I’ve had soft serve around the world and this place is subpar. Prices are a bit high, but the quality is just not there. The vanilla lacks a vanilla flavor, it’s more watery base soft serve and not very creamy. The worst part is the chocolate “hard shell” I paid almost $2 for. It’s fudge topping out of a squeeze tube and does not actually turn into a crunchy chocolate hard shell. A LEGIT soft serve place dips in chocolate. If you want actually good soft serve, go to the OG Zesto or Andy’s OTP. The only thing this place has going for it is location.

I’m so glad they’ve opened more locations! The menu is limited compared to the main shop, but there are still options. I got the matcha and oat milk vanilla swirl, it was delicious! I also got sprinkles which were great and added a lot to the soft serve.

Line goes fast, don’t worry if you see a long one. $5 for a petite cup. $1 for every topping and $1.50 for every specialty topping. Prices are fair. Love that they have vegan and non-dairy options. I got the matcha with sprinkles and cornflake streusel. They are generous with the toppings which is always a plus! Outdoor seating is plentiful.

So excited to have a Big Softie location open just off the Beltline in Old Fourth Ward! It’s just a small little walk-up window but with all the goodness of the other locations. A little pricey but I love the soft serve and all their fun toppings!

I love ice cream, so it’s no surprise I had to try this place when it opened. I got the vanilla in a waffle cone with the cornflakes streusel on top. Cornflakes and the waffle cone were delicious! The waffle cone was softer than most I’ve had so I didn’t feel like I was going to break a tooth on it - and ice cream didn’t leak out the bottom! I had to rate it four stars because the ice cream was not my favorite. The flavor was a little muted, and I am somebody who likes very sweet flavorful ice cream!

Went here with my sister after seeing it on TikTok. I feel like $11.57 is a bit much for an ice cream cone with chocolate, but the real kicker is that they don’t disclose a 4% fee for employee health insurance. It’s crazy that these kinds of costs are being passed on to consumers. If you’re charging $11.57 for ice cream, you definitely have the margins to cover your employees’ health insurance. Wild times.
