Restaurant Bij Erik

Parking is not available for the restaurant, you have to park in the surrounding area. The restaurant looks modern and nice inside. Staff was friendly and made some contact. They were a bit busy and that let down the really personal highly attentive experience that one expects from a restaurant with a bib gourmand recommendation. We started with a drink and some roasted nuts; small portion for € 5,50. Like table water I don’t know if charging for something simple suits the place. The food was oké. We had the five course surprise menu with one of the signature dishes (pork belly). You only get one amuse dish. Courses were pretty small. They tasted nice but did not have a lot of different flavors in one dish. One main flavor mostly dominated the palet. They offer an extensive wine list, also wine pairing. We paid a bit over € 150 per person.

Had a fabulous meal and experience at Bij Erik. Our waiter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He tried to pick up on likes and offer wine pairings that were in our liking. The food was delicious, and beautifully presented. I also likes that they were transparent about costs. It was a cozy night in a nice environment with succulent food.

We liked it all, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the location and the crème brûlée was divine! We will definitely be coming back to taste more dishes. Relaticely reasonable pricing for the quality of the food.

Food was good, nothing impressive. Service was very attentive yet the waiter dropped out bottle of wine and spilled at leas a full glass. They never apologised or replaced, they thought we did not see it. This speaks very poorly of their hospitality.

Very nice food, creative and seasonal. Very good value for money. The service is attentive and fast. Each time we go there it is a very nice experience.

What a lovely place! Excellent food, great service and a good location.

Very solid dishes that lean toward classical french. Think rouleau, quenelle lyonnaise, tarte tartin, that type of dishes. Technically well executed and well balanced.
