Bikini Bay

Waste of $50. I called to confirm he made custom suits, he said yes. I went and told him I wanted a custom suit, he said yea but then started showing me bikinis he had and how to tie them. He sold me a bikini. I didn’t feel comfortable trying it on there so I took it home and tried it over clothing and it didn’t fit! I brought it back to him, told him it didn’t fit, and he threw the bag the bikini was in on the ground. I skated away! Ain’t nobody got time for that. Will buy bikini elsewhere. Too bad he doesn’t actually custom make bikinis :-/

This guy is the sweetest ever!! He gave me such a good deal & it’s my favorite swimsuits I owned. He showed me new ways to tie my top and such unique handmade designs! You have to come here

I definitely recommend bikini bay for anyone in the Venice beach area looking for a stylish and well made bathing suit. They are all made by the owner who is a bikini guru. He was so nice and respectful and showed me so many new ways to tie bikinis. I love my experience here, the friendly conversation and impeccable customer service really made my beach day epic! Thanks bikini bay for adding the cherry (or should I say the peach 🍑) on top of a perfect vacation!

Fred is a bikini wizard. He is passionate about fabric, and fits! He is kind, considerate, and very knowledgeable. As a local, I’m surprised to find such a great treasure in a tourist pocket. I will be back!

I loved the store. When I lived in LA I always got my bikinis from there. Great customer service and he gives an honest opinion on what fits best. The bikinis I got from there are still my favorite!

This store could do with better and more polite customer service.... I was looking for Digital print swimsuits specifically and they almost had none... I even showed him the images... below

Refused me service and told me he has nothing for me as soon as I walked in. Had no clue what or who I was shopping for.

Very nice owner, great quality and great selection. Lots of fun, pretty bathing suits that aren't your typical Amazon swimsuits.

I wish I could give this guy a zero star. I went here to look for matching bottoms but everything he had that matched was way too skimpy and I politely asked if he had anything more modest And he said no lol then I asked if he custom makes bottoms .. he said yes but he's too busy...(no one was going in there) so I kept looking around for a color that would compliment my bikini top. I asked if he had more sizes, he completely ignored me trying to get ppl to come look at his swimwear, so I asked again and he shook his head. He then tells me I'm not going to find anything that matches so I let him know LOOK I have a background in fashion I know how to look for complimentary colors. Then I decided I don't want to give this guy my business. So I walk out and he starts telling me to never (bad word) come back. I went back up to him and asked why he's a bad business man and treats his potential customers that way. He was very mean, no class, no taste, just a jerk. Bad business he doesn't deserve your business.

My girlfriend saw this shop walking to dinner so we stopped by. I feel like he measured us to give the illusion that he was giving us a custom size. But really it's only one size offered and I think he just measured us to touch our bodies. Do not go here if you want to pick your swim suit, instead he will tell you what you can buy from him. (Luckily he and I both wanted minimal coverage bottoms for me). On my way out I saw him turn down a customer because she did not fit his "hot girl" aesthetic. Would not recommend, would not go back. Guy gives off creepy vibes and also showed me a picture of his hot girlfriend.
