This is a hypocritical place supposedly Christian owned and run, but they are judgmental and has lost my business and hopefully the business of others. I should have started this review explaining why, but now that my opinion is set in stone I can move to the why. My family and I have shopped here for years, occasionally just to get something we have forgot to grab at Walmart or IGA. My daughter is needing a job to help with the financial burden around our house. I thought since it was close to home and every time I'm in there the employees are mainly students this would be ideal. She applied and got a call to come in for an interview. She was excited until getting there and the manager degrading her for an eyebrow piercing telling her that he wanted it taken out before she could get the job. Well being her father and knowing times have changed and tattoo and piercings are things people have and except as a new generation takes hold this has upset me. Not only for the fact that she wasn't able to accept the job but to know I myself have an eyebrow piercing, earrings and tattoos and have been in there so many times and never been refused service or the ability to shop. Now that I know they employ discriminating managers I refuse to spend my money there, and hope all who read this and have tattoos, piercings or different in any way follow me in boycotting big star for discrimination. I also hope that this brings attention to the owners of the store that discrimination is illegal and I will do everything I can to bring this to the attention of the public. We are the many being discriminated by the few. Please stand and be noticed. Like this post and we can bring places like this down. Brian Woodall
