I had the best fried pork sandwich - beautifuly cooked, very flavorful. Nothing was added to detract from the flavor. The fries were really good as well - you can still taste the potato. We were there on a Saturday for lunch and our food came out quickly.

1st & last time eating here. I called in my order and when I arrived (15mins later) to pick it up, I was told it wasn’t ready yet, but should be soon. After a few minutes of standing there one of the employees asked the cashier what was I waiting for and after she answered her, the girl pointed to a brown paper bag that was sitting on the counter since I walked in. After being handed the bag, I asked what it was because I knew all the food I ordered couldn’t had been in that bag. I was only missing my 2 side items, but my burgers, that were in that bag, were now cold, sloppy, & the cheeseburger w/no bun was missing the cheese. The cashier/person who took my order over the phone was great, but the communication between the employees is where I assume the ball dropped. For $23 I expected my main food items to at least be warm. My side items did taste good & im sure my Carolina burger would’ve been amazing if it was fresh and well stacked together. As pictured, this is how the bag looked and the food/wrapping, when it was given to me. I will not be wasting my money here anymore 😔

Okay, so the biscuits aren't showing up as an option for me on Google, but please, please try them, especially with hoop cheese. I'm telling you, this menu is like LeBron James—everything I've had is a slam dunk, this menu does not miss. So far, that's the chicken biscuit in the morning, the egg and cheese biscuit too, the burgers, and the cheesesteak. Jeff was the gentleman that service today and he is the absolute G.O.A.T at what he does. Will recommend 10 out of 10.

heading to Wilmington from MD & pulled this place up on "food near me" - a little bit off the main hwy & 100% worth it. Hometown hospitality, delicious food, sweetest staff, & baked-this-morning desserts. Even the young cook leaving his shift for the day asked us how our meal was. Lots of atmosphere for a place so tiny!

Had heard about this place for ages, just never found myself in downtown Wilson. What a mistake to have waited so long. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. We both said we need to make this a regular visit in the future. The food was home cooked quality with care and real food.

I really don't like giving negative reviews to any establishment, especially one with many good reviews. My wife and I when we go out to eat especially breakfast, which is our favorite meal, likes to enjoy a good cup of fresh brewed coffee at least I do and a good omelet, which by the way use to include toast and potatoes, now its all an added charge on top of paying extra for eggs. And that's ok, it is what is, we don't mind paying extra if need be. However when you get a cup of warm coffee and have to ask for a spoon, somethings not right. When we got our meal that's when we got our silverware, wrapped up in a napkin. Of course when I opened mine there was no fork in it. So again, for the third time going up to the counter, once for a spoon, once for a new cup of coffee and now a fork, it tends to get annoying. While I was eating my breakfast I noticed the taste was off, I thought that it was just me so we finished up, paid the bill and left. About an hour later I found myself feeling sick and spent some time in the bathroom. So maybe my taste wasn't off.

This was our first visit. We had an enjoyable breakfast. The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant. We found out they have daily specials in the evening. We're looking forward to enjoying the Prime rib night (on Saturdays. I believe).

Had a great meal at Wilson location. Loaded chicken was a very tasty dish with bacon and special sauce. Mashed potatoes and gravy tasted home made. Salad was not the best. Fries were the best fries I've ever had. The service was very good and friendly. Not a long wait for home made,tasty lunch dish. No curb appeal;we hesitated. But inside was clean and accommodating. Seemed like a fav of the local people.

A firm three stars from my experience this evening. A wet floor leading from back door to bathrooms on to salad bar. Made for slippery and dicey walk back to table. Food was nothing special. Service was fine. Noted cook in kitchen move his hands back and forth over his closely cropped scalp multiple times in the food prep area. We probably will not be back.

92.5 is a sorry cleanliness score. Get it to at least 95 in order for us to try this establishment.

We were in town for a soccer tournament and ate here. This cute restaurant is located downtown so there is plenty of parking. It's small inside and can fill up quickly. Service was great and the staffed were all friendly. The prices are affordable and the food is decent. Good comforting American food. The wings were good and my children all enjoyed their food.

We had a large party post soccer games. Everyone enjoyed the food. My "Farmhouse burger" was on point. Martins potato bun/ grilled onions are fire! Three young men who had just played soccer enjoyed everything. From rib eye, burgers, chicken sandwiches, fried okra, salad bar, sweet potato fries. One in our party did think the sweet tea was too sweet ( as mentioned in other reviews) and one loved it! We would definitely return. As a party of 12, the service was spot on, refills, to go cups, we were well taken care of. Kudos to the wait staff.

I come here often when I'm in Wilson, so that should speak for itself. The food is always hot, servers most often are on point and the desserts are just southern cooking at its best. Great place for a filling meal without breaking the bank.

We ate here after a soccer game in Wilson this weekend. Food was great and service was amazing. What a gem of a place to find.!

Why is it 12.00 for a turkey burger? Is it very very large patty? Is it house in made from scratch? What does it come with?

Blackcreek is where Bills became home but the food and service is great in both places!!

Food here was excellent!! PSA --- I would steer clear if no mask enforcement is something you are not okay with. The wait staff was so friendly and happy to serve us for brunch. The selections were plentiful and the prices are extremely affordable so you can try a little bit of everything. I'm a chicken wing lover and they have their recipe down to a T!! Highly recommend for diners on a budget that appreciate good home cooking! Oh, and per our server they are serving beer and wine now. We do hope to revisit the next time we are strolling in downtown Wilson. :)

The food here is great. Breakfast is delicous from biscuits to platters. Cheeseburgers are cooked to perfection. If you get a chance try the Rib-eye Steak.

The Turkey Burger. I love the Turkey Burger! I order it every time, it is always made cook to order! The waitresses are always friendly & hospitable!

Stopped by for breakfast for the first time and I will definitely be going back when in Wilson. The service was friendly and very nice. The food was perfect, I had the traditional breakfast with two perfectly cooked over easy eggs, grits that I salted a little, and then the best part the country ham.

Great food and great service, their cheese/hamburgers are tasty Our server also told us about the Whirligig Park.

Service is always great! Food is always great as well. Whether you get the daily special or Fried Pork Chop plate; it's all good!!

Was in town for the Whirligig Festival and wanted to step away from the squeeze of the crowd outside. Bill's was busy too, but offered seating at a clean table, a friendly staff, and really good inexpensive food. We both had bacon burgers with fries that were tasty as can be. Like a Yelp reviewer said, be patient, it takes a little time to cook good food! The burger was bigger than I expected and there were lots of fries. You really can't beat it for the price! Bill's it's a great little place and we'll be back next time we come to see the whirligigs!

The best food I have ever tasted and the waitress ate very nice and friendly. And the Ambiance was great love the music so if your in Wilson bring your family.

First time there today in a good while. Had the Turkey burger and it's the best I have ever had. Service was excellent. Will be back sooner rather than later.

A great local place. Service is always great, food is cooked to order and tasty, hubby loves the make your own salad bar. It's hard to find a good do it yourself salad bar, according to him. . They often have live music that are locals, not too loud, so it's enjoyable. Definitely recommend!

Hot Dogs were great. Service not very hospitable. You would think southern hospitality but not today.

My husband and I just moved to town and decided to give this place a try for breakfast today. We were not disappointed. I order the same thing at pretty much every breakfast place... Pancakes, sausage, home fries/hash browns, and black coffee. The food was on point! The pancakes were great and the home fries are some of the best I've had. The sausage was good and the coffee was just that good ole diner coffee that I love for some reason. My husband really enjoyed his food as well and was very pleasantly surprised by the generous portioned and well seasoned sausage link he got. The service was also great! The gal who served us was so friendly and attentive. She made us feel really welcomed and made our experience even better. Over all, it's a cute little place with great family friendly ambiance and great food! We will definitely be back.

Yuk!!! Chicken taste like frozen chicken in box at food lion, took 30 min to get food, tea was 5x too sweet and didnt taste right, asked for unseasoned fries twice, and we got seasoned fries....bad experience!! Never go back...I vomited it out in bathroom

Stopping in Wilson for the night down the road at a camp ground. Love to hit mom and pops in small towns and this place nailed it. Small, good menu, good service, looks to be family owned, and most of all great food. If you're swinging through, give it a try.

Good food, good service. Takes a while to wait for food to be fixed or prepped. Be patient. Daily specials are great. Veggies fresh & tasty a sparse but efficient dining area. I really appreciate a new dining option in downtown Wilson. Very much needed & they should do well.

Stopped here for dinner during a road trip and glad we did! Great food selections to include a salad bar. The live music was awesome, and the musician was kind to the waitstaff. We enjoyed the food and environment and when we find ourselves in the area again, we'll be back.

I have given Bill's a great review before but am so sorry to have to amend that. My family has looked forward to a nice breakfast biscuit takeout just about every week but in the past couple of months the food is just getting so poor compared to what it was. Sample this mornings bacon and cheese biscuit featuring undercooked bacon and a white doughy "biscuit" that was not cooked. Last week I had a biscuit burned on the bottom and not edible. Looks like its back to fast food for a while.

We were looking for Bill's Drive In (now closed). I read the reviews for Bill's Grill and decided to give it a try. Believe the hype!

We enjoy Bill's grill! Great food & prices. The ribeye sandwiches are delicious! Friday nights are always busy with the delicious seafood.

This place has been a great addition to historic downtown Wilson because they serve really great food and excellent prices and the staff are always nice and I don't know how they keep it so clean but they always do you need to try this little gem

I loved it.They are so sweet and inviting.Food was on point.And those wings was exactly the way I liked them.And you must try the fry's.

This is by far the best and family oriented restaurant in Wilson. They serve a variety of food and are open Monday - Saturday 7am-9pm! We love to eat here and love their dinner appetizers and hamburger steak! The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience! Be sure to check this place out!

Great place-Great Food and Great Service! We have eaten several different items on menu and haven't had anything bad yet! We will definitely be back!

Your typical friendly small town cafe with great friendly service. Daily specials and Friday seafood! The fried oysters on Friday are awesome. I haven't had a bad meal - everything is really great! You won't be disappointed!

Standard Wilson meh lunch fare. Mediocre overcooked burgers. Lunch special looked like soupy "chicken and pastry". Cheap and edible and that's about all.

Great little place! Friendly wait staff and good food. Delicious homemade yellow cake with chocolate icing. All in all a great visit.
