Update: probably staffing issue but I just tried to order for my office. One of the first things was 2 Vegan pizzas. (Cool option here) and the person asked what toppings? I asked for the Vegan one. He asked with pepperoni? Cheese?...this made me uncomfortable ordering this since I was making a point of the Vegan cheese etc. I will try again another day. Setting is nice. Many different shops and nice grounds for lunch, dinner. May be a spot I visit often during the summer. So many options but as a first visit I just grabbed the Greek and the pepperoni. (Not gonna lie, was tempted to grab the chicken parm sandwich and forget the office.) Office enjoyed them both and now I need to try the meatballs or chicken sandwich.

I love their fresh hot pizza 🍕! I just tried a plain pepperoni pizza it was bomb 💣 especially the crust! And I tried the Big Parm. The chicken parm pieces we’re delectably delicious 😋! I love this place so much I’m so glad I found it and it’s definitely worth the drive from downtown Huntington Beach 🏖! Oh and again great service once again! This place is top notch and their pizza is amazing!

Google
Waste of time with terrible customer service. First time I tried to order they were closed. They did not turn off their online ordering through Uber Eats though. It still let me place the order and told me my order was ready for pickup. When I arrive all the lights are off and the business next door said they were closed today. I decided to give them a 2nd chance and placed another order today through Uber Eats. The app told me my order was ready for pickup so I go inside to get my food. When I show them my order the staff told me that the order is not paid for so they could not make my food. Assuming there's a problem with the order I just tried to place it again. I walk back in and show them my 2nd order and they say the same thing, the 2nd order is also not paid for. They say they can't give me any food if I won't pay them. I don't have any options to pay in the Uber Eats app. You place your order and Uber Eats charges your card. They tell me they have been getting all these orders from Uber Eats for weeks that say not paid. Clearly there is a problem between Big Parm and Uber Eats and they need to resolve that. Anyone can see that. But these people will blame the customer for not paying even when they have been getting all these orders for weeks from Uber Eats. They would not think it's a problem with Uber Eats and instead blame the customer and treat them rudely. Don't waste your time with this place. They can't even understand when they have an obvious problem with a vendor.

I’m not sure if I should leave a review here or for DoorDash but: I ordered a pizza on DoorDash on a Thursday evening. The pickup time given to me was 6:42 PM. When I arrived at the Hangar at 6:42 PM, Big Parm was closed. The lights were off in the kiosk, the food prep areas behind the counter were cleaned/covered, and no employees were present. The closing time on Big Parm’s website and Google is 8 PM on Thursdays. I was still charged for the pizza. EDIT: I disputed the charge on my credit card. The dispute was denied as DoorDash claims the restaurant states my order was picked up. These people are THIEVES and LIARS.

Google
For a great NJ thin crust pie, this is the place to come. Their pies are legit. It took a little time for my pie because they make everything fresh. The pepperoni tasted like it came from a quality market. The sauce was very good, and you get plenty of cheese. Service was very good. The employee was friendly. Only bad thing was they don't have fountain drinks but no place in this food court does. For a great pie come to Big Parm.

Google
Ordered via DoorDash before 5pm on a Saturday. DoorDash driver got there and called to let us know they were closed. Their website says their hours are Tues-Sat 11am-8pm. If your own website is wrong, correct it.

Meat smelled and tasted bad. I thought it was one of the worse pizzas I’ve ever had. Reminded me of gas station 7 eleven pizza. I’d prefer a refund if management would give it to me.

Google
The staff at Big Parm were very welcoming and helpful in recommending a delicious yet serious pie. I ordered the Big Parm and was nothing but impressed. The pie itself was uniquely delicious and baked to perfection. I highly recommend Big Parm if you are looking for a quality and delicious pizza served by a staff who take pride in their craft. I know that I will be back!

Yelp
Great food lousy location!! There are many other places to pen a pie shop than here. Not enough foot traffic to support such a place.

Yelp
The BiG Parm located at the Mess Hall Market in Tustin. I ordered a small Diablo and a slice of the pepperoni. The slice of pepperoni was $2 and the small pizza was $13. I tasted the pepperoni first as I received this first and it was everything you could want in a pizza. I could just imagine how amazing this slice would be after a long night out. I then tried the Diablo and again - everything you could want in a pizza. I loved the combination of the pepperoncini, bell peppers, jalapeño with the salami and the cheese. It was everything. I do wish I ordered a large so the pieces would have been bigger and had more leftovers. Cannot wait to go back to this place next time I have a pizza craving.

Roselia G.

Yelp
Good pizza available in two sizes...small and large. It's the kinda that you need to eat with both hands and you can fold. We actually first ordered the Pizzarito, which was kinda like a pizza burrito, or calzone, but after waiting a while, they told us it didn't come out right and they made us pizzas instead. At no extra cost thankfully, but I really wanted to try the pizza burrito.

Yelp
Ordered online to pick up there and eat there on Friday night. Only took like 20 minutes for them to make our Garlic bites and Large Pepperoni Pizza. Altogether $30 including 20% tip, which unfortunately is a little high for what it was. The pizza overall is good if you want a thinly sliced and greasy pizza. I love crust and typically prefer not so thin slices, but their crust was pretty thick, light, airy, and delicious. The pizza needed to be cooked longer though, as the middle part of it was a little soggy. The garlic bites were unfortunately over cooked and burnt, but I think if they weren't it would've been better tasting. I think for their $2 slices it would be worth it, but $19 for a large pepperoni pizza when you can also do a build your own for $16.50? Strange. Mess hall wasn't too busy for a Friday night, so plenty of tables and some decent music playing. It'd be worth to come back and try, maybe we got an off night.

Clancey M.

Yelp
The pizza is amazing! Pumba makes the best homemade pizza sauce and meat balls. The service is great! The ambiance in general at the Mess is Livley and fun. I highly recommend the Big Parm :)

Cindy v.

Yelp
Yesterday I bought a large pizza and a small pizza it was so fluffy and delicious the sauce is so fresh. Me and my siblings finished the whole pizza we were so full afterwards . The cashier was nice and attentive to the questions we had on the menu .

Simon K.

Yelp
Pretty good pizza by the slice. It's very affordable too at only $2 per slice. Honestly I think they could be charging more like $3.50 or $3.99 per slice. The pizza slices look unassuming but are actually quite good. Don't let looks deceive you. Hey owner if you're reading this, I highly recommend you send marketing fliers to the neighboring apartment buildings. The Broadstone apartment complex even has food trucks showing up occasionally, so maybe you can negotiate with the building to let you set up a little tent and sell slices over there too occasionally.

Ritu R.

Yelp
Ive died and gone to heaven. Best pizza on earth !! The combination of flavor with a thin crust balances the taste. ALSO, ITS $1 PER SLICE.

R M.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing staff!!! Please come here and check them out. The Mess Hall is the place to be. Come visit Diana and Pumba! You heard me. They are awesome! Great customer service, very attentive and generous. This place is full of wonderful people.

Yelp
After 40 minutes my order was cancelled and received an email from Uber that there was an issue with the delivery and now the store is closed. Very sketchy establishment as I have never experienced this with any other store. Proceed with caution, and probably avoid at all costs!!

Yelp
The negative reviews here can be purplexing. They offer $1 slices and people do some serious mental gymnastics to find a way to complain. Yeah, it's not as good as real thin crusted NY pizza, but it's honestly not far from it either. I liked it. Located in Mess Hall, Big Parm offers the cheapest option to eat here, and is open even during the 2-5pm section where half of mess hall is closed, so it's always there. They do offer small and large pizzas in addition to their $1 slices, but since I've only tried the slices I can only give a description on that. Overall, the pizza was pretty good. Yeah, it was oily (at least the pepperoni was), but the dough was crunchy, cheese was oozing, and the sauce tasted great. For $1 in OC it was pretty good. even New York which I visited recently has started to do $2 minimum slices. It's smaller and probably comparable in size to half a costco pizza, but just a bit crunchier. I do wish that the outer crust was thinner though, but everything else was nice and thin. Overall, great spot for the budget and a quick bite.

Yelp
honestly can't remember when i had a worse slice of pizza and salad. the antipasto salad seemed old like it was premade and left for a night or two...and the mushrooms on top tasted fishy and were spoiled...they were abundant and touching a lot of the other stuff in the salad so we ended up literally spitting it out and throwing it away. the pizza was mushy and and also tasted like it had been sitting out for too long so disappointed...will never come back here

Rudy M.

Yelp
For Pi Day, we heard about their deal and went for two pizzas made by this company. They use really fresh ingredients and stretch out the dough by hand. We got a greek style pizza and another with pepperoni and mushroom. As a side pairing, we tried their garlic knots and buffalo wings. They were very unique as the wings had the smallest bones inside them. the knots had a very nice seasoning on them and had a spicy finish to them. It was a great experience to a pizza co, I never heard of till that day. Give it a try and check out the space it's in. Places like that are becoming popular these days.

Will H.

Yelp
Ordered several pizzas and garlic knots, ate in for a family gathering. Food was great. The place is a little hard to find. The whole food court closes down early on Mondays, not recommended for a Monday lunch, as everyone is trying to bail and close early.

Daphne L.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! $1 slices every day and the pizza is NY style! Not bad! It's not the best but not the worst pizza- it's just right and for $1, you can't complain! I highly recommend! The guys who work here are awesome and super friendly. There's always plenty of seating indoors and outdoors and this area is just so modern and cool- it's totally worth a visit. I highly highly highly recommend!!!

Angela C.

Yelp
Big Parm is a NY style pizza place located inside the new Mess Hall Market. You can buy their pizza by the slice ($3.50), as a 10" individual pie ($11 + $0.50 per topping), or 18" family pie for sharing ($24 + $0.75 per topping). Tried a slice of their pepperoni pizza, and it's not great NY style pizza. It's too doughy/bready and there isn't enough cheese and pepperoni. Was hoping for some great NY style pizza in the area, but this was not it.

Winny H.

Yelp
Visited big parm this weekend and ordered a slice of pizza. It was only a dollar per slice which is a pretty good deal. However when I receive my slice of pizza it was rather small and I was still hungry afterwards. I had to say the pepperoni and cheese on my slice of pizza was actually very delicious. The crust is very nice and thin very similar to New York style pizza. I will definitely come back again and try out the other flavors.

Yelp
No joke. Large pizza for $16!!! Literally the best crust I've ever had. New York style. Very thin, crispy yet strong and chewy. Excellent fresh tomato sauce with a nice bite of cheese. Highly recommend. Had the number one. They have this sauce to add that's like a sweet and sour chili. Great food and I wasn't even hungry so you know I really mean it.

Yelp
Overall our experience today was five stars. We were greeted at the register by Levi and he was very welcoming. We ordered meatballs, baked hot wings, garlic pizza bones, chicken parm sandwich, and the pastrami pie. The wait was no longer than any other place. Now, to the food. The baked hot wings we all gave a 10. Nice heat but the best part was the cook. The meat just fell of the bone. The meatballs were absolutely delicious. Just the perfect texture and flavor. The sauce they were served in had good flavor and the cheese on top was a nice touch. Another solid 10. The garlic pizza bones we gave a 4. The didn't have much of a garlic taste and the sauce on the side was too thin, almost watery. It just slid off when you dunked them. We also thought they should be larger. The chicken parm sandwich we gave an 8. The chicken was chicken. The breading on the other hand was perfect. Not too heavy on the coating. The sauce again had great flavor. Nice and cheesy. The only downside was that the bread was too soggy. Not too sure if they put the sauce on top or it got there when it was wrapped up but in the short amount of time it took us to eat it, it was just too soft. Now to the pizza. A score of 6. The crust was spot on. Nice thickness and held up nicely to the cheese and sauce during the cook. The pastrami was not evenly distributed and really didn't have that much seeing that it was the only protein. We thought the sauce could also have been heartier. The thousand island didn't do it for us. Not to mention the large amount served on the top. We usually get our pastrami pizza elsewhere with mustard and pickles. Unfortunately they don't offer either as an option here. The quality and service was a solid five stars and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
OMG! YUM! The most "authentic" Italian pizza I've gotten in So-Cal this year. Big chunks of lobster on the pizza, nice big chunks of roasted garlic on the garlic "bones." The dough was amazing. The sauces were good. The lobster was a bit "fishy" tasting, and they didn't provide sauces. Luckily I ordered sauces on the side, but if I hadn't, then I could have received 2 Caesar salads without dressing, and garlic bones without pizza sauce. So MAKE SURE you order the dressings and sauces you need with your order. Amazing deal because there was a "buy one get one free" offer on everything but the pizza I ordered through Uber Eats. Glad the kids are gone for the weekend so I can pig out more later tonight! LASTLY: The lobster pizza menu stated that the pizza came with drawn butter... maybe it was poured on top. If so, it wasn't noticeable.. HOWEVER if it had come with a side of drawn butter... this would have been a 5 star review!!

Josh Z.

Yelp
First time ordering here. Was so disappointed with the Chicken Parm and Garlic Pizza Bones. Sandwich tasted, cold and stale. Reminded me of cafeteria food. Round circular frozen patty . One bite and it was headed for the trash. Didn't look at all like previous posters photos. Same goes with the "Garlic Bones". Came cold, tiny garlic balls not even knots like previous photos, no dipping sauce either. Pepperoni pizza was ok but cold as well.

Y S.

Yelp
Kids liked their cheese slices. I was bummed they stopped carrying the vegan pizza :(

Jesse K.

Yelp
This place WAS super solid for many months. I've been going here 3 times a week for about 5 months now, and they randomly changed there whole staff. Now they are awful. The pizza def taste different. They don't take cash anymore. And they don't give you ranch I was there asked two time and the lady just straight up didn't give me any. The big guy behind the counter is about unfriendly as they come. Super unfortunate because I really liked this place and now I won't be coming back. Hopefully they get more friendly staff and actually pay attention to there customers needs.

Jerry W.

Yelp
Solid pizza joint located inside the Mess Hall over at the Flight at Tustin Legacy. I've had the slices for lunch and my son ordered the margherita pizza for dinner in our latest visit. Good stuff!

Liv W.

Yelp
Light and chewy NY style crust, crispy along the edges. Super fresh ingredients. I ordered half and half lobster and Fred's Pie. Both incredibly tasty! Can't wait to try the rest! There's a $1 / slice special right now - Go, now!

Joanna J.

Yelp
I honestly love their pizza. We order it for delivery and just pop it in the air fryer to char it up a bit when it gets here. Its just SUPER thin crust and just bomb AF.

Katie B.

Yelp
The pizza is thin and greasy. The crust is solid and the pizza doesn't curl over when held. 8/10

Anthony H.

Yelp
The pizza here is as close to NJ as it gets around here. Delicious and filling and doesn't break the bank.

Koosha H.

Yelp
Half the fucking menu is pizza but when I try to order one I'm told they're not doing pizza today. Dumb as fuck.

Matt H.

Yelp
Funny, this has to be the 2nd or 3rd time I am writing a review of Big Parm as the Yelp page has migrated. I was actually the 1st review, and even added one of the business pages. Not only that I was their literal 1st customer. I had to bum a $1 bill from my friend to leave as part of the tip because you can't frame a credit card reciept. In a word, the pizza legit. The high heat oven really does a great job in searing in a nice crust while getting the toppings and cheese well integrated. They have a make-your-own pizza option, or you can go by the slice. A solid pie no matter how you slice it.

Andy L.

Yelp
Barely anything else in this food hall is open late, so decided to give this place a second chance. $1 slices... Wasn't expecting papa John's or hell even digiornos frozen pizza so it's safe to say expectations were slim to begin with. But I was hungry so f*CK it. Can someone please tell me why the $1 slices taste like they were dipped in pool water? My friend thought the same exact thing. If I wanted to taste chlorine, I would've jumped into my pool head first mouth open, not come here I used to believe in second chances too

Marco R.

Yelp
Wow this place has gone down hill, ordred ahaead like i usally do. When i arrievd not a single notice to let me know thay they had almost doubled the price of their slice pizza. Honwstly nevwr going back.

K S.

Yelp
Really good food and decent prices. Always part of my regular rotation. Highly recommend.

Jason I.

Yelp
Pepperoni pie was nauseatingly salty. Beyond greasy. Grease fully soaked the crust. Never seen grease on a pie like that before. Its as if the crust was frying in that grease. Crust probably decent if it werent for that. Id anticipate a better pie absent of pepperoni so for that I give a two.

Jen G.

Yelp
Delicious pies! Their points/loyalty system is also a big plus. Get rewarded for giving your business to a company with a delicious product and great staff to help at the counter! Thank you and I'll be back for sure :)

Ma L.

Yelp
The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. The service was good; the workers were quick and gave me extra condiments. I found it difficult to figure out where to park because it is in what looks like an office complex with tickets for parking, but I ended up not needing those.

Danica D.

Yelp
I appreciate a business that sells pizza by the slice. I found a local spot with Big Parm who offers this at such an affordable price of $1 per slice! I stumbled upon this spot after coming to the Mess Hall for a sandwich craving. I saw the sign and immediately ordered a couple as an appetizer. Intended to replicate a NY style pizza, though not even close, it gets the job done. Thin, crispy crust, tart sauce and decent cheese pull. They have a variety of pies you can order, some unique and some traditional. I can't say much about anything other than the $1 slice pepperoni pizza, but I do plan on coming back and trying their whole pies.

doug l.

Yelp
Website says they are open until 8pm. They will accept online orders even when closed.

Milad S.

Yelp
I tried their lobster pizza. I wish they didn't use their dilute/thin marinara sauce because the finish was an undercooked watery dough and the cheese don't stay on the dough. Also, the chunk of losbters were tasteless.

Guillermo B.

Yelp
Your multiple social platforms have conflicting info on when you are open. Your online ordering will allow to order with no one there to make it. Order was placed around 6, a email confirmation was given that the pick up order was recieved and to pick up the pies by 7. You suck and you took my money happily. I now need to report this trasaction as fraud.

Ecsn C.

Yelp
This pizza is super tasty and priced well. Very fresh and love the cheese flavor blend. The pepperoni is higher quality than what I am used to - I'm guessing it's an actual cured Italian style because it it seems like they use benchmark ingredients for everything. Cooked in a real pizza oven and fast service. The owner was "giving away" free slices which is very uncommon and generous...thank you! Clean and friendly and to the point! Trying to make this part of my regular Tustin area lunch stop. Great job.

Yunnie L.

Yelp
Absolutely wasted my time. Saw the promotion via Facebook. They open at 11am. It is 11:19am. There is not pizza being made. I stood in front of the counter for at least 5-10 mins and I couldn't even find a person. He/ she is nowhere to be found. There is no bell or anything I can ring to cause the attention. Sorry. I won't come back even there is a promo. Solely wasting time.

Cristina I.

Yelp
Very poor management. Rude when placing an order and not very polite . Takes for ever to get an office party pack . Food is good but not very nice people. Only reason I go is for the pizza that has a good flavor .they also don't have food in stock .

Frank P.

Yelp

Joshua C.

Yelp
This pizza has zero flavor The gentlemen handling the food wasn't wearing gloves and the crust was burnt I highly suggest going anywhere but this

Felipe P.

Yelp
This might be possibly be the worst pizza I've had in 4 years living in Orange County. The dough was too chewy like chewing bubble gum, the pizza itself was almost tasteless. What made it worse, was we ordered an 18" pie, got charged for an 18" pie, and the guy at the counter tonight lied to my face and told me they didn't make 18", only 16". This despite the box and pizza dish clearly not matching the size of the pizza he made us. I like to support small, emerging businesses as often as possible, but please don't be a snake. Many other better options at Mess Hall. Sadly don't see how this pizza place intends to survive.

Chris B.

Yelp
The pizza was exceptional brilliant, I had a pepperoni, sausage and salami sexified large pizza, I fell in love at first bite also Davis Lindsey gave fantastic service and a perfectly cooked pie
