I called ahead for a to-go order for a brisket taco (among other items). I arrive, pay, and leave. While opening the taco to check it, HALF of the brisket is actually just brisket fat. Why am I paying $3 for a single taco to be half fat? I’m on my way to work, so I can’t turn around to have it remade right now. I call and ask if I can swing by later today to have a new taco because the one I got is half fat. The woman on the phone asks for my receipt #, which I provide, and she tells me I need to bring the original taco BACK to the store and show them the issue so the line workers know how to not have this issue again. I’m sorry, huh? You want me to keep this taco in my car for 5 hours to come show your workers what fat looks like? I say that’s a crazy request, and anytime I’ve had an issue with an order at this particular location, they’ve always been incredibly diligent about correcting mistakes. I call back and let the woman know I’ll just be taking a photo of the fat and leaving it as a review so they can see it for themselves because I won’t be keeping a taco in my car for 5 hours. And I say when I return later today, I’d like a refund or a remade taco, and the woman hung up on me. Mind you, I wasn’t yelling and wasn’t aggressive. Insane customer service request and behavior on their part.
