Nestled in a cozy cabin-like space, this hip bar dazzles with inventive cocktails, great decor, and an inviting vibe perfect for dates and chill nights.
"Even when it’s 85 degrees out, sometimes you just need to pretend you’re drinking in a ski lodge in Canada for the night. That’s when we go to Bigfoot West. This long-running spot on Venice Blvd. (the Westside offshoot of Atwater Village’s Bigfoot Lodge) fully commits to its woodsy aesthetic, but not in a way that feels like Splash Mountain. The crowd is low-key, there’s a daily Happy Hour from 5-8pm, and they make a solid peanut butter whiskey cocktail topped with a burnt marshmallow. " - nikko duren
"Great hang out place with a very cozy western themed cabin like interior. They have a really good array of drinks. The patio has seating so you can enjoy your drinks outdoor and chill with friends." - Julian Gallardo Design
"Even if it’s 85 degrees outside, sometimes you just need to pretend you’re in a ski lodge in Canada for the night. Go to Bigfoot Lodge West. Located on Venice Blvd. in Culver City, Bigfoot Lodge has an aggressive woodsy aesthetic, but not in the way that’ll make you feel like you’re on Splash Mountain. The crowd is local and low-key, there’s usually live music of some sort, and there’s a daily Happy Hour that goes from 5-9pm." - brant cox
"LA doesn’t have much of a winter, but you can pretend it does at Bigfoot Lodge. Sure, its northern lodge aesthetic is aggressive, but for some reason (probably alcohol), it doesn’t feel cheesy. The crowd is mostly from the neighborhood and is always down to get a little rowdy, the drinks are strong, and there’s usually some sort of live music happening. Don’t worry, it’s still 70 degrees outside." - brant cox
"Big Foot West, Palms. Great hang out place with a very cozy western themed cabin like interior. They have a really good array of drinks. The patio has seating so you can enjoy your drinks outdoor and chill with friends."
