Bill's Kingston Restaurant

Beautiful restaurant by the river Thames in Kingston town with both indoor and outdoor tables. Atmosphere is the best! Lunch set is attractive. Good for friends gathering or birthday celebration. Only thing is you need to find a car park nearby like John Lewis car park. Services are great!! Will come back more often for lunch during nice weather!!

Had brunch at this place. We ordered eggs royale, taste was 10/10. Fresh ingredients, but crumpets were bit hard. We went on Friday, and you can order bottomless pancakes which are so delicious. Atmosphere was good, we sat close to the door and you can enjoy the view and the sun.

Had to queue even though there were plenty of tables that we could see outside. It took staff quite a while to come out and attend to front-of-house duties. Probably should have a part-dedicated staff member for this particularly at the busier times. Staff were friendly, food was delicious and we had a lovely relaxed brunch and spritzers seated outdoors on a beautiful day by the river. A bonus is they accept the Bluelight discount card here 🤗

We had a wonderful dining experience at Bill’s! From start to finish, the service was exceptional — especially from our waitress Lily, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. She made us feel so welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. A special shoutout as well to the manager, who kindly offered a little treat to our golden retriever Orla — such a thoughtful gesture that really made our day! The whole team was friendly and accommodating, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Great food, lovely staff, and truly dog-friendly — we’ll definitely be back. Thank you again, Lily and team!

Came for the bottomless pancakes and stayed for the atmosphere! Our lovely server was Alisha and she was very kind in explaining the menu and offers. Tried 2 pancake flavors and they were delish! Coming back for sure.

Delicious dinner, really friendly and helpful staff (thanks Gabriel!) and a beautiful setting on the riverfront. The shawarma was perfect and the doughnuts were so good. Never a bad meal at Bill’s.

Very accommodating to our party of 10 at the last minute! Lily was a fabulous host, making sure we were never short of anything and drinks were topped up!

Fantastic location, food and service! Sat outside by the river. Our group had burgers and eggs Benedict both delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back!

I have been to Bill's in Kensington High St and Richmond and have not been very impressed by their service or food but this one in Kingston is really nice. The location is lovely - by the river. The food (breakfast) was served promptly and was delicious and the staff were very nice, quick and courteous. I highly recommend the strawberry and banana pancaked - they were yummy!

This Bills doesn't beat the one in Brighton! What I love about the Brighton restaurant is that it's got that organic and farm vibe feel to it. This branch in Kingston, on paper sounds lovely- it's right on the river Thames, very picture perfect and stunning. However, I feel that this store doesn't have much authenticity and feels like every other type of restaurant! Although, bills actually calls itself a Cafe! Did you know that?? This doesn't feel like cafe! Anyway... I had the hallomi burger with sweet potato fries! It was LOVELY! My sister had this amazing looking elderflower drink, it came with so much fruit! Top tip. Ask for the mayo and chilli sauce. OH MY DAYS. it's gooooood! For real. All in all. A ok. If you've never been to the Brighton - your realise how good it is in comparison!

Bill's is a fairly reliable chain, it's never amazing but that food and service are normally pretty good. This Bill's has an excellent location along the riverfront in Kingston (it's interesting how the restaurants have come and go here over the years as chains become more successful then fade away). I order a slightly odd combo of mini sausages, broccoli and squid. The sausages were ncie, the broccoli wasn't very good (I basically always order tenderstem broccoli when I see it on a menu and I don't think I've ever thought - meh - before). The squid was fine but not the best example I've had. Love their pink lemonade float, everywhere should have this on the menu! Interesting to find out that tips via cards go straight to Head Office...does not reflect well on the company.

So, I would have given Bill's 2 stars for our food, but our waitresses were so incredibly lovely, polite, professional, interesting, that they eclipsed the downside of Bill's....which is that for £12 you get a salad that is the size (barely) of a starter. Shame on them.... We were compensated with complimentary coffee...our dessert was delicious, but they really need to rethink their portion sizes. It ws quite shocking. However, as I said, the girls looking after us were completely charming (seriously), and I would always go back to give them a 2nd try because of that. I hope that Bill's appreciates them.

We had a delicious breakfast. I had a traditional English breakfast and my husband had French toast, and we were both very happy. Service was prompt and friendly. We had a view of the river. All in all, Bill's is quite charming.

Disappointed by the menu here and didn't think there were many attractive healthy options. I had a burger but it was very dry. The sweet potato chips seemed extra salty. The staff also seemed very rushed to take our order. We ate at dinner time. I think it may be better for breakfast.

Great food i love the breakfast! The service is amazing food came very quickly the views are amazing.Would come here again for sure!

We went for brunch on Sunday. Greeted by a gentleman at the door and he brought us to our seat in the middle of the restaurant. Approached by a waitress who we ordered our coffees and teas straightaway. While waiting for our drinks we look around and notice the restaurant is getting busier. Our drinks arrived and the waitress took our order (sorry we forgot her name). When the food arrived we ordered another drinks from the blonde European manager. Waited for half hour we could see the drinks is waiting to be served at the bar and the same manager passing by with no intentions of picking up the drinks and serving us? The other waitress saw the drinks took them and served us. Finally! Again, the same manager shouting at her staff and her colleague? There no need to be so 'bitchy' and rude to your staff dear manager. You need to learn how to work better yourself before you ordering your staff how to do their job better. We give 3 star for the food and you lose 2 start from us because of the bad manager.
