person. Not necessarily a rowdy crowd, just freaking DENSE. Watching the last of the show from the bar area, I was confounded to notice that they've built decorative structures that may as well be there to deliberately eliminate viewing areas. I was able to wander around the GA area in the back, which was less crowded, butI was really disappointed in the view from any available space back there. Didn't appreciate that I had to find the same bartender who opened my tab in order to close out. Didn't appreciate the bathroom attendant jockeying for tips (I'm at a rock show!). Didn't appreciate the elitist vibe I got from seeing so much of the space reserved for a few VIP ticket holders. I can afford the VIP tickets if I want to, but I prefer a close-up concert experience if I can get it. Loved both the opening and the main act. Awesome first half experience from the good location we scouted on arrival. But a man has to pee once in a while. Once I made the choice to do that, the rest of my night was crap.

Yelp
Saw Steve Aoki and DJ Costa on Saturday 1/8/22. This venue is easily accessible by taking the orange or green lines to North station. The line poured all the way down Causeway street but moved rapidly. The security was accommodating and the bartenders were awesome. This is a brilliant venue from BNEG and it's a much needed addition to the TD Garden Area. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I watch lots of bands in smaller venues in Boston. Big night has restricted views from large portions of the venue. I couldnt even get into the GA area as it was too full, and the remaining areas have limited or no view at all. I will avoid this venue in the future

Yelp
Space is small for any show with over 500 people, can't see stage unless your in pit, water was free which was cool but once you leave the pit you can't return? That's a wild concept to me if every ticket is GA, overall didn't enjoy my show, couldn't see the damn stage
