Bill's Bar & Burger

Place has a fun environment, music, and sports on tv. We got the South of the Burger and the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. The fries were well seasoned and the South of the Burger was really good but took a star off because the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was uncomfortably salty (it may have too much going on). But great service and a fun vibe to the restaurant.

From the moment I walked in, the customer service at Bill Burger was top-tier—courteous, prompt, and genuinely welcoming. The burgers? Absolutely delicious. Juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s rare to find a place that nails both hospitality and food quality, but Bill Burger does just that. In short: I came for a meal and left in a committed relationship—with the burger. 10/10, would dine again

Currently staying at the Marriott for city break. Decided to try Bills bar and burgers. It didnt dissapoint. We were served by Edgar who was very attentive, super friendly and went out his way to make an amazing mixer drink!! The food was stunning. My personal fav was the buffalo wings. Thanks for the great food and amazing service!👌

We went during a very busy time, so there was a wait. There is a very large waiting area once we were seated it took a bit for our server to help us because it was so packed. It was two of us. We did not order any drinks they did not have any festive holiday drinks, which is what we were looking for between both of us. We ordered a chicken burger, an American burger, a side salad, and a side of fries. The burgers were great. The salad was great. The fries were a large serving of shoestring fries, but were very cold. I suggest sitting towards the inside or closer to the middle area of the bar because the draft is very cold and it is uncomfortable to sit closer to the door. Our server was great and very attentive. Prices are decent for the portions and there is something for everybody at this restaurant.

For all the tourists that want to experience a real American burger restaurant - this is your sign to visit Bill‘s Bar & Burger Place in Financial District. I really loved the atmosphere, it was just how you‘d imagine the typical American Dine-in. The service was great and the food even better. New York City in general is extremely expensive, so in comparison these prices were pretty cheap and you still got better food/service than in most of the other restaurants. Additionally, it was not that crowded at all, which makes it like a secret spot. I would highly recommend this Burger restaurant! It‘s by far the best one I‘ve been at during my stay in NYC. :)

Great burgers! Juicy and flavorful. Sweet potato fries were a bit dry and crunchy, but it depends on your liking. Chill atmosphere, good attentive service.

This is a great spot if you are looking to get some food near the 9/11 memorial. The food was AMAZING ! We ordered the cheese dip and 2 burgers. And the atmosphere was very very welcoming! The staff was great and very polite! We'd definitely be coming here again!

We stopped by Bill's Bar & Burger Downtown after visiting the 9/11 Memorial and walking around the Financial District. Initially, we were a bit skeptical because of the 3.6 rating, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I ordered the Bill's Burger--a classic, no-frills option--and added bacon. It was delicious and cooked just right. The fries were just okay, nothing special, but the burger definitely made up for it. Our server, a very friendly gentleman (wish I could remember his name), made the experience even better with his great service. The restaurant was clean, and while the restrooms are located in the hotel, they were well-maintained. Overall, I really enjoyed this burger spot. Great choice if you're in the area and craving a solid, satisfying burger.

I came here after going across the street to another spot and seeing the prices of one drink... whew! I walked out of that place so fast! ($27-35 for one cocktail is insane!!). So i saw this spot which was right across the street had a sign for happy hour, and that's what i came out for with my girls. It was an easy replacement. I came first, and my first impression was a little meh... i wanted to sit at the bar, and there was a bunch of high top bar tables and chair, so i proceeded to sit at one. One of the male staff asked me was i here for the bar. I said yes, and rudely he said "you have to stand over there and check in" that was a little off putting a bit, but our server helped with that. She was amazing. I ordered a lemon drop, which was nice. Wings were on happy hour with half off apps. I love that. However, only beer was on the happy hour menu, and that's not my cup of tea. So i ordered a round of shots, and a lemon drop. My friends arrived and we ordered more apps and drinks and just had a great girl talk. It was a successful happy hour and a successful Friday of girl chat and light bites. I didn't try anything else, but i would go back if i was in the area and a bit hungry. The wings were really good. We ordered 3 orders lol. The ambiance was that of a sports bar. Nothing fancy. Good drinks, good wings. What more can you ask for? See pics below.

Perfect spot for a team outing! We came for some burgers and beers and to watch some games. We were a big party and the staff handled us very well and timely. Definitely a casual spot id go to again

Great food! We were starving after visiting the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 museum. Quick Google search and we found Bills... The chicken sandwich was amazing! Double chicken patty and tasty! My daughter loved her burger and the strawberry milk shake was the perfect touch! It was creamy and delicious! Since we came through the side entrance we didn't realize it was attached to a hotel until we went to the restroom... even more happy points as hotel food/restaurants always seem to lack something! Great option for a lunch/dinner with kids.

This burger place is pretty cool. Honestly the burgers tasted average and pretty standardized. Price wise it's a little higher on price but standardized for burger. What's cool though is the ambiance and space that this place has. I ordered the Fat Cat! I like how the bun is not a typical burger bun for the fat cat but more of a toast bread. The burger itself is pretty standardized for a burger at a bar. I would recommend trying the fat cat out if you're in the area, I would recommend checking this place out!

4.5!!! Everything was really good, not amazing but solid burgers and apps! The spinach artichoke dip was solid, the best I've ever had? No. But was tasty to share with friends. Don't recommend the mozzarella sticks, kind of tasted like they just came out the freezer and were eh. The fat cat was super tasty and was a deceivingly large portion. Fun music and football games playing on the tvs so it was a very fun spot to eat!

Very disappointed with our experience here. Our waiter was lovely but the server dropped our entire tray of food (for a table of 6) all over the floor splashing some of the food on my niece's leg and my other niece's bag. We had to wait another 15-20 minutes for our food and not so much as an apology from the manager or even an offer of a free milkshake. Our waiter was lovely but poor form from management.

The bartender serving us stated "she didn't like our vibe". All we did was order our drinks and watch an f1 race at the bar. Don't go here

The service at Bill's Bar & Burger was phenomenal. Our server was attentive and helped provide recommendations. The person I was with ordered a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, bacon and deli meat, and other condiments. They really enjoyed it. I ordered the Tuscan chicken sandwich which came with sautéed peppers, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella on a brioche bun. The chicken was way overcooked, making it tough to enjoy. I also got an order of spinach dip which was underwhelming in terms of both size and flavor. The bar was dark and there was music playing. Overall, I didn't particularly enjoy my meal but the person I was with came back the next day for a salad. I suppose my advice would be to avoid the new Tuscan chicken sandwich lol

Yummy burgers !!! Walked up and there was a line out the door. So we went in and grabbed 4 seats at the bar that was empty. Big was our bartender and he was supper cool. Place is super relaxed but crazy busy with that old school diner feel. We split a bunch of sammies and everyone got a beer. First we started with the hot chicken sliders with blue cheese and they were real yummy then we had the mushroom burger and a regular burger and both were great. Great place to watch a game as well.

Continues to be great place for a variety of burgers. Stopped by on Halloween evening (wasn't too busy) and had the Big Cat which was an impressive burger and even the basic Bill's burger was very good. The chili cheese fries made for a nice side.

Always appreciate the great care we're given at this location with server Edgar. He's attentive as well as helpful. Really exceptional.

My stay at the Marriott includes a 15 dollar per day credit at Bills to offset the $30 per day city hotel fee. One day I ordered the Belgium waffle with fruit to go. The problem was the fruit was obviously thawed frozen berries and not fresh. The second day I just got a bagel with cream cheese that cost twice what a plain bagel with cream cheese cost at a regular bagel shop in NY. I wanted to order the steel cut oatmeal but all the toppings usually included were an extra cost. While not cost prohibitive for the extras, I feel that for the price of the oatmeal the toppings should be included. Got my oatmeal at Starbucks instead. Update -this evening I stopped in for a burger to-go. I asked the host to please have my burger cut in half, to which he replied "they don't do that", the proceeded to say they don't have knives for that, and that knives are at the table for some I'm customers. So in other words, they won't do it for take out orders. I thought WTF and wanted to give a rude reply but had my young grandson with me. It's not even worth it to go for my $15 daily credit.

The food was surprising very good and Stephanie was amazing Just great service and what hospitality is truly about :) Everyone in the crowd seems different-ish and it was quite nice Good vibes, good music

If you're looking for a place to go after a long day of work, this is the spot. The drinks was nice. Food and wings were better and it was all around vibe. I will definitely go again.

We went here for a company luncheon to welcome a new employee. George was great. He greeted us with a smile and checked on us throughout the meal. His customer service was perfect. Our waitress Nilar was excellent. We were a party of 7 and she attended to our needs perfectly. I am gluten free and she made sure all I ordered was ok for me to eat. She worked very hard during the hour we were there. The food was very good. I had a hamburger with provolone and thoroughly enjoyed. The guacamole was also very good. Everybody enjoyed their food. The bar there is also a great hang out spot as I had been there in the past. You can also sign up for their points program as many restaurants are under it and you can reap many rewards. If in the downtown area and in the mood for burgers or a salad & a bunch of other choices, stop in here and say hello. Extra bonus they have some video games!

Amazing service from Ricky. He was very kind and relatable. Also, the chicken sandwiches are huge and priced very reasonably. :)

The mini burgers were ok. The salad was wilted. And although the waitress was super nice, she disappeared for a half hour.

Great vibes, TVs all over and perfect for watching any sports. Shakes are yummy and amazing cold beers! Stephanie was amazing! Excellent experience and service.

This is a good tourist spot ! If you want to try some "American Food" atleast what the whole world thinks American food is lol this is a fun spot to go to for a birthday or celebration cause everything is huge. I got the BIG MAMOOOO burger and asked for the mac n cheese on the side cause there was no way I could bite into it if it was added to the burger. It was extremely delicious tho! The spinach and artichoke dip was really good as well. The wings were amazingggggggg one of the BEST wings I've had in the city . (Forgot to take a pic cause I ate them so fast ) I would literally come back here just to grab a seat at the bar and have these wings with a cold beer ! The service was great as well!

Waiter seemed a little off with the questions he asked about water cup type and to go containers but overall food was fine. I had the chicken sandwich with peppers on top which was pretty good. Was missing something with seasoning but couldn't quite place what. Plenty of fries were given with the entree that I was full from the good sweet potato fries alone. Thank you!

Ordered takeout from Bill's Bar and Burger located inside the Marriott Downtown New York City. Calling in the order was an easy process and our food was ready within 20 minutes. The menu is quite extensive but given its name, we had to try their burgers. We ordered fries, Bill's Burger with lettuce and cheese, and a mushroom Swiss Burger. The burgers were decent - weren't great and they weren't bad. Marriott Bonvoy members staying there get dining credit at Bill's so the restaurant is pretty packed at breakfast and dinner times.

I ate there for 2 breakfasts, as my hotel across the street had no food options. The service was awesome both times, but the food was great one day, and not so great the second. The blueberry pancakes were pretty tasty, but that is all you get: blueberry pancakes (well, and a handful of blueberries on the side). I ordered the bacon & egg sandwich, but couldn't get through much of that. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but the eggs were cooked to brown on the outside, and I honestly can't tell if the yellow stuff on top was supposed to be Hollandaise, or nacho cheese sauce from a can. I picked out the bacon, and ate that. Maybe a bad day? Servers were awesome, though.

Our meal was terrible. I'm not sure how a salad can be so poorly made. Croutons tasted like they had been in a fridge for weeks. Fries were stale. Do better please

THIS RESTAURANT IS AMAZING! The Burgers, Nachos, Fries and basically everything is amazing. One of the best restaurants in NYC! The service was outstanding, the ambiance was nice, and overall just an amazing mood. The drinks are amazing as well. Definitely stop here if you want an amazing meal.

The burgers are well done and taste amazing Would definitely come back again for a night out Beware to ask prior whether or not you want your check split. They don't have the best customer service , one server in particular is a little too tip hungry

Conveniently located at Downtown Marriott in Manhattan. Great Happy Hour l, great service but average wings, sauce was bland. Pretzel Bites were good - good grilled cheese - tomato soup was just ok. Great beers to choose from and awesome location.

Fabulous food and spacious restaurant- not very common in NYC! Our server was nice enough but incredibly inattentive, so much so that it colored our whole experience. I'd definitely go back though as it looked like other servers were actually serving their tables.

We were walking around Manhattan and realized we were hungry. Bill's was not on our list of restaurants we "just had to try," but someone on the street recommended it and it was en route back to our hotel so we popped in. Bill's has a Chili's / Applebee's / TGIF / Cheddar's sort of vibe. Hopefully that comparison is not offensive. It's just in TX this is the same vibe we get in those places. Around the table we had two Gobblers (turkey burgers) and a Classic Bill's Burger, plus an order of fries for the table. All the burgers were good enough, though somewhat mediocre. They were late bringing the fries but they were hot and fresh and nicely salted. The service was slow, which wasn't due to limited staff so not sure what that was about.

This was convenient to my hotel and kept me from walking too far in the rain lol. I went in with no expectations. The service was great. He was friendly, quick and knowledgeable on the menu. Although he tried to steer me away from the turkey I didn't listen. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger but swapped out the beef for turkey. It wasn't horrible.....just a little dry. I really enjoyed the mushrooms and the crunchy onions. There are ways to make turkey burgers moist but these don't have it. The sweet potato fries were excellent! I like thin crispy fries though. This place served its purpose - quick, convenient and decent food.

The worst! We came down from the hotel side and stood at the hostess stand for 38 minutes as servers walked by. We finally flagged down someone as asked was the restaurant closed. They said no and 4 more servers walked by and finally said oh we can sit you now. Finally we were sat only to be forgotten about for another 45 minutes while 8 workers stand around and talk!!!! We ordered wings extra crispy, they came out raw on the inside. For 1 burger and 1 order of wings and an empty restaurant took over 3hrs. Needless to say we paid for our water and burger and left hungry! I wish I could give zero stars for service. Zero stars for tastes. And zero stars for the environment. Throw the whole restaurant away. Trash!

First time in New York! after a long walk at Central Park we tried Bill's bar for a drink and some onion rings. Felt so welcoming and Stephanie made sure to make it extra special for me and my husband as first timers. With her friendly presence and kindness made us feel so special! Thanks Stephanie, we're definitely going back for another house beer later tonight.

Good affordable burger near battery park .. definitely would come back when they have live music . Went on a lunch time and the burger was perfectly cooked and sweet potato fries was excelent!

We are staying at the Marriott Downtown for one night and had a $30 meal credit to burn so we had a late lunch. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, quesadilla, and Caesar salad. The mozzarella was good. Could've been a little meltier but the breading was flavorful and crispy. They didn't serve it with marinara which is unusual. Instead it came with a ranch and some other type of creamy/spicy sauce. They were good and I didn't miss the marinara. They came on a bed of fried onions straws and those were tasty. My quesadilla was good. The chicken was season nicely and there was plenty of it. Husband said the Caesar salad was only ok. It seemed like the Parmesan was Kraft from a can and the croutons were meh as was the dressing. The service was great. Jada was very friendly and attentive.

I came here for national burger day and happy hour. During happy hour appetizers a half off, I had the Loaded Nachos, buffalo wings and the Killer Bs. The Killer B consist of five sliders, which aren't that small on top of a bed of fries and onion rings. I also had IPA. The sliders itself can be shared. The loaded nachos was so good. I loved the Buffalo sauce on the wings. They have several TVS where you can watch sports.

Went here when a friend was visiting from out of town. It's inside the marriott downtown hotel. So it's a nice easy options for those staying at the hotel or nearby. Tried it for dinner and happy hour. Happy hour: was pleasantly surprised by the prices and the vibe is exactly what you would expect for a hotel restaurant. It's nice but also quick and easy. Dinner- again pretty much what you would expect. Quick, easy bar feel and bar food style. I ordered a ginger beer and we shared a bunch of the app's. It was a good decision. Took the chocolate cake to go, also a good decision. Price: fair for being inside a hotel. Ambience: bar feel, dark, booths and hard tables. Staff : some were friendlier than others. Would try it again, if in need of a quick spot and in the area.

I have visited New York for 30+ years and have never had a bad meal until Bills bar and Burger. The $28 dollar Fish and Chips consisted of a bed of fries with 23 small pieces of fish 2"x3". Our group of 3 also felt their selections rated poor to average. The service was average. A New York first.

Awesome boneless buffalo wings! We sat at the bar and Stephanie is the absolute best!

The waiters were very friendly and very kind when there was a spilled drink. Everything sort of took a while to come out but the food was alright, a little overpriced but that is to be expected. Not too loud and it's a nice atmosphere.

It was a deeply humiliating experience. The manager made us feel very disrespected as a family of first responders. I hope businesses near ground zero will be more thoughtful. Heartbreaking.

Our server was truly the star of this restaurant. She was so friendly, on top of everything and just generally great energy. To eat, I had the fish sandwich with American cheese, which was huge but kind of lacking in flavor some how. The fish was nice and crispy though and I liked the fresh onion and tomato. The onion rings were great, would recommend those, but skip the Caesar salad. My friend had a burger and he enjoyed. A solid spot for burgers and beer in fidi
