A really nice walk especially at sunset. You have a wonderul view of the city and it is fun to say that you walked to Arkansas. It can be quite chilly with the wind but it's worth it!

Good hiking spot. The interesting part is the crossing or state line between TN and AR states. Constructed over magnificent Mississippi River, a family-friendly hiking place. The area is marked for development projects by 2026. I hope they continue to build, improve, and make it a more inviting place. There are picnic tables and electric bikes for rent on the AR side of the state line. This bridge walk is fun, and the area itself is well maintained. However, lack of restrooms and slow development work makes the place less inviting.

The Big River Crossing bridge is a straight shoot great for running, walking and biking with a view of the Mississippi River and breezy draft.

Very nice trail that is well-maintained and offers great views of Memphis and the Mississippi River. Security cameras all over the bridge and typically a lot of foot and bike traffic so I’ve never felt uncomfortable there. However, like any city, be aware of your surroundings.

We were recommended this brief walk by some friends. If you visit Memphis you need to see the Mississippi 'shining like a national guitar' and step into Arkansas. We were incredibly lucky to get our timing perfect by meeting up with a once a year walking tour to see the harvest moon rise above the Mississippi. It was a real highlight of our holiday to meet local Memphians and learn all about Memphis from the locals. We were very lucky Instead of spending 30 minutes on the walk we took 2 hours!! I really recommend making the time to do this walk across the Mississippi. You will need a car but it's a short 6-8 min drive from downtown Memphis

Big River Park was amazing. We enjoyed a pleasant prayer walk over the bridge, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. One of the coolest aspects is that part of the park is in Memphis, while the other part is in Arkansas. It's a unique and enjoyable experience that I highly recommend.

Nice walk across the mighty Mississippi with plenty of room to bring your dog or for biking. There is an overlook spot about halfway marking the Tennessee Arkansas state line. This is nice photo spot with the downtown Memphis skyline and river in the background.
