Yes to a tiny bathroom. Ok music. Busy... Friendly service Free parking across the street.

We are from Albuquerque, New Mexico, several hundred miles from Boston, and chose this place on a whim. The photos of the food drew us in but the taste had us falling in love. There is nothing like this in Albuquerque, so we were super happy not only to be served such flavorful food, but to have such knowledgeable staff that gave us culturally typical recommendations. As this was the first place we went to eat our first day in Boston, it has made a lasting memory for us so much so that we had to come back in the morning for coffee, which was equally delicious. I don't think I could recommend this place more, on price, on food, on staff, on atmosphere. Truly a wonderful experience and I'll be singing their praises for as long as I'm able.

So happy to find a local spot that makes good matcha lattes!! The color is soo vibrant. The smallest size is 20oz, and even after milk substitution and adding flavor shots, it is reasonably priced. Both the strawberry and blueberry flavors are good! Sweet but doesnt overpower the matcha. Great atmosphere and staff is very kind 😊

What a lovely experience. Super welcoming and friendly staff. Absolutely delicious drinks and acai bowls. Free parking less than a block down the street. If you're looking for a chill breakfast spot, look no further.

One of my new favorite nooks in the Malden area! Stopped here to journal before hiking in the Fells :) I love the concept and theme around European style pastries and the charming vibe. I do not take their beautiful glass coffee mugs for granted! Also, breakfast sandwiches (we got The Works) are as delicious as their coffee quotes 💯😁

I ordered a simple egg bacon and cheese on a roll and a dirty Chai latte and both were great. The roll perfectly crisper, not too crisp and just soft enough, bacon we perfectly crispy but not like bacon bits level crisp. The chai latte was not overly sweet and just right for me. The staff were very nice, even when I had to have one of them repeat her queation 3 times because I couldn't hear her. They are also dog friendly! So they let me wait inside with my dog.

Best caffe in Malden!!!! Love to get a coffee and a bikeeny, and the staff is always so kind and welcoming. The vibes inside are great and it is a very clean place!

The pastries were yummy. We tried feta-dill and jalapeño poppers bikeenys and enjoyed both. Great texture, crispy exterior with a soft and creamy flavorful filling. The coffee was pretty good for the price, solid brew for a good value. No complaints here. The breakfast sandwich didn't quite land; it could use some work. They advertise selling dinner in the evenings and the pictures of the offerings looked delicious!

We love coming to this spot for breakfast! Their bikeeny pastries are delicious. We particularly like the feta and dill one. Their breakfast sandwiches are hearty without being too heavy. I got the garlic dill sunrise which has a half boiled egg, bacon, and their garlic dill spread on a roll. The açaí bowls are great too! The base is a scooped açaí mix which I usually find too hard/cold but if you leave it to melt for a bit it becomes a nice smoothie consistency. They're generous with the amount of granola, fruit and peanut butter! Would recommend for a refreshing snack. The person who helped us was also very kind! She offered to help fix our table and even gave us a cabbage roll on the house because we inquired about their BingeBowls which are served 4-9pm. The cabbage roll kind of tasted like Italian sausage wedding soup in a cabbage roll. I'd definitely get it and still want to try their bowls. The seating area is comfortable with a few small tables, one larger table that seats 6, and two window counters. There's free WiFi so we often see people working in here too!

One of my favorite cafes in Malden! The staff is super friendly and they make amazing coffee. I love stopping by to get one of their delicious specialty lattes and the bikeeny pastries on weekend mornings. There's some seating inside as well if you want to sit down for a bit too!

I discovered this spot right when they opened a few years ago and have been coming ever since and never been disappointed. Their coffee selections are creative and feel like the perfect treat for your day. Despite having tried multiple flavors, the Mars is still my favorite. Their bikeeny treats are ever changing though my go to is still Nutella and one of the more savory ones. Recently I tried their pesto caprese sandwich and it was the perfect size for an afternoon lunch. While simply made, the sandwich packed flavor and care/attention to making it that hit all the right spots. During my frequent visits I've talked to many members of the staff and they have all been super friendly. They never rush you to order and are attentive with any questions. Once my name was pronounced incorrectly by a staff member and another one corrected her on her own. Though I wouldn't have said anything, it's the small attention to detail and customer service that has me always feeling welcomed and excited when I can stop in. I have countless stories of such customer care stories that I could share. Considering the friendly staff, creative coffee, and good food, it's easy to see why this place is so loved.

How can I give this place 10 stars? Coffee - delicious! Food - delicious! Staff - incredibly kind! And they are dog friendly!! But the absolute best part is that they are so careful with food allergies. We have gluten and dairy sensitivities and they are so good about them! 10 stars

Do you want some of the yummiest little pastry things in Malden? What about a latte so big you can barely hold the cup with one hand? Bikeeny's got you. Ok I think I've had all their or most of the flavors by now!! Nutella-9/10, only bc there is a slight chance I'm a little allergic to hazelnut but not enough to stop me (I also get hazelnut lattes so idk man but it's worth it) Jalapeño popper/cheddar: 1586/10 Asiago chili: 10/10 Feta dill: 8/10 Hazelnut iced latte: 100/10 The earlier you go the better to make sure they have all the flavors and don't sell out!! Cute inside and people sit and do work! Very lovely spot. It is expensive so not an everyday treat but I love it so much.

Everything was delicious! I had a group of 12 and ordered breakfast sandwiches and 2 large containers of coffee. My order was ready for pickup when they said it would be and everything was delicious! We will be back!

Bikeeny Caffe is an excellent place to head for if you want to grab some food and/or are looking for a place to park for a while and get some work done. Their coffees are great, and the cold brew has found a warm spot in my heart ;-) Tip: The venue is situated very close to the Malden train station The staffers are welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is cool.

Food: Tried the bikeenies here which they are known for (puff pastry stuffed with savory or sweet fillings) and they were delicious! The bikeenies were around $2 each and my personal favorites here were their jalapeño cream cheese and the feta dill stuffed bikeenies. Buttery/flaky/savory goodness in every bite! They make their own puff pastry from scratch and each batch of bikeenies takes around 2 days to make. Parking: There is usually plenty of street parking in front of the cafe if you come here in the mornings. Go give this local small business a try!

Found this cute lil coffee spot last wk, was just driving by and saw a line out the door. Decided to check it out..... Drove by 3 Starbucks on my way from Peabody today, very friendly staff and clean too !!!

Cute little coffee shop with really kind staff! I got the vanilla caramel cappuccino and the espresso was very tasty. A great, affordable alternative to Dunkin'. The owner was pleased that I brought a reusable cup so grab yours and get some good coffee!

Yea i definitely was gonna gatekeep this one but the staff there are so nice, they definitely deserve more recognition so here we are. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for (loaded up with bacon/ham & boiled eggs + cheese & your choice of sauces) like hello??? Yes please. The acai smoothie is acai-ing, always refreshing. Ooh child let's not mention the bikeenies, the nutella ones are what I want to be buried with tbh (sorry no pics). We love you Bikeeny

This is a cute place in Malden, well worth a stop for sure. It's a shame they close early in the afternoon so I can't come here often outside of my work schedule. Their bikeenies are good and reasonably priced. I personally prefer the more savory ones. The Asiago chili and feta dill were delicious. I was worried they wouldn't be fresh, but the flaky pastry was still good. Coffee was fine. They also had some strawberry chocolate mousse desserts in the refrigerated display case for less than $5. I bought one and it was yummy, although I could've done without the nuts (almonds?) around the base.

The food is always tasty, fresh and homemade- you can't go wrong. Great prices, out of this world taste! Staff is so nice too- they're love is what makes this food so delicious!

A great local cafe with friendly staff, Bikeeny is a Malden staple. It's a small but very cozy environment. The breakfast sandwiches are very interesting but still tasty - they used soft boiled eggs rather than a fried egg. The bikeeny pastries were very good and perfect bite sized morning items to pair with your coffee.

A little pricey overall, but they have cute little pastries! Lots of different options for flavors, and they have seasonal flavors too!

One of the best breakfast sandwiches ever, seriously. Coffee was delicious, iced London Fog (my favorite!), and 2 cinnamon bikeenies were fantastic, but the star of the meal? Definitely the egg & cheese sandwich on a roll, with cheddar. I'd absolutely eat here for breakfast when I'm in the area. The texture of the egg was so perfect, and tastes way better than it looks!

Cute little café very friendly Service and reasonable prices. They even have a few tables so people can go in and use their laptop and enjoy a light breakfast or lunch.

Bikeeny Caffe is my favorite place to go for coffee and pastries. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The food and drink are always very good. I have been going to for years and not once have I been disappointed. The place has a very warm cozy vibe.

Live nearby and tried to give this place some chances but honestly don't think the food here is that good here. The breakfast sandwiches are not worth it, Workers are nice but that's about it.

My husband and I were looking for some real coffee as the coffee at our hotel is awful. This place made me moan with how delicious the coffee was. Not to mention the Pesto Caprese. The pesto is definitely made fresh here, and the flavors!! I got the caramel latte with almond milk (hot). I highly recommend this place if you understand that coffee is what hopes and dreams are made of!

Although this place prob won't help you prep for bikini season, Bikeeny Caffe is a tasty, unique cafe near Malden Center! The small, European bikeeny pastries are what you need to get (are you surprised?). Loved the savory feta dill one, and the Nutella one was an obvious winner, with lots of sweet, creamy hazelnut spread within the minute pastry. The cinnamon bikeeny wasn't as satisfying as the other two since it didn't have a filling but rather a swirl of cinnamon, which meant it was pretty dry. Improved with a dip in your coffee though! And speaking of coffee, Bikeeny offers a variety of "craft" lattes and other drinks. I tried the "mounds of joy" latte which I'm guessing is their riff on an almond-coconut concoction. Not sure if those were the exact flavors I was tasting, but it was yummy nonetheless! Partner got an iced chai that was spot on. In addition to the bikeenies, we also got a pesto caprese panini, that arrived about 10-15 minutes after ordering, and was fresh and satisfyingly filling. We came in around noon on a Saturday, and it was packed! There were some people who were sitting with their laptops (one man was unnecessarily taking up a table and seats for 2), so I would suggest that they implement a rule saying no laptops during peak times in order to allow seating for customers who will be dining in. Fortunately, we were able to snag seats after awkwardly standing around for a while, but I think this customer experience could be improved. If I find myself in Malden again, I'd definitely return to Bikeeny Caffe to get more of those yummy lil pastries paired with some great, affordable coffee!

Really love this gem in Malden, though lately I've noticed the quality changing. Especially if you do takeout, the pastries are a bit stale and stuffed into tiny bags instead of boxes, the hash browns are undercooked and oily, and the coffee (whether it's iced or hot) is the wrong temperature. When it's good, it's amazing. I hope this isn't the new normal and they're having a rough patch. I want to continue supporting a small business that has a special place in our community.

I like how Bikeeny is tucked away in an area that I would never pass by if I wasn't craving coffee. It's quiet & it has quirky quotes on the walls. Looking at the menu, I thought their lattes were already different than your typical coffee shop. Good thing I don't like simple! They had different combo flavored lattes such as chocolate + caramel, chocolate + coconut, banana + caramel. I ordered the Elon's Latte which is chocolate & caramel I believe. I didn't really taste the caramel but the chocolate is there. Not bad for the price with the large size. If I make my trip back, I would def go for the banana + caramel latte. Warning! you're stuck with a large if you order an iced latte/coffee.

My husband found a new best hot chocolate in Boston! It was rich and delicious. My cappucino was solid, nothing special. We did not try the food but it looked delicious. It was not very crowded but it did take a while to get our drinks, though that level of hot chocolate is worth the wait!

Service was quick and the smoothies are a dream. I had the ham, cheese, and egg sandwich and a peanut butter smoothie which I devoured. I didn't even know I liked soft boiled eggs until I tried them here. 10/10

BATMAN ISOLATED IN SALT LAND We walked into the Bikeeny Caffe with a beacon of hope for our hungry stomachs. It was a bustling atmosphere, the vibes were good but it felt like we were standing on top of the customers. We ordered a latte, bacon egg and cheese, and an egg and cheese, excited for the food entering our tummy. When it came to consuming, the coffee was decent & milky. The sandwiches consisted of a soft boiled egg, salty Swiss cheese that was sweating & limp, a Krabby patty bun, and bacon fro across the border. My Batman and I are not huge fans of soft boiled eggs in our sandwiches, especially when they run faster than we ever could catch. We found ourselves consistently in the midst of salt and pepper pockets in our sandwiches. Strange indeed. We however loved the hipster animal poster, it was a blast from the past that reminded us of our roots.

Small cafe with BIG flavor! Came in for a coffee and a bite for breakfast. The coffee was delicious (and they offer it in a mugggg)! I will now only go to places that offer a mug so you can sit and enjoy your coffee, taking your time. The walnut pastry was a delicious little surprise. And the egg sandwich? Simple, yet absolutely delicious!! I WILL be back to this gem!

Moved here less than a week ago and have been here maybe 5 times.... The banana caramel iced latte is what has me returning! Highly recommend this cute local cafe! They additionally serve fantastic paninis! This place has five stars for a reason!

Stopped in for breakfast and coffee this morning. Nothing complicated, just a large drip and a ham & cheese sandwich. Easy! Coffee was hot and fresh. Good rich flavor. A touch of cream and ready to go. Sandwich was large with two fried eggs and a big piece of ham and melty cheese. Delicious and slightly messy. Ideal. There are power outlets and it's possible to do work here but they do have music and it's perhaps a little loud if you're thinking of making a phone call.

Excellent coffee! I love the soft-boiled egg in the breakfast sandwich, but would like more of a choice of breads (like seeded rye, for instance). Woman at the register was unsmiling, no eye-contact and all business, two days in a row when I was there. Too bad - a friendly server would have made this a 5-star review. Update: Just seeing the owner's response - very classy! Thank you for the thoughtful reply - I'm even more impressed now!

Excellent coffee, made exactly as requested (and I'm picky). Wonderful staff, cozy atmosphere. And the profiteroles and bikeeny pastries (my favorite is Nutella) are first class. I'm incredibly lucky that this place is a short walk away from my home.

Perfect place to hop in for a bite. Bikeeny are mini stuffed pastries for $1.75. Feta dill bikeeny - 5/5. Savory, cheesy, wonderful balance. Perfect bite. Nutella bikeeny - 4.5/5. Tasty and simple. Like a small Nutella crepe. Hazelnut latte - 3/5. Sweet, solid.

The coffee was good! Not good enough to be $7 for a small cold-brew with flavor. Most cafe's do not charge 50 cents PER pump of cheap, store-bought coffee flavor. That's a bit ridiculous, but sure let's go with it. Barista was also unfriendly and unhelpful when it came to my questions about their coffee. Wouldn't return here

I LOVE Bikeeny cafe. I am always sneaking out of the office to grab coffee and food here as it's just down the road. Staff are ALWAYS nice, and food and drink are consistent. There has not been a time I have been dissatisfied. Highly recommend. My favorite is a coco banana latte. The Bikeeny's are a delightful little treat too. Don't miss out and come here!! OH and to the haters-maybe high quality coffee and food just isn't for you!! Try dunks or honey dew. Sounds more low end for you!

I'm always compelled to try new places that have 5 star reviews. The early stages of restaurant and cafe openings are certainly trying times and to see that an establishment is doing a great job off the bat is a good sign! My parents opened the salon next door in the late 90s and sold it probably about 6-7 years ago, so this location is extremely nostalgic for me and I always love to support the businesses in the area. I stopped by Bikeeny on a Sunday morning and was greeted by an absolute sweetheart at the register. I had some questions about the menu that she answered for me with a smile. I ordered two large iced coffees, two bacon egg and cheeses, a chai snickerdoodle cookie, and a feta dill Bikeeny (such a cute name, I could scream!). Everything was out of this world. The coffees were huge and they had a great flavor selection. The cookie and bikeeny were sinfully delicious. The breakfast sandwiches were cooked to perfection. They were simple but amazing and so crispy in all the right ways. I signed up for their loyalty program where you get a free coffee for every 5 you buy. Yay! So happy for them. Go stop by and show support to the newcomers!

I was up in Malden for jury duty and went in to this coffee shop (conveniently across from the courthouse) during one of my breaks. I'm still thinking about the egg and cheese sandwich. It was delicious. The cold brew was also outstanding, and the two guys working there were so friendly. Good vibes all around. I'm so glad I decided to check this place out. I'm not often in Malden but will certainly be back to try some of their pastries.

Had heard of this place when they'd done a pop up at Idle Hands Brewery and finally got a chance to go to the store itself! Kind of a hole in the wall place and easy to miss if you're driving past, but I definitely recommend stopping in! I got a drip coffee and my fiancé got a mocha and both beverages were delicious. I also got 4 "bikeenys" and all were absolutely delightful warmed up. My fiancé got a breakfast sandwich and enjoyed that as well. Recommend for a quick coffee or a grab and go breakfast! Good prices for good quality.

Found this gem while visiting a friend in the area. Brewed coffee has great flavor and Elon's Latte was perfectly done, not too sweet. We ordered a Nutella bikeeny, an Italian cheese bikeeny, and a cinnamon bikeeny. All were fresh and yummy. I loved the texture of the cinnamon because it had that buttery cinnamon-sugar crunch to it. I enjoyed the saltiness that the Italian cheese added to the pastry. I found myself wishing the Nutella had a bit more salt, but no complaints here! Everything was great- small seating area but great music. Tabletops and chairs nice and clean. Attached picture of pastries listed and a 16oz Elon's Latte.
